I recently stayed at Yoho Island Treasure Hotel in Macau, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel boasts a charming and unique theme that transports you to a treasure island adventure, making it a fun and memorable stay. Location:The hotel is conveniently located, offering easy access to nearby attractions and transportation options. It’s perfect for travelers looking to explore Macau’s vibrant culture and entertainment venues. Room Quality:The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The decor aligns with the island treasure theme, creating a cozy and immersive atmosphere. The bed was comfortable, and amenities such as free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, and a mini-fridge added to the convenience. Facilities & Services:The hotel offers friendly service from staff who are eager to assist. The common areas are charming, with thematic decor that enhances the experience. There’s also a small lounge area and a breakfast buffet with a decent selection. Overall Experience:Yoho Island Treasure Hotel provides good value for money, especially for families and those looking for a quirky, themed stay. While it may not offer luxury amenities, its charm and friendly atmosphere make it a worthwhile choice for travelers seeking a comfortable and unique lodging experience in Macau. Recommendation:Definitely consider this hotel if you’re interested in a themed hotel experience and want a cozy base to explore Macau’s attractions.

It’s my 4th times been staying in this hotel! I really like their service. The staff are really nice.Whatever I need they can provide very fast. But I choose the standard room no smoking, but when we entered the room the smell was like someone do the smoking.Anyway,I like the smell of their linen and pillows unlike other hotels the smell is not good.I like their buffet breakfast so yummy and lots of choices. And my favourite one was their jacuzzi and fool area.So relaxing!

The place was very convenient and highly accessible to Senado Square. There’s a nearby 24/7 convenience store and the place is surrounded by plenty of food options. The place was clean, and everything worked perfectly during my stay. I arrived close to midnight, and while the staff when I checked-in was a local with limited English, I was still able to go through the check-in procedure smoothly. The staffs were friendly and accommodating, especially the morning shift, which was a fellow Filipino so it was easier to ask for some recommendations around the area. Overall, I highly recommend this place! For directions, simply search Naughty Nuri on Google Maps. The alley on the left side will lead you to the accommodation.

To celebrate our anniversary, we decided to bring our child for a one-night stay in Macau and chose the Studio City Celebrity Tower without hesitation. Right from exiting the port, we could take the free shuttle bus directly to the hotel. The hotel is conveniently located next to the Lotus Light Rail Station, making it easy to reach various attractions. What was most heartwarming was that after we mentioned it was our anniversary, the hotel decorated our room beautifully and even gave us a small cake. There were also snacks in the room, perfect for a quick bite after exploring. Downstairs, there's a kids' play area, a water park, Pop Mart, and Don Don Donki, so you can easily spend half a day just within the hotel. Overall, we were very satisfied, it's really great for families with kids!

This is my second time staying at the Grand Lapa, and this time I brought my family for a weekend trip to Macau to enjoy the local cuisine. Our flight was delayed, so we didn't arrive at the hotel until after midnight. The front desk staff kindly upgraded our room after confirming our check-in details, which was a pleasant surprise and made me anticipate a wonderful stay. My premonition was indeed accurate! We opted for the hotel's breakfast buffet, and while the variety wasn't extensive, the chef's culinary skills were excellent, especially the curry beef brisket, which my family and I all loved. The service, as always, was impeccable and attentive 👍🏻. If I had to point out a flaw, there were a few minor issues: some of the equipment might be a bit old. There was a faint buzzing sound in the suite, especially noticeable at night, which didn't seem to come from the AC vent. This definitely needs to be looked into! Overall, this was my experience, and I hope the hotel continues to improve. I'll be back again! 😄

I recently stayed at the Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16 for a business trip, and I am incredibly disappointed with the lack of transparency regarding their room tiers. I specifically paid a significant premium to book a ”Luxury Room,” expecting a tangible upgrade in space, amenities, or at least a higher standard of decor compared to the entry-level categories. However, after checking into my room and then visiting my colleague’s room—who had booked the ”Superior Room”—I was shocked to find they were virtually identical. The layout, the square footage, the furnishings, and even the bathroom setup were exactly the same. Aside from perhaps being on a slightly different floor, there was absolutely nothing ”Luxury” about my stay that justified the price hike over the Superior room. When you stay at a Accor/Sofitel property, you expect a clear distinction between room classes. Here, it felt like a predatory pricing tactic where the hotel charges more for the exact same product under a different name. The service at the hotel was fine, and the French-meets-Macanese aesthetic is nice, but I cannot overlook the feeling of being overcharged for an ”upgrade” that didn't actually exist. If you are planning to stay here, save your money and just book the Superior Room. Do not fall for the ”Luxury” tier trap—it is a complete waste of money. I won't be returning to this property on my next trip to Macau.

Macau Artyzen Hotel: A Portuguese Oasis Hidden in the City If you're tired of the glitz and clamor of Cotai, the Artyzen is a breath of fresh air. This hotel skillfully blends Portuguese charm with art deco, creating a warm, vintage atmosphere with its use of natural wood, rattan, and decorative tiles. It truly feels like an urban resort, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. Pros: · Excellent Location: Situated right next to the Golden Lotus Square, it's a short walk to Fisherman's Wharf and conveniently located for access to the airport, ferry terminals, and other Macau Peninsula attractions. · Strong Resort Vibe: Boasts one of Macau's rare oversized outdoor swimming pools, surrounded by palm trees. It's a true 'urban oasis,' perfect for families. · Outstanding Dining: The buffet at the Vista Café is consistently high quality. The 'Taste Lounge' in the lobby offers complimentary all-day coffee and tea, which was a pleasant surprise even for guests using points for their stay. · Thoughtful Details: The guest rooms are cozy and practical, featuring APPELLES toiletries and comfortable bedding. The staff are friendly and courteous. Cons: The facilities show some signs of age, and there aren't as many dining and entertainment options nearby compared to the newer districts. In a nutshell: If you want to experience the authentic local life of Macau Peninsula and enjoy spacious accommodation and a resort-like atmosphere at a more reasonable price, the Artyzen is a very smart choice.

The walls are thin. You can hear the snore of the guests behind the walls and in the corridor. On the third day of my stay, a family with kids checked in to the connecting next door. The kids kept turning and turning and turning the connecting door knob violently for a few minutes and the parents didn’t stop them. Terrible service of the waitress at the restaurant. Poor communication skill and offensive manner. When I asked for the bill and placed my credit card on my dining table — and I didn’t say anything else — her first response was “No discount!” I didn’t ask for any discount. She asked me “Are you our hotel guest?” I showed her my check out luggage storage tag and said “I am. But I just checked out.” She responded grumpily, “No discount gah! You don’t have the room card!” I wouldn’t book with this resort anymore. I wouldn’t recommend this resort to people who are looking for a quiet stay.

GGuest UserThe hotel's decor style is a bit dated, but thankfully the room was clean, tidy, and quite spacious. I booked a smoking room, and they provided a dehumidifier and air purifier. I noticed they forgot to restock the conditioner, so I called service to replenish it, but it wasn't replaced even after two days. Oh well, it's fine. The excellent location and reasonable price make up for it. 👌

AAnonymous UserThe service was excellent. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were polite and patient, always ready to help with luggage or when we encountered them around the hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. The pool area also had a heated pool, and the staff there were very proactive and friendly. It was great that the shopping center was quiet in the morning and evening, before the tour groups arrived after 10:30 AM. Staying at the hotel allowed us to avoid the crowds. The only downside is that the resort is huge, and it's easy to get lost if you don't have a good sense of direction.

GGuest UserOur family trip to Macau for Chinese New Year was fantastic, and the hotel experience was top-notch! We arrived before the official check-in time, and the front desk staff, Lulu, saw that I had elderly parents and children with me, so she arranged an early check-in for us. She even coordinated with the back office regarding our booking – the service was just excellent. The hotel's location is also super convenient. It's only about a 10-15 minute walk to the Grand Lisboa, and public transport nearby is easily accessible. Plus, the Western restaurant next to the hotel is really great too.

SSuperDave374 Stars — Great Location and Excellent Staff We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Sintra. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which made our visit feel welcoming from the start. The location is truly outstanding — we were able to walk to the Ruins of St. Paul’s, the historic Macau district, and even Fisherman’s Wharf, which is about a 30‑minute walk away. There are plenty of restaurants and shops in the area, and New Yaohan department store, with its convenient supermarket, is only a two‑minute walk from the hotel. The free shuttle buses to the Londoner, Parisian, and Venetian were also a great bonus. The only drawbacks were related to the building’s age. Our room’s sink was cracked, and some of the finishing felt dated. There are only two elevators serving 14 floors, so they can get busy during peak times. Also, there are no free shuttle buses to or from the airport or the TurboJet terminal, which would have made arrivals and departures more convenient. Overall, Hotel Sintra offers excellent value thanks to its unbeatable location and warm service. With a bit of updating, it could easily be a five‑star experience.

MMikaEmmaKeya and Jim at the front desk were exceptional. We had a new born baby travelling with us and Keya was extremely well mannered by coordinating bell service and walked with us in to our beautifully baby-prepped room and showed us key amenities to enhance our stay -eg baby bottle warmer, kids towel, slippers, kids dental kit, shampoo/shower gel etc. The shopping arcade in the Galaxy Promenade was absolutely stunning, so clean and grand. Food selection was great and there is a huge Apple Store inside. Galaxy hotel also has a top tier hotel-guest only kids play area which is one of the best in the area. As a bonus, Galaxy hotel is located not too far from traditional old city streets with lots of top street food and historical building to take pictures (Rue de Cunha and surrounding areas). This is a great place to stay for all families. Our family felt so well taken care of and we will be back next time.

PPacolongshao✅ Location: On the Macau Peninsula, it's convenient for shopping. I've stayed at this hotel many times. The rooms are quite spacious. It's Chinese New Year now, so the price is a bit higher than usual, but if you stay during weekdays, it offers even better value for money. ✅ Service: The front desk staff were very friendly. My parents had trouble with the Wi-Fi, and the staff even helped them connect their phones!

GGuest UserThis veteran five-star hotel truly lives up to its reputation. The room was exceptionally clean, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel's service was a definite highlight; staff would personally guide me wherever I needed to go, and repeatedly reminded me about steps when going up or down. Whatever I needed, the hotel staff would deliver it promptly, making me feel right at home. Oh, and the hotel's breakfast buffet was delicious! While the variety wasn't huge, every dish was tasty.
