The room was clean and the buffet dinner was excellent. The location is unbeatable, within walking distance to all major attractions. The room was tidy and quiet, and the front desk staff were very welcoming. This is my top choice for accommodation when visiting Singapore. Perfect location near downtown. The room is clean and quiet with great service. Highly recommend this Carlton Hotel.

The room was decent, comparable to a mid-range hotel like Ji Hotel or Atour in China. For the price in Singapore, it was alright. The service, however, was just okay, not particularly warm. When I arrived, no one helped with my luggage from the car, and when I mentioned I was in a hurry to check out, the front desk staff was unhurried and quite perfunctory. Interestingly, they were exceptionally enthusiastic with English-speaking foreigners. Perhaps many Chinese tourists stay here at this price point, leading to a noticeable difference in service attitude. I wouldn't have stayed here if my wife and kids hadn't changed their plans and returned to China unexpectedly.

I was quite anxious before my trip, worried about bad service or a poor room. However, as soon as I entered the lobby, someone immediately came to help with my luggage without any differential treatment, which instantly put me at ease. I had booked two months in advance, and at check-in, the front desk even specifically mentioned the requests I made in my booking email and assigned the room accordingly – truly excellent! The room was very clean and spacious; even with two 26-inch suitcases open, there was still plenty of room. The bedding didn't feel damp or anything, and I slept very comfortably until morning. The hotel's location is excellent; you can walk to several popular attractions nearby. Downstairs, there are plenty of dining options, and the metro and bus lines are also very convenient. I've already recommended it to friends, and if I visit Singapore again, I'll definitely choose this hotel.

Staying at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering for this trip to Singapore far exceeded my expectations! The building, like an urban oasis, is incredibly distinctive with lush greenery all around, offering a sense of tranquility amidst the bustling city. The location is superb, within walking distance to Chinatown and Clarke Quay, and incredibly convenient for subway travel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained; the rooftop infinity pool had an amazing vibe. All staff members were polite, thoughtful, and promptly responsive. The food was exquisite and delicious. Whether for leisure sightseeing or urban exploration, this is an incredibly worthwhile hotel choice in Singapore. I will definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit to Singapore. Highly recommended!

If you're looking for a hotel with great value for money in downtown Singapore, this is the one to book without hesitation. I was traveling to Singapore with my child for a competition, and I spent a lot of time agonizing over which hotel to choose, feeling quite anxious after reading many reviews. We arrived at the hotel at 3 AM. The lobby is on the third floor, and from the moment we met the reception staff on the first floor, we had a wonderful experience. It's true that check-in at the front desk was a bit slow, but the Indian lady there had a translation app ready and communicated patiently with us. She wasn't impatient despite our limited English, so the slight delay was understandable. The room size exceeded my expectations, it was clean, and the facilities were great. The cleaning staff also spoke excellent Mandarin. The pool was comfortable, and the water was very clean – my child absolutely loved it. It's only 200 meters from City Hall MRT station, and the surrounding commercial area is very lively. Funan Mall is just 200 meters away, offering a wide variety of food, including many Chinese restaurants, so communication in Mandarin was never an issue. Old Hill Street Police Station is 200 meters away, and within 800-900 meters, you can reach the Merlion, Marina Square, Marina Bay Sands, and more. The superior location is undeniable. I especially want to thank the reception staff on the first floor (I apologize for forgetting their name). My child needed daily injections, and the medication required refrigeration in the hotel's common fridge. Every day when I went to retrieve the medicine, they greeted me with the warmest smiles and proactive assistance. Although there was a language barrier, it didn't hinder our seamless communication at all. Based on my experience, I didn't encounter any of the issues mentioned in many of the hotel's reviews. My stay was a perfect 100 points, and if I ever go to Singapore again, I will definitely book this hotel without a second thought.

Overall, I'm quite satisfied. The room size isn't huge, but the bathroom is a bit larger (the room feels similar to an Atour or Hanting in China). I booked a king room, and I was with my two children, so three of us in total. When I checked in, I requested an extra bed, which was provided free of charge – a big thumbs up! There were a few small mildew spots on the shower caddy and floor tiles, but it was acceptable. The hotel pool is really nice, with pleasant views. You'll need to speak English at the front desk (I didn't encounter anyone who spoke Chinese during check-in or check-out). There are bars and several restaurants from the first to the third floor, so the amenities are quite comprehensive. We had the buffet dinner, which was pretty good. The service attitude was excellent, so overall, I'm satisfied. I'd recommend choosing a higher floor to get a better view of the Burj Al Arab and the Ferris wheel. We were on the 5th floor, and the view was obstructed.

The environment is beautiful, and the service is excellent 👍🏻. The breakfast spread is rich with many choices. Upon check-in, we received a S$100 dining credit, which we used for dinner, and the food quality was great, definitely five-star standard. To celebrate my daughter's birthday, they specially delivered a cake and fruits. The chocolate cake was delicious and not too sweet, tasting very natural. They also arranged a room upgrade, and the room was very spacious and comfortable. This hotel is absolutely fantastic, and the location is super convenient. You can reach the Merlion via the underground tunnel or directly across the street, and it's also close to the Skyline. You can walk to many tourist attractions without needing a car, exploring the waterfront. In the evenings, there's live music. The only minor complaint would be some renovation and wall-turning noise in the mornings, but they have large Dyson fans for ventilation, and we usually go out in the afternoons, so it wasn't a major issue. By the time we returned to the hotel in the evening, the smell had disappeared, leaving the air fresh! I will definitely stay here again and recommend it on my next visit to Singapore 👍🏻! Thank you for the hotel's special arrangements 🫶🏻

Traveling with family, the hotel's location was unexpectedly excellent. It's right next to a large shopping mall that has a Pop Mart where you can find many limited edition items. It's also only a 5-minute walk from Fort Canning Park. While the room was small, it was very clean, making it perfect for those with high hygiene standards. My stay at Ascott Raffles Place Singapore was an overall excellent experience and I'd highly recommend it! First off, the location is fantastic, right in the heart of Singapore's financial district. It's just a few minutes' walk to the MRT station, making it super convenient to get to Merlion Park, Marina Bay, and Clarke Quay. Since we were only staying for one day, we had all our meals at the Lau Pa Sat hawker centre, which is just behind the hotel. It's perfect for both business travelers and tourists. The room was spacious and comfortable, with full amenities including a kitchen, washing machine, and dryer – just like being at home. The bed was soft and comfy, and the room was impeccably clean and tidy. The only minor downside was that there were no USB charging ports in the room, only three-pin power sockets. Overall, from the accommodation environment, facilities, and location to the quality of service, everything exceeded my expectations. I had a wonderful stay, and next time I'm in Singapore, I will definitely choose Ascott Raffles Place Singapore again and recommend it to my friends and family!

Facilities: The room was very small, not big enough to open two suitcases, but it did have a mini-fridge, kettle, and hairdryer. There was a microwave on each floor in the hallway, and you could get drinking water in the lobby on the first floor. Cleanliness: I stayed for two days, and there was no housekeeping service. It seems they only clean every three days. The bathroom trash can was especially small and overflowed after two days. Environment: The room was very damp, and there was a strong musty smell every time I entered. I had to turn on the air conditioning to air it out. Service: The taxi dropped us off directly on the second floor of the hotel. Self check-in was a bit confusing and there was no guidance to go to the first floor for assistance. As a result, our two rooms weren't even on the same floor. I'd recommend going directly to the front desk on the first floor for check-in; they speak basic Chinese. The room truly was super small. The hotel facilities are comparable to a budget hotel in China. They don't provide bottled water or disposable slippers. Singapore prices are definitely high; you could get a much better place in Kuala Lumpur for half the price. The hotel's location is excellent, very convenient for the subway and taxis. There are many eateries nearby. Ya Kun Kaya Toast had a long queue in the morning but was less busy in the afternoon. The Wok Hey chili pan mee next door was pretty good and suitable for Chinese palates. There's a small bar on the first floor with live music at night, creating a nice atmosphere. Overall, it's suitable for young travelers but not ideal for those traveling with children or the elderly.

lyf Funan Singapore boasts an unbeatable location. The hotel is situated entirely within Funan Mall, with seamless underground access to City Hall MRT station, just a three to four-minute walk away, protected from the elements. Merlion Park, Marina Bay, Clarke Quay, and Fort Canning Park are all within walking distance, making returns after a day of sightseeing effortless. Downstairs, you'll find restaurants and supermarkets, covering all your dining and shopping needs. The convenience for getting around is top-notch. The hotel's service is gentle and attentive. The 24-hour front desk staff (including a helpful lady who speaks Chinese) are warm and enthusiastic. Check-in is efficient and smooth, and they patiently answer questions about directions and attractions. Luggage storage and various other requests are handled with care and discretion. The overall facilities are modern and well-equipped, with a simple yet contemporary design. The rooms are clean and tidy, feeling very much like a home away from home. Public areas include a spacious lounge, a shared kitchen, a self-service laundry and drying room, and a gym, making it comfortable for extended stays. The high-speed WiFi is stable throughout, and the rooms are fully equipped, balancing trendy design with practical experience. Having visited Singapore multiple times, I always choose to stay here. The excellent location, attentive service, and comprehensive amenities make the entire trip exceptionally worry-free and comfortable.

The hotel's exterior is quite striking; I spotted it right after exiting the Tanjong Pagar MRT station. There's a Mr. Coconut in the mall area of the MRT station. I checked in on the 12th floor. The open-concept lobby is comfortably furnished with complimentary water and coffee machines. The room is small, not brand new but quite tastefully decorated, and located quite close to the surrounding skyscrapers. The neighborhood is very convenient for daily needs, with Chinatown and Maxwell Food Centre within walking distance. Behind the hotel, there's a FairPrice supermarket, and an adjacent building also houses a food court. Nearby, you'll find Ya Kun Kaya Toast and another FairPrice Finest in one of the buildings. There are plenty of dining options. There's also a small pocket park nearby. Downsides: I noticed some marks on the duvet. The air conditioning was too loud at night, so I'd recommend bringing earplugs. The buildings are very close to each other; you can see people in the opposite building, so there's pretty much no point in opening the curtains.

The location is impeccable; the subway is right outside the door, making it incredibly convenient for exploring city attractions. The room was spacious and clean, and it even came with a rooftop pool. While the facilities are a bit dated, the excellent transport links and value for money more than make up for it. The only minor downside was the breakfast, which had a somewhat limited variety and no special dishes. Overall, I'd still highly recommend it.

Came to Singapore for a business trip over the weekend and chose this hotel. Our work location was close to both Bugis and Lavender, so this hotel was quite suitable for us. The price for a 4-star hotel was also very good value for money. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

The pool is great in a hot weather like Sg. Feel refresh whilst dip in pool or stay at pool side to chill on a weekend afternoon as an alternative to shopping in Orchard. Rather conveniently located, a short walk to everywhere we want. The Clarke Quake is only minutes walking and provides a wonderful evening for chilling out dining drinking and chatting with friends.

Marina Bay Singapore|0.99km from downtown
My stay at Marina Bay Sands Singapore was absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend it! The hotel's location is excellent, directly connected to a mall, and within walking distance of famous attractions like Gardens by the Bay and Merlion Park, making getting around incredibly convenient. Check-in was efficient, and the staff were warm and professional, providing attentive service throughout, truly reflecting a five-star hotel experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a modern design and immaculate cleanliness. The bed was soft, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a wonderfully comfortable night's sleep. What truly impressed me most was the room's view – whether it was the city skyline or the Marina Bay night view, both were absolutely stunning. The hotel's infinity pool definitely lives up to its reputation; the views are unforgettable and it's an absolute must-visit spot when in Singapore. The breakfast spread was extensive, with a great variety of both Western and Asian options, all of which tasted delicious. Overall, everything from the environment and facilities to the service was impeccable. It was a very enjoyable and memorable stay. If I ever visit Singapore again, I will definitely choose this hotel, and I'll be recommending it to all my friends and family!

The hotel's location is excellent. The ground floor lobby has direct access to Raffles City, and the basement offers various dining options, including Ya Kun Kaya Toast, a supermarket, and direct access to City Hall MRT station. There's also a food court on the third floor, so if your stay doesn't include breakfast, you have a wide range of choices at Raffles City. The stunning Marina Bay Sands night view is right before your eyes, and St. Andrew's Cathedral is next door. Merlion Park is just a 10-minute walk away, and Clarke Quay is about 15 minutes on foot. The service was great; the room was cleaned daily, and our belongings were neatly arranged. They even prepared an extra bed for us in advance. The only downside was the absence of a minibar, which was a bit disappointing for the kids.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and spacious. The bed was incredibly comfortable, neither too firm nor too soft. The pool view was absolutely stunning. Its location near the subway and spa made it super convenient. The price was also reasonable. Highly recommended!

Coming from another hotel, I felt a significant downgrade. The room facing Marina Bay was a construction site (I refused a Marina Bay-facing room when I changed rooms later). There were very few Chinese-speaking staff, making communication difficult (despite many Chinese tourists now). The room was old and rundown. The first room I entered had a leak (it was repaired, but not properly). In the twin room, the nightstand wasn't between the two beds, and the staff said it was requested by the previous guest (but I didn't make that request!). After changing rooms, it was arranged normally. Later that night, I found a strip of light in the drawer that wouldn't turn off, but it was late so I just made do. For breakfast, you need to go early, otherwise, there's a long queue. It's very convenient for visiting nearby attractions. Initially, I couldn't connect my phone to the hotel's Wi-Fi, and it took a long time to resolve.

The room was spacious, and I got upgraded to a terrace room. The front desk staff spoke Chinese and were very nice. It's only a few minutes' walk to the beach, truly a vacation paradise. The beach was lively, with a good crowd but not overly packed – just right. There were people swimming, sunbathing, chatting, watching the sunset, playing beach volleyball, and more. The hotel breakfast was good with a wide variety, and you could even make your own noodles with an impressive selection of condiments and side dishes. The hotel also has wild peacocks; I even managed to snap a picture of a mother peacock resting with her chick. The only drawback is that the peacocks get really loud early in the morning, making it impossible to sleep in – you're practically guaranteed a 6 AM wake-up call from them! Overall, it was still pretty good. It's an 8-minute walk to Universal Studios. Definitely use Amap for navigation; Google Maps led me onto a reverse lane and under an overpass, adding a good 20 minutes to my walk – seriously!

Our original booking was for a deluxe garden room, but even before entering, the door was already very damp. Inside, there was a musty smell, and a lot of mold around the sink. Later, my husband went to the toilet and said there were many bugs... So he rushed to the front desk to report it... Afterward, they moved us to a larger room! But our family of three still felt a bit shaken... Although the lobby and pool are quite beautiful, we still won't be staying here again... We didn't even receive a complimentary greeting for our anniversary celebration... We had the highest expectations for this hotel, but it turned out to be the least satisfactory stay during our 9 days in Singapore, and the service was just mediocre! (The attached photos show the original room first, followed by the room we were moved to!)

I initially reserved the deluxe suite, which was advertised on Trip.com as having a river view. However, upon arrival, I discovered that only the premium suite offers a river view. The establishment graciously provided a complimentary upgrade, allowing us to enjoy a pleasant view during our brief staycation and celebration. Upon checking in, I noticed potato chips on the carpet, which accounts for the one-star deduction. The available amenities are somewhat limited, and it is important to note that breakfast is not served on public holidays or Sundays. Furthermore, children's amenities are minimal, contrary to the extensive list presented on Trip.com.

Had a pleasant one-night stay at M Social. The hotel has a very unique, trendy design that feels modern and fresh. The room was cozy, well-designed, and clean. It’s located in a great spot with easy access to nearby dining and attractions. Check-in was efficient, and the staff were friendly. A great choice if you’re looking for a stylish and comfortable stay in the city!

This was my first hotel in Singapore, and it wasn't too far from the airport. The hotel environment was great, and the service was warm and professional. The room was also quite good, clean and tidy. I was too tired from my flight that day to take pictures. The staff knew it was my birthday and had decorated the room with a cake beforehand, which was incredibly thoughtful. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I have the chance.

Great location situated right between Lavender and Bugis stations. It’s very convenient for traveling to Bugis for shopping or heading over to Chinatown. The room offered good value for money; it was reasonably sized and kept very clean. My only minor complaint is that the soundproofing could be better, as noise from hallway was audible. However, for a short one-night solo stay, it wasn't a major issue and I was generally satisfied.

I was back here after a while..there were some small changes here and there. Yes..keep it up for improvements! I requested for checking out at 1.00pm the next day and told the staff to take note so that their other staff would be aware as well. They said that it would be noted in the system. However, I still received a call just before 12 noon but I did not answer it as I was in the bathroom. Hmmm..oh well.. All else were acceptable for a short stay. Thank you.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The view from the room was absolutely beautiful and made the experience even more enjoyable. Everything was spotlessly clean, which really added to the comfort. The location is also perfect—very convenient and close to VivoCity and Sentosa, making it easy to visit Universal Studios and explore the area. Highly recommended for both leisure and convenience!
