"My friends and I decided to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with a staycation at the Sofitel Foshan, and it was absolutely perfect! The biggest highlight of the hotel is its 'what you see is what you can buy' concept – all the soft furnishings and furniture throughout the hotel are exquisite, high-end, and stylish, yet timeless. The location is incredibly convenient; you can step right downstairs and explore large furniture exhibition halls, making it perfect for both relaxation and browsing home decor. It's especially great for a casual get-together with friends. I must give a special shout-out to Nicole from Guest Relations in the lobby. Her service was gentle and professional, and her attitude was exceptional. She was patient and thorough during check-in, and the check-out process was quick and efficient. The entire experience was hassle-free and smooth, which was incredibly pleasant. The hotel's security staff are also very responsible, with regular patrols and well-managed entry/exit procedures, making the overall environment safe and secure. The room was clean, tidy, and offered a luxurious and comfortable ambiance. Our short Mid-Autumn Festival stay was very enjoyable, and it's definitely a place worth returning to!"

"Enjoyed our stay, overall experience was good, but not special. Room was nice and big and very clean. We stayed in deluxe suite in building A. No complaints for the room. There were fruits waiting in the room when we arrived, but no water bottles. I guess they were forgotten and the staff brought water quickly once we called about it. Indoor areas look nice and well maintained overall, although the lobby was quite dark in the evening. Outdoor areas were basically nice, but the hotel looks a bit dirty and worn from outside, and it seemed the same way for the other outdoor areas. Pool looked nice even though we didn't use it. Service was just basic, no extra effort in anything. Everything went smooth, but didn't feel impressed by the service in any way. Breakfast was pretty good and even we arrived quite late they still seemed to have everything there. Some dishes were not so good like bacon which was very pale and soggy, but mostly it was okay. Coffee machine could only make espresso and caffe crema, no milk in the machine. Not a five star experience, but still good overall."

"Huge thanks to Stella at the front desk for being so enthusiastic! She even added me on WeChat to provide concierge service. We went out for dinner in the commercial district, and an hour later, we received a notification that our room on the 10th floor, East Wing, was ready. Thumbs up! All rooms at Le Méridien offer sea views. I read online that the West Wing is better, and it's true. The West Wing is closer to Wushantou, making it relatively quieter, and the gym and pool are just downstairs. The room was indeed spacious and comfortable, and the air conditioning was excellent. The balcony was a highlight, featuring a large sofa bed perfect for lounging and watching the sunrise and sunset. There was also a drying rack, which was handy for airing out clothes. The distant view was refreshing; the sea truly provides immense spiritual power. The bathtub was huge, easily accommodating two kids for a bath. The hairdryer was good, a powerful LF model with strong airflow. The showerhead, however, was quite old-fashioned. It only allowed for hot water, which was often too hot. The public areas were genuinely beautiful! Several spots were perfect for taking photos. The entire hotel has a strong sense of design and a resort-like atmosphere. Although it shows its age, it still exudes vitality. The original design was quite open, with a private beach. Later, the beach was opened to the public, leaving only a small gate to access it. The outdoor pool is long enough, ranging from 1.2m to 1.4m deep, suitable for swimming. However, it's fully exposed to the sun until 5 PM. The indoor pool is better for swimming, with a depth of 1.4m to 1.5m and nearly 20 meters in length. The water quality is also better, but the air conditioning is incredibly strong, and the water isn't heated, making it extremely cold – getting in was a shocking experience! The outdoor children's pool deserves praise. During the National Day holiday, bubbles were intermittently released between 4 and 5 PM, and the kids had an absolute blast. The sand near the hotel entrance is finer, but it gets coarser closer to the sea. The water quality isn't very clean, with quite a few foreign objects and about four or five small dead fish visible. Walking towards Wushantou from the beach, there's a rocky area perfect for tide pooling, which is very convenient. Regarding the buffet, perhaps due to being in a resort area with limited resources, it can't compare to other Marriott hotels in the Pearl River Delta. The dinner selection was relatively more varied, but breakfast was just basic. You'll definitely fill up, but don't go in with high expectations."
