Herring Beach Hotel Phu Quoc

Positives: woman and man on reception very friendly and helpful. Access to a lovely swimming pool and close to the beach. The rooms are modern. Negatives: found this hotel very dirty. Our first room had dirty bedside table and floors, and a cigarette butt left down toilet. We then “upgraded” to a pool view. This room smelt badly of cigarrette smoke. When leaving we looked under the bed and found several cigarette butts and an empty pack of cigarettes. There was also lots of banging around 8am in morning from local works which I appreciate is not hotel fault but did wake us up. Verdict: We would not stay again. However, if the hotel has a deep clean and cleaners to maintain room cleanliness it would be a nice hotel. Considering signs saying fines for smoking the cigarettes in the room and the smell is not good. Hope this improves for future guests.

Hello everyone and I want to recommend for all tourists when come to Phu Quoc in Vietnam and need Quite place please sleep in Herring Beach Hotel that place has a good beach.

The staff in the hotel are very helpful and friendly. Close to spas, restaurants and night market.

Room was clean and had a comfy bed. The pool was nice to relax in and the area wasn’t too busy. Very limited to food options but the beach was close which was nice. Definitely need a motor bike if you’d like to explore the markets or other parts of Phu Quoc since its pretty far from everything. Only thing was that there was a slight smell coming from the bathroom.

A very good hotel, the staff is available 24/7 to solve your problems. However, since it was the off-season, the electricity and internet were out very often. Otherwise, I can recommend it.

This is an absolute worth money! First of all: we always were in contact with reception lady, our flight was delayed, so we only arrived by 10PM of 2nd day of the booking. All of our inquires during our stay were figured out immediately and with outstanding care and service! The beach is 2 minutes walking, sunsets are breathtaking. You may always try and find disadvantages, however there is a great choice of 5* hotel and prices higher just as expectations should be. What you visit here: not a luxury, but a modern room with all needed (bath amenities, tooth kit, drinking water, hairdryer, fridge, even a balcony). You also receive fast and attentive staff, which is great pleasure to have. We didn’t need cleaning daily, but housemaids were somewhere around in case of any requests. Towels and bedsheets were clean, and for 140 $ for 6 night this place goes below and beyond!
