🇲🇴 Macau Weekend | A Relaxing Weekend Getaway at YOHO Treasure Island Popped over to Macau for the weekend and decided to stay at the YOHO Treasure Island Hotel this time. No rushing to attractions, no crowds – just wanted a quiet, chill weekend at the hotel. The Pure Gold (Treasure Island) Fireworks Seaview Room we stayed in was incredibly spacious. The view from the bay window was amazing, offering a direct photo op with the Macau Tower. I absolutely have to highlight the infinity pool on the second floor of the hotel. It seamlessly blends with the Nam Van Lake scenery, providing an expansive, unobstructed view. The gym equipment is brand new, and working out while looking out at the Almeida Ribeiro square view really lifts your spirits. The YOHO Treasure Island Shopping Centre downstairs is also great for a stroll. It perfectly satisfies all your dining, entertainment, and shopping needs. There's even an S-tier POP MART store here, showcasing many popular MEGA series and Macau-exclusive photo installations. I was super lucky and pulled the design I wanted! We grabbed lunch at Five Guys. The burgers are made fresh, the patties are juicy, and the fries are freshly fried in peanut oil. Dining in the outdoor area even lets you enjoy the Nam Van Lake view. After lunch, we caught 'Zootopia 2' at the Bona International Cinema. The cinema environment is excellent. The VIP seats recline fully, and there are dedicated USB charging ports and small lamps. The screen and sound effects were also impressive – highly recommend it! That's how the weekend calmly unfolded at the hotel. Swimming, working out, watching movies, dining – everything was so convenient. Plus, if you drive, parking is free for hotel guests (other visitors get 3 free hours, with extra time for additional spending). If you also enjoy this kind of no-rush, all-in-one relaxing staycation, this would be a great choice! #MacauHotel #MacauWeekend #YOHOTreasureIslandHotel #RelaxingWeekend #MacauTravelGuide #DiscoverHiddenGems

I've stayed at quite a few hotels in Taipa, Macau, and this time I chose The Parisian. First, let's talk about the room design: it has all the standard amenities you'd expect from a five-star hotel, though it lacks smart room features. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and the space is just right – it feels luxurious yet very convenient, with USB plugs and wireless phone charging. The amenities are thoughtful, and most importantly, the view isn't bad either. Right below the room is the Eiffel Tower viewing deck, and a short walk further brings you to the mall, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The hotel lobby is stunning, but what truly impressed me was the professionalism of the hotel staff. Check-in was quick, and the service staff were very polite. This is precisely the kind of attitude a five-star hotel should have.

The room was great overall. Although it had a bit of an older feel, the facilities didn't seem outdated at all. The service was also excellent, and the location was very convenient. There were many local delicacies right across the street downstairs, and getting around was super easy. I had a really good experience.

It was a good stay, room is very clean. We stayed there because we wanted to use their swimming pool, and it was very relaxing the pool is not huge but ok, the water is very warm plus there are 3 jacuzzi where you can relax. The breakfast buffet, not so much selection hopefully they can put more like dimsum 🤣.

I've been to Macau many times, and this is my third time staying overnight. The first time, I stayed at an affordable guesthouse in the old city center – clean and tidy, right across from Wen Ji Cafe & Snacks. It wasn't far from Grand Lisboa and St. Paul's Ruins. The second time, I stayed at the Crowne Plaza near the Gongbei Border Gate. The room was super spacious, breakfast was delicious, and the king-size bed was very comfortable. This time, a few of us bit the bullet and booked a room at The Venetian 😭 – decided to splurge a bit. They said it was a Royal Presidential Suite, and it even came with two tickets to the Parisian Macao's Eiffel Tower (the front desk lady mentioned that the 7th floor is actually free to visit now). The rooms in Macau, compared to neighboring Hong Kong, are not just a little bit better [facepalm]. It really is a city centered on entertainment and service industries, with a different positioning than Hong Kong. We took a private car from Hong Kong, and as soon as we got out, a young man helped us with our luggage and gave us a luggage tag. When checking in, you just give the tag to the front desk, and your luggage is automatically delivered to your room. The room was large and spacious, with a separate living room and two TVs. To put it bluntly… the bathroom in this suite could rival an entire Hong Kong hotel room in size! The bed 🛌 was huge and comfortable, the sofa was great, and the view from the large floor-to-ceiling windows was pretty good too – though I imagine the view would be even better from the opposite rooms. Next time, if I get the chance, I'll try out Galaxy and Studio City too [smirk]. Even though it's not ** (missing original text, likely referring to 'cheap'), it's definitely worth experiencing [evil grin]. In mainland terms, almost all hotels in Taipa can be considered top-tier luxury, haha… especially with all the rumors surrounding Wynn Palace, haha… so much 'color' has been added to it… Macau is truly unforgettable and suitable for people of all ages to visit. Thumbs up!

The location is not really very convenient and it’s not directly connected to most ****** so you’ll have to expect to pay for public transportation mostly. For other hotels, u can usually travel between Macau and Taipa with their shuttle buses for free. For this hotel, the shuttle bus system isn’t very good, the frequency of departure is low and the operating time is limited. The walking route that shows on google maps isn’t quite accurate so be prepared.

Staying at Studio City's Celebrity Tower was a truly dazzling surprise during my trip. The room layout was spacious and airy, featuring a light aesthetic with 300-thread-count bedding. The down comforter promised a night of blissful sleep, while the panoramic windows offered a captivating view of Cotai, beautifully complemented by the silhouette of The Parisian Macao. The smart touch control system allowed for one-touch management of lighting and curtains, and thoughtful details like mainland power sockets and free in-room entertainment were much appreciated. The mini-bar's specialty snacks added an extra touch of warmth. The hotel's location is superb, with seamless connections via shuttle bus and the light rail. It's conveniently situated next to shopping districts and the Cotai Arena, making it easy to attend exhibitions or explore. The staff provided warm and attentive service, from efficient check-in guidance to prompt responses to requests. The cleanliness was absolutely impeccable. In my downtime, I enjoyed a swim in the heated pool or a stroll around the resort, where entertainment and shopping needs were met all in one place. This stay, a blend of luxury, comfort, smart technology, and convenience, truly elevated my Macau experience.

This time I took my parents on a getaway! The main difference from before is that the shuttle bus now drops you off at the East Gate, so we checked in at the East Gate front desk. At the time, I thought the front desk had moved. However, when we went up to our room in the afternoon, we realized it was still in the West Wing (where the old check-in desk still is 😂). This time, the front desk lady upgraded me to a garden view room, which was amazing – I could even watch planes landing! Plus, there's now an additional shuttle bus to the Cotai Strip, making it much more convenient to get to The Londoner and The Parisian than before.

Convenient location: ~25 minutes from airport by taxi; quiet area with a lot of restaurants, coffee shops and convenience stores, but hotel itself has three own restaurants (Western, Chinese and Thai food) with affordable prices for big plates; polite and friendly staff everywhere - special thanks to breakfast crew; own bar has good selection of classic, modern cocktails and premium liquors and whiskey; clean and neat rooms with necessary things, but my opinion: hairdryer was a little old and it took me longer to dry my short hair.

MM450993****A standard five-star hotel. After clearing customs, you can just take the hotel's shuttle. For departure, you can go to the opposite side and take the hotel's shuttle again, which is quite convenient. There are many dining options nearby, making it suitable for a longer stay. Coming to Macau for New Year's Eve is great. There's also a shuttle from Galaxy back to the hotel, so you don't need to go through customs again.

JJennieThe hotel's location is convenient; I'd highly recommend it if you're staying on the peninsula. It's about a 15-minute walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's. Although the room style is a bit dated, the overall cleanliness is good. The front desk staff are very helpful and you can store your luggage there. Plus, there's a free shuttle bus to the border, which is a great stress-reliever if you're not in a hurry.

LLalaTripI initially thought that since it's an older hotel, it would be quite dated, but it was actually pretty good. The decor and furnishings have a nice, classic vibe. Of course, the best part is the location – it's absolutely unbeatable. You step right out into a bustling area and it's close to all the attractions.

MM429528****The room was quite spacious, clean, and tidy, and the bathroom even had a bathtub. Although the decor felt a bit dated, showing its age, it was a very comfortable stay. The bed was large, and the bedding was completely odorless and spotless. I chose a non-smoking room, and there was indeed no lingering scent of second-hand smoke, which was great. Since the windows were tightly shut, it felt a little stuffy upon check-in. The surrounding area is bustling with commercial streets and many brand-name shops. Across the street, there's New Yaohan for shopping, and it's only a five-minute walk to Grand Lisboa. The transportation is very convenient, and it's also great for walking, perfect for friends planning a city walk. The service was excellent; staff would always proactively open doors or help with luggage into the elevator whenever we encountered them at the entrance or by the elevators. Overall, I highly recommend this place and would definitely return if I get the chance.

SStevenOng.Hotel is old and tired, need renovation badly. However room is clean and tidy. Reception service was so-so and not welcoming. Check-in was good though, just the night time when approached another receptionist for my own room number but was given a cold and not welcoming reply. It was normal for guest to forget their own room numbers as they don’t stay permanently. However a simple way to verify was guest able to give his identity numbers and name. Or hotel can always accompany the guest to the room to verify. However this guy was so unpleasant and blunt in his replied. Will not stay again in this hotel.
