Great central location, super convenient, right next to the famous New York Cafe. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, like a concert hall, very grand and ceremonial. The lobby is quite lovely too. My only minor complaint was at checkout; when I spoke to one of the receptionists, a Caucasian woman, she didn't even bother to look up. It was the other female receptionist next to her who actually helped me.

The manager is great, kind, and helpful. The receptionists are untrained and unhelpful. Definitely needs improvement. The breakfast is decent, but the female staff is distracted and inefficient, except for one woman at 13-5 Men, a helpful and kind guy. Renovation work next door is causing disruption.

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center. The front desk staff were very polite, unhurriedly explaining everything and even upgraded our room. We got a room directly facing the church – drawing back the curtains revealed a perfect view of it. The bathroom had two sinks, and all the facilities were new. The only downside was the air conditioning; it would switch to heating every ten minutes or so, making a lot of noise, and I'm not sure why. Breakfast options were limited, and it was hard to find a table between 9-10 AM due to the crowd.

The hotel is ideally located in the vibrant university district of the city center, just a few minutes' walk from the metro station. Public transportation is excellent, and major attractions, shopping areas, and unique restaurants are all within walking distance, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and getting around. The hotel is a trendy and stylish conversion of an old factory, boasting a youthful yet elegant design. The public areas are spacious and refined, with well-equipped amenities like a lounge area, fitness center, and media room, catering to both leisure and business needs. Our room was new and spotless, with a smart layout and excellent soundproofing. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were modern and complete, with stable hot water and good pressure. The high-speed WiFi throughout the room was seamless and never lagged – attention to detail was evident everywhere. The front desk staff were warm and friendly, communicating smoothly in multiple languages. Check-in and check-out processes were efficient and quick, and services like luggage storage and travel advice were thoughtful and thorough. The buffet breakfast offered a rich variety, combining local specialties with diverse dishes. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were outstanding, ensuring a great start to the day. Whether you're traveling independently, on a business trip, or with companions, this hotel is an excellent choice. The environment, service, and facilities are top-notch across the board, offering incredible value for money. When visiting Budapest, I highly recommend staying here; I'll definitely choose it again on my next trip!

Front desk is super! I needed to see a doctor or get some medication on Good Friday which was a public holiday. The duty manager and front desk staff assisted me with an address for a 24h pharmacy located out of the city centre by train. I managed to get the medication eventually, as well as see the community neighbourhood too on a quiet Friday morning. The room I stayed in faced the Parliament building and morning sun too. It was very warm despite with the AC turned on and lasted even through the nights we stayed. Our request for a fan helped a little to ventilate the room. But this may be just the problem for the room we stayed in. Housekeeping staff is nice and pleasant. The standard of beds made was only average. But perhaps, this was the expected standard for Novotel hotels in Budapest. Other than these, the room view facing the Danube was amazing and the location is near to Castle District. Our stay was pleasant overall.

I revisited Budapest purely for the sunset at Fisherman's Bastion and the night view of the Danube, so the hotel's location and the direct view of the Parliament Building were absolutely perfect. Plus, the room size was incredibly spacious, a rare find in Europe. The hotel was built on the ruins of a monastery from several centuries ago. You can still see some of the old brickwork embedded in the walls, and the broken arches of the monastery are visible from the back of the hotel.

This is a pretty standard hotel, but it's really close to the airport and they have a shuttle service, which is super convenient. It's also very quiet, making it perfect for travelers flying in or out, or those on a layover. The rooms are clean and tidy, and all the amenities you need are there, including a water heater. I especially liked how the toilet, sink, and shower are all separated – very well thought out. Overall, a great hotel that I'd definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay overall. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our visit, which really made a great impression. The breakfast was also fantastic—delicious, high quality, and such a nice bonus that it’s included with the stay. The only disappointment during our visit was related to the sauna and spa area. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was to enjoy those facilities. When we checked in, the front desk staff member even told us about the sauna and mentioned that we should call a few minutes before going so they could prepare it for us. Unfortunately, we later found out that it was essentially unavailable for most of the weekend. On Sunday it was closed for a private event, and on Monday there was scheduled “maintenance” until 16:00. What made this a bit confusing was that we were in the gym area—right next to the spa—throughout the morning and didn’t see anyone doing any maintenance. When we tried again after 16:00, both the sauna and steam room had “out of order” signs posted. Of course, we understand that things happen and facilities occasionally need repairs or may be reserved for events. It would have just been helpful to know this at check-in, especially since the spa was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel. That said, aside from this issue, everything else about our stay was excellent. The service, atmosphere, and breakfast were all wonderful, and we truly enjoyed our time here.

The hotel is very new – it only opened last year, so everything feels fresh, clean, and modern. The good: · The double room was well-designed. The bed is noticeably high, which allows you to store luggage underneath – a smart use of space. · Despite being extremely close to the airport, the room was very quiet. I had one of the best night's sleeps I've had in an airport hotel – the bed is genuinely comfortable. I woke up feeling fresh and ready for my flight. · The hotel shares an entrance with the Ibis Styles Airport Hotel, so it's easy to find. There's a shuttle to the terminal but I walked as it is very near and I only had a hand carry. Breakfast (continental buffet): Standard continental fare – local pastries, cheese, cold cuts, bread, etc. But the selection of fruits and salads was quite limited. Also, the layout is a bit odd: the food stations are scattered all around the dining area instead of one central buffet line. Takes a minute to figure out where everything is, but the quality was fine. Verdict: For a convenient, quiet, and comfortable airport hotel, this is excellent value for money. It's not a luxury resort, but it does exactly what you need – a great night's sleep near the runway. I would definitely book again.
