Very old 5 star Hotel that the room amenities is only 3 stars. Staff were great and friendly Room amenities worst than 3 star hotel, very old towels, cheap body and hair shampoo. Recommend to bring your own. Room sound proof is so bad that you can hear every single words from next door. Totally can't get good sleep due to next door talking non stops, imagine they do some exercise... Breakfast space is too small to cater full house. Food selection was mid Gym was the highlight, world class gym. But lack of air conditioning.

amazing rooms with breathtaking views right at the top of the mountain. the weather temperature was very cold in the month of october therefore a light cardigan will be perfect to keep warm. the resort provides complimentary tours with a selection of activities at your comfort and some tours are available also for a small fee. all the attractions needs to be booked at the reception lobby.

I had a pleasant one-day stay at Grand Sakura Hotel in Medan. The location is quite convenient, making it easy to get around the city and explore nearby attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a good space to relax after a day of travel. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. While the facilities are fairly simple, everything was functional and sufficient for a short stay. Overall, it’s a good value-for-money option for travelers looking for a comfortable and hassle-free place to stay in Medan.

Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a suite for our 2-night stay in Medan. The bedding was very comfortable, and we had a Smart TV and Wi-Fi. The staff were charming, and the breakfast offered a variety of savory and sweet dishes. I highly recommend it 👍

We had 2 night gate away here, Fantastic stay 💕💕💕💕💕!!! Breakfast superb! Beach is gorgeous view , facilities are top knot ! I had a lot of pretty photos taken here in the hotel area. Every corner is fabulous photo spot !!

I stayed here because the hotel close to train station & shopping mall, besides there is a vegetarian restaurant next to the hotel which is very convenient for me as a vegetarian. All the staffs were very friendly and helpful. Room was not big enough but it’s ok. Food was not bad as well.

The Hotel is super good .. Everything are amazing.. But we face a scamming that we opened our safe to arrange some documents and cash then the housekeeping team arrived to cleanup … So i let them enter the room for cleaning but I didn’t close the safe since we are in the room in that time. The safe located inside the closet the one you can walk in .. After they finished the cleaning We find 200 USD from our cash in the safe .. The cleaning team put the new laundry bag right on the top of the safe (in that time it was open) and now body noticed us that the safe is open …!!! I submitted a complaint to the front office of the hotel …!!! And i I described the cleaning staff to them exactly, and who was the person who entered the wardrobe containing the safe...!!! They said they would investigate the incident, and after two days they contacted me again saying they had questioned the cleaning staff, who denied taking anything from our safe...!!! And of course, we didn't find anything... which is obvious because no one would confess in this way without being pressured. And here's the question: why didn't the cleaning staff warn us that the safe was open when they went in to put the new laundry bag on top of it?

A place that has passed its prime...A decent place for the price paid. No complaints about that.. Great superb location to everywhere.. between 2 hospitals ...and walkaway from malls.. still recommend to take a trike or grab a car . About the hotel... Receptionists were friendly and attentive 2 last elevator to reach floor Rooms are super spacious a king and a twin Have 2 toilets... So no need to scream and shout for a spot But sad thing... Place is poorly maintained Pillows past their shelf life. Toilet floor are slimy... It's a dry toilet I know but cleaning it with water and the smell.. uhh don't get me to start.. sewer smell plus pee smell.. uhhh not a fan.. have to buy moth ball and fresher to make it smell good House keeping... Shall not say much.. not the best. Don't know if they sweep or mop the floors .. So if location is a thing.. a good place to stay if u are not fussy. A decent place that's pasted it's prime

Check-in experience was quite disappointing. We were initially given a smoking room despite requesting non-smoking, and were told to upgrade with an extra charge as no rooms were available on that floor. It was late at night and cancellation wasn’t possible, so we had to proceed. Unfortunately, the new room also had issues with the air-conditioning, making the stay uncomfortable. After a long day, we just wanted to rest, so we didn’t further complain. Overall, the experience was rather underwhelming and could have been handled better.

The hotel is comfortable and quiet with great service. The breakfast spread is delicious with many options. The only minor issue might be that since it's an older building, some room amenities like the wardrobe creak a bit, but overall it's good 👍. It remains our go-to hotel whenever we stay in Berastagi... thanks!
