Extremely satisfied! Mati contacted us a few days in advance with check-in details, and even helped us upgrade our room type on the day of arrival. The room was incredibly clean – the tables were spotless, and the floors and bathtub were all pristine. I absolutely love hotels with great hygiene! I also really enjoyed the public hot spring area; the water was very clean, and the environment was elegant. It was super comfortable to have drinks and chat with friends in the lobby in the evening.

The room was incredibly comfortable, and the views of Canton Tower and the river were absolutely stunning! The front desk staff kindly upgraded my twin room with a view to a suite for free. The soundproofing in the room was excellent, and all the facilities were clean and tidy. The linens were spotless and comfortable! Breakfast offered a wide variety, and it was served until 10:30 AM, so you don't have to worry about missing it even if you sleep in. The hotel staff were all warm and attentive! Compared to similar hotels in Japan, the service here in China is much more enthusiastic!

This time the hotel was really crowded, and I appreciated the hotel calling me beforehand to check my arrival time and needs. Since it was so busy, they upgraded us to an Executive Sea View Room, which was a nice touch and showed their thoughtfulness. However, as someone who vacations at the InterContinental Dameisha every year, I was still quite disappointed this time. In the past, the hotel used to give out beach toys and octopus plushies, and there were always friendly, smiling staff everywhere. But this visit was truly disappointing. There were no staff members at the exit from the hotel to the beach, and everyone had to swipe their room cards themselves. With so many people coming and going, it just felt chaotic. The quality of the buffet dinner has also gone down significantly. The previously young, smiling staff now seem older and much more aloof, and the service quality has declined a lot. This hotel used to be the pinnacle of parent-child hotels in Shenzhen, consistently ranked number one. If things continue like this, it will surely be surpassed by the MGM next door. I still hope the current hotel team will put more effort into it and not let a hotel with such a good reputation deteriorate.

Fantastic room with a view: We stayed in a Deluxe Room, and the 43-square-meter space had a modern design. The absolute highlight was the 270-degree floor-to-ceiling windows, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Shenzhen Bay. The sunset in the evening was especially romantic.
Abundant dining options: The hotel boasts 4 restaurants and bars. We had breakfast at the all-day dining restaurant on the 66th floor, which offered a wide variety of choices, including fresh coconuts. The high-altitude lobby lounge is a great spot for afternoon tea and scenic views.
Excellent wellness facilities: The gym is well-equipped and offers fantastic views. The indoor heated pool is a popular photo spot, with its 'giant moon' decoration in the water perfect for pictures.
Convenient location: The hotel has direct access to the RAIL IN shopping mall, and it's just a few minutes' walk to Hongshuwan South Metro Station, making travel and shopping incredibly convenient.
Overall, this was a perfect stay. Shangri-La Nanshan not only impressed us with its stylish design and facilities but also captured our hearts with the warm and proactive service provided by excellent staff like Lydia. We will definitely choose to stay here again and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.

1. **Location:** Perfect for tourists! The library is right outside, and the APM line provides direct access to most attractions.
2. **Service:** Before arrival, someone called to confirm my arrival time and needs. My requested birthday decorations were also arranged smoothly. The front desk staff who checked me in around noon on the 11th was incredibly warm and welcoming (though I forgot her name). She attentively addressed my room requests. By the way, the concierge was also very dedicated. Although my room key failed twice, and the wait to get new ones slightly delayed my schedule, the duty manager was understanding and offered solutions. (However, I must strongly criticize the attitude of the front desk staff member who answered my second call when my key failed again – it wasn't the original person, and her demeanor was extremely rude and cold.)
3. **Breakfast:** While the selection was small, the taste was quite good.
4. **Housekeeping:** The male staff member who cleaned the room was very meticulous.
5. **Decor:** It's the classic Ritz style, but because the hotel is a bit older, the wooden floors sometimes creak. However, the facilities are consistently updated, which you can tell by the Toto toilets. The toiletries were Diptyque, and the water was Voss.
Overall, I'm grateful to the Ritz for giving my friend and me a wonderful birthday memory! We were very happy! 🥳

I initially thought the hotel was inside the Spring Bamboo shoot building, but it's actually nestled beside it, like a young lady leaning against it.
The overall South-East Asian style is very comfortable and tasteful, not tacky or ostentatious. The public areas are a bit narrow, giving a feeling of walking through alleyways.
The room doesn't have a sofa, just a round table with two chairs. It misses the experience of being able to lie by the bed and enjoy the night view.
The walk-in closet is tucked away at the very back, and I had to search for it for a while initially.
At night, I could see a concert at the stadium and the night view of Talent Park.
The mini-bar drinks and snacks are replenished daily, which is generous. The selection clearly shows thoughtful curation. For this price point, a complimentary mini-bar like this is the best in Shenzhen (Mandarin Oriental charges, Raffles is slightly weaker).
On the first evening, they brought a bowl of red bean soup, but it wasn't offered on the second night. When I asked the housekeeping staff, I got the standard 'I don't know, I just started recently...' response. However, there were chocolates with the turndown service.
The à la carte breakfast options are quite varied and portions are generous, while the buffet section is smaller. It feels like most hotels that use a non-buffet restaurant for breakfast don't have grand buffet setups, but the food here is refined and worth experiencing. They've opened up two adjacent dining areas, so there's no queuing. For those who prefer quiet, the Western restaurant near the elevator feels like a different world compared to the inner dining area – highly commendable and something hotels with long breakfast queues should learn from.
Later, comparing it to other Shenzhen hotels, I felt I might have been a bit harsh on Andaz's butler service. After all, with the incredibly competitive service in Sanya, it's easy to become accustomed to it elsewhere. While there weren't any particularly unexpected surprises, it still deserves five stars, showing diligent and responsible service.
Currently, if someone asks me to recommend the top hotel in Shenzhen, I would choose Andaz.

Overall, my one-night stay went smoothly, which might be why I didn't encounter any major issues. Similar to the old St. Regis, the butler service here doesn't involve adding them on WeChat or anything like that. However, during checkout, they did press me for a good review (something the old St. Regis never did, perhaps they knew better).
The overall decor, facilities, and dining all feel a step up from the old St. Regis, likely due to it being a new opening. But the predominantly light color scheme lacks the 'old money' vibe of the original.
The room isn't huge, but it's perfectly fine for one person. Being on a high floor, the Ferris wheel view is unobstructed and offers a more expansive vista than the JW Marriott in front. However, it's a bit of a trek to get to the beach, and the area gets a bit quiet at night.
While I can understand the mini-bar being charged at the old St. Regis's price point, it feels a bit much at the new St. Regis's rates. And if they're going to charge, they could at least make the mini-bar look nicer; that can of orange juice in the fridge looked like something I've seen at an Atour hotel.
Breakfast doesn't have an à la carte menu. The food is more refined than the old St. Regis, but for the new St. Regis's price point, it's still a bit... underwhelming. I recall that among hotels in Shenzhen at this price range and above, this new St. Regis might be the only one without an à la carte menu.
The gym feels a bit sparse; they could definitely add more equipment.
The service was generally fine, they could be a bit more confident. However, if I were to give it five stars, I'd feel like I was short-changing other similarly priced hotels in the city, as there are places with much more competitive offerings.
If I had to pick one specific point, it would be during check-in when I overheard the front desk agent next to me telling another guest, who looked like they were on a business trip, 'You can get a late checkout until 5 PM and a one-level room upgrade, but a two-level upgrade would incur a charge.' This reminded me of a similar comment I heard at the Conrad next door: 'We highly value guests like you who pay the full price for your stay' (though in reality, they didn't seem to value it *that* much). It felt a little jarring, making me feel a bit like a chump and a sucker.

The room was incredibly spacious. The hotel even surprised me with a cake for my birthday, which was a lovely touch.
The yellow bathrobe was exceptionally comfortable. I loved it so much that I immediately bought a new one from the butler after checking out!
I was initially told there would be a charge for extra beds, and I requested two. To my pleasant surprise, the hotel waived the extra bed fees when I checked out. It was a wonderful and unexpected gesture.
Big thanks to the butler team — Kathryn, Maddy, Qian, and Echo — as well as the duty manager, Singer, for their excellent service.
The only minor disappointment was that some of the Panorama Suite layouts differed slightly from the pictures on Trip.com, and the specific room type I wanted was fully booked. However, this didn't dampen my overall positive impression of the hotel.
If I have the chance, I would definitely choose Raffles again. I hope to get my preferred Panorama Suite layout next time.
(The evening buffet at the Starlight restaurant was absolutely delicious, especially the all-you-can-eat oysters – six different kinds! So delightful.)

Staying at the Park Hyatt Guangzhou was a fantastic experience, largely thanks to our butler, Zero. He contacted us a day in advance and paid attention to every detail, making us feel truly valued. His professionalism and warmth made for an excellent stay! There was a minor hiccup with the A/C not heating properly, but it was resolved quickly. He even brought us red bean soup in the evening (next time, I'd suggest including an extra bowl!).

I booked the signature duplex suite at Jumeirah, and it was an amazing experience. While all Jumeirah hotels in Dubai, including the Burj Al Arab, exclusively offer duplex suites, this is the only one in China (Guangzhou) that does. The hardware is, of course, up to luxury hotel standards. However, their service truly stands out – it's absolutely impeccable. My butler, Sophia, provided service that was just right – not overly obsequious, yet never neglectful. During my 4-day stay, every time I returned to the hotel, the lobby concierge would always press the elevator for me, and when I left, they'd open the door without fail. The housekeeping staff's service was equally flawless. It's truly better service than what I've experienced at other equivalent hotels like Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, Banyan Tree, and so on. The breakfast leans towards Western cuisine, and I noticed many Arabs and Caucasians dining there.

Hotel is conveniently located opposite of Guangzhou East Railway station (Gate 4) and metro station was very near too. . Room is spacious and clean. Bed is big and comfotable. Upon check-in, staff explained us regards to the restaurant operation hours for breakfast, afternoon tea and late night supper. Bedtime milk is also provided. Guests can communicate with staff through WeChat. There is a gym and laundry room located on the 4th floor. Kids amenities are given to young children. Knowing that we were traveling with a young child and it was raining heavily at that time, Ms Crysta had extended a complimentary late check out till 3pm for us, which I am very grateful for. Overall, it was a great experience staying in 美豪丽致酒, will come again if we come to Guangzhou again
The hotel is conveniently located, very clean, including modern amenities, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also very tasty and varied.
The front desk staff showed excellent hospitality. Despite the language barrier, they made the effort to use a translator to communicate, which was much appreciated. The hotel is conveniently located very close to the Nanzhou MTR station which links to many attractions in Guangzhou. Breakfast could be improved, but overall it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.
Amazing experience! Will back for sure! Everything you need is in one building. Spa, gym, swimming pool, flower shop, K11 shopping mall, hair salon, lots of amazing restaurants. Restaurant 107f, Jazz bar with amazing artists! Room is amazing with amazing view. Just so peace! I slept so well since I have sleep problem. Frankly, there is no better hotel in GZ than this! Staffs r respectful and helpful. I have not leaving hotel for 3 days.

Outstanding
My family had an outstanding stay at the hotel. The service was excellent from start to finish, and the staff was consistently nice and professional. A special shoutout to Steven, the guest relations specialist, whose assistance made our stay incredibly enjoyable. The room was exceptionally comfortable, featuring a top-quality mattress that ensured a restful night’s sleep. We also loved the bathroom view—it added a lovely touch to our stay. The food in breakfast buffer was decent and we enjoyed a lot. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Thank you for making our visit memorable! We booked 2 rooms for our family trip this time. Look forward for the next trip here again.

What I like: 1. Location is convenient. Near many of the places we wanted to explore and visit in Shenzhen 2. Room was clean and spacious as well. 3. Nice and friendly staff 4. Love the room. Smart tech fitted, with a smart toilet and bidet 5. Like that the shower and toilet are segregated 6. Can do laundry and detergent is provided 7. There's a small exercise area with a walking pad, steps and dumbbells if you wanna work out There's a porridge supper from 8pm-12am There's a lot of food options nearby Negatives: 1. Not a major problem but there's no drop off/pick up point for cars. Need to watch for traffic when crossing to get to the didi. But I realize it's quite common in China for mid range hotels. 2. Room soundproofing was ok, mostly quiet when we stayed. Day time can hear the car horns, but night time is nice and quiet, great for sleep
