It's very good and cost-effective. We stayed in a twin room with two single beds and a massage bed. The view was great and it's most suitable for two adults and one child. The hotel gives you a bathing ticket. For an additional 49 yuan, you can have a basic bathing service. We tried the bathing service and it was very comfortable. If you are interested, you can also buy a more expensive package for better results. There is also a hot spring on the sixth floor. This spring water seeps out from 300 meters underground and is a branch of Changbai Mountain. The water quality is indeed very silky. The buffet is very rich. We didn't have the dinner buffet, but the breakfast buffet is included in the room rate. This is the most unobtrusive buffet I have ever had. There are many choices, the portions are large, and the taste is good. You can try the freshly steamed ones. Sea urchin dumplings. Overall I feel good and will recommend it to my friends!

I booked a Stone Age-themed room, which my kids absolutely loved and had a blast playing in. The complimentary hot spring tickets were a fantastic value. From the moment I got off the bus and walked through the gate, I felt the service was exceptional. The doorman, the front desk, and even staff I didn't recognize were all incredibly welcoming and helpful. The infinity pool inside the hot springs was stunning, the food was reasonably priced, and the bath attendants were incredibly helpful, offering helpful guidance on every floor. Ms. Lin Haixia was especially helpful. She was my lucky star. I was just worried about getting a return ticket, and she just chatted with me and got a notification on her phone that she had been put on the waiting list. So lucky!

Changbai Mountain Landscape International Eco-Exchange Center — where “eco-exchange” really means exchanging knee joints for enlightenment 🐕🦺❄️ This old dog picked this place as a first-timer to Changbaishan because on paper it reads like a dream: ✔️ 5-minute walk to the Changbai Mountain VIP entrance ✔️ Hot springs inside the compound ✔️ “Eco-exchange” — which I later learned refers to exchanging comfort for character development Location? Prime marrow bone. 🦴 Reality, however, is a scenic winter obstacle course. The hotel is thoughtfully scattered across three separate buildings — one for check-in and breakfast, another for hot springs, and because suspense is important in life, the Food Plaza lives in yet another building. In winter. On ice. With wind that slaps. Not exactly age-old-dog friendly. I waddled. I shuffled. I negotiated with my knees. At one point I believe my soul lagged behind and had to catch up. To offset this Arctic triathlon, the staff are available 24/7 on WeChat, responding faster than I can type “why did I choose this hotel?” Efficiency deserves a respectful tail wag. 🐾 Now let’s talk Food Plaza, the hotel’s redemption arc. The food is genuinely scrumptious, warming, and emotionally supportive after being bullied by Changbai winds. Takeaway is allowed — which means you carry it yourself. Eco-exchange again. This dog fetches his own dinner. 🥸 Then there’s the hot spring schedule. Opens at 13:30. When the mountain is closed and the hot spring is closed what exactly is an old dog meant to do? Stare into the snow? Question life decisions? Age visibly? Ah yes — write this review. ✔️ ⚠️ Now, the bone that refuses to go down smoothly. Despite having a relaxed stay, I felt continuously pressed for a 5-star review — on departure day from the first meeting in the lobby to gentle reminders all the way up the bus. At that point, it stopped feeling like hospitality and started feeling like an exam I didn’t sign up for. It made me sad, actually — because it suggests staff performance may be chained to guest reviews like sled dogs pulling corporate KPIs. Trip.com, if you’re listening: no guest should ever be pressured to review. The moment reviews are pushed, ratings stop being honest and start being decorative. This old dog is an independent reviewer. I don’t bark on command. I don’t roll over for stars. And the harder the push, the more my paw hovers over the lowest rating out of pure principle. Still — despite the ice, the walking, the soul-searching — the location alone makes this a smart base for Changbaishan first-timers. Just come prepared with: • good boots • strong knees • emotional resilience • and the confidence to say, “I will rate when I’m ready.” ⸻ #Dogevangelistauthor #patiencechee #BoneofLoyalty #BoneofBranding #DontBuyAdoptADog #AdoptDontShop #ResponsiblePetOwnership #ChangbaiMountain #Changbaishan #Tianchi #HeavenLake #ChangbaiMountainHotel #HotSpringHotel #WinterTravelChina #EcoExchangeCenter #VIPEntrance #OldDogTravels #SlowTravel #HotSpringLife #MountainRetreat #FirstTimeChangbaishan

The hotel facilities are great, with a hot spring and comfortable rooms. We also booked a handpan experience and a photoshoot, both of which were good. The only suggestion I have is that I'm not sure if management has set some strange KPIs, but the experience of staff asking for positive reviews was not great, especially since they asked to mention specific names. No wonder the comment section is full of names being mentioned, but honestly, the service wasn't memorable enough for me to recall any names. Each staff member was diligent and did what they were supposed to, but most of them didn't have a smile on their face. Whether in the restaurant or other areas, the staff seemed very flustered, hurried, and expressionless, which doesn't really fit the vibe of a resort hotel. Interestingly, the outsourced services like the handpan instructors, hot spring restaurant staff, and photographers showed a bit more warmth and naturalness. Management really needs to consider why this is the case.

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is super convenient, just a few minutes from the ski resort, with easy access to dining and shopping. The room was exceptionally clean, even the bathroom grout was spotless. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent; not a sound disturbed us all night. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, checking us in super quickly and proactively recommending local hidden gems and eateries. The Wi-Fi signal was stable, there were plenty of charging outlets, hot water was readily available, and the toiletries were high-quality. The value for money is incredible; I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely stay here again for my next ski trip! **For Families:** Choosing the right hotel is so important when traveling with kids! This place perfectly met our family's needs. The room was prepped with children's books and small toys, and our baby started playing happily the moment we walked in. Breakfast had special kids' tableware, and the staff even brought our child a small cake, such thoughtful details. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the amusement park, offers free parking, and free luggage storage, saving us the hassle of rushing with a child. The room was spacious, the bed height was suitable for children, and the cleanliness was excellent, so we didn't have to worry about the baby touching things. All the staff were incredibly patient and gentle with children, making the entire stay stress-free. I'll bring my parents here next time! **For Business Travelers:** I was so pleasantly surprised by this hotel for my business trip! It's in the heart of the city center, close to my work location, and within walking distance. The room's soundproofing was superb, allowing me to work late into the night undisturbed. The desk was spacious and flat, with plenty of charging outlets around, so I could charge my laptop and phone simultaneously. The Wi-Fi speed was incredibly fast, with zero lag during video conferences. Breakfast opened at 7 AM, offering a wide variety of options that could be quickly picked up, ensuring I ate well even when catching an early flight. The front desk service was professional and efficient, helping me print documents quickly and clearly, and they also provided free tea and charging cable rental services. The overall experience was simple and practical, perfectly meeting my business travel needs. It’s definitely on my list of regular hotels for business trips! **For Romantic Getaways (Couples):** Our anniversary stay was full of delightful surprises! The hotel has a great design aesthetic, and the common areas have a wonderful ambiance. Our room featured huge floor-to-ceiling windows, offering direct views of the city at night. We had mentioned our anniversary to the hotel beforehand, and the room was thoughtfully decorated with rose petals. We also received a welcome fruit platter and a handwritten card, making the occasion feel truly special. The room was exceptionally clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the hot water was plentiful and consistently warm. The staff were gentle and soft-spoken, responding quickly to our needs, and they also recommended private local restaurants. The overall value for money was excellent, romantic and thoughtful. I've already recommended it to my couple friends, and we'll definitely come back for our next vacation! Would you like me to customize a glowing review based on specific details (like hotel features, length of stay, or key highlights)? Had a wonderful experience at the Chang Bai Shan Crown Plaza, the hotel is situated at the gate of the Chang Bai Shan national park, making it incredibly convenient to travel to the park itself. Before checking in the hotel assigned me a customer manager to help arrange my pick up from the train station. The hotel also has excellent hot springs it’s an incredible experience to be enjoying the hot springs in minus 30 degrees. Special thanks to the duty managers 姜姜 and 小庄, they were very professional with their work and always answered my queries promptly.

Facilities: Complete facilities Hygiene: Cleaned very well Environment: Nice Service: Very good service, answers to all questions I chose Changchun the night before the National Day trip, and booked Cherry Hotel early in the morning. There are enough rooms and the price-performance ratio is quite high When we arrived, my father took the children to see the room and decided to stay Next to the Middle East Market, you can walk there in less than 10 minutes Breakfast is rich and very enjoyable It has its own Japanese food restaurant and hot spring restaurant The road in front (Ziyou Road) is 5.1 kilometers away from Changchun Zoo and Botanical Garden, which is quite convenient There are many people and cars during the National Day, so we took a taxi and the taxi came very quickly It is also very convenient to go to Jingyuetan The hotel is in a good location The whole family is very happy staying here

The check-in was very fast. Xinxue provided great service and upgraded the room. Because the Marriott benefits booked by Ctrip could not be used, they sent fruits after explaining, which was very heartwarming. The overall hotel environment is good and there is a heated swimming pool. Suggestion: since it is a hotel booked by Ctrip for parents and children, the children's supplies are only toothbrushes and slippers. I hope that children's shampoo, shower gel and bathrobes can be added in the future.

I highly recommend Huansen Guanzhi B&B. This is by far the best B&B experience I've ever had. My review is guaranteed to be authentic and not an advertisement: 1. The B&B is located within the Enduli commercial district, with a wide array of shopping and dining options. The owner thoughtfully arranged a free shuttle service, ensuring a seamless journey from the train station directly to the B&B's doorstep. 2. The B&B's amenities are exceptionally comprehensive: they offer a fantastic breakfast with various self-service options, freshly cooked noodles, coffee, and other beverages. Furthermore, there's an outdoor hot spring, providing an excellent experience in winter where the air temperature is -25°C while the water is a comfortable 40°C. 3. The staff at the B&B were incredibly warm and provided very prompt assistance. Whether it was the shuttle service, helping with our luggage, or doing laundry, everything was handled efficiently and promptly, which we greatly appreciated. 4. The room facilities themselves are excellent. The bedding in our room type was very clean, and they even provided various Changbai Mountain specialty beverages. When we wanted to brew some tea, the owner even offered his personal tea set. Our room type also had a small balcony, offering a wonderful view for relaxation. The B&B provides L'Occitane toiletries, which contributed to a very pleasant bathing experience.

Transitioning from the Wanda Hyatt to this hotel was like moving from hell to heaven. The price was comparable (even 100 cheaper), yet everything, from service to amenities, was vastly superior. Upon entering the room, we found honey tea already brewed in a thermos and a beautifully arranged fruit platter. (They provide different nightly tea drinks and fresh fruit daily throughout your stay, featuring local specialties like peaches and blueberries.) The in-room coffee and tea selection were elevated by several notches, and we even received a small jar of linden honey (it was so delicious, I ended up buying some!). In the evenings, the lobby bar offered complimentary beverages and alcoholic drinks. The Hyatt, on the other hand, only had a selection of chargeable snacks and drinks, with common fruits like apples and bananas only available on the day of check-in. The hot spring pools here offer an unbeatable view, and the overall hot spring environment is fantastic. We even spotted several chipmunks! Going in the afternoon meant there was hardly anyone around, allowing us to take photos freely. The Wanda's summer hot springs, however, were a stark contrast – it was like a sardine can, with people crammed around every pool, and a 2-3 person queue for each shower (though strangely, the men's showers had no queues). Given that this hotel is less crowded, we were always able to snag a lovely window seat for breakfast. The breakfast spread was incredibly refined, featuring delicacies like shrimp dumplings, siu mai, soup dumplings, chicken feet, spare ribs, and large prawns. They also offered different noodle dishes daily, including Tonkotsu ramen. The soy milk and various porridges were significantly superior to the mass-produced options often found elsewhere. While the sheer variety might not match that of bustling, queue-heavy hotels like the Hyatt, it absolutely triumphs in terms of quality! This hotel provides a full set of children's amenities, including adorable slippers, bathrobes, and even kid-friendly body lotion. In stark contrast, the Hyatt only offered children's slippers and bathrobes (during my multi-day stay, one day they even missed the bathrobe entirely), with absolutely no other provisions – even the toothbrushes provided were adult-sized. The shuttle service here is excellent: a private car and dedicated driver for each family. They were also very helpful with luggage, and the timing was always perfect – we'd just finish exploring the area and the car would be ready to pick us up. If I were forced to find a fault, it would be that the flooring in some areas felt a bit old and had a tendency to creak.

MM741677****The front desk staff were quick and professional. We even got a room upgrade! The hotel's location is great, close to the North Scenic Area, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The breakfast had a good variety and tasted delicious. The environment is exquisite and comfortable, and the hygiene is clean and tidy. The hotel staff were exceptionally nice, especially the front desk lady. During the 817 Rice Festival, it was impossible to find a taxi, so the hotel even arranged a car to pick us up.

NNina_QuPark Hyatt Changbaishan | The Pros and Cons of a Family Ski Trip We recently took our two kids to Park Hyatt Changbaishan, and were warmly welcomed right from check-in – the hotel thoughtfully upgraded us to a main building room with an extra bed, understanding our family's needs, which saved us a lot of hassle! The outdoor balcony of our suite was a hidden gem, offering incredible views. We watched the sunrise over the snowy mountains with clouds rolling in, and during the day, we could see people skiing on the slopes – truly immersing us in the snowy atmosphere. The hotel amenities were also very convenient; we could rent ski equipment right downstairs at the snow house, and there was even a mini Bognar counter to browse. Being so close to the ski resort was a huge plus. However, there were a few minor issues. The direct ski-out slope was better suited for beginner snowboarders. As dual-boarders, we had to walk down to the mountain base, and then trudge back in heavy ski boots after skiing, adding an extra 30 minutes of 'cardio workout' – which really detracted from the experience. The outdoor hot springs were definitely a lifesaver in winter, but our slippers kept getting lost. Walking barefoot on the freezing ground was quite unpleasant! Calling for service also took a long time to get a response, which was disappointing. The room facilities also showed some 'signs of age.' The iron screw on the wooden door next to the bathtub was rusted and detached. When we reported it to housekeeping, we were simply told to 'leave it as is.' The sharp corners of the table by the sofa in the living room led to our child accidentally scratching their leg. Staff only symbolically put on corner protectors after the incident, showing a lack of attention to detail. The breakfast selection was somewhat limited, and many dishes had to be ordered à la carte. This could affect dining efficiency, especially when rushing to get the kids to ski early. Overall, the hotel's location and basic services are commendable, but there's significant room for improvement in terms of facility maintenance and detailed service. We hope for a better experience next time.

Jjiudou1994My stay at the Beidahu Million Stone Onsen Hotel was a mix of pleasant surprises and minor annoyances. First, I have to praise the VIP cable car – it made getting to the slopes incredibly convenient, saving a lot of time by avoiding long queues. The breakfast spread was also fantastic, with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes, making for a very satisfying start to the day. My biggest thanks, however, go to the hotel butler. From coordinating my itinerary before check-in to giving helpful tips upon departure, they were incredibly attentive throughout my entire stay. They responded promptly to every request and helped me resolve quite a few issues. However, the one thing that really bothered me was the front desk service. Whenever I encountered a problem, they consistently pushed responsibility and tasks onto the butler. It made the customer experience feel disjointed – am I supposed to plan my entire stay around the butler's schedule? I sincerely hope the hotel streamlines its front desk procedures and improves inter-departmental cooperation so that their excellent butler service isn't let down by other areas! [Handshake]

Despite the crowds, the hotel's operations were efficient, and check-in at the front desk was smooth and hassle-free, which we greatly appreciated. The facilities are comprehensive, with the bathtub and double vanity design being a particularly impressive feature. Breakfast offered a wide and varied spread, and dinner was exceptional value for money. The seafood was unbelievably fresh – definitely a highlight worth experiencing! The hotel boasts an excellent location; it's conveniently close to both the West Station and the popular 'influencer wall'. It was truly a delightful and surprising find on our journey!

AAnonymous UserThe owner is very kind. It is rare in China for an owner to speak English, so communication was easy. The 3-story building has a tatami room on the first floor for the kids, a living room on the second floor, and a bedroom on the third floor, all neatly organized. There is a bathroom on each floor, so it is convenient for a large family. The complex has a townhouse feel, so it is good for taking a walk around the area. Thanks to you, I had a great vacation.
