We had such a wonderful stay at The Pearl South Pacific Resort! My boys had an amazing time – from the pool to the beach and all the little activities, there was never a dull moment. The staff were welcoming and the atmosphere made it so easy to relax and enjoy our holiday.
Everything about our stay was great, except for the internet connection, which could definitely be improved. Other than that, it was a fantastic experience for the whole family, and we’d love to come back again!” 🌴☀️💦
Where do you start. Greeted us with sincerity and had bn upgraded. The Bures were beautiful, everything you need. But could have used a bigger fridge .Gardens were immaculate. Staff were amazing, kind, genuinely friendly. Went out of their way to know our names. At dinner we were welcomed with their welcome song. We stayed twice. We had already booked our timeshare for our second week and were very sad to leave. All the staff came together to sing Fijis good bye song ‘Isa Lei’ which brought tears to our eyes. Only spent three nights at our timeshare and rang Crusoes to say we were coming back. They welcomed us back with open arms. Snorkeling was great. Activities were pre organized for the next day. We loved every moment and we will def be coming back next year. We made lifelong friends
Small and beautiful hotel. The aroma of fresh orchids is everywhere.
Sitting in the jungle, waking up in the morning in the birdsong and seeing the Milky Way at night.
Very relaxed and healing.
We chose to stay here for one night as a transit, which helped given our flight was delayed and we were travelling with a toddler. We waited for 30 mins for the free shuttle as we didn’t know we were waiting in the wrong area. They didn’t have a driver waiting with a sign and they didn’t communicate with help desk (we contacted help desk to call the hotel to let them know we arrived) about clear instructions where to meet. Waiting with a toddler wasn’t fun, so would appreciate if you had a driver waiting or check on flight status, despite delay - as I provided them the details or wrote in the email to wait straight ahead, not where the taxis were waiting.
Hotel was a few minutes drive from airport. Room was spacious, shower was ok, bed was ok (sheets need bleach as there were old - not fresh dirty marks on it), they didn’t provide free water or filtered water, so we had to buy water. Breakfast was a fair spread. The playground looked great for kids/ toddler but it was raining so we couldn’t use it. Simple things (free water, better communication with shuttle, cleaner sheets) could have improved the experience and that’s why I’m providing this rating,
We have a happy stayed from 1st of August to 13th in Hideaway, then we went to Pacific harbour for two nights and back to Hideaway 15th to 22nd, we were so excited to back, we arrived about 12PM, my wife had car sick, we asked if can check in earlier, the reception girl answered:check in 2 o'clock! Even the room was ready, my wife needed to sit at reception sleeping on my shoulder .We understood the policy, but just felt so cold !
My flight reached late at night. I checked in after 10pm. No one was there to guide or help with the luggage. Had difficulties looking for my room. Was told by an employee that my room was upstairs so had to go up the stairs with my 20kg back, 7 kg carry on and my handbag, only to be told by a guest that it was downstairs. I was frustrated and exhausted from my long flight from Australia. The guest took me downstairs to my room. Thank God for his help. The hotel was nice, except for their services, other things were good.
This hotel is super conveniently located, literally just a 5-minute walk from the port where you can catch boats to the Yasawa Islands. The room itself is large and spacious. Unfortunately, the hotel doesn't have a laundry service (you can send clothes out for cleaning, but it takes a few days, so if you're only staying one night, you won't be able to get laundry done).
Very friendly people, very welcoming and peaceful.
Food are so delicious.
I would recommend it to anyone who wants to be free from stress to visit Duadua resort.
The room was clean and comfortable. I stayed in a villa, so there were a lot of locks, which was confusing. The back door was out of place and couldn't be opened or closed.
The sea is shallow and very good for walking! The staff were also friendly. It was wonderful to have a welcome drink while watching the sunset.
It's a shame that the access is not good, but it's worth staying!
I told them that I couldn't eat breakfast the next day because of a remote island tour I had booked, so they gave me a lunch box. In the morning, when I went to the restaurant to get my lunch box, the chef didn't understand what I said, so he made it for me in a hurry. There was only enough for four people instead of five, but I was grateful that they made it early in the morning because I had asked for something.
A very nice resort. Located next to the ocean so the view is very beautiful. The facility is clean and the price is affordable and reasonable. I would stay here again if I come back to Fiji. It’s 20-30mins away from Suva. I came alone but it’s a good hotel for Families too

GGuest UserThe customer service at Nalagi Hotel was amazing from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to help us with taxis and directions, and the rooms were immaculate with fresh towels and daily cleaning. We absolutely loved Dongsheng's Chinese Restaurant downstairs and ended up eating there for our entire trip. A perfect stay with wonderful hospitality!
AaptrkWe had such a lovely stay at Outrigger. It was just the break we needed. The food is good and the drinks are decent. The prices were better than I was expecting. We ended up not doing a package and spent far less than we would have done on a package. Loved the adult pool, the only pain is that it sometimes closes early to set up for weddings.

GGuest UserUnfortunately this hotel didn't feel very five star. Of the Denarau resorts, it definitely had the least impressive building, with a small and underwhelming lobby. The hotel is spread over a significant distance so requires small buggies to get around, but the path isn't big enough for both pedestrians and buggies so you're constantly having to move aside for buggies if on foot. It's a bit annoying to get around and there's no shelter on the path so it was extremely hot.
The staff were all friendly and helpful, so can't fault that. However, the housekeeping wasn't exactly stellar as we had constant problems with towels being taken and not replaced and nobody coming when we rang to ask for more. We ended up having to go find a cart ourselves to get another set. We also once were given a dirty towel, and they left a cleaning rag in the bath.
The pools are fine, it's a series of smallish ones, so no big swimming area if you want to actually swim. The pool hours are only until 7pm, and you have to return the towels by then or you get charged. The beach is a nice walk with some pretty views.
Breakfast was a bit lackluster. The coffee machine was broken most days and the coffee in the dispenser was really bad, but you have to pay extra for a barista coffee. No refrigeration of the yoghurt/cold meat left out and saw many flies on the pastries which are uncovered. Slightly limited selection of foods compared to other five star resorts.
The room was nice, faced the beach and had full kitchen/laundry facilities. But there was cosmetic damage to furniture (scratches, chips, dirt). Noisy boiler in the room too and the fan only had two speeds: really fast or barely moving. Comfy bed and decent size overall.
Overall, the hotel is okay, but needs a refresh and a bit more sparkle to feel like a luxury resort.
Llp_948Overall, the hotel is beautiful and offers a very pleasant setting. The facilities are well maintained, and the atmosphere is relaxing. A special mention to the staff, who are always present, smiling, and genuinely willing to help at any time, their service is definitely a strong point of this hotel.
However, there was a significant issue regarding the room booking. I had reserved a room with an ocean view, and the photos clearly showed this. Upon arrival, I was assigned a room set far back, with no real ocean view. After speaking with reception, I was told that the photos were inaccurate and that the issue came from Trip. Regardless of whether this is the responsibility of the platform or the hotel, this situation is simply not professional and creates unnecessary disappointment.
For those specifically looking for a nice ocean view, this may not be the right place. The water itself is not particularly appealing, as it appears green and not very clear.
Access to the hotel is quite unique, as you need to take a small boat (about one minute) to cross from one side to the other, which can be a nice experience but may not suit everyone.
Lastly, if your room is located far from the reception area, you will need to rely on golf car to get around the property. Unfortunately, these are not always readily available, which can be inconvenient.
In summary, the hotel has great potential thanks to its setting and excellent staff, but some aspects, especially booking accuracy and logistics could be significantly improved.
GGuest UserThe rooms are tastefully decorated and well-equipped, and the views are absolutely perfect. The restaurant quality is also good, and watching the sunset at the fish bar was a fantastic experience. The staff are all incredibly well-trained, enthusiastic, and professional—it's not just a few individuals, but every single employee is welcoming and ready to assist with anything you need. Marriott's hotel training really shines through here. If I had to nitpick, the hotel sofas are a bit dated and starting to yellow slightly, and while the bed sheets are clean, they also show a bit of age with a slight yellowish tint. On a positive note, the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable; I rarely sleep this well in a hotel. This is definitely a highly recommended top-tier hotel in Fiji.
GGuest UserMy overall stay was fantastic! The environment was quiet and comfortable, and the room was clean and tidy with all the amenities I needed. The service was warm and attentive, with a friendly attitude; both check-in and check-out were smooth. It was great value for money, and I felt relaxed and at ease during my stay. It was a very satisfying experience, and I'll definitely prioritize staying here again for my next trip.
GGuest UserWe stayed at Club Fiji for our entire 5-day visit, and after exploring the area during our stay, we believe it was the best choice in Nadi. Why did we love it?
The location is fantastic — right on the beach (we stayed in a beachfront bure), close to the airport but without any airplane noise. There’s a convenient free shuttle to many activities like the Vau Contemporary Dance performance or a Denarau snorkel cruise, and a taxi to Nadi town costs about 10 FJD.
Our beachfront bure was newly renovated, clean, and had everything we needed — not fancy but comfortable. The beds were made regularly if we weren’t in the room when housekeeping came by.
The grounds are stunning, with beautifully kept gardens and loads of chill-out spots — beach beds under umbrellas, hammocks on palm trees, two pools, and lovely spaces to eat or have a drink.
The service was very personal, with staff always checking if we needed anything. They even have a travel expert on-site to help plan your activities and bookings.
Entertainment happens most nights, ranging from the unique way dinners are served (like Korean grills or beach BBQs) to concerts and local celebrations.
Food-wise, the buffet breakfast is simple but adequate since there are few other options nearby; the à la carte dinner menu is decent, but the special grills are outstanding.
We really loved the authentic Fijian atmosphere here, which felt very different from the typical all-inclusive resorts—it had a feeling you couldn’t find just anywhere in the world.
JJeshminI recently visited Smugglers Hotel and had a mixed experience that I believe management should take seriously for the safety and comfort of their guests.
One of my main concerns is the lack of clear separation between smoking and non-smoking areas. While I was seated in the dining area having lunch, cigarette smoke drifted into the space, which triggered an asthma attack. This was a distressing and avoidable situation. I strongly recommend that the hotel either designates a smoking area at least 10 meters away from dining and common areas or ensures that smoking sections are completely separate and well-ventilated to prevent exposure to non-smoking guests.
Additionally, it would be beneficial for staff to have basic first aid training, including CPR. In situations like mine, having trained personnel on-site could make a significant difference in responding quickly and effectively to health emergencies.
I hope management takes these suggestions seriously and implements improvements to create a safer and more comfortable environment for all guests.
GGuest UserThis is not up to standard with a 5-star resort. Overall it’s a nice stay, but overpriced and don’t go expecting 5-star luxury. It unfortunately has not kept up with the maintenance it has needed over the years.
Negatives
- had aircon issues and slept without aircon, they moved us rooms to fix this
- had a leak above our shower in both tooms
- fridge was broken in both rooms
- lack of pool towels for number of guests, tried getting a pool towel on multiple occasions to be told they were out. When we eventually got some they were stained.
- lack of snorkle gear for guests, we unfortunately couldn’t snorkle because they were always out. We spoke to other guests who went and bought some because they couldn’t get any either
- aircon in rooms is very loud
- internet access drops out constantly
- we couldn’t watch tv as the internet was down for netflix on the tv and we were told we could only watch it on phones or ipads
- food menus in the room are dirty and falling apart
Positives
- most of the staff is really friendly
- adults only pool is calm and quiet
- good assortment of activities and things to do in the hotel
- staff is mostly helpful when you need things
We actually tried to refund the end of our stay so we could leave. I wouldn’t recommend it to people and just know if you do stay here it is more like a 3 to 4 star resort.
