I was very satisfied with this hotel. It's a perfectly functional and convenient hotel with all the necessary amenities. The lobby has self-service check-in and check-out machines, and there's 24-hour front desk service, which was very polite and thoughtful. The lobby is quite spacious, with self-service drink and coffee machines, a microwave, and a small pantry area. There are also many desks and power outlets. The room was spotlessly clean. You'll need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. There's a kettle, and the internet speed in the room was excellent – perfect for watching videos on your phone. The hotel is large with many rooms, so I'm not sure if all rooms have equally good signal. Right next to the hotel, in an adjacent building, there are two supermarkets with a wide selection of vegetables, fruits, and daily necessities, plus a pharmacy. The tram stop for Tram 10 is right outside the supermarket. This tram runs between Zurich Airport and Zurich Central Station, making it incredibly convenient to get to the city center or the airport without transfers. What's more, the tram stops are level with the ground, which is great for passengers using wheelchairs or pushing strollers. From the airport, take this tram and get off at the Glattpark stop; the journey only takes about 8-9 minutes. This tram runs almost all day, so early morning or late-night flights are no problem. The ticket price is also reasonable. Plus, the hotel's price offers much better value and conditions compared to renting a similarly priced room in the city. Breakfast was decent.
Quick overnight stay, everything was fine and clean.
Had to pay for the short shuttle to the airport, despite it appearing as though it should be included in the booking. Also had to ask a couple of times to get the cot brought to the room.
Otherwise good for what we needed!
The room layout and amenities are consistent with a typical Holiday Inn Express. It's quite spacious. Remember to bring your own toothbrush and slippers. The breakfast is rich and plentiful. Airport pick-up is free, and drop-off is 10 CHF per person, with a 10-minute drive to the airport.
Pros:
1. Location is right across Oerlikon train station and surrounded by supermarkets and a small shopping mall.
2. Rooms prices are more affordable compared to the ones near Zurich main station.
3. Front office staff were friendly and welcoming.
4. Modern and fairly spacious rooms for 19sqm
Cons:
1. Missed housekeeping request after a call was made for it to be done. No one came and the staff we spoke to only said she will highlight to management.
2. No kettle to boil hot water.. seems like the 2nd hotel we came across in Switzerland that doesn't provide this.
We didn't opt for breakfast so we can't comment on that.
We arrived very early for our reservation (06:45 AM) at Ibis Styles hotel after a long night's travel from Prague & wasn't sure whether any rooms would be available. We were greeted by the friendly gentlemen at the reception Hicham Khalil, who was a life saver. He helped us to check-in early which was amazing. The room was very clean and comfortable. The complementary tea & coffee, together with the gym and sauna was a pleasant treat. It was a super comfortable stay at an affordable price, very close to Zurich HB. 😊♥️
The location is pretty and quiet 13-19min away the airport
Less than 15min to city and it’s easy to get around
Rooms are not small and pretty tidy and clean
Check in was smooth and staff are very nice and helpful !
Around the hotel there’s shop, cinema and nice cafe can stopped by!
The hotel boasts an excellent location, just over 200 meters from Zurich Main Station. Turn right out of the hotel, and you're directly on Bahnhofstrasse, with all Old Town attractions easily accessible on foot. If you're planning a visit to ETH Zurich, simply turn left out of the hotel, cross the bridge, navigate to the Polybahn, and it's a quick 5-minute walk to catch the red funicular uphill.
We booked for two nights. A nice perk: if you opt out of daily housekeeping service for your second day, you can redeem a complimentary drink from the downstairs bar, one per person.
Our room was clean and tidy. The 'Wow' room type offered decent space, allowing us to comfortably open two large suitcases.
Good location away from the city centre. Quiet and peaceful environment. Staff were helpful. There are parking for hotel guest. But if there is an event in the hotel, the parking can be full and the nearest side parking is about 1km away. That can be upsetting as the parking lots are not reserved for guest who are staying there.
The hotel's location is decent, probably its only upside, with plenty of dining options nearby. However, the room is quite small and the bed is very low. Breakfast is served in the front desk area, with limited choices. Overall, it's not great value for money. They gave us a street-facing room, which isn't ideal if you're particular about sleep quality!
Facilities: A charming century-old building, though the elevator is a bit small. Hygiene: Clean and comfortable. Environment: Excellent location, making it convenient to get anywhere in Zurich. The train station is just a 10-minute walk away. Service: Good, and they offer luggage storage.

Very Good
GGuest UserThis hotel is conveniently located just one tram stop from the airport. There seems to be a shuttle bus, but be aware that you need to book it in advance. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean, but the coffee machine was dusty and had water in it, so I felt it needed cleaning. The amenities, however, were quite comprehensive.
MMarc1Really good modern hotel with spacious rooms. I recommend for the people that decide for this hotel to arrive by car, as it is a bit more remote, the valet parking takes care of the rest. Fantastic restaurant on the 4th floor, in case you don’t want to travel into the city, over all a 5/5 experience!
Zz19930612The hotel is in the mountains, and it is a bit troublesome to drive. First, you have to park the car in a free parking lot by the swimming pool, and then find a way to get to the train station. It takes about 2 kilometers and a few minutes to take a taxi, and about 11CHF for Uber. It takes about 20 minutes to walk, and there are various slopes. At the train station, you have to wait for the train every half an hour. The one-way ticket is about 4.6CHF per person. After getting off the train at the station, you have to walk for another ten minutes to get to the hotel. Moreover, the hotel’s car only picks up luggage from the train station and not people. It cost nearly 50CHF for two people to go back and forth from the parking lot to the hotel by Uber + train, and we also climbed a lot of slopes. The room was okay, but the window of the room I booked was directly against a wall and there was no view. The view of other more expensive rooms is probably good. If you don’t want to go to the highest place in Zurich to see the scenery and are too lazy to hike, you don’t have to book this hotel.
GGuest UserThe first day when we arrived on the 13th of August , the guy at the front desk was very friendly and polite. The hotel is located near tram and train station and bus station so it is was very convenient to go anywhere. Tram is 4mins walk away ,10mins walk to supermarket and train station. And 15mins by tram to the Zurich airport .
Hotel cleanliness is an issue, very dusty floor, dirty sink, and dirty toilet bowl. I even asked twice the receptionist the guy on duty if they can clean our room and put a fresh towel but no one came to clean.Room service is not 24hrs. Air conditioning doesn’t cool the room down. No tv channels. Hotel service is below standard.

MMillwall85Very easy to find, fantastic location straight opposite the departures. Staff were tremendous, I never got my email with my code so the reception lady fixed that for me and spoke fluent English which helped me a lot. Very comfy sleeping area, very clean toilet and shower area. Super impressive.
JJudgeJustinAfter surviving a passport control queue that felt long enough to qualify as a second flight, walking into 25Hours Hotel Zurich was pure bliss. We’d booked a Large room for our first Valentine’s weekend together, and it was a brilliant call - spacious, beautifully presented, and hitting that elusive sweet spot between ”industrial-chic” and ”actually comfortable.”
The showstopper (quite literally) was the glass shower cubicle standing proudly in the centre of the room. It’s a bold design choice that we loved, and for those who aren’t quite ready to share that much with their partner, it’s easily screened off for a bit of privacy. The free mini-bar and designer coffee were lovely surprises that made us feel like VIPs, and the smart TV’s screen-sharing was a total win; mirroring Netflix from our phones was effortless, making our late-night movie plans a breeze.
The staff were truly excellent. We turned up an hour before the official check-in time, but instead of being sent away to wander the streets, the receptionist checked us in immediately with a genuine smile. Furthermore, after we indulged in slightly more red wine than was perhaps wise the night before, the team graciously allowed us a late check-out with zero fuss and no extra charge. That level of empathy is rare, in my experience.
If you want high-quality, spotlessly clean, and wonderfully quirky accommodation in a prime Zurich location, look no further. It even smells fantastic - I’m convinced there’s a designer scent being pumped through the air conditioning. (Note to management: if you sell that fragrance in a bottle, please let me know - I’ll take five!)
We had a highly enjoyable, relaxing stay and we will definitely be back.
KKat_AiThe hotel is beautiful and very conveniently located within the airport, making it easy to access on foot. It is very convenient for travelers with early or late flights. Overall, the amenities are good, and luggage storage is available for 3–4 days (with an extra charge per day and per bag).
However, there were a few issues during my stay. There was no hot or warm water in my room, even late at night after a long flight, and I was unable to reach the reception by phone for assistance. In addition, the front desk staff were polite but not very friendly or welcoming.
On a positive note, the lobby bar staff were friendly and provided good service. I hope these issues can be addressed to improve the guest experience.
CchubbyjennyGreat hotel with excellent location, near the train station by walking within 8 mins. Staff are very nice generally, you feel welcomed to the hotel disregarding you are German speakers or not. Room size is sufficient. Remember to bring along your amenities as they won't provide free according to the regulations. Clean and comfortable.
