Santika Premiere Dyandra Hotel & Convention - Medan

How this hotel got a 4-star rating is beyond me. The rooms are incredibly tiny. The windows offer no soundproofing, and neither do the doors (made of cheap, hollow wood). The bedsheets had stains. Check-in was excruciatingly slow; they kept sending me from one counter to another. Most rooms are right next to a busy road. The constant revving of motorcycle engines, which goes on until 1 or 2 AM, is enough to drive you crazy. The curtains are inadequate and let in far too much light. For over 300 a night, there are a lot of families staying here, so it gets incredibly noisy early in the morning with kids playing and adults shouting. It was a nightmare. I'm never coming back to this hotel. Avoid at all costs!
