Our family of three was on our way from Hong Kong back to Guangxi when we passed through Yangjiang. With our young baby, we decided to make a last-minute stop to get off the highway and find a hotel for the night. This hotel turned out to be the best value-for-money 5-star hotel we've ever stayed at! The staff at check-in were incredibly friendly. Our room was super spacious, spotlessly clean, and the amenities were complete and comfortable. We'll definitely choose this hotel again if we're ever passing through Yangjiang in the future.

I chose this hotel after having stayed at the Wanda in Jiangmen, and compared to that one, this hotel is much newer, the breakfast is small but exquisite, and the rooms are larger. The location is a bit off the beaten path, but that's not an issue if you're driving. It's very quiet, with mostly business travelers (so it's not as noisy as Wanda with tour groups). Next time I'm in Jiangmen, I'll definitely book this hotel again.

Came to Foshan to buy furniture and stayed at the Sofitel Foshan for the first time. The experience was consistently excellent! Nicole at the lobby was incredibly thoughtful, always greeting me warmly and even proactively helping me plan my route to the furniture markets. The room was spacious and comfortable, with soft, cozy bedding for a great night's sleep. Breakfast offered a rich variety and was delicious. The service was meticulous, and the value for money is outstanding. This will be my top choice next time I visit Foshan!

The White Swan Hotel holds a special place in the hearts of native Guangzhou residents. It was the first five-star hotel in the country and is known as the 'Whampoa Military Academy' of the hotel service industry. Now it's being evaluated for the Forbes Hotel list. Out of my love for hotels, I want to point out some unprofessional behaviors in their service that don't align with international standards. I hope hotel management takes these seriously and improves their service awareness, so as not to tarnish this proud symbol of Guangzhou. For the past two years, my family and I have booked a two-night stay for the New Year's Eve fireworks. This year, when I booked, I also made reservations a week in advance for three days at the hotel's Michelin-starred restaurant. Upon check-in, the front desk only pre-authorized 2,000 yuan. By dinner time on the second day, our charges had exceeded the pre-authorized amount, but the front desk never informed us. It wasn't until midnight that I found a notice slipped under my door, informing me of the excess. Several hours had passed since dinner and going to bed, so why wait until the middle of the night to do this? First, since I had pre-booked three days of dining at the Michelin-starred restaurant, the front desk should have pre-authorized a higher amount upon check-in to facilitate signing, or at least asked if we had any signing needs. If the first step wasn't handled correctly, then when we settled the bill around 7 PM, we should have been told to go to the front desk to pay an additional deposit, instead of being informed secretly in the middle of the night. Second, as I'm a coffee drinker, I called guest services for a few coffee capsules. A few minutes after hanging up, the front desk called back and asked, ”Do you have a coffee machine in your room?” I patiently replied that I did. Afterwards, I thought to myself, why would I ask for coffee capsules if I didn't have a coffee machine in my room? With a room rate of six or seven thousand yuan, would I be greedy for a few coffee capsules? This is the first time I've encountered a five-star hotel asking a guest something like this. It makes me wonder if the front desk staff are properly trained before being put on duty. I called to complain about the issue that night, and the person who answered said they would definitely report it and that someone would contact me the next morning. However, by the time I checked out the next day, no one had discussed the issue I raised. This shows a complete lack of concern for customer feedback, only superficial responses, and no attempt to resolve or improve things. I'm writing this in hopes that management will see it. It's normal for issues to arise in a hotel, but the ability to acknowledge and resolve them is what distinguishes a professional hotel. I'd like to specially commend the hotel's housekeeping staff; every one of them was enthusiastic and professional. They worked hard during the New Year. The concierge staff were also very professional and proactive, especially Zhang Wenling, whose professional, proactive, enthusiastic, and thoughtful service made guests feel very welcome. The restaurant staff were also very proactive and attentive, highly commendable! 👍🏻

Guangzhou Airport Hotel | A perfect 5-star review! The top choice for airport transits/early morning flights. I wholeheartedly recommend Guangzhou Airport Hotel; it's the best accommodation around Baiyun Airport, and my entire experience exceeded expectations! The hotel's location is superb, right next to Baiyun Airport, offering 24-hour complimentary shuttle service on demand. The driver was punctual and friendly, so there's no need to rush even with luggage. It only takes a few minutes to get from the hotel to the terminal, which is incredibly convenient for those catching early flights or arriving late at night. The front desk service was warm and efficient, with quick check-in and check-out. The staff were kind and always willing to help, paying great attention to small details. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious, with soft and comfortable bedding. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring an undisturbed night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, with new facilities. The overall decor was simple yet elegant, making for a very pleasant stay. The amenities are comprehensive; the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and there were plenty of convenient dining choices nearby. It perfectly meets everyday needs. It's suitable for business travelers, transit passengers, or simply for a temporary stopover. It offers incredible value for money, with excellent service, environment, and location. I give it a full five-star recommendation! I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I fly from Guangzhou!

The environment and kids' facilities are great! The staff are very polite, and there were even some small activities during Chinese New Year that the kids really enjoyed. On the second night, we were upgraded to a twin-bed room with a hot tub in area B, and the view from the balcony was beautiful. Xinghu Lake is right behind the hotel, and it's a short walk to Qianyan Village where there are many restaurants and small bars. Dining and having coffee by the lake is very relaxing! Even though there was a small incident, the hotel staff were quick to help resolve it. The service was excellent and very thoughtful!

This Chinese New Year, instead of joining the bustling crowds, I chose to stay at the Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich for a peaceful, introspective getaway. I brought my family along to celebrate the New Year here. Outside, there might have been fireworks, but inside, it was just the quiet comfort of books and warm tea. In this non-stop world, sometimes being able to simply zone out for a bit, or slowly enjoy a cup of tea without rushing, is truly something to celebrate. The New Year doesn't have to be about hectic travel and exhaustion; it can be about finding peace within yourself, and in a warm space, hearing your inner 'Happy New Year.' This Spring Festival, staying at the Sofitel felt like stepping into a warm, open, and inviting hotel. The New Year activities in the lobby were a big hit with guests, and the free couplet writing was a really creative touch. Mia at the front desk was also incredibly, incredibly enthusiastic with her service.

Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, with a gym, laundry room, coffee shop, and lobby bar all readily available. Hygiene: The room and hotel interior were almost spotless. Environment: The environment is excellent. Although it's very close to the airport, you can barely hear any noise. Service: The service is attentive, and everyone smiles, making you feel right at home. Exclusive First/Business Class Security Lane Pass (for domestic flights only): This special lane means no waiting in line for security, saving a lot of time. It's a thoughtful and very considerate service.👍

The old brand definitely delivers! The room was incredibly spacious with amazing views. As soon as I arrived, the concierge was there to help with my luggage, and I was greeted with welcome fruits. Breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious. Elena and Yulia were very attentive; they even contacted me in advance to confirm my arrival time before I got to the hotel. I also enjoyed an essential oil spa, and Lisa was very professional and gentle, making it a wonderful experience. It's definitely worth a visit, and I'll be back if I get the chance!

Amanda at the front desk was super nice during check-in! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, within walking distance to the subway and shopping areas. The room was spotless, the bedding soft for a great night's sleep, and the front desk service was quick and thoughtful. Excellent value for money, definitely my top choice for future trips! The hygiene details were impeccable! The bathroom had no strange odors, no hair on the bedding, and the facilities were new and functional. Plenty of hot water and stable WiFi. The service was unobtrusive yet always available when needed, making for a super comfortable stay! This stay exceeded my expectations! The environment was quiet, not noisy at all, with excellent soundproofing, and the breakfast was varied and fresh. The staff provided smiling service throughout, making me feel right at home. Highly recommended!
