Choosing Building No. 2 at Donghu Hotel Tingtao for my first trip to Wuhan was definitely the right decision. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with towering trees everywhere and a vast bamboo forest. Donghu Lake is right outside Building No. 2, and seeing the shimmering water every day, along with the fresh scent of plants in the air, made me incredibly happy. The hotel rooms are very clean, and the service is excellent; the electric shuttle in the park is almost always available on demand. You can also book a visit to Chairman Mao's former residence and take a shuttle tour of the grounds. The guest rooms even have robots that deliver takeout very quickly. The only downside was the mediocre breakfast; we only booked it for one day and ate out for the rest of our stay. If I ever go to Wuhan again, I'll definitely stay here.

Absolutely worth it! I discovered this place on a previous trip to Wuhan's Jianghan Road. Back then, I thought it was some kind of attraction based on its exterior, but then I saw the HUAZHU CLUB sign and realized it was a hotel. I expected it to be over a thousand, but it was only four or five hundred. So, this time, I specifically chose it for my child, who also loves staying in hotels. Super worth it! First, there's a doorbell at the entrance, and someone will help you with your luggage. The lobby is also incredibly beautiful, and many people go there to take photos at night. Most importantly, the rooftop open-air restaurant has an absolutely stunning view and isn't expensive at all; a set meal for two was just over two hundred. We also received two complimentary ice cream afternoon teas upon check-in, and they even offered 'aizi xianbing' (a local pastry) upon checkout (I didn't buy it because of the queue, but it was a pleasant surprise!). Its location at the entrance of Jianghan Road makes dining super convenient. The restaurant downstairs is also very nice; I heard music at night and went down to find a performance. The prices weren't bad, and hotel guests even get an 8.8% discount. We had lunch there the next day, and it was quite good. The room itself was pretty standard. Perhaps due to it being an old building renovation, some of the wiring wasn't very responsive; to open the curtains, I had to press the curtain button until its light went off. The bathroom light wasn't working, and 'Xiao Ai Tongxue' (the smart assistant) said it was offline. However, these minor flaws don't detract from the overall experience! My mom, my sister, and I were all extremely satisfied with this hotel booking. My mom complimented me several times (being able to go straight upstairs after a tiring day of shopping was really great).

Marco Polo Wuhan: An Unexpectedly Great Stay at a Classic Five-Star Hotel **Reason for Choosing:** When booking a hotel, location was my top priority, and the Marco Polo certainly delivers. However, after browsing online reviews, which were a mixed bag of good and bad, I was a bit hesitant. Then I remembered the Hong Kong Marco Polo, a long-standing establishment I’ve always held in high regard. Trusting in the reputation of classic hotels, I decided to go with this one. **Location:** Absolutely unbeatable location. The hotel is right next to the Yangtze River, and just across the road is Jiangtan Park, perfect for a pleasant evening stroll – it has a bit of an old Shanghai Bund vibe. Next to the hotel is Lihuangpi Road, a charming street with many cafes, also reminiscent of Shanghai. The entire riverside avenue features old, historic buildings, and the view of the buildings across the river from Jiangtan Park is simply stunning. **Room:** I booked an Executive Floor room, which offered a view of the Yangtze River. The hotel underwent a comprehensive renovation in 2024, so while the room's layout retains a classic hotel style, the soft furnishings, carpets, and other elements are all new, making for a very comfortable stay. The room size was also quite generous. Many online reviews mentioned issues with the rooms, but I was extremely satisfied with mine. **Executive Lounge:** The Executive Lounge was the highlight of my stay. * **Ambiance:** The lounge boasts excellent river views and a fantastic atmosphere. The table linens and decor transported me back to the golden age of classic hotels – I remember a time when staying on the Executive Floor meant checking in separately at the lounge, enjoying breakfast there for peace and quiet away from the crowded main dining area, and having afternoon tea and happy hour. Nowadays, many hotels cut these services to save costs. We had just come from the Grand Hyatt in Changsha, where they’d even stopped offering breakfast in the Executive Lounge. So, it was truly satisfying to see that this hotel still maintains the high standards and style of a classic hotel. * **Service:** The Executive Lounge staff were incredibly attentive. I can honestly say it was the best service I've experienced in an Executive Lounge at any 5-star hotel in recent years. The staff genuinely went above and beyond to meet every guest's request. A special shout-out to Xiaoxiong (Fairy)! * **Food & Beverage:** The afternoon tea and Happy Hour selections were abundant. The breakfast was even more impressive, featuring an à la carte menu. This truly embodies the customer-centric philosophy of a classic luxury five-star hotel. **Service Philosophy (Special Commendation):** In an era where many five-star hotels have completely forgotten their fundamental goal of “serving guests” and prioritize cost-cutting, the Marco Polo stands apart. It continues to uphold its service philosophy, truly embodying the essence of a luxury hotel. This dedication is incredibly touching and highly commendable. **Overall Impression:** This stay was unexpectedly wonderful. It offered great value for money. All the negative issues I had worried about from online reviews didn't materialize. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends, and if they visit Wuhan, especially Hankou, this will be my top recommendation.

Location is convenient: It's about a kilometer from Yellow Crane Tower, Hubu Alley, and the Yangtze River Bridge, easily reachable on foot – truly excellent. Service is fantastic: From welcome to departure, the service was always meticulous. When I learned this was the first hotel they managed, I developed immense respect for the person in charge. Surroundings are so-so: Because it's an old building conversion, some rooms not facing the street look out onto the adjacent dormitory area. This definitely creates a disconnect with the modern and exquisite design inside the rooms, but it's not something the hotel can control. Hardware needs improvement: The laundry room only has one washer and one dryer, which isn't enough. The bathroom lacks a light control panel, and the design of the bedside wall lamp is a flaw – it's easy to bump your head when reaching for the panel on the same side, looking down or up. I've already scraped my head and formed a scab; other guests please be careful. I hope the hotel will continue to optimize and strive for further progress.

The hotel is surrounded by numerous excellent dining options. The environment is elegant and immaculately clean. Rooms are spacious and thoughtfully laid out, and the incredibly soft, skin-friendly bedding guaranteed a restful night's sleep. The service team is warm and professional; front desk check-in was efficient and seamless, and in-room requests were met with prompt and thoughtful attention. The breakfast spread was extensive and varied, featuring fresh and delicious hot dishes, pastries, and fruits to satisfy every palate. Conveniently located in a prime business district, it's within walking distance of bus stops and offers easy access to dining and shopping. The entire stay far exceeded expectations, offering exceptional value for money. It's definitely on my list for a repeat visit!

All the staff members were attentive and professional, and the front desk was especially friendly, making check-in quick and easy. The suite I stayed in was incredibly spacious and well-designed. The living room, bedroom, and kitchen/bathroom areas were clearly separated, so even with multiple guests, it didn't feel cramped or small. The interior design was simple yet luxurious, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The natural light and ventilation were excellent, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered expansive views, making for a truly comfortable and airy stay. The cleanliness of the room was exceptional. The entire suite was spotless – no dust or strange odors on the floors, surfaces, or even in the nooks and crannies. The bedding and toiletries were all brand new. The bathroom had a fantastic dry/wet separation, staying perfectly dry and stain-free, which made my stay feel very clean and worry-free.

Coming to ***** for business and visa processing, choosing to stay at the Lanyunji Hotel Chuhe Hanjie SKP branch was absolutely the right decision. The hotel boasts an excellent location, with numerous government agencies and service centers nearby, and convenient transportation, making getting around very efficient. The room was quiet and tidy, and the internet was stable and fast, perfect for temporary work. A special thank you to the front desk staff who helped me print the documents I needed. The hotel facilities are new and very comfortable, and the service is attentive and thorough. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient. I was able to handle my business peacefully and get some good rest. Overall, I had a very satisfying experience and highly recommend it to anyone visiting ***** for business or work.

The hotel's location is fantastic. The subway station is very close, making it super convenient to get around. You can literally step out of the hotel and walk right into the Zhen Tea House. People talk about it online, but who wouldn't want to buy some tea right downstairs in real life? This place is a gem, seriously. Plus, there's a convenience store right next door with a cat you can pet! The service is excellent; they even provide free umbrellas on rainy days. The bed is incredibly soft – I practically fell into a coma for 2778 days after lying on it. I almost had a heart attack on the high-speed train when I realized my phone was missing, thinking I'd lost it forever, but the hotel found it for me. My heart immediately started doing a happy dance – I'm completely in love with this place!

The private hot spring rooms at Jingshan Tianmu Hot Spring Hotel are one of its core highlights, offering exclusive hot spring experiences for guests seeking privacy and relaxation. These private pools are typically located on the balcony area of the guest rooms, featuring a dry-wet separation design that ensures both privacy and ventilation. The pools are spacious, not just simple bathtubs, but actual soaking tubs where guests can ”play in the water,” large enough to accommodate a family of three. The hot spring water fills quickly, taking about 10 minutes to fill, with an initial high temperature of over 50 degrees Celsius. Cooling water can be added simultaneously to adjust the temperature to a comfortable level. This design allows families, especially those with children, to safely and comfortably enjoy water activities in their rooms, avoiding crowding in public areas. Some high-end room types, such as the ”Bo Xin Tang Yuan” and ”Zi Jin Tang Yuan” villas, also feature independent courtyards and even larger outdoor soaking tubs, further enhancing privacy and the overall experience. In terms of experience details, the hot spring water originates from the Tangyanfan Geothermal Field and is a rare hot spring rich in various minerals such as metasilicic acid, radon, fluorine, and strontium, leaving the skin feeling smooth after soaking. The hotel opened in 2023, so the facilities are relatively new and the overall environment is clean. The natural wood-style decor is also well-received. Service is responsive; requests for services such as water and mops are quickly fulfilled. However, some guests have mentioned details that could be improved, such as the less-than-ideal soundproofing of some room doors. Overall, for families seeking privacy, convenience, and high-quality family time, the private hot spring rooms at Jingshan Tianmu are a highly recommended choice.

My family had a very pleasant stay at East Lake Hotel. The hotel is comfortable, clean, and well maintained, making it a great place to relax. The overall environment is quiet and enjoyable. What really stood out was the excellent service from the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful, which made the stay even better. I would especially like to commend Zhang Chi (张弛) for his professionalism and warm attitude—he was always attentive and willing to help. A special thank you as well to the security staff Li Ge (李哥), who was very responsible and kind, making me feel safe and welcome throughout my stay. Overall, a great hotel with great people. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to others.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The receptionist lady was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my visit—always ready with suggestions, directions, and assistance whenever i needed anything. She truly went above and beyond. The bed was large and very comfortable. The hotel’s location in the heart of the city made exploring super convenient. Plenty of food options and scenic spots are just a short walk away. Would absolutely recommend staying here, especially thanks to the warm and attentive service that made us feel at home.

It is a beautiful hotel facing the river, and it is fairly close to the train station. The layout of the room is one of the most unique one I ever stayed in, and the curvy ceiling to floor window makes the room so bright and pleasant. And in the lobby, all kinds of treats and good home made beverages are provided.there are even sunblocks, face creams, lotions for the customers for free. A wonderful hotel.

I have been to this old hot spring hotel many times. The service is very good. Miss 0040 is enthusiastic and patient. I will continue to come next time. I like the outdoor environment here, with birds singing and flowers blooming. I deliberately avoided May Day to bring the elderly to stay here.

SSelf RelianceThe hotel eventually resolve the issue by relocating me to another, better room. But the room they initially gave me had heating problems, such that it would heat the room up to 80° without a way to stop the heat from coming in. At the same time, there was some mold growing in the grout in the shower area. The room they relocated to is a more expensive room and much better. The part that was infuriating was that they were trying initially to explain to me that that’s the way the heating system would work. Eventually, I had to call Trip.com to complain, and that was when Trip.com called the hotel, and then they relocated me to another room.

Upon arrival, the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff greeted us with warm smiles and made us feel welcome right away. They provided us with useful information about the hotel amenities and local attractions, which was greatly appreciated. **Room Quality:** Our room was spacious, immaculate, and beautifully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep after a long day of exploring. The large windows offered stunning views of the city skyline, and the amenities, including a mini-fridge and coffee maker, added a nice touch.
