Good stay at Jazz Hotel Penang 👍 Really satisfied with my trip here. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, with a bathtub and even a complimentary bath bomb which made the stay extra relaxing. Love the rooftop pool and the overall modern vibe. Location is convenient — walking distance to Straits Quay and easy access to Gurney area for food. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Overall a pleasant experience, will definitely come back again!

This is my second time staying here. As always every thing is perfect. They allowed us to have an early check in since the room was ready early. From check in to check out time everything was smooth. Luckily we were able to see again our favourite staff Ady but this time we saw many new faces. Thank you Ady for wonderful service again. Not forgetting Joshua as the Front Office Ambassador and the Duty Manager i forgot his name though. The housekeeping also maintained their good service to ensure our room condition was perfect. Kudos to Harun for the great work! And also thank you for the maintenance staff Rahim for assisting me to get better wifi connection. Please maintain what you all doing!

Stayed here during the Chinese New Year period and it was very crowded. The room's carpet, linens, and appliances show a bit of age, but thankfully, the overall visible areas were clean. The location is very convenient, directly opposite Jen Hotel and very close to Komtar. There's a stunning high-rise infinity pool perfect for photos, and water dispensers are available on every floor. The breakfast was quite substantial, especially the freshly made roti canai and toast. The service attitude was also proper and courteous.

Great location. Hotel located near the Hin Bus Depot, plenty of great foods around. Great view. My room was facing Komtar Tower and i have a really great window view. Service Tiptop. From check-in, to check-out, and keeping the luggage, all staff are very helpful and welcoming. Great Facilities. Just manage to use the pool, and i love the view and, not to crowded.

The room and bathroom were very spacious and comfortable. The air conditioning worked efficiently and cooled the room quickly, which was especially appreciated in Penang’s warm weather. The towels were also of good quality with strong absorption. Parking was slightly unusual in layout, but still manageable. Even during the festive season, there were plenty of parking lots available, which was a big plus. The location is convenient. Northam Beach Cafe is within a 10-minute walking distance, and there is a traffic light for pedestrians to safely cross the road. There is also a Starbucks just 5 minutes behind the hotel, making it easy to grab coffee. However, the major downside was the poor soundproofing. I could clearly hear the next door guests talking loudly, laughing, and even closing their doors. Unfortunately, this affected my sleep quality and was quite disappointing. Overall, it was a good stay with very friendly and helpful concierge service. If the soundproofing can be improved, the experience would be much better.

The location is fantastic, right by two large shopping malls, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient—just a three to four-minute walk away. While you'll need a taxi to get to the old town attractions, it means the area is much quieter. There's a Hua Yang restaurant right under the nearby Gurney Plaza, and the wait times are much shorter than in Kuala Lumpur, so I finally got to eat there! The facilities are a bit lacking and can't compare to five-star hotels in China. However, the service is excellent, and they even offer a shuttle bus. Breakfast was a bit disappointing; they start clearing up right on time, and the variety isn't huge. Overall, the service was very good and proactive.

Nice hotel that comes with an infinity pool just suitable for guests, spacious room (double twin beds), quiet & tasteful deco of cafe & co-working space, It's nice to include a welcome drink (coffee, tea, orange juice to choose from). The bar was good too, we enjoyed our drinks at the open area instead. Check-in & check-out were fast & efficient. Hotel staffs were friendly & welcoming. The only downside was the laundry area, 2 washing machines & 2 dryers. However when we went to use, only 1 washing machine was working but both the dryer not quite functioning after used by the guest b4 us. So, we ended up did our laundry at a nearby dolby.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The price is reasonable, and its central location makes it super convenient for visiting attractions and enjoying delicious food. You can easily walk to Lebuh Kimberley (Kimberley Street) for famous night market food. For breakfast, the Sia Boey market (also known as Pasar Chowrasta) on Jalan Kuala Kangsar is a must-try – their duck kway teow soup, pastries, and 'gua wa mee' (Hokkien Mee) are all incredibly tasty. In the afternoon, head to Penang Road for the famous cendol and laksa. Right next to the cendol stall, there's a coffee shop serving amazing laksa, char kway teow, and oyster omelets. Seriously, whenever I return to Penang, this hotel will be my top choice!

Great hospitality and service throughout my stay in Penang Amari Spice Hotel. Upon arrival, the reception team kindly upgraded me to a Premier King room without any request, which was a wonderful surprise. The room was spacious, clean, well-maintained, and had a pleasant scent—everything was excellent. I would like to express my utmost appreciation to the midnight team on 21/03/2026. During our stay, my friend suddenly fell seriously ill during midnight . We attempted to call emergency services (999), but unfortunately were unable to get through to the nearby general hospital immediately. The situation was critical, and waiting another 10–20 minutes could have put my friend’s life at risk. Thankfully, the Penang Amari hotel team acted swiftly and professionally. They followed up with us, and the female manager along with the guy management team arrived promptly to assess the situation. They provided immediate support and helped arrange transportation to the nearest hospital, ensuring we arrived within 10 minutes. Thanks to their quick response and care, my friend’s life was saved. And even after check out they still texting us to concern on the guest safety. We are deeply grateful for their kindness, efficiency, and dedication during such a critical moment. Bayview Hotel Penang is excellently located near to good food and sights. The hotel staff are helpful and kind, and the hotel premises itself is grand though it has seen more gloried days in the past. The rooms are spacious and beds comfy, the pillows a little thin but one can request for extra foam pillows if required. i like that they have a QR code guest cam scan and ask for services online, which supercedes calling on the phone. Me and my friend enjoyed our stay though the view was a tat disappointing cuz we didn't get the full bay view. 🙂
