Very close to the beach, the day before the hotel was very late at about nine o'clock, I fell asleep directly. I woke up in the morning and saw the blue sky and sea. I was in a very good mood. There seem to be many Russians in the hotel, and the restaurant also specially put a Russian menu. My favorite is the early morning pool, the private venue, casual swimming, the deepest is about two meters, great. The breakfast is also very good, except for the local curry, I can accept it, the papaya is very sweet. Be sure to stay for two more days next time.

Юлия ЗOur Sri Lankan vacation began in Mirissa and the Randiya Sea View Hotel. I was worried that our hotel was located right next to the road and would be noisy, but believe me, you'll hear more noise from the ocean waves, which we were absolutely delighted with. The reception staff was very friendly and kind. There's a swimming pool next to the hotel, which we really enjoyed. You can borrow large towels from reception and use them on the sun loungers by the pool. We were lucky enough to catch a gorgeous sunset from our room. A big plus of this hotel is its close proximity to the ocean, despite having to cross the road. We walked to Parrot Rock, which is very close, and Coconut Tree Hill is also within walking distance. There are many cafes with sun loungers along the coastline. We swam on the left side of the beach, closer to Parrot Rock, where the waves are calmer. The hotel has its own parking lot and a restaurant.

Guest UserWe stayed in this Guest House for 6 nights and then in other places in Sri Lanka, and I want to say that this is the best place of all that we visited. Very close to the sea, there is a cafe nearby. Initially, we were afraid of the noise from the road, but everything was great. We felt completely safe and were not afraid to leave valuables. Breakfasts were excellent and the coffee was super.

Absolutely stunning sea view hotel! I have to rave about the dinner – it was truly excellent! Breakfast, however, wasn't quite as impressive as dinner. The service was fantastic! And the toilet paper in the bathroom was the best quality we encountered throughout our entire trip to Sri Lanka!

A mini hotel with a very pleasant family couple of managers. Rooms are spacious, with air conditioning and fan, large shower rooms. There are balconies on the second floor.A delicious breakfast, 14 days of repeated none. Located on a hill, so the ocean is always light breeze. A little far from the center, so quiet, monkeys and pawlines run. Three beaches with different infrastructure, two family cafes with local home kitchens and juices are available on foot. We really liked it.

Anonymous UserI had an absolutely wonderful stay at Pandanus Beach Resort & Spa, so much so that I ended up extending by two extra nights. I also invited a friend along so they could experience it as a romantic getaway weekend break, and it truly was—wonderful to experience everything through a “rose-coloured lens.”
While the resort is undeniably romantic, the real highlight for us was the ocean and beach itself. We were up early to frolic in the sea at sunrise, then we spent unhurried time strolling the shoreline, walking the beach and soaking up the calming atmosphere. We also loved popping over to a nearby beach lunch restaurant, then returning for more time in the sand.
And it wasn’t just the scenery—there were also local puppies that made the whole experience feel even more special. We ended up playing with them, laughing, and getting thoroughly covered in sand, which made the days feel playful, personal, and unforgettable.
Overall, Pandanus Beach Resort & Spa feels like a genuine romantic couples paradise—especially if you’re the kind of couple (or couple-at-heart) who wants your weekend to be all about ocean magic, slow beach days, and shared moments. 💗🌊🐾

My wife and I stayed here during our vacation in Sri Lanka, choosing it because of the high Google ratings. The location really impressed us. The hotel is literally a step away from the beach and less than five minutes’ walk to town, which made it very convenient. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the beach and listening to the waves was easily the best part of the stay.
The lobby was simple but acceptable, and there is a seafood restaurant right next to the hotel.
At check-in, there was a small hiccup. I booked through Trip.com, but they couldn’t find my booking at first. After about ten minutes, they managed to sort it out and confirmed that the booking came via Agoda. The receptionists were friendly and welcoming, even offering us a drink on arrival.
Our room on the second floor had a great view of the sea. The shower had good water pressure, although the bathroom could use better ventilation. The toiletries seemed diluted, so we ended up using our own.
Unfortunately, the air conditioning became a real problem. It leaked so badly that the room flooded twice, soaking my shoes. Despite my request for a pail to manage the water, they initially only gave floor mats, which was very frustrating. By the time they finally sent a pail, it was too late. We barely slept that night because of the constant dripping sound.
Overall, the location and friendliness of the staff were strong points, but the poor handling of the air conditioning issue really spoiled our experience.
