The environment is beautiful, and for two of the three mornings we stayed, there were fresh mangoes for breakfast. However, the room cleaning schedule was very strange. On the second morning, they tried to clean around 9 am, but we were still in the room. So, they came back to clean between 1-3 pm. On the third day, we left at 9 am and pressed the 'clean the room' button. We went to Sun World Nature Park for the water park and, since there was no hot water for showers there, we returned to the hotel room around 4:30 pm. But the room still hadn't been cleaned, and the towels hadn't been replaced. Both adults and children desperately wanted to shower. We were about to go out and look for staff to get towels when we noticed cleaning staff working in another room on the same floor. We asked them for towels and then had no choice but to press 'Do not disturb'. The room was a complete mess, with old towels piled up and the trash bins not emptied. We needed to shower and had no drinking water, so it was a very difficult situation. Since we were showering in the room and couldn't let the staff clean, I had to put the towel basket and trash bins out in the hallway. The strangest thing was receiving a card from the staff at 4:40 pm, saying they couldn't clean because we had pressed 'Do not disturb'. It's baffling why the room wasn't cleaned for such a long period, from 9 am to 4:30 pm – seven whole hours. Although the manager eventually sent an apology card and some fruit, I never expected to encounter such an issue at a luxury hotel like this.

The hotel is good , location, activities are all good except the dining for dinner not quite good .. foods seem to be a bit salty on chinese dishes … seafood noodles 😨 We got lucky to have a few days sunny although it’s rainy season .. the private beach is nice and can ride bicycle for free .. the kid club was good for small children … There was a chocolate tea section on certain day and bubble party on wed which we missed .. definitely we would love to come again ! The kids enjoyed it 🙂

Our first time experiencing this place at SOL was simply amazing! The private beach and pool with breathtaking sunset views were absolutely stunning. The service was excellent, and the staff were young, cheerful, and incredibly quick and enthusiastic to help us. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive a thank you note along with a dessert from SOL. Additionally, SOL offers complimentary afternoon tea and a variety of services like yoga, a gym, and a spa. The breakfast was diverse and delicious. It's definitely a worthwhile experience for a relaxing getaway, and I will certainly be back for future holidays. Thank you, SOL, for such a wonderful experience!

Evelyn Villa - Sun Tropical Village Phu Quoc Near Khem Beach

Good to all travelers! We stayed at this villa as a family. We liked the villa very much, we rate it 10/10. The house's design is thoughtful. The rooms are well thought out and well equipped. The bathrooms are very nice. The landscaping with tropical trees and flowers is great. Bougainvillea is great. The night lighting of the villa is very impressive. Every three days there is a complete cleaning and replacement of all towels. The linen is new, dry and spotlessly white. There is a washing machine. It helped a lot with rinsing beach clothes, T-shirts, and beach towels. Everything was dry in the morning. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, but I would advise the manager to change one of the pans, add 8 earthenware cups instead of plastic ones and 10 pieces of small teaspoons and add 8 large plates for the main course. In this case, there will be nothing to complain about. Our extended family was comfortable staying in this villa. Everything is completely consistent with the description. The location is in a quiet location in the complex of the same Sun Tropical Village villas. Security with a barrier around the perimeter, video cameras and more. Everything is great, but take into account one very important point. This is a problem common to the entire island of Phu Quoc. The island is preparing to host a major economic summit in 2027. The whole island is one big construction and reconstruction project. And not all the villas in this complex are ready for operation. At the moment, only 30% are involved. The rest are being put into operation very quickly. With us, one of the neighboring villas was fully equipped by about 40 workers, from concrete to complete furniture and landscaping in 12 days. The pace is impressive. So, if your villa is nearby, then you will have noise problems. I talked to one of these residents, who complained that he had a villa for rent for a month, and nearby repairs. Fortunately, during our stay with Evelyn, preparatory work was just beginning. Tips for nearby restaurants - Chinese Fu Lu Kang (excellent work by a professional chef, instant service, full Chinese menu, except for Peking duck, we recommend absolutely everything). Grill Station is a decent menu when you want to switch from Vietnamese cuisine. Com Nha Vietnamese Cuisine is the latest restaurant on the way to the beach. Very affordable prices and excellent food quality. Better than on the beach - Draft Beer Bai Khem. We used the last one when we were at the beach all day. I recommend all the listed restaurants. KingKong has the best currency exchange, while Khem has a 1% worse exchange rate. If you skip the transport to KingKong, then the course is the same. The general advice on Khem's vacation location is if finances allow, then Premier Residence, New Wolrd, JW Marriott. That is, the territories that were closed and completed for reconstruction with half board. The latter is important because Vietnamese cuisine is sparse and monotonous. At the same time, you are guaranteed that you do not have large-scale repairs with the demolition of floors behind your wall. We recommend the Shop-center and farm of sea and river pearls - Ngoc Hien Pearl Farm. You can even book a transfer from the hotel if you really intend to buy something. Service: very good. Concierge is a very polite and helpful employee. Our respect. Rooms: perfect Two bicycles in free use. The manager needs to fix the seat on one of the bicycles and lubricate the chains. Internet - WIFI is fast without freezes. I recommend this villa for 10/10, but I advise you to check about possible repairs before renting.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, and I was a bit apprehensive beforehand because I'd read some negative reviews. However, our actual experience there was absolutely fantastic! 👏 The hotel front desk staff spoke fluent English, allowing for seamless communication. They were warm, attentive, and clearly explained all chargeable services and confirmations. We even received welcome drinks. Personally, I found no evidence of discrimination against Chinese guests. Our concierge also proactively helped us with our luggage. When our child got the bathroom wet from playing in the water, staff immediately came to clean it after we informed them. Every morning when we went to the lobby to call a taxi, staff would proactively approach us to offer assistance with booking a car or tickets, which was very convenient. Generally, drivers would handle our round-trip transfers, with an additional charge for extra stops, which could be discussed directly with the driver. I found this to be very reassuring. The restaurant opens up to an infinity pool that merges with the ocean, offering incredibly beautiful and therapeutic scenery. The beach is a bit small, but it was still perfectly adequate for kids to play. The buffet breakfast offered a rich variety of clean and tasty options. The hotel also has a sauna and a gym, but we didn't get a chance to use them. 🤣 Its location is in the central part of Phu Quoc Island, so most places are about a 30-minute drive away. The hotel also provides airport transfer services, which can be booked in advance. For departure transfers, you can arrange it with the front desk during check-in. The front desk even sends a letter to your room the day before to confirm the pick-up time for your departure, which is very thoughtful. Near the hotel, there's Duong Dong Night Market, which has many food stalls and massage shops. We were a bit hesitant to try the street food, so we just walked around. The massages were very comfortable, costing around 100 per person. There are also many other restaurants in the vicinity, offering plenty of choices! Finally, I give this hotel a 5-star rating. Our family had a wonderful time, and this hotel is definitely worth recommending! 👍👍👍

Quiet, peaceful, and excellent food! The Aura restaurant has a fantastic baked whole fish dish, just as previous reviews recommended. What I didn't like: We didn't get the exact room we booked. We could see the sea from the side, but mostly the garden. It's also hard to get to the store. When we checked out, the administrator offered us a full deposit refund or to deduct our bill from it. We chose the latter, but it seems she misunderstood us and deducted an additional amount based on the receipts. The climax was when we went outside and started talking to the taxi driver who brought new guests, and then a huge argument started! A hotel employee began yelling at him and waited for him to leave, and then wanted to tell us the taxi fare. But we insisted on hearing it right away, keeping our eyes on the taxi driver. The employee offered to take us to the airport for 350,000, but we left for 150,000. Finally, she even got into our car and started yelling at the taxi driver. We barely got rid of her! 😅

This is a resort under Mövenpick. The swimming pool offers various water sports equipment for rent, such as underwater scooters and electric water guns, and there's a fun bubble activity at the pool on Saturdays. The beach and pool are very close to each other, with shower areas along the path for easy rinsing of sand, allowing for convenient switching between the beach and pool. There's also a free shuttle bus within the resort, so no worries if it rains 💯. We have family members with atopic dermatitis and dust mite sensitivities, and neither the water nor the bedding triggered any symptoms. We stayed for ten days and mostly dined within the resort. The food and drinks were clean, and we didn't experience any diarrhea.

The hotel's overall style is lovely, with a Southeast Asian vibe, spacious and very clean. The swimming pool is exceptionally comfortable, both the private villa pools and the public pool are perfect for kids to play in. You can rent inflatable jet skis, underwater thrusters, and other fun water toys. However, the room was very damp, with condensation frequently appearing, and even the blankets felt a bit damp. Anyone with severe rheumatism would immediately notice it. Hotel service was prompt; any issue was addressed immediately by staff coming to the room. The location is also very convenient, with a dedicated car-hailing service that's fast and affordable. It's worth noting that the currency exchange at the supermarket across from the hotel offered the best rates for USD...

The hotel lobby is huge. We stayed in a villa this time, and the tuk-tuk service provided free transfers to the lobby throughout our stay. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus service to the airport, which needs to be booked two days in advance. Additionally, the hotel has a poolside BBQ buffet with a fire performance and a live band show; booking in advance gets you a 15% discount. The hotel staff are warm and friendly, always greeting you as they pass by. It's a very family-friendly resort! There are also free shuttle buses to the zoo, amusement park, and Grand World Phu Quoc. All attractions are very close to the hotel, making it easier when traveling with children. The hotel's buffet has a lot of food, but it's the same every day, and the taste is decent. We only booked breakfast. The hotel facilities are excellent, with a kids' club, spa, golf, and cycling, so you can easily spend a whole day at the hotel even if it rains. The only minor inconvenience was the lack of a trash can in the villa living room. Housekeeping came daily to clean the room and the pool. Also, some staff at the hotel's cafe were unprofessional; they were loud, took half an hour to serve food, didn't proactively ask what you wanted or offer recommendations, and some even had sour expressions.
