Staying at GPCH was such a wonderful experience! Here are some of the moments worth mentioning. I enjoyed using the bathtub. It was clean (no water spots or dust), easy to fill, and I love the deep curve shape that it had. It is one of the better-shaped bathtubs that I’ve seen. Loving the Appelles toiletries. They smelled good and always remind me of Australia and their lovely range of eco-friendly bathroom products such as Aesop, Ideology, Le Labo, and Appelles. It’s great that quite a number of hotels use these products. Bathrobe was comfy too! Water pressure from the shower was fine for me, despite what some reviews may say of how it constantly changes. It didn't for me. I love the iconic fleur-de-lis pattern of the bathroom/room flooring (also seen at other parts of the hotel), and optional see-through bathroom to bedroom view that makes it so easily recognisable when you see them on socials. Optional being, you can draw the automated blinds if need be. The iconic design of the flooring, to me also feels very classy and gives it a very English, almost Jane Austen, aristocratic feel. Touch control panel for lighting/ac in the room was easy to use. Though perhaps I do wish there was a way to reduce the ac to below 20. Throughout my stay, it only fell to 19.6 once before constantly rising to 20-21 degrees. It definitely felt hotter than that. Room, furnishings and amenities (such as the fridge, kettle, water machine) were very clean, not dusty, and also didn’t look as weathered despite its age. I did however find an unused disposable eye drop under the bed as I was making it, perhaps dropped by a previous guest. Pillows provided were alright for me too, and I didn’t require any from changes from the plethora of pillows on offer on their pillow menu. I am also glad that the hotel did not have one of those decorative cushions that no one actually uses, so there was no need to put those aside. I enjoyed the crystal club privileges very much! Level 9 was very peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was absolutely lovely! The muffins that came with the eggs benedict were so melt-in-your-mouth soft, I can never look at another muffin the same way again. I will dream about those muffins forever! Also love their range of cheeses (blue, camembert, brie) which was there almost throughout the day. Cheese is life! The alcohol range for their evening cocktail was alright too, allowing us to make either a gin and tonic, rum with coke, or have drinks neat like a vodka neat. Pool at Level 4 was great! It’s not often that a pool has a nice view, and sometimes not even some of the 5-star hotels have a good pool view. But GPCH does! The pool overlooks the temple-like roof Chinese Chamber of Commerce building, which gives it rather quaint, tranquil and iconic look. An unmatched view so to speak, accentuated by the hotel’s luscious flora and nature decor. A Shangri-La sort of feel! I love it! Roof top of the hotel offered a nice view of Esplanade and MBS, which was nice, though I still feel the pool is a nicer place to chill at! The staff of GPCH are super friendly and I am forever grateful for their hospitality! From the housekeeping team, to the very attentive and friendly folks at Level 9 lounge. Check in and check out was a breeze too! It was nice to finally stay at GPCH albeit for only night, having only recced the rooms or sat at the lobby before, due to work. It is understandable why it’s been used by many artist management for their groups and bands. Each stay feels like you’ve entered in a private club. Beautifully quiet. The hotel is dignified and polished in a way that makes it a comfortable stay that you will remember in the long run. It does not stand out loudly among its neighbours, but it is in its hidden aspects where you find its gems. Where the words more is less and less is more, this rings especially true for GPCH. Its quiet, introspective detail to human needs is what makes them shine! Thank you Jeane, Audrey and team fo

The room was quite spacious. Our Executive King room had a balcony with a perfect view of the Marina Bay Sands and the bay. The king bed plus the sofa bed was more than enough for three adults. Breakfast was quite good with a wide selection, but make sure to go early (after 8:30 AM, there's usually a queue). The hotel is connected to Millenia Walk and Suntec City via a skybridge, so there are plenty of options for dining, drinks, and shopping.

The location is excellent! It's a 5-minute walk to the Merlion and also a 5-minute walk to the MRT station. The staff outside are very enthusiastic about helping with taxis, and I didn't feel any discrimination based on skin color at all. The hotel itself is a tourist attraction in Singapore. The rooms are spacious, and the price is quite reasonable compared to similar hotels. There's a wide variety of breakfast options, and dining outdoors (though it can be a bit hot) offers absolutely stunning views. We were given a S$100 voucher but unfortunately didn't get to use it due to time constraints. Overall, our two-night stay was a great experience!

I stayed here for one night on a business trip, as it was conveniently located. It seems to be a hotel with a design aesthetic from the '50s; the decor is very thoughtfully put together, like a pipe organ with a hollow center. All the corridors overlook the lobby below, similar to the Legendale Hotel in Beijing, creating a beautiful sense of intricate, overlapping complexity. The location is excellent, just a seven or eight-minute walk to the Merlion. From Jubilee Bridge, you can gaze at Marina Bay Sands and the entire Marina Bay area. The lobby is on the fourth floor. The elevators are quiet and fast, and the front desk offers Chinese-speaking service. The Wi-Fi is speedy. Although the windows provide excellent sound insulation, with Marina Bay Sands and Marina Bay right outside, it's inevitable that it gets a little noisy at night. Overall, it was a satisfactory one-night stay. I didn't have time to experience breakfast or the pool.

The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from Havelock MRT station, offering convenient transportation and a variety of dining options, from seafood restaurants to budget fast-food joints. It's also not far from Chinatown and Orchard Road. The room size is decent, which is quite good for Singapore. The hotel's exterior looks grand, but the interior of the rooms is a bit old-fashioned. Particularly, there's only a bathtub, which even has long-standing water stains. The room amenities are on par with a basic budget hotel.

First off, the location is great, right above a subway station. We didn't get a high-floor room, though I think if I had asked at check-in, I might have been able to switch. But we arrived quite late and the whole family was tired. On the second evening, we returned to the room around 9 PM and found the bathtub hadn't been cleaned properly. Housekeeping came very quickly, and they even sent up a bottle of red wine and a doll for the child, which was a great gesture. So, even though we weren't on a high floor, the view was still lovely, and we'd definitely stay here again. The only downsides are that the water pressure is quite low, and there's no separate shower stall; you have to shower in the bathtub, which isn't very convenient for young kids to get in and out of.

The room isn't very spacious; it felt a bit cramped for two people with two suitcases. However, a big plus is that the bathroom sink is outside the main toilet area, which is convenient for two people to get ready simultaneously. It's also great that no adapter is needed for the outlets. On the downside, only one side of the bed has an outlet, so you have to charge devices at the desk. Overall, it's suitable for short stays. The front desk is on the first floor. The female staff members speak fluent English and provide excellent service. When checking in, remember that the hotel sends a booking code to your email; I wasn't paying attention and was caught off guard. One male staff member at the front desk was incredibly rude. During our check-in, he kept repeating '15 minutes, 15 minutes.' We thought we might be interrupting him, so we asked a female staff member for help instead. Less than five minutes later, another non-Chinese female guest checked in, and his attitude completely changed – he was all smiles and immediately answered her questions. It felt like the '15 minutes' was just an excuse to turn us away. Be careful when checking in, and don't let people like him ruin your mood. The second floor has a lounge and common area with a refrigerator (including ice), a sink, a toaster, tea bags, coffee packets, and more, which is convenient for relaxing after check-out. Comparatively, for the same price, you could find similar hotels in Singapore.

I stayed at Lyf Funan Singapore for 2nights as a business traveller. The design is fun and colorful, not your typical hotel vibe. The room is compact but works fine, with a private bathroom, and the sink is outside the bathroom which is actually quite convenient. I stayed in a standard room—it’s okay for couples or friends. The hotel has more of a co-living feel. There’s a shared kitchen, dining area, and even a small workout corner, so it feels more social than a normal hotel. Breakfast was a bitsimple with limited options, just a few simple dishes and some bakery items. I’d recommend skipping it and eating outside instead. Location is definitely a big plus. It’s inside Funan Mall, super convenient for shopping and food. You can also easily walk to places like Fort Canning Park (right across the road), Clarke Quay, and Merlion Park. Overall, nice stay if you like modern design and a lively vibe—just don’t expect too much from the breakfast.

The room size was decent, and the view from the window was okay, looking out onto the hotel's pool. The hotel's location is convenient, not far from Merlion Park, and transportation is easily accessible. We didn't try the hotel breakfast because we wanted to experience local specialty restaurants. One minor issue was the toilet seat in the bathroom – it lacked a soft-close mechanism, so it made a loud noise when lowered, requiring you to hold it down manually.

Truly enjoyed my staycation at the Parkroyal Beach Hotel. It was strategically located opposite the Kampung Glam, Arab street area where you can find lots of eateries. Specifically the famous blanco court fish and prawn noodles; lots of Middle East, Mediterranean food as well. If you are a coffee lover, the Coffee Donkee is the go to place. All in all I had a satisfying staycation. I would recommend anyone to stay here during their visit to Singapore, be it a tourist or a local.

The Ritz's hardware is far superior to its service. The hotel views are also fantastic, and the breakfast offers a wide variety worth trying. Although there were some unpleasant incidents with the hotel's service this time, I want to give a huge shout-out to the Trip.com customer service team. They continuously followed up, handled, and coordinated everything efficiently and empathetically, leading to a perfect resolution. Thank you, Trip.com.

Sentosa Island Singapore|4.46km from downtown
I wasn't entirely happy with the price. I booked it for over 5000, but on the day of check-in, it was over 4000. Even though I had a refundable booking, there was a price difference of over 1000. I didn't even check at check-in... However, the staff were all excellent, from the front desk to room service, everyone was very welcoming. Hearing Chinese made me feel right at home! The room facilities are a bit dated. The toilet in my room was broken, but thankfully still usable... On the bright side, the snacks and drinks were complimentary, which was a nice touch. The hotel breakfast was good and suited a Chinese palate. I even wondered if it was run by Cantonese people because I saw the Big Rooster Bowl! For those heading to the island later, you can take the mini-train to the Bay Station, then switch to Bus B for two stops. Hope this helps!

This hotel, being a Far East property, was incredibly convenient for visiting Sentosa. The Sentosa Express monorail is directly opposite the hotel, and they even provide free passes to the island. The hotel was very clean. We checked in at 10 PM and left early the next morning to explore Batam Island, so we didn't get a chance to see the pool. However, the hotel was so nice; they even gave us a welcome package with three small chocolate cakes, a little bear, and a bag of cashews!

Had a really great stay here — the whole place feels like a jungle resort with lots of greenery, super relaxing vibes. We even got upgraded to a Suite, which was such a nice surprise and definitely made the stay even better. The pool was really nice (and quite deep at 2.5m), great if you actually want a proper swim. Breakfast spread was big and everything we tried was really good. Also want to mention Julie at breakfast — she was so lovely and friendly, really made our mornings nicer.

Marina Bay Singapore|0.44km from downtown
This hotel was the best choice of our 6-day trip to Singapore. The view from the room was especially beautiful, directly facing Marina Bay Sands. The hotel thoughtfully prepared Easter gifts for our child and also arranged a little surprise for us, helping us celebrate a truly unforgettable anniversary. Our whole family agrees that we will definitely come back again next time.

Because of the Home Improvement Programme, my daughter & I decided to stay here. We enjoyed our stay. Getting halal food was not an issue for us. Going to the Sultan Mosque was just a walk away. Amenities in the hotel are good except that there is no bidet spray available in the toilet. A special mention to one of the cleaners, Mr Raihan, he did a good job in maintaining the cleanliness of the room. He provided me with my requests for extra floor towels, toilet papers, etc. I managed to see him during his cleaning duty before my check out and thanked him. Overall my stay together with my daughter had been a pleasant one. Will definitely recommend the Serviced Suite to friends.

Orchard Road Singapore|3.66km from downtown
The location is excellent, right on Orchard Road. There's a bus stop directly outside, and the MRT is less than a 5-minute walk away. It's surrounded by large shopping malls, with ION diagonally opposite and Watsons right across the street, where you can buy medicine. Ya Kun Kaya Toast, a Singaporean breakfast favorite, is just a few steps from the MRT exit. It's super convenient to get to all the major attractions, and there's even an affordable supermarket opposite. The hotel facilities are great, it's very clean, and the environment is five-star, plus it offers excellent value for money. Prices were very friendly during the off-peak season! The rooms are much more spacious than other hotels. The service is very attentive, and you can store your luggage. I'll definitely stay here again next time, I'm extremely satisfied.

Pretty much as described online, the location is decent, about a 5-minute walk from the subway station, and there are plenty of restaurants and small supermarkets nearby! The service was just okay, mainly because of the language barrier, which made communication a bit difficult.

Very welcoming staffs! Specially Spencer and the other guy (indonesian) they are the one who we talked to during the checkin process. The rooms are spacious and they even figured out that there is a leak on our bathroom, without us knowing! So they called and changed our room (to a bigger one) yay us.

Harbourfront Singapore|3.39km from downtown
Travelodge Harbourfront is a practical option for travelers who value location and affordability. The room is admittedly quite small, but it works well for business stays or trips where you do not plan to spend much time indoors. The shower had strong water pressure, which was a nice plus, and the bed was comfortable enough for a good rest after a long day out. Breakfast could definitely be improved. The selection felt limited and leaned heavily toward less healthy processed items such as sausages. On one occasion, the fried chicken was also undercooked, which was disappointing. Overall, if you need convenient access to Sentosa and are traveling on a budget, this is still a good and convenient place to stay.
