I had a power outage at home, so I booked a last-minute stay at the nearest Sheraton for a night. The staff were very friendly, the room was spotlessly clean, and the ambiance was first-class. The room was quite spacious and featured a balcony overlooking the lake, which made for a very comfortable feeling. Breakfast was decent; my favorite item was the 'zhuchanglu'. There was a good variety of breakfast options, but the coffee was undrinkable, and the hot milk wasn't rich enough. Some minor issues that could be improved were: 1. The room had two bottles of shower gel but no shampoo; I assume there was a mix-up. 2. The in-room tea bags looked quite cheap and didn't feel premium. 3. For the complimentary Southeast Asian set lunch, we sat in the restaurant for 5 minutes without any staff attending to us, and the food itself was just average.

I chose this hotel after having stayed at the Wanda in Jiangmen, and compared to that one, this hotel is much newer, the breakfast is small but exquisite, and the rooms are larger. The location is a bit off the beaten path, but that's not an issue if you're driving. It's very quiet, with mostly business travelers (so it's not as noisy as Wanda with tour groups). Next time I'm in Jiangmen, I'll definitely book this hotel again.

This was my first stay at Sofitel Foshan, and it truly exceeded my expectations! Nicole at the lobby provided incredibly thoughtful and patient service, guiding me through everything, which was so heartwarming. The room was spacious and clean, with excellent amenities – it was especially comfortable to return to after a long day of furniture shopping. The hotel's location is super convenient, right above the Louvre International Furniture Exhibition Center, making furniture shopping a breeze. The food was delicious, and all the staff were very enthusiastic. This hotel offers great value for money, and I'll definitely choose it again on my next visit to Foshan!

This is our second stay at White Swan Hotel, and the experience was even better than the first. This time, I came with my partner and we chose a Deluxe River View room. Room 2105 had an amazing location with a fantastic, expansive view. The room layout was very well-designed; everything felt comfortable and convenient. Housekeeping was prompt, and we had turndown service every evening, so the room was spotless whenever we returned. The hotel's breakfast buffet was excellent. Although we couldn't get a reservation for the signature morning tea this time, we did manage to book dinner at Yu Tang Chun Nuan, and the food quality was truly outstanding. Even with a long wait, it was absolutely worth it. Right out the hotel's back door is Shamian Park, and across from Shamian is the Link Plaza, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. I especially love the cocktail buns from Cui Hua Restaurant – they taste just like the bread from my childhood, great value for money. The hotel's location is superb, making it easy to visit attractions like Yongqing Fang, Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, and Cultural Park; we walked to all of them. White Swan was Guangzhou's first five-star hotel, opening in 1983. Decades later, the hotel is still meticulously maintained, with every detail reflecting the high standards expected of an established five-star property. It truly lives up to its reputation as a symbol of Guangzhou. I believe that on my next visit to Guangzhou, I will still choose the White Swan Hotel, because a classic endures through generations.

Fantastic stay! The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation and plenty of dining options nearby. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom had no unpleasant odors. The service was top-notch; the front desk staff were warm and attentive, always quick to assist with any requests. The breakfast spread was varied and delicious. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit!

The environment and kids' facilities are great! The staff are very polite, and there were even some small activities during Chinese New Year that the kids really enjoyed. On the second night, we were upgraded to a twin-bed room with a hot tub in area B, and the view from the balcony was beautiful. Xinghu Lake is right behind the hotel, and it's a short walk to Qianyan Village where there are many restaurants and small bars. Dining and having coffee by the lake is very relaxing! Even though there was a small incident, the hotel staff were quick to help resolve it. The service was excellent and very thoughtful!

This Chinese New Year, instead of joining the bustling crowds, I chose to stay at the Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich for a peaceful, introspective getaway. I brought my family along to celebrate the New Year here. Outside, there might have been fireworks, but inside, it was just the quiet comfort of books and warm tea. In this non-stop world, sometimes being able to simply zone out for a bit, or slowly enjoy a cup of tea without rushing, is truly something to celebrate. The New Year doesn't have to be about hectic travel and exhaustion; it can be about finding peace within yourself, and in a warm space, hearing your inner 'Happy New Year.' This Spring Festival, staying at the Sofitel felt like stepping into a warm, open, and inviting hotel. The New Year activities in the lobby were a big hit with guests, and the free couplet writing was a really creative touch. Mia at the front desk was also incredibly, incredibly enthusiastic with her service.

Traveling with my kids on a late-night flight to Shenzhen, staying at the Hyatt Regency Shenzhen Airport was super convenient as it's within walking distance. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious 😋. I accidentally left some luggage behind at the hotel, and the concierge, Nini, promptly helped me mail it out. Full marks 💯 for the service!

The Hilton Guangzhou Tianhe offers an excellent overall experience, balancing all aspects perfectly to meet five-star hotel standards. From check-in to check-out, the service was attentive and thoughtful, rooms were kept spotless, and facilities were well-maintained. Its convenient location is a particular highlight, making it ideal for both business trips and city exploration. I highly recommend it to travelers seeking quality accommodation. A special shout-out to Vicky, the account manager, who went above and beyond by pre-reserving two adjoining rooms for me, which was incredibly helpful for looking after my children. Her professionalism and dedication deserve a perfect 100% rating!

Stayed here with my family, and the front desk service was truly exceptional! They proactively offered kids' toothbrushes and slippers when they saw we had a child, and even helped us arrange a quiet room. The room amenities exceeded our expectations; the smart control system was incredibly convenient, and the mattress was just right – we slept really well. Breakfast deserves a special shout-out, with a wide variety of delicious options, including a made-to-order noodle station and local specialty pastries. My child even finished a whole bowl of mini wontons! Our entire family was very happy with this stay.

MMAOBEA stay to remember: The Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen. Review of Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen Reviewed yesterday There are hotels you visit, and then there are hotels that leave an imprint on your soul. The Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen, belongs firmly and unequivocally in the latter category. From the moment I stepped into its soaring lobby, I knew this would be one of those stays that redefines what luxury hospitality means. Arrival and Reception First impressions matter, and the reception team at the Mandarin Oriental understands this with an almost intuitive grace. Jason Zhu greeted me with the kind of warmth that felt less like a rehearsed welcome and more like being received by an old friend who just happens to have impeccable professional instincts. His attention to detail was extraordinary — he had noted my preferences before I could voice them, and the check-in process was so seamless it barely registered as a process at all. Sicily and Marsh were equally outstanding, always present at just the right moments with a smile, a helpful suggestion, or a thoughtful gesture. Together, the three of them set a tone of effortless elegance that carried through every hour of my stay. In a city as fast-paced and forward-looking as Shenzhen, there is something deeply reassuring about a reception team that makes you feel as though time has slowed down just for you. The Club Skyline View Room If the lobby whispered luxury, the Club Skyline View Room declared it in full voice. Perched high above the glittering sprawl of Shenzhen, the room offered a panorama that genuinely stopped me in my tracks. Floor-to-ceiling windows framed the city's dazzling skyline — a forest of illuminated towers stretching toward the horizon, the lights of Futian and beyond shimmering like an earthbound constellation. I found myself drawn to the window repeatedly, at golden hour, at twilight, and again in the deep hours of the night, each time discovering a different mood and a different kind of beauty. The room itself was a masterclass in refined design. The palette was calm and sophisticated, with rich textures and thoughtful layering that felt contemporary yet timeless in the way the Mandarin Oriental has always done best. The bed was, simply put, superb — the kind of bed that makes you reconsider every mattress you have ever slept on and find them all wanting. Linens were crisp and impossibly soft. The bathroom was a sanctuary of marble and glass, generously appointed with the brand's signature amenities, and the soaking tub positioned near the window offered what might be one of the finest bathing experiences in southern China. Every detail, from the lighting controls to the turndown service to the quiet hum of climate perfection, spoke of a property that understands the difference between filling a room with expensive things and creating a genuine sense of place and comfort. The Mandarin Club Accessing the Mandarin Club elevated an already exceptional stay into something truly rarefied. The lounge itself is a beautifully curated space — serene, sophisticated, and blessed with those same sweeping skyline views that make this property so special. But what transforms the Club from a lovely room with good canapés into a genuinely memorable experience is its people. Chelsea Zhou is a revelation and deserves a special mention. Her hospitality instincts are pitch-perfect; she anticipated needs I hadn't yet articulated, and managed to be attentive without ever being intrusive — a balance that even the finest hotels in the world struggle to achieve. Priscilla Pang was equally impressive, radiating a genuine kindness and professionalism that made every interaction a pleasure. Whether it was the afternoon tea service, or the evening menu and cocktails, Chelsea and Priscilla ensured that every moment in the Club felt personal, polished, and quietly luxurious. I returned to the lounge far more often than I had planned, not just for the excellent food and drink,

JjerryleezyThis is my second stay at Rosewood this year, and I've noticed a significant improvement in service both times. It feels like Rosewood has invested a lot in staff training. Service used to be a weak point, but now it's really stepped up. From the moment the car pulled up and they helped with luggage, to the detailed communication during check-in, the executive lounge dinner, and the breakfast service and food quality, plus the cheerful pool staff – it truly feels like Rosewood's service has gotten much better. This time, I particularly want to commend the excellent room cleanliness. My child wore non-slip socks in the room for three days without changing them because it was so clean, which made us feel much more at ease... though the tea bags in the room were a bit disappointing!

GGuest UserTrue luxury doesn't need to chase trends. This hotel, though open for many years, still maintains an astonishing level of quality and style. The lobby is grand and elegant, with exquisite attention to detail everywhere, exuding a low-key yet high-end sophistication. The rooms are immaculately maintained; the bedding is comfortable, facilities are complete, and the cleanliness is beyond reproach. The service is professional, thoughtful, and perfectly measured, making guests feel truly esteemed from check-in to check-out. A good hotel that stands the test of time is a true classic choice. Highly recommended!

GGumeiersibahelingtongI chose the Hengqin Bay Hotel for a few days due to work near Chimelong, balancing both work and relaxation. There was ample parking, making it easy to drive in and out. The lobby was bright and spacious, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The room was large with good natural light from the windows, so I didn't need to turn on the lights during the day. The blackout curtains worked well, the bathrobe was soft, and the mattress was just right – not too hard, not too soft. The pillows offered decent support, and I slept very well at night. The internet speed was good; I had no issues with video conferences. The bathroom was well-designed, with separate shower and toilet areas. The towels were thick and absorbent, comfortable to use. The bath salts were great for a soak, the shower pressure was strong, and hot water came quickly. Details like the faucets and tiles were very clean. The gym had enough equipment, the pool water was clean, and lifeguards were on duty. I rarely had to wait for the elevator, and the hallway carpets were tidy. The balcony offered a nice view, perfect for sitting and watching the outside world. The breakfast selection was good, and the freshly cooked noodles were delicious. Walking around the resort to see the flamingos and dolphins was pleasant. The butler responded quickly to messages, which was very convenient for any questions. Overall, it was a great stay.

GGuest UserUnexpectedly satisfied! This trip was very rushed, and I was traveling alone with my child, so safety was my top priority. I decided to book a hotel on Ctrip, and it certainly didn't disappoint! 👍 **Facilities:** Pretty standard. The smart assistant, Xiaodu, was very helpful, even for calling the front desk, which made things super convenient. **Cleanliness:** Very good. Didn't spot any bugs. **Environment:** The hotel is located next to a computer market, and the subway is just a 500-meter walk away, making transportation very convenient. The surrounding area is also very bustling. If you're up for it, there are plenty of shared bikes right outside the hotel. **Service:** From the front desk staff to the cleaning aunties, everyone was incredibly friendly. I kept asking the aunties to help heat up food these past two days, and they were all so patient and helpful. Plus, the hotel didn't rush us during check-out, which was a really nice touch. ❤️ If I get the chance to visit Guangzhou again, I'd definitely be happy to book this hotel through Ctrip again.

GGuest UserThis hotel exceeded our expectations! Definitely book in advance for better rates. We got a package that included tickets and the Chimelong Show. The hotel was quite busy, but it's super close to the Ocean Kingdom, which is a huge plus if you're traveling with little ones – you can just head straight back to rest. Hotel guests also get early entry, so the lines in the morning are shorter. The room decor is all penguin-themed, and my child absolutely loved it. The only downside is that food delivery services are a bit far; I'd suggest adding a delivery locker. The Penguin Butler 2 service was excellent; they were very helpful with any questions we had. We missed the 5 PM Chimelong Show, and they kindly rearranged it for us to the 8 PM show, which was great. You can see penguins during breakfast; even though we ate a bit late and didn't snag a prime viewing spot, we could still see them.

SSuosuolanqiesuiyiFacilities: What attracted me to this hotel was its pet-friendly nature, and it certainly lived up to our expectations. Upon check-in, a pet-friendly gift bag contained some useful items, and the cleaning staff were incredibly attentive and helpful in cleaning up any messes our dog made. Service: When we first placed the order, we discovered that our room type didn't have a TV. Later, when the butler confirmed the booking, I mentioned that we were traveling with children and that the kids would enjoy watching movies in the evenings. The butler assured us they would do their best to arrange a TV, and they did indeed arrange it for us upon check-in – a pleasant surprise! Also, when we checked out, we forgot some items, and the butler collected everything and contacted us via WeChat to confirm if we needed them mailed back. It was truly a thoughtful, attentive, and warm service experience. Highly recommended! 👍 Cleanliness: The room was clean, and the air purifier prevented any unpleasant odors. One area for improvement was the shower water pressure, which was a bit too gentle. A stronger water pressure would have made the showering experience much better. 😄 As a family of five with furry friends, we would definitely come back for a second visit. The Ayana community is indeed a great place to relax and unwind.

GGuest UserThe room facilities offer decent value for money, and parking with charging is convenient. However, the service was truly abysmal, and this is the first time in two years I've felt compelled to leave a review due to service. Firstly, I arrived quite late on the first day and asked if any latex pillows were available, but the hotel said they were all out. On the second day, before heading out, I left a note requesting a latex pillow. When I returned that evening, it still wasn't there. I called housekeeping to ask again, and they said there were none, with quite an unfriendly tone. On the third day, before going out at noon, I called housekeeping and specifically requested a latex pillow for that night. They readily agreed on the phone, but when I returned in the evening, it still wasn't there. I was utterly speechless. Additionally, the room cleaning was very mediocre. I brewed a pot of tea on the first night, and the next day, they only cleaned my small cup but not the teapot. The same thing happened on the third day, which clearly shows the cleaning was very careless.

YYyy1cantOn vacation in Shenzhen, I missed my return flight. For the first few days, I stayed at the Kaisa Marriott (far from the airport, by the sea), but I didn't want to travel back and forth and risk missing another flight. So, I found a nice hotel nearby. I have to say, the Four Seasons Shenzhen truly lives up to its name. When I checked in, the front desk attendant was incredibly friendly and approachable, which was a refreshing change from the cold, robotic service at some other hotels – definitely worth praising. Then there's the lobby, the natural light is absolutely unbeatable! There's a grand piano next to the bar, and we happened to see someone playing it. The soft sunlight streaming in made for a truly delightful scene, giving me an excellent first impression of the hotel. As for the room, I was very pleased with the fantastic sound quality of the speakers and the superb view. Although it wasn't on a high floor (I personally prefer staying in very tall hotels), the high-rises opposite perfectly conveyed the hustle and bustle of Shenzhen. The hotel's location is also excellent; the Ritz is directly opposite the Four Seasons, it's only about ten kilometers from the airport, and there's a pedestrian street right next door, making it incredibly convenient to go anywhere. Around 10 PM, we had a few cocktails at the lobby bar, and the atmosphere was super chill. Now, for some minor suggestions after listing the pros. First, the lobby bar closes way too early! It stops service at 11 PM. The front desk attendant even joked, ”I also think drinks should be enjoyed until the early morning hours.” I hope the bar can stay open until midnight so we can relax, chat, and enjoy the Shenzhen vibe a bit longer. Also, I hope the doormen can be a bit more attentive. Since there were four of us arriving in a business van, and each of us had luggage, I wished the doorman would react more quickly and have two more people help with our bags, instead of just one person deliberating on how to carry all our luggage. But these are minor issues. All in all, this Four Seasons experience was a quintessential luxury hotel stay. I hope the hotel continues to strive and maintain the Four Seasons' reputation and service. I look forward to even more delightful surprises on my next stay.

OoricolorChose Mandarin Oriental for our anniversary staycation, and it was a great choice! Loved all the beautiful flowers, definitely a plus. We stayed in an Executive Club Room, so check-in and check-out were conveniently handled at the 24th-floor lounge. It was so relaxing to sit down, enjoy some afternoon tea, and wait for our room. The afternoon tea at Mandarin Oriental was exactly to my liking, especially the savory bites – really nice! The hotel itself is a bit older, but you can tell it's very well-maintained and they're clearly making an effort to update facilities to enhance the guest experience. Service-wise, we were lucky to encounter some really wonderful ladies, especially Cora on our second day who went above and beyond for us. She was always so enthusiastic and patient in her responses, truly deserving of full marks. Looking forward to our next stay!
