The Batik Hotel

I booked one room at Batik Hotel for two nights. The hotel was overbooked and gave us a different room, then forced us to move again after the first night — we had to repack and take our luggage on a day trip. Handling was very unprofessional, never experienced sich rude treatment at a hotel. Staff repeatedly messaged us about already-known things, were unfriendly, and almost none spoke english. Breakfast lacked enough tables and service was slow, so late arrivals had to eat at dirty tables. Also staff blocked the only elevator at breakfast time. Overall disappointing; I do not recommend Batik Hotel until booking and staff communication improve.

The breakfast menu was different during our 6N stay there. Very much appreciated. The hotel has Martha Tilaar spa on Level 2 which was an extra bonus. The happy puppy ktv place is also located just beside. Which is also good for family hangout. The hotel didn’tprovide us with bottled water but with a flask and kettle instead. There are water dispensers along the corridor, easily accessed. Food and eateries are nearby but not so near. The walk in the evening on the streets can be dangerous too , I was told by locals. Abt 1km away. In all, it’s a good place to stay.

Booked hotel room included breakfast. It was fasting (Ramadan)Hotel offered early breakfast for fasting. Food was delicious.
