Note that standard car size limitations apply (max length 5m, width 2m, height 2.1m). If you choose to use alternative public lots nearby, prices vary; for example, the nearby Trust Park lot charges rates like ¥500 for daytime parking (7:00–18:00) or ¥200 per 60 minutes. Its the closest to the hotel if you dun mind paying extra. One of the nice features of this hotel is that you can enjoy the onsen while looking out over the ocean. However, it is not very convenient without a car. I walked all the way from Beppu Station before discovering that the hotel offers a free shuttle bus. I’ve attached the shuttle bus schedule—I’d strongly recommend using it. The room was the biggest disappointment. Although it was advertised as a renovated, high-floor ocean-view room, it still felt very old. The bathroom was especially outdated, and there was a very high step between the bathroom and the room, making it easy to trip. The room really feels like it needs a proper renovation. Overall, the ocean-view onsen was enjoyable, but the rooms did not match my expectations.

It’s perfect for watching sunrise as our room was facing direct east. Unfortunately, it was cloudy and we couldn’t watch that. Location wise is perfect if looking for a getaway in tranquility, otherwise got to drive out for dining or convenience stores. Hotel staff is very polite and friendly. They also serve afternoon snack around 3pm. A very nice gesture especially for guests waiting for check in.

The stay was decent overall, but there is definitely room for improvement. While the general experience was okay, the room cleanliness wasn't up to par—specifically, there was an unpleasant odor coming from the cups and the bathroom. Additionally, the door leading from the balcony to the hot spring room couldn't be securely locked, which was a bit concerning. With better housekeeping and maintenance, this would be a much better place to stay.

The hotel is conveniently located on a seaside promenade right by the road, making it easy to catch a taxi. It's also relatively close to Beppu Daigaku Station if you take the train, but train rides are long and there's a 20-minute wait between trains, so taking a taxi is usually the way to go. All rooms face the sea, are spacious and very comfortable. The only issue during summer is that it gets quite hot by the windows. The sophisticated curtain design allows for a partial view of the sea, so you can enjoy the sunrise in the morning. There was also a raffle during my stay, and I won a free sand bath by the sea, which was a nice bonus. The only minor drawback was that the staff's English wasn't very good, especially in the restaurant.

This onsen hotel exceeded my expectations – it was truly excellent! First off, every room has its own private onsen, offering complete privacy, so you can enjoy a hot spring bath anytime you like! The hotel environment is beautiful, perfect for taking photos. We were lucky enough to encounter snow, which was the icing on the cake! What's more, the room was fully equipped and impeccably clean! Since we visited in winter, it was incredibly thoughtful that there were heaters everywhere, even in the bathroom. We booked the 'one night, two meals' package, and the food was delicious! The dishes were very unique, and you could really feel the restaurant's dedication. Extremely satisfied! The staff were excellent – friendly and approachable, making me feel right at home. Regarding transportation, we originally planned to drive, but canceled our car rental due to the weather. We took the train to Yufu Eki, pre-booked the shuttle with the hotel, and arrived in about 10 minutes! Overall, this is a highly recommended gem of a hotel! I'll definitely be back!

The staff members were all very friendly and welcoming. The hotel overall was very cozy, particularly the onsens. Although all the four onsens were opened for all guests at the hotel, you can use one of them as long as you want because guests are instructed to hang a sign on the onsen to show that it is currently occupied. This is a great way for the guests to enjoy privacy to themselves, although it is opened publicly. Dinner and breakfast was included in the package so we did not have to worry about finding nearby restaurants. The food was delicious here! Would definitely recommend if you enjoy traditional Japanese meals to get the full experience. We had a private barbecue for dinner, and it was truly immaculate! However, there was smoke all over the hotel lobby coming from the barbecue so it would have been better if they kept the windows opened. It was also indoors so it was slightly overwhelming with all the smoke everywhere in the restaurant. But everything else was on point and breakfast was particularly delicious. 

Room: neat clean space. lights and Aircon . the area between the beds is very spacious and there are large lockers so plenty of space to store your stuff . Bathroom: two normal showers and a large shower room where you can rent a bath hammock thing. three vanity sinks in this bathroom, then there's a toilet room with three toilets and three sinks, so lots of options. shampoo conditioner and body wash supplied. decent hairdryer. washing machine 300 yen, then dryer 100 yen per 15 mins. Security: pin code on dormitory. Amenities: there is a kitchen space and you can also order food from the 5th floor of the tower to the hostel lounge. Location: about ten minute walk from the station. plenty of eating places and shops nearby. there is a bus stop right outside. Other: might be useful if there were bins in the dormitory rather than having to go back and forth between the lounge. hooks in the bed area might also be useful e.g. for hanging your towel, although I suppose you could put it in your locker

This onsen hotel is great! We opted for the half-board plan (dinner and breakfast included), which was super convenient. Although the hotel is a bit older, everything is very well-maintained. The shower pressure was excellent, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was really good. Japanese hotels are always clean, of course. It's also just a 5-minute walk (300 meters) from Yufuin Station. Overall, we were very satisfied with everything! 👍

This is the best hotel I have been visit. I visit Japan 4-6 times a year, which different venue accommodation have been stayed. The price performance ratio is brilliant, and the parking is very decent as well.
