Stayed in a Delux Renovated Room which was still pretty rough for being vlassed as 'renovated' including a worn out seat, worn woodwork and a very old and mouldy fridge. The Wifi was also very slow and the TV was not smart so you could not use your own streaming services or youtube. Arrived about 4pm to be told that the restaurant closes at 6pm and does not reopen until breakfast when we were hoping to get an evening meal. Lastly the cleaning was not great as the shower had a big hair ball on the floor!

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I was impressed by its strategic location, perfect for business trips. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and modern amenities. The bathroom was a highlight, with a relaxing bathtub - a lovely touch! The hotel's central location made it easy to get around Alor Setar, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Alor Setar

I stayed here many years ago and stayed again recently. The hotel itself is not bad but could be better by providing a better hair dryer. Some parts of the buildings are worn out a little due to wear and tear I suppose. Hopefully the management can put some money for proper maintenance. Slippers and other amenities provided.

The hotel is very nice. Despite the fact that the hotel is old, and, for example, in our room type, the shower and toilet were separate, and the washbasin was in the common room area, all other things compensate for it. The hotel is clean. The location is good, 7-10 minutes by car to the central beach, you can use the Grab app or use the free shuttle bus that runs 2 times a day between the hotel and Cenang Mall, which is located in the area of the central public beach. The hotel also has friendly staff. In addition, it is convenient that you can buy all sightseeing tours right at the hotel. What we liked the most was the very tasty and varied breakfasts, as well as the infinity pool, which is open until midnight. We recommend👍🏻

We take room number 612. Their plug not working at 2 points. 1 is near dressing table and another 1 is real room phone table. Their washing face side light not working. Their toilet water wash hose leaking. Firstly we notice didn't provide toiletries like toothbrush and toothpaste. After we call up to reception then provided. For room issue we reported ask them to settle by giving when we go out. But didn't settle. Saying maintenance team were checked. But didn't do anything. After we report 2nd time saying want to check in midnight 12.35am. That's was our rest and sleeping time. Next day we waited to repair but no changes. They provide another room to change at 2nd day around 10.50am. But we have settle our stuff all at that room. We decide just leave it another 1 day to stay. So we don't want to change the room.

My stay at Langkapuri Inn didn’t quite live up to my expectations, to be honest. The room was definitely spacious, but the interior felt rather basic and could be improved. Adding simple furniture, such as a couch, would make the space more comfortable. The washroom, in particular, could benefit from some renovation. That said, the rooftop area is a nice highlight — it’s a relaxing spot to unwind at night, and they even screen movies there, which creates a chill atmosphere. The location is also convenient. It’s an easy walk to Pantai Cenang, and there are plenty of food options nearby. Overall, while the facilities could use some upgrading, the location and rooftop vibe are definite plus points.

Hotel is 15 floors. Check in to room with sea view on 11th floor - big, clean carpeted, separate shower and tub. Lobby pretty big with restaurant, meeting room, tour guide and a bistro. Welcome drink is a choice of fruit juice or beer at bistro. Also included is a high tea voucher for following day. Took a short walk and found a variety of different food places around - malay, Indian, Korean, Japanese and a tze char joint as well. A lot of different varieties of shops and duty free shops as Langkawi is a duty-free island where alcohol is cheaper than soft drinks. Many seafood joints around within 0.6 to 14 km radius.

The hotel allowed us to check in early and even gave us drink vouchers. The pool was beautiful, and the room was comfortable. The service was excellent, and the breakfast spread was fantastic. Definitely don't miss the Langkawi sunset cruise and the mangrove tour!

The family room was spacious, and the air conditioning worked great. Housekeeping cleaned daily and replenished our water. The hotel has a beautiful environment, with tropical flowers, fruit trees, and other plants everywhere. We saw small animals like squirrels, monkeys, birds, and geck moving around. The hotel also has several swimming pools and a private beach. During the Chinese New Year, we even received a New Year's card and fruit. Overall, we were very satisfied.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, with a spacious and spotless lobby. There's even a foot wash station by the entrance, which was a nice touch. The location is absolutely fantastic – right across from Cenang Beach! You're literally just 20 meters from the sand. Before coming, I was worried I might have booked some dodgy guesthouse with poor hygiene, but I can honestly say my worries were completely unfounded.
