I stayed for three nights and I think it was pretty good. It's a bit of a walk from Shimbashi Station, and the first night it was pouring rain, so it was a bit messy, but I finally made it to the hotel (they offer free umbrella rentals). The room was very clean, and I really liked that the shower and bathtub were separate. It's very close to Ginza, less than a 10-minute walk to the main street. I'd definitely consider staying here again if I have the chance.

The hotel's location is great, and other reviews have already covered it in detail. From Haneda Airport, you can take the subway directly to the hotel's nearest exit, Higashi-Ginza A1 on the Keikyu Line, which has a vertical elevator. Getting back to Haneda Airport was a bit roundabout; you need to go to platform 1 to catch the train, and it takes about thirty-something minutes to reach the airport. My husband and I were traveling with our thirteen-year-old child, and the hotel wouldn't allow us to stay in a double room; we had to book an additional room, which led to extra expenses. For the last two days, we switched to a triple room and paid the difference at the front desk. The hotel's cleanliness was acceptable. I suspect the previous occupants of our room might have been *foreigners from a specific country, as there was an unremovable body odor that made me dizzy. Due to the language barrier, I couldn't communicate this, so we just put up with it. I didn't encounter any Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk, so I don't know if they have any, even though there were indeed many Chinese guests. Breakfast was semi-buffet style, with six main options and other self-serve items. The choices were almost identical for all three mornings, and I really couldn't find anything to my taste. I regretted booking the hotel breakfast; it would have been more delicious and cost-effective to eat at a nearby cafe. This was not a good experience, so whether I'll stay here again in the future is up to fate.

The Dome Hotel has many advantages: First, the transportation is very convenient with JR and subway stations nearby. Second, there are commercial areas all around, making dining and shopping extremely easy. Third, the rooms are spacious, located on high floors with great views, making the stay very comfortable. Fourth, the hotel is exceptionally clean; rooms are tidied and linens changed daily, the bathtub is spotless, and there are virtually no blind spots in room cleanliness. Fifth, the service is great. Both check-in and check-out are self-service, which is very convenient and time-saving, and staff are always nearby to offer prompts and assistance if you encounter any issues. The breakfast add-on is quite expensive, so we didn't dine at the hotel.

I've stayed at the Hilton Tokyo Bay and the Hilton Osaka Umeda before, both of which were good experiences. However, the Odaiba location this time left the deepest impression. It's directly connected to the Odaiba Station on the Yurikamome Line, and with Aqua City and DiverCity Tokyo Plaza nearby, dining and shopping are incredibly convenient. From the hotel, you can see the Statue of Liberty and the Rainbow Bridge, and the views are stunning both day and night.

Room and bed were very comfortable, immaculately clean and modern. 2 mins walk from train station, if you need lift access to train then a 6 mins walk, we had a stroller. Breakfast was a bit of a zoo, we went during Christmas, very busy! But tables were spacious so even though there were so many people you don’t feel cramped. Good variety of food selection. We had dinner at the Japanese teppanyaki restaurant. Delicious, especially the tuna salad. I found the lobby staff a little lack of personality, at check in, no mentioning of where breakfast will be, what time check out is. Just checked you in and that’s it, no personal notes in the room. When I expressed I’ve lost my phone at the shop in Tokyo, no sign of empathy (it was a western male staff) no gesture of helpfulness, very cold and robotic. This goes for concierge also, he is an older western gentleman, he needs to use Google translate also which is frustrating cause I could do exactly the same research with Google translate. Overall, hardware is solid, need to fine tune the staff, sprinkle a little bit of personality in them.

The location is incredibly convenient, whether you're coming from Haneda Airport or Narita Airport, though Narita takes a bit longer. This was my second stay. This time, I was initially given a room facing the train tracks. Even at 11:30 PM, the JR line outside would be noisy every 30 seconds, and it started running before dawn, which meant I didn't sleep well. I then contacted Ctrip customer service, and they helped me switch rooms, which was much better. I also want to mention that the front desk staff during my first visit were excellent, but this time, I felt they were quite cold. I hope management can improve this, as the check-in experience is the first impression of the hotel.

I was impolitely treated by the lobby staff during check out. Everything during the stay was great, until we brought our luggage to the lobby and I was looking for the express checkout box. Failing to found one, I asked one of the staffs (shown in photo) politely about the express checkout boxes, he swiftly pushed me away and ask my to queue up at the check out with a very inpatient attitude. His colleague and his manager apologised for him while he was hiding at the back office after I complained. This is not any customer should have been treated, especially with this level of hospitality and pricing. Won’t be return to this hotel again and I strongly suggest the hotel to refine their training for their staffs.

I’d wanted to stay at this hotel for a long time and loved the idea of a traditional-style hotel right in the heart of Tokyo. The staff were very friendly, and I was happy to get a room on a higher floor as I had requested. The room itself was very small and felt a bit outdated. For this price range, I expected a little more. However, the window — definitely the highlight of the room — offered an incredible view of the city. The onsen was quite small, but wow. Being able to relax in an outdoor bath right in the center of Tokyo while looking out at the city was an amazing experience. The breakfast was also very good.

[HOSHINOYA Tokyo: A Vertical Ryokan Experience] HOSHINOYA Tokyo offers a truly unique concept. It is a traditional Japanese ryokan built vertically within a modern skyscraper, located in the prestigious Otemachi district. It provides a serene, luxurious escape right in the middle of the bustling city, perfectly blending classic ryokan hospitality with world-class modern design. We enjoyed a wonderful three-day, two-night stay at the property from 29 May to 31 May. We chose not to make any meal reservations, which gave us the flexibility to simply relax and explore the surrounding city. [Getting There] We travelled from Fufu Hakone via a day trip to Enoshima and Kamakura. We took a direct train from Kamakura to Tokyo Station, followed by a short walk to the hotel, and arrived at around 8:00 PM. To make the transit completely effortless, our luggage was picked up and delivered directly to the hotel by LuggAgent on the same day. [Arrival and Check-In] The hotel is situated in the central business district and distinctly stands out from the surrounding buildings. The discreet entrance completely shields you from the busy streets. Upon entering, staff immediately store your shoes, as the entire tatami-matted building operates on a barefoot or socks-only policy. We were incredibly lucky to catch a traditional jap instrument performance, which is usually reserved for weekends. A designated staff member managed our check-in with welcome snack & tea and escorted us to level 15. A major highlight is the exclusive lounge on each floor, shared by only 6 suites. It functions as a private living room, fully stocked with complimentary seasonal teas, coffees, and traditional snacks. [The Suite] We stayed in the Sakura suite. Rather than trying to describe the beautiful layout in words, I will let my photos speak for themselves. The beds are low to the floor with a mid-level hardness that we found quite comfortable, and each bed comes with two soft pillows. There is also a television cleverly hidden behind a mirror, though it is worth noting that it only broadcasts Japanese channels. We kept it switched off to maintain the consistent traditional ryokan feel. The provided yukata is absolutely superb. It comes as a full set complete with an inner layer, an outer layer, socks, and a small handbag. The material is soft, stretchy, and incredibly comfortable for lounging and walking around the property. [The Top-Floor Onsen] Having a natural hot spring in central Tokyo is a rare luxury. The onsen is located on the 17th floor and features a stunning design where the roof is open to the sky. As cameras are strictly prohibited, you will have to visualise it or check the hotel website for gallery photos. I understand that the bath is a salty hot spring containing a high concentration of seawater and seaweed minerals trapped deep in the ground. Soaking in this soothing water gently embraces the skin and helps alleviate fatigue in both body and mind. The onsen is open daily from 3:00 PM to 11:30 AM. It was the absolute perfect way to warm up and recharge before we headed out for a busy day. [Areas for Improvement] Toothbrush Set: The provided toothbrush is far too small and takes ages to use. I strongly recommend bringing your own.

This is our second time staying here. The hotel is right next to the Ariake Garden mall, practically seamlessly connected. There are plenty of dining options upstairs and shopping is very convenient. Downstairs, there's a large Aeon supermarket, and right outside its exit, at platform 1, you can catch the bus to Haneda Airport. There's also a big Muji store nearby. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to Ginza from its basement level. While the hotel is situated between two subway lines, neither is too far away, making this location excellent value for money. We booked a family room for two adults and two children, which had four beds. The bathroom and toilet were separate (wet and dry areas), and the room layout was quite good.

After exiting the station, it was just a 5-minute walk to the hotel. The room size wasn't too small; there was still enough space to open one large suitcase and one small suitcase. There's a Family Mart, Lawson, Starbucks, 7-Eleven, and a pharmacy close to the hotel, which is very convenient. The hotel offers an onsen, washing machine/dryer, vending machine, microwave, luggage lockers (for before and after check-in), a fitness center, and a cafe, all within the premises. It's excellent!

If you want to stay somewhere with excellent train connectivity, Tokyo Station is a good bet. That said, I’m personally not a huge fan of Tokyo Station, perhaps because I find the layout a little too complex and confusing. Overall, it’s a pretty standard hotel, but its biggest advantage is its strategic location and direct access to the train network.

Perched atop this magnificent skyscraper, Aman Tokyo, which stunned the world a decade ago, remains an unparalleled benchmark for modern city hotels. ｜The soaring 30-meter high atrium, crafted with washi lanterns, wood textures, and concrete and rock, creates a 'dry landscape' garden in the urban clouds. ｜The view facing the Imperial Palace is arguably Tokyo's most beautiful skyline (it ruthlessly trumps the already impressive view from the neighboring Bulgari). ｜While the ambiance at Arva, the Italian restaurant on the other side of the lobby, is superb, the food wasn't to my taste. I'd recommend the Aman Cafe on the first floor, a glasshouse enveloped by the 'Otemachi Forest' oasis instead.

I visited Tokyo with my 88-year-old father. The hotel’s location is arguably the absolute best, making it incredibly convenient to visit Tokyo’s major attractions. The hotel facilities were also highly satisfying. First and foremost, the amenities in the guest room were excellent, and the thoughtful accessibility considerations for the elderly or infirm gave us great peace of mind. For instance, the provision of a bath chair with a backrest was very impressive. The hygiene and meticulous housekeeping were of the highest standard. Furthermore, the non-slip mat provided in the bathroom clearly reflected a deep consideration for the guests' specific needs. All of this, of course, is a testament to the staff’s proactive service and attentive care. If there was one minor disappointment, I wish a wider variety of pillows had been available in the room. In this regard, I felt it fell slightly short of meeting guests' diverse preferences. Additionally, as a helpful suggestion for safety, designing bathroom doors to open outward to facilitate emergency access in case of an accident inside is a fundamental design principle for luxury hotels. While preventing accidents altogether is ideal, being fully prepared for emergencies is what sets the highest standard of excellence. On another note, despite the hotel being located within a major railway station, there was absolutely no noise. The soundproofing was truly remarkable. The breakfast offered a rich and diverse selection, beautifully balancing traditional Japanese cuisine with Western options. While ordering a more unique or specialized beverage took a bit of time, the quality and taste were highly satisfying. The other facilities, particularly the restaurants and cafes, were exceptionally calm, elegant, and quiet, providing a very pleasant experience. The food, of course, tasted excellent. However, you must ensure you have ample time to enjoy it; it can require a significant amount of time and patience before the food is served in front of you. Overall, our experience was exceptionally satisfying and wonderful. With its rich historical background and narrative, the hotel offered a deeply engaging and far from boring stay.

If you're a Hilton Diamond member, definitely don't book through Trip.com, otherwise, you won't get any upgrade benefits. The main issue is that I've always been able to use them in the US. If I hadn't thought I could get an upgrade, I would have chosen the Imperial instead of coming here. Trip.com should also have a disclaimer in their description. Keep in mind that at Conrad, you have to take two elevators to get from the entrance to your room, and they assigned me a room furthest from the elevator. I had to drag a bunch of shopping bags all the way to the front desk to get a new room key. At breakfast in the morning, I ordered à la carte, and they completely forgot my order. Everyone around me had finished eating, and when I asked the server, she had forgotten about it! All in all, the service at the Imperial is still better~

Great staff/hotel/location! This is the second time we chose to stay at Remm Roppongi. The first time in March this year. In Sep. we chose here again coz this is a great hotel. We are lucky to have Mr. Kiyonaga-san 清永 to receive us when we check in. He is very considerate with our requests and tried his best to accommodate us after our trip from Hokkaido. He left us a very good impression, and made us feel like home. We love Remm Roppongi even more. The hotel also has a great location, convenient transportation with subways, close to a lot of sightseeing places. The room is always very clean. And the room atmosphere is good, we love the massage chair, after a full day city walk, we need that! :-) Everybody we meet at Reception is sooooo nice, and even late night, if we need any service, they would help us out. At this hotel, you feel Japanese standard service and hospitality. You would love it here like we do.

For those planning a self-guided trip to Tokyo, I highly recommend buying a JR Pass. It's incredibly worthwhile! We arrived at the airport late that night, and after exchanging our physical tickets at the East Japan Service Center, we were able to immediately book our train tickets online for the next morning's departure from Tokyo via the Narita Express. With the physical ticket, you can reserve various reserved seats at any JR station – it's really quick and convenient! We flew from the airport to Tokyo, then transferred to a limited express train to Mito City – simple and convenient… The only downside is that there's no Chinese name lookup for station names; you have to search for the Japanese station names online and then input them, which took a little time, but the overall experience was great!

We queued at the JR Green Counter at Narita Airport to exchange our tickets. We asked the female employee scanning the queue to confirm if we could exchange our tickets there, and she said yes. However, when we got to the counter, the staff said we couldn't exchange them there and had to go to the JR East Travel Service Center across the street. But that center didn't open until 8:30 AM, so we had to wait in line again. We saw many other travelers walking around in queues like us. Fortunately, the staff at the JR East Travel Service Center were very efficient and quickly processed our ticket exchange. They even asked if we had our travel plans and helped us reserve seats for our flights from the airport to Tokyo Station and from Tokyo Station to Echigo-Yuzawa, which was very thoughtful. The ticket price was excellent value, and we were generally satisfied, although the ticket exchange process was a bit confusing.

This is a fantastic ski Airbnb, located just across the street from Kagura. The Airbnb has separate wet and dry areas, and the functional areas are well-designed, including dining, relaxation, and entertainment areas. The breakfast selection is plentiful, enough to give you an energy boost on a ski day morning. You can buy ski passes and onsen (hot spring) passes at the hotel. There's a fusion American restaurant nearby; I ate there twice and the food was quite good. I also recommend buying some food from Echigo-Yuzawa Station to bring over for dinner; the Airbnb can heat it up. Trains from Yuzawa Station are limited, so check the schedule in advance. If you plan to eat in the station's commercial area in the evening, you'll need to queue with the skiers for buses, which can be time-consuming.

We booked a tatami room, which you need to lay yourself, but you can lie flat after laying it. It's great to have a private bathroom in a homestay! The proprietress is warm and thoughtful, and the ski drying area is reasonably set up, which is great for skiing parents and children! It takes about 15 minutes by taxi from Echigo Yuzawa.

I stayed for one night and two days, with breakfast included but no dinner. There are baths on the first and third floors. The first-floor bath has a larger washing area, so it's best to wash there and then relax in the bath on the third floor. From the third-floor open-air bath, you can see the mountains towards Echigo-Yuzawa Station. On a clear day, the mountains are impressively large, and even on a cloudy day, it feels like you're in the clouds, making it enjoyable regardless of the weather. Since dinner wasn't included, I asked for recommendations for nearby restaurants and was given two suggestions. I visited one of them and was very satisfied with the dinner. Breakfast consisted of Koshihikari rice cooked in a pot and local side dishes. These included stir-fried wheat gluten and bracken, kirizai (a type of vegetable dish), and spicy chili miso. The rice was especially delicious. After breakfast, there was a coffee service in the lounge, which I enjoyed at my leisure. The inn is large, so the interior is spacious, and the view of the courtyard is also nice. After check-out, I was able to leave my luggage, which was very helpful as I could sightsee hands-free until my Shinkansen train.

The interior had a calm, traditional Japanese atmosphere, allowing for a truly relaxing stay. The hot spring, in particular, was wonderful and really helped to soothe away the fatigue from my travels. For dinner, we were served dishes featuring Niigata's local ingredients, and the deliciousness of the rice was especially memorable. The staff's polite and attentive service was also very pleasant. This is definitely a place I'd want to stay at again if I visit Yuzawa in the future.

The hotel's location is very convenient, not far from the train station, and the free shuttle bus service is available throughout the day, which made our travels so easy. We stayed in a Japanese Style Room, and it was incredibly spacious at 50 square meters. It was perfect for our family of three (parents and our 3-year-old child). There was plenty of room for our little one to run around and play comfortably without feeling cramped. The private snow park at the hotel is fantastic, especially for young children. Our child had so much fun playing in the snow, and it felt very safe and family-friendly. We are truly impressed with the hospitality and the facilities. The hotel's location is excellent. You can see the Yuzawa Grand Hotel nestled on the mountainside right from the west exit of Echigo-Yuzawa Station. It's about a 5-minute walk, though the large, steep slope at the hotel entrance requires careful walking, especially after a snowfall in Echigo-Yuzawa and when pushing luggage, to avoid slipping. We booked a Japanese/Western-style room, and the hotel gave us a room on the 7th floor of the South Wing, directly facing the station. The views were absolutely superb, especially the distant mountains after a snowfall – truly the 'Snow Country' I'd imagined. The room had two beds, and a futon was set up in the Japanese-style area, making it perfect for families with two children on a ski trip. There are two onsen (hot springs) on the hotel's first floor, and the open-air bath is particularly memorable, especially when you catch a heavy snow while soaking outdoors. An unforgettable experience! The hotel exudes the charm of an established onsen hotel, with attentive and meticulous service. Yukata and towels are changed daily. Although the facilities show their age, they are still perfectly functional, especially the in-room mini-bar/sink area, which was convenient for eating bentos in the room after skiing each day. Oh, we didn't book breakfast or dinner; we got all our meals from the convenience store inside the station and nearby restaurants. The hotel's excellent service was also evident in many small details, such as the free rain boots at the entrance and the weather forecasts for various ski resorts. I particularly recommend the ski rental shop right outside the hotel; they have a great attitude, reasonable prices, and the ski gear and helmets are all very new. In summary, it was a very satisfying stay in every aspect. If I come back to Echigo-Yuzawa during the ski season, I will definitely stay here again!
