Let's start with the positives, then move on to the negatives. **Pros:** The viewing glass was incredibly clean, making for a very pleasant city view. The bathroom had a rain shower. Both the bathroom and bedding were spotlessly clean, and the toiletries provided were of good quality. The hotel itself is relatively new. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were very polite and helpful. The bedside outlets were compatible with mainland China plugs, so no adapter was needed, and the room even provided a three-in-one charging cable. **Location:** The location is excellent, right next to the Grand Lisboa, Lisboa, and Wynn (the original Wynn, not Wynn Palace). However, because the roads are wide, even though they're all on the same roundabout, it still takes about ten minutes to walk across several roads. Families with elderly members might want to consider this. If you're looking for convenient dining options, it's probably better to book a hotel near St. Paul's Ruins; there are a few good ones there. If you're not planning on gambling, you can also book a city view room to enjoy these landmark buildings. Of course, after crossing the road, there's a large bus hub (as shown in the picture), which is a huge plus because you can get pretty much anywhere in Macau from there. The hotel also has shuttle buses to other hotels and major border crossings, and taxis are easy to find. Personally, I think staying in the old district is more convenient than Taipa for city walks; within 1-4 kilometers, you can explore many historical sites, small shops, and local eateries. Macau is small, so taxis are convenient everywhere; the starting fare is 25 MOP, and it cost 76 MOP from Qingmao Port to the hotel. **Floors:** The front desk is on the basement level, so there's a distinction between the 'Hotel Lobby' (L floor) and the 'Entrance Lobby' (G floor). Taxis and food deliveries drop off at the Entrance Lobby, G floor. **Price:** For your reference: I stayed on a weekday in April, in a city view fountain room, and it cost 600-700 RMB including tax. **Cons:** The room lacked a 'Do Not Disturb' sign or light. When I smelled smoke, neither the operator nor the in-room phone answered. The wardrobe doors were covered in grease stains and fingerprints from previous guests; housekeeping likely only did a basic clean and didn't notice these 'common' areas on the cabinet doors. The soundproofing is indeed very poor. Whenever someone walks by in the corridor or talks at a normal volume, it's very noisy in the room. When the cleaning staff on the floor above or in adjacent rooms cleaned, and their mops hit the walls, it caused significant disturbance in the room (as shown in the video recording); it felt like the walls were hollow. Surprisingly, the window's soundproofing was good; despite the busy roundabout below with cars constantly passing, I couldn't hear any noise from outside. My biggest complaint is that the hotel has failed to enforce its no-smoking policy. The elevator smelled like a KTV, and the corridors reeked of stale cigarette smoke, as if the carpets had been smoked in. Passing one room, three men walked out, and the smoke smell that wafted out was nauseating. The 11th floor is supposed to be a non-smoking floor, but I often smelled smoke in the corridor, and on one occasion, the smoke directly entered my room. I opened my door to complain to the staff, but although they were present, they seemed to ignore the situation. Later, I spoke to the lobby manager on duty, who also expressed helplessness, stating it was a matter of certain guests' behavior, and they could only check for smoke smell upon checkout and fine the guests who had already checked out. This simply doesn't solve the problem, so non-smoking, rule-abiding guests like us become the victims. When I went to the front desk to ask a question, I saw a male staff member treating another guest's inquiry with a very perfunctory attitude, not even looking up, which was quite rude, like a roadside shopkeeper dealing with someone asking for directions. Overall, despite claiming to be a five-star hotel, the management is quite disorganized.

Great value for money, close to Fisherman's Wharf and Sands, with free shuttle bus access. The hotel has a vintage European charm, and check-in was smooth, check-out was quick. Drawbacks: Facilities are a bit old (opened in 1995). Not in the city center. Recommended for: budget travelers, photography enthusiasts, and families.

The room was clean and I was really happy with my choice of hotel this time. My only minor feedback is that the air conditioning could have been a bit cooler, as it got a little warm at night. Yoyo, Delia, Erica, Emily, and Zika at the front desk provided excellent service. This will definitely be my top choice again when I visit Macau next time.

The place was very convenient and highly accessible to Senado Square. There’s a nearby 24/7 convenience store and the place is surrounded by plenty of food options. The place was clean, and everything worked perfectly during my stay. I arrived close to midnight, and while the staff when I checked-in was a local with limited English, I was still able to go through the check-in procedure smoothly. The staffs were friendly and accommodating, especially the morning shift, which was a fellow Filipino so it was easier to ask for some recommendations around the area. Overall, I highly recommend this place! For directions, simply search Naughty Nuri on Google Maps. The alley on the left side will lead you to the accommodation.

This was my second stay here, and it wasn't as good as the first. This time, there was a minor issue with the closet door in the room, and the hotel apologized and sent a small gift, which was a nice gesture, though not strictly necessary. However, ordering food and drinks by the pool was inconvenient this time. The outdoor amusement park was closed, which meant the poolside restaurants were also shut. We had to order from the small shop in front of the pool, and the selection was limited. The restaurant staff would then bring the food over. The pool wasn't crowded, but we were sitting in a cabana that required payment. Before our food arrived, an older staff member politely asked us to either move or pay. Honestly, with the outdoor amusement park closed and the pool area so quiet, I wondered why they couldn't just let guests use the cabanas for free. But, hotel rules are hotel rules, so I didn't object. What really stood out, though, was how unfriendly the staff at the shop in front of the pool were. The second woman from the right in the last photo was the worst – no smile, a terrible attitude, and very impatient. She's really not suited for a customer-facing role. I wanted to order another glass of red wine but decided against it because I didn't want to deal with the unfriendly staff at the shop. I didn't even go to the pool the next day. By the way, from what month to what month is the outdoor water park usually closed each year?

Honestly, I loved it. Pros: It was a pretty good price for the quality, very conveniently located next to the Macau Outer Harbour (10 minutes away of walking). You can take free buses from the harbour to all the big ******* and walking into the city centre is really easy. There are a few eateries in the area and while people might not speak English they all use translation apps. The hotel staff was very helpful and personable, they let me store my luggage while I visited and someone helped carry by big rucksack all the way to the room. The bed was SO comfy. AC worked well and the bathroom had lots of amenities (brush & toothpaste, hair cap, cotton pads and cotton buds, comb, Occitane lotion, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel). Big TV, lots of storage space. Cons: If I had to be picky, I’d say the view on the balcony wasn’t great. It was facing the walkway on the right of the building towards some apartment complex in the distance, that looked a bit sad. But I wasn’t there to stare out the window, hahaha.

I forgot to pack my slippers, but when I opened the closet, I found two pairs waiting for me—exactly what I needed! It's rare to find hotels that offer such a thoughtful touch these days. The bathroom is incredibly spacious, and there's even a TV built into the wall next to the bathtub. The view from the 15th floor is absolutely stunning; you can see the Ruins of St. Paul's in the distance. Lunch at the MJ Cafe on the first floor is a steal—for just a few dozen bucks, you get soup, a main course, and coffee. The staff were so friendly, and the place had a nice buzz even on a weekday. I'll definitely be back!

The room was spacious and lovely, and the bedding was super comfortable, so I slept really well. It's right next to Fisherman's Wharf, which was great for a leisurely stroll. The hotel is very close to the wharf, and they even offer a shuttle service. You can also catch the Sands shuttle next door. We celebrated my child's birthday with dinner at the hotel, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. The food was delicious too! I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

I booked a King Room with an ocean view. The room was spacious, spotless, and well-maintained. The minibar items were complimentary, except for the premium bottled water and wine (though no wine was provided in the room). A deposit of MOP 1,000 was required at check-in, which was fully refunded upon checkout. The hotel also offered free shuttle buses to major hotels and key departure points across Macau. The concierge, Charles, was particularly helpful in advising us on the correct shuttle bus number to reach our intended destination.

This hotel was called The Westin when it first opened, and it was one of the best hotels in Macau at the time. Going back 30 years later, I still found the environment to be first-class and the hygiene facilities excellent. My 12-year-old son thoroughly enjoyed the facilities and surroundings, and he insisted we come back again next time. Although it's a bit far from the city center, it's still acceptable, and it's not too far from the newly opened [resort/area, assuming '群' refers to a new development or cluster of attractions]!

ZZailvtuzhongdelaoliuThe lobby seating area on the first floor felt a bit small, with only a few chairs. However, the rooms are very spacious, especially for Macau standards. The hallways and elevators were clean and tidy. The room service staff on the sixth floor were very enthusiastic. I booked two non-smoking rooms, but one of them had a strong cigarette smell upon check-in. I called room service, and they quickly brought an air freshener to deal with it, although a slight odor lingered.

AAnonymous UserThe Venetian is an older hotel. I arrived around 2 PM for check-in, and Willson was very enthusiastic. He helped me with the process, gave a general overview of the hotel, provided a map, and pointed out the ongoing renovations, which actually didn't affect my stay at all. I stayed in the North Wing this time, which I found very convenient. Just one floor down to the third floor is the 'Food Paradise,' making dining and shopping very accessible. It's also easy to get to Cunha Street from the West Wing, and taking a taxi to the airport or ferry terminal is very convenient. My room overlooked the golf course and a peek of The Londoner's Big Ben. Toiletries and water were replenished daily!

GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel for one night. The environment was good, located in a bustling area right next to a large shopping mall, with plenty of food, drinks, and entertainment downstairs. The hotel itself was relatively quiet. The room was quite small and not very big, and the facilities were a bit old. Although it could accommodate three people with two beds and a sofa bed, it was still quite damp in March, and the air conditioning was noisy. It was convenient to walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's and get around everywhere.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is pretty good, right next to Grand Lisboa. You can take the free Grand Lisboa **shuttle directly from the Gongbei Port; the information on Doubao (bean bag) is inaccurate and suggests taking other buses. I booked a twin room, and it was quite spacious. The hotel is really old, with a 90s Chinese style. The hot and cold water in the heater need to be adjusted separately, there's no mixing valve, so it's easy to get frozen or scalded. However, the service is quite good, and the hygiene is acceptable. It really felt nostalgic, like going back several decades, you don't find hotels this old in mainland China anymore. But overall, it was alright.

MMikaEmmaKeya and Jim at the front desk were exceptional. We had a new born baby travelling with us and Keya was extremely well mannered by coordinating bell service and walked with us in to our beautifully baby-prepped room and showed us key amenities to enhance our stay -eg baby bottle warmer, kids towel, slippers, kids dental kit, shampoo/shower gel etc. The shopping arcade in the Galaxy Promenade was absolutely stunning, so clean and grand. Food selection was great and there is a huge Apple Store inside. Galaxy hotel also has a top tier hotel-guest only kids play area which is one of the best in the area. As a bonus, Galaxy hotel is located not too far from traditional old city streets with lots of top street food and historical building to take pictures (Rue de Cunha and surrounding areas). This is a great place to stay for all families. Our family felt so well taken care of and we will be back next time.

LLiluThe Grand Emperor Hotel in Macau generally feels a bit dated, with facilities showing their age and a more traditional, practical style. However, the hotel staff are quite helpful and can meet basic needs. Its location is convenient for getting around, and the value for money is decent. It's a suitable choice for travelers who prioritize convenience and aren't too particular about modern decor.

GGuest UserThe location is excellent! It's right next to Wynn, which usually has the mesmerizing 'Tree of Prosperity' and 'Performance Lake' shows (though I missed them this time due to maintenance). Across the street is the Grand Lisboa. It's about an 800-meter walk to major attractions like the Ruins of St. Paul's and St. Dominic's Church. On the way to St. Dominic's, you'll pass Chee Kei Egg Waffles – you absolutely *must* try one, they're the best I've ever had! Most of the attractions on the Macau Peninsula are within walking distance or just a few bus stops away. If you're not planning on visiting The Londoner or Venetian, this is the perfect place to stay. It's also about a 700-meter walk to MGM, where you should definitely try their complimentary bubble tea; it's quite good!
