Book for my kid and daddy for a ”men's” relaxing staycay.
My husband was pleasantly surprised with the room he gets. Very fortunately, the staff also gave them a high level room. My kid is the happiest as he gets all the views. We love the room layout as the kid can have waterplay by himself while he look in from the outside.
Breakfast room service is also wonderful and reasonably priced. Delicious food as well. Ordered for 9.30am and it came right before, allowing food to be fresh and ready to eat once our kid woke up.

You can walk about 1.5 km along the river to Clarke Quay, and even reach the National Gallery. The room itself was quite spacious, and I appreciated having purified drinking water. First off, the location is incredibly convenient. Getting around is a breeze, and we could walk to most attractions. Even after a concert at 11 PM, we could easily take the subway back, and the walk felt very safe. Secondly, the room was bigger than expected, which was a real treat in high-density Singapore. The facilities were new, and they provided complimentary bottled water. The front desk staff were absolutely wonderful – so warm and attentive. This hotel just looks amazing from the exterior and so we decided to give it a go despite the hefty price tag. The check-in experience was superb with Felicia - friendly, fast and efficient. She even offered us an extension on our check-out time (without our prompting) when hearing in passing that we have a late flight out.
The room was surprisingly tight and cramped. The outlook was good though - looking into greenery which this hotel prides itself on. All would have been well if not for the bathroom - the mosaic tiles in the shower recess hid a lot of mould and dirt. It felt very unclean, not because the cleaners do a bad job but simply the design does not warrant effective cleaning. The water pressure is very low - perhaps why there is no rain shower (not that it mattered to us) for such a supposedly top class hotel. The water trickles out from the water filter unit. Limited bench space for toiletries.
On closer look at the pool area, while having a spectacular outlook, it is again such a shame that similarly bad design or poor choice of material used, resulted in wear and tear being shown so much worst than otherwise. The supporting structure of the 'birdcage' cabanas that dips into the pool are badly eroded so it is not very pleasant when you are swimming near them.
I would love to say that I would be back, because the staff and location are amazing but unfortunately, for that price range, I see better value elsewhere.FromS$ 412

Worried about the bed type being decided at check-in, but luckily, I got the twin room I requested! Even though it was a late check-in in the middle of the night, I got a high-floor room with a nice view and it was so quiet – perfect. My husband and I stayed at Pan Pacific to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to our expectations.
The service was underwhelming from the start. The reception staff were not particularly approachable or welcoming, and we did not experience the level of hospitality we expected from a hotel of this standard.
Our arrival experience was also less than ideal. We parked in the hotel’s car park expecting direct lift access to the lobby, but there wasn’t one from the area we used. We had to carry our luggage up the escalator and walk through part of a restaurant before reaching the hotel lobby. This was inconvenient, especially with luggage, and not the first impression we had expected from a 5-star hotel.
One of our biggest concerns was the room amenities. When we called to request hot water, we were told to boil it ourselves using the in-room electric kettle. Normally, this would not have been an issue, except the kettle’s filter was rusty. We requested a replacement, but the second kettle was in a similar condition. This was disappointing and raised concerns about cleanliness.
Another minor disappointment was the lack of basic bathroom amenities. The room did not include a comb or shaver, and there was no information indicating whether these items were available upon request. While I understand that many hotels have adopted more sustainable practices by reducing single-use amenities, clearer communication or the option to request these essentials would have been appreciated, especially at a 5-star hotel.
The room was advertised as 46㎡, but it felt much smaller and more compact than we had expected.
On a positive note, the housekeeping team did a good job of keeping the room clean, and the 24-hour in-room dining was a definite highlight and very convenient. The Marina Bay view was pleasant, although it wasn’t particularly breathtaking.
Overall, there was nothing particularly memorable that made the stay feel like a luxury experience. Given Pan Pacific’s reputation, I expected much more. Having stayed at other 5-star hotels, I genuinely thought Pan Pacific would offer a better experience.
We did not feel that the overall stay justified the price we paid. The atmosphere felt rather ordinary, and the experience lacked the warmth, attentiveness, and attention to detail we were hoping for in a luxury hotel.
As this was meant to be a special anniversary getaway, it was disappointing that the experience fell short of our expectations. Everyone’s expectations are different, and others may have a better experience than we did. Unfortunately, based on our stay, we are unlikely to return and would consider other hotels for future occasions.FromS$ 599

This was a wonderful hotel. We were told we could upgrade to a river view with a balcony and an extra bed for an additional $60, or a bay view room for an additional $120, and we opted for the river view. From our room, we could enjoy the night view of Boat Quay, and in the evenings, we relaxed on the balcony. The pool gets a lot of sun during the day, and the umbrellas aren't very effective, so if you don't want to get a tan, you'll need to prepare accordingly. Nevertheless, swimming while sipping a Fullerton Sling was exceptional. The breakfast offered local dishes like Laksa and Nasi Lemak, and there was even ice cream, which delighted the kids. The room had a great view, with a triangular layout offering sea views from two sides, though my particular room didn't face the sea. The outdoor pool was comfortable and gave a strong resort vibe. Just a small suggestion: the birdcage in the lobby is too small, and the bird looks quite sad. Could it be released, or perhaps replaced with a larger cage? We stayed at this hotel for 14 days! The hotel's location is simply excellent, close to the metro, shops, and Chinatown with its many cafes and restaurants. The hotel itself is very beautiful and unique, full of greenery, with its own charisma and designer touches; it's very pleasant and clean. The rooms are wonderful and spacious (we stayed in a club room on the 25th floor), and we were especially pleased with the large wardrobe for clothes. Everything is thoughtfully designed for guests' convenience: a mini-kitchen with a kettle, coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, dishes, etc., several types of packaged tea and coffee replenished daily. The bathroom is large, with full-glass walls, a shower and a bathtub, and toiletries, creams, shampoos, and gels were refreshed every day! The bed in the room deserves a special mention; you wake up feeling completely refreshed, like a new person, and you just don't want to get out of it. The mattress is so incredibly comfortable and high that after a day of excursions and walks around the city, you fall asleep instantly and have wonderful dreams! The hotel staff is very pleasant, polite, and responsive, always ready to help you with any problems or questions that arise. We'd like to extend special thanks to Kalpana from the service staff, who was always smiling and answered all our questions and requests.
We visited all the attractions, shows, and parks, Universal Studios, shopping malls, and outlets. We walked almost all the streets of Singapore, both the city center and the outskirts, really immersing ourselves in the local life. We also frequently visited Sentosa Island to swim and sunbathe! Our vacation passed in the unforgettable atmosphere of a beautiful country and a wonderful hotel! After returning home, we wanted to come back to Singapore again, as we still have unfulfilled plans to visit nearby islands!

The room was quite spacious, and the accompanying picture shows the beautiful view from the window.
Facilities: Excellent and fully equipped.
Hygiene: Spotlessly clean with no unpleasant odors.
Environment: The hotel is located in a quiet area, very close to two MRT stations: Bencoolen and Bras Basah. Bus access is also extremely convenient; you can take buses 13, 1, or 167 directly to Merlion Park. Taxis are even easier.

The gym facilities were decent, and the location was good, but the overall facility looked older than I expected, and I don't think the facilities and room condition justified the price. My stay at Marina Bay Sands Singapore was absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend it!
The hotel's location is excellent, directly connected to a mall, and within walking distance of famous attractions like Gardens by the Bay and Merlion Park, making getting around incredibly convenient. Check-in was efficient, and the staff were warm and professional, providing attentive service throughout, truly reflecting a five-star hotel experience.
The room was spacious and comfortable, with a modern design and immaculate cleanliness. The bed was soft, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a wonderfully comfortable night's sleep. What truly impressed me most was the room's view – whether it was the city skyline or the Marina Bay night view, both were absolutely stunning.
The hotel's infinity pool definitely lives up to its reputation; the views are unforgettable and it's an absolute must-visit spot when in Singapore. The breakfast spread was extensive, with a great variety of both Western and Asian options, all of which tasted delicious.

Booked the room for the Marina Bay view, and got a room on the 34th floor. The Sands view was from the side, which was still pretty good. The twin room was perfectly fine for two adults and two kids. The hygiene was also decent. The only slight inconvenience was having to stand in the bathtub to shower. However, one thing I feel could be better compared to other places is that the minibar isn't free; we only got plain water. The room is quite basic and feels a little dated. It could definitely benefit from a refurbishment. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable and provided a good night’s sleep.
The infinity pool is fantastic, and I really enjoyed spending time there. There are also several other pools around the hotel, which is a nice touch and offers plenty of options for guests. However, some of the pools are surrounded by greenery and can be quite exposed to mosquitoes, so it’s a good idea to bring insect repellent.
A pleasant surprise during our stay was getting to see the helicopter carrying the SG flag fly past the hotel as part of the NDP Preview. It was an unexpected highlight and made the experience even more memorable.
What really stood out during my stay was the excellent service from the staff. Special thanks to the security officers, Muksin and David, who were exceptionally helpful, friendly, and informative throughout my stay. A special mention goes to Devi at the front desk. She was incredibly helpful and highly accommodating, facilitating an efficient check-in despite our early arrival.
The room was very spacious, well-maintained, and featured an amazing bathroom design. Our room was located on the second floor, however, please note that it did not offer a view as the windows were tinted.
The hotel’s proximity to Imbiah Station and the cable car station made commuting around the island effortless.

I stayed for 4 nights during my trip to Singapore and it was a truly satisfying experience.
The biggest advantage is definitely the location. It's just a few minutes' walk to Orchard Road and close to Orchard MRT, which made shopping and sightseeing incredibly convenient. There are also many shopping malls and great restaurants nearby, making it easy to get around.
The room was spacious and very clean, and the bed was so comfortable that I could relax easily every day. The room was well-maintained, and I appreciated the complimentary mini-bar, bottled water, and coffee.
Above all, the staff were incredibly friendly. From check-in to check-out, their responses were quick, and they always greeted me with a bright smile, making my stay very pleasant.
The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and I could see why the hotel's Carousel restaurant is so famous.
