The lobby is decorated in a retro style, restrained and cozy, with lounge music playing.
There is no underground parking lot, and it happened to be raining heavily in Wuhan, which was embarrassing.... Plus the flight delay, it was already 23:00 when I arrived at the hotel, which made me feel bad and impatient...
I would like to praise Mr. Guan on duty. Even though my attitude was not very friendly (I will reflect on it), he was always very patient and introduced the room furnishings and items in detail.
When checking in, guests will be asked to choose pillows, including down pillows, latex pillows, etc. I chose a lavender pillow and I really slept well at night😆
There is incense by the bed, and the smell is also selected when checking in. The additional little thought is particularly good.
There are welcome fruits and snacks, coffee machine (4 capsules, more generous than Hyatt), bath products by Galeries Lafayette, and a set of Bulgari next to the bathtub, Roca bathware, Voss mineral water, Dyson hair dryer, free mini bar with drinks and beer, etc.
Four separate bathrooms, slippers are padded with towel texture, there is a devialet Bluetooth speaker at the head of the bed, and earplugs and sleeping eye masks are also provided. I have been a guest of Fairmont and Hyatt for many years. Bagongdi can be called the most comfortable and chill hotel in Wuhan.
Breakfast is a la carte, the environment is comfortable, and the smell of buffet-style oil smoke is avoided, which I personally feel very good. The meals are also well made. For those who love sweets, maple syrup muffins are especially recommended, which are soft and sweet.
Overall, it is a very good experience, completely worth the price, highly recommended, and will come again!

I have to say that the soup house must be experienced. It has its own small pool, and you can soak it yourself at night and when you wake up early. The public hot spring pool is also very good, and the environment is also good. There are few people at the time we go, and the experience is very good. The service The reception is also very warm and attentive, and I will call in advance. Thanks to the waiter, Aunt Tan Chunming, and the lady at the front desk, the brother who answered the phone, and the brother who put the hot spring water. It made us happy and have a comfortable and relaxing day
A truly unexpected trip!
First, I want to praise the B&B's ambiance and unique character. The scenery is truly unique! Unlike other hotels that are somewhat commercialized or located close to the city, this one is nestled in a valley nestled in the mountains, yet offers breathtaking views that surpass most. Surrounded by mountains on three sides, you can hear the chirping of birds and insects, and the vast expanse of greenery is breathtakingly refreshing. It was especially breathtaking that evening, and when I woke up, the mountaintops were shrouded in mist, giving me the distinct feeling of ”after the rain, the autumn weather arrives late in the mountains.”
Second, I want to praise the food. I didn't have high expectations, thinking it was in the wilderness, but the food was on par with staycations in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai (perhaps because I'm from Hubei, so I'm more accustomed to the local flavors). The spicy and sour lotus stems we ordered were very appetizing, and the white tofu was a pleasant surprise. I thought it would be bland, but it was bursting with bean fragrance. Unfortunately, because the hotel is located in the mountains, the ingredients need to be transported in daily, so we had to order a day in advance. By the time we were satisfied and wanted more, it was too late. If possible, it would be helpful to improve the food service.
Breakfast was a semi-buffet, and we ordered dumplings and hot and sour beef noodles. The main dishes were quite delicious, but the dumplings were a bit small. That's okay, though; in addition to the main dishes, they also came with steamed buns, dumplings, corn, and self-service toast and fruit, so you could still fill up without any problems.
Perhaps due to the hotel's mountainside location, the amenities are somewhat lacking. The pool isn't heated, and there aren't any nearby restrooms, making it a bit inconvenient to enjoy the water. The hot tub and spa weren't open either. While the facilities are there, they seem somewhat limited.
I'm not raising these shortcomings to express dissatisfaction, but rather to sincerely hope that this place can be better. I understand that achieving this level of quality amidst the mountains is truly difficult.
Nothing is perfect. When I sip coffee amidst the greenery on a leisurely afternoon, when I listen to my favorite music and gaze at the distant mountains on a drizzling evening, when I wake lazily to the gentle chirping of birds and the morning mist, what more could I ask for in such a beautiful setting? I can't ask for a mountain retreat with a spa comparable to that of Thailand, nor can I ask for a Zen poetry retreat with a feast to match the splendor of the city. This view, this place, is more than enough. I believe that one morning in the future, I will still recall the morning mist here, accompanied by long-lasting, peaceful memories.
Furthermore, our housekeeper, Zhang Qian, was very helpful and able to answer some seemingly challenging questions. It was clear that she knew the place well and was dedicated to her work, which is rare in a place like Hubei, where tempers can be quite challenging. The breakfast waitress was also very dedicated, responsible for cleaning and serving the food, and she deserves praise as well. The hotel's various services are well-attended, and the entire staff works hard.

Located near Mufu Town, this place is perfect for visiting the Grand Canyon or simply experiencing a few days of tranquil mountain life.
Rooms: The overall design embraces a natural wood Wabi-sabi aesthetic, which is incredibly pleasing. The rooms are also very well-equipped, featuring TOTO bathroom fixtures, Marshall speakers, central air conditioning, floor heating, custom fabric slippers, bathrobes, and toiletries. It's clear the owner has put great thought into selecting quality items.
Common Areas: Beyond the swimming pool, there are camping tents offering panoramic mountain views, outdoor seating nestled in a bamboo grove, and even a cozy reading space complete with a bonfire. It instantly transports you to a Scandinavian retreat, offering a truly unique experience. The design is simply outstanding.
Dining: All meals are lovingly prepared by the owner's mother. After a long, bumpy journey, it's incredibly comforting to enjoy a hot, freshly cooked meal. If you prefer spicy food, be sure to mention it in advance. Breakfast is quite varied and generous, featuring local specialties like bean curd sheets, noodles, and 'baba,' alongside milk and eggs, blending Enshi flavors with a touch of Western style.
Surroundings: The hotel is conveniently located just 10 minutes from the Grand Canyon scenic area, 30 minutes from Pao'ershan, and 40 minutes from Luyuanping. Within a few minutes' walk, you can enjoy stunning views of the Grand Canyon mountains and tea plantations, and even catch sight of waterfalls after rainfall. The overall experience here is incredibly rich and diverse.
Overall, this is truly one of the finest B&Bs in Enshi. Highly recommended!

The hotel facilities are very good. The rooms are all smart homes and have record players. They are high-end but minimalist. If you are looking for a luxurious decoration like a five-star hotel, it may be a bit different. But I think it is primitive and comfortable. It is very moderate. I was exhausted mentally and physically by the baby during the summer vacation. Relax and cleanse your soul. My husband said that I will come here once a month from now on. It is only an hour away from Wuhan and this is perfect. It is quiet and comfortable.

MM477989****The hotel room was clean and hygienic. Lying on the bed and enjoying the beautiful scenery was a treat, but the highlight was definitely the delicious food they cooked – perfect for a traveler like me who loves good cuisine. The hotel is located right behind the scenic spot, and in the morning, the owner drove us to the front entrance for visitors. After exploring, it was a super convenient 5-minute walk back to the hotel. Highly, highly, highly recommend! The owner was warm, friendly, and very approachable. I'll definitely be back and will recommend it to my friends.
The only downside was how tiring the mountain climb was, but the scenery itself was absolutely breathtaking. After the rain cleared, the misty clouds made it feel like a fairy tale.

GGugu6666A very satisfying stay. You should still book an old star hotel, which has all the services you should have and new styles. The specific feelings are: 1. The environment is awesome, living in the park, there are birds, fish, cats and white rabbits. 2. The window balcony looks out to the lake, which is worth it. 3. Although the equipment and facilities are not new, they are very well maintained, clean and tidy without odor, and there is no dust layer in the corners. 4. The long-lost evening light-on bed-making service, now the new hotel has long gone, and it has to be an old star hotel. 5. The old hotel also has new styles, the butler service makes people feel intimate, and the fruit sent is heartwarming. 6. The hotel restaurant buffet breakfast and à la carte dinner are good. 7. Visiting Chairman Mao’s former residence adds value to the stay, and I learned a lot of little-known stories of great men. The explanation of the guide is vivid and vivid. Finally, I decided to stay at the ”Donghu Hotel” when I go to Wuhan in the future. Finally, a few small suggestions: the water for showering is a bit small and the drainage is a bit slow.

Very Good
DDaJay23Overall, it was a great experience. We got 3 rooms for our family of 6 w/ 2 kids on the 20th floor. This hotel is next to the river so the view is stunning. Overlooked the great Yangtze River. Night view was mesmerizing. All the skyscrapers lit up in sync around the city along side the river. Jaw dropping. We went in mid June and the river was flooding due to heavy rain. There's a big walk way next to the river where lots of people went to hang out even when it's flooding. Real cool. There's also a famous street similar to Beijing Road in Guangzhou a few blocks down. Forgot the name. There's an upscale modern mall called MixC 15 min taxi DD. We're from California and this mall is comparable to our socal South Coast. During summer flooding season, it may be an issue traveling to the other side of the bridge, so just keep that in mind. I gave it a 4 star for cleaniness because I expected our room to be a bit better. One of the rooms we stayed had this old, a bit smoky smell. I'm assuming someone smoked in it given majority of the population in china seems to be smoking like a chimney. The Pearl gave us great modern comfort to an alienated(to us) city.
1118576****My experience at Citadines WuSheng Wuhan was truly fantastic! As soon as I arrived at the front desk, Kimberlie greeted me with a big smile. The check-in process was not only efficient, but she also asked if I needed help with my luggage. When I checked out, the staff even asked if I had a comfortable stay and if I had any suggestions. This whole trip felt just like being at home. Next time I'm in Wuhan, I'm definitely choosing this place again!
2206190****The moment I stepped into the hotel, the fatigue from my journey melted away. From the warm welcome and detailed check-in instructions to the proactive and attentive responses to our needs, every single detail exuded warmth, making us feel right at home. This thoughtfulness and care deserve nothing but high praise!
The biggest surprise of this trip was undoubtedly the hotel's service! Whether it was the staff actively helping with luggage, kindly reminding us about nearby amenities, or the free daily offerings of black tea, coffee, and a variety of snacks in the lobby, along with various daily necessities – the hotel staff's dedication was evident everywhere. I was traveling with my 87-year-old mother to visit Yellow Crane Tower, and the hotel's lobby manager even proactively arranged for the hotel's business car to drop us off right at the entrance to the scenic area. ”A home away from home” isn't just a slogan here; it's a genuinely warm experience.
AAnonymous UserWhen visiting a beautiful tourist city like Yichang, naturally, you'd want a hotel with a scenic view! That's why I opted for the Holiday Inn Express Yichang Riverside, situated right by the Yangtze River. Its location is superb, conveniently close to both the train station and the city center. The views from the window are simply breathtaking, with the magnificent Yangtze River stretching out before you as soon as you step outside. The room itself was immaculately clean and wonderfully fresh. I'd highly recommend it to any fellow travelers visiting the city.

BBearded WandererWhat can I say? What an amazing stay again. I’ve stayed for work events in which we used the ballroom for our work celebration. I then came here for peace when my father passed away. This was the one place I knew I could come that brought me peace and happiness. This trip was for my anniversary and it was beyond amazing. We decided to to go with a suite and the reservation came with a free photo shoot. Our photographer, Xiao Liu, was kind and the photo shoot was an amazing experience. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the dinner buffet has live entertainment and amazing chefs as well. We also wanted to get massages too but ran out of time. We will get them next time. Overall, I’m grateful for Optic Valley Hilton and the true peace our experiences bring each time. Exactly what we need on vacation.
MM524214****The first experience of the tree house, I feel quite good, surrounded by bamboo forests, wooden cabins in the forest, very artistic conception, pure natural oxygen bar, the most distinctive feature is that there is a private private soup on the balcony of the room, you can soak yourself in water, enjoy it, When checking in, Xiao Shi at the front desk took the initiative to lead to the tree house area. The tree house is in the park. He explained in detail that you have to come to the hotel lobby for breakfast. You don’t need to come to the hotel, you don’t need us to walk over, consider the very thoughtful service, very satisfied travel
SSelf RelianceThe hotel eventually resolve the issue by relocating me to another, better room. But the room they initially gave me had heating problems, such that it would heat the room up to 80° without a way to stop the heat from coming in. At the same time, there was some mold growing in the grout in the shower area. The room they relocated to is a more expensive room and much better. The part that was infuriating was that they were trying initially to explain to me that that’s the way the heating system would work. Eventually, I had to call Trip.com to complain, and that was when Trip.com called the hotel, and then they relocated me to another room.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located by the river, with a first-line high-altitude river view. The scenery is spectacular, the service exceeds expectations, there is a phone call to arrange the room in advance, free upgrade ✌️, the decoration is elegant and comfortable, and the atmosphere is warm. The service is considerate, and the staff I met in the hotel took the initiative to say hello, which feels very friendly. The parking lot is two floors underground, which is convenient and free. It is very close to the Three Gorges Visitor Center. It is recommended for tourism.
