It was one of the best hotels I ever slept in Japan. Usually, we try 3 to 5 star hotels in every local capital city. This one is of course famous Prince hotel but it is quite away from the city center yet situated in the most beautiful area of Hiroshima. From the hotel rooms we could see the skyline of the town and the sea.
Breakfast is served on the top floor you can choose traditional Japanese (Nadaman/super famous Japanese restaurant) or western style buffet breakfast.
With a little supplemental fee, I could go to Onsen (hotspring) and it was soo relaxing and the view was stunning. You even can sail to Miyajima island from this hotel port.
The hotel is huge and in a great location, very convenient for getting around, and close to the airport bus stop. The room view was decent. The nearby mall wasn't very exciting though, a bit boring. It's also close to the Atomic Bomb Dome.
However, the room facilities are really, really, really outdated. The decor is old-fashioned and not suitable for young people. I wouldn't recommend it.
A delight to be able to stay in this wonderful property. The property is really new and still 'smells new' the highlight facilities are the shower-room next to the swimming pool and the gym. The shower-room is equiped is Dyson hair dryers and has 'unlimited towels' for use. The room is pretty large for japan standards and the parking here is a breeze. Highly recommend! Most shops and eatries are closeby and you can walk there, Donki (open 24 hours) is just about a 10-12 minute walk.
The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, greeting me upon arrival and seeing me off at check-out. The location is excellent, right next to the station with plenty of dining options nearby, and the hotel's own restaurant is superb. The bedding and pillows in the room were incredibly comfortable, truly impressive – I even considered buying some to take home! The environment was clean and hygienic, and the windows were so spotless they seemed to disappear, giving me a fantastic impression of Hiroshima overall. The only minor downsides were the hairdryer wasn't great, and the shampoo and shower gel weren't big brands, leaving my hair a bit stiff.
It's my first time staying in ryokan with onsen and it was amazing since check in procedure full of warm relation and complete introduction to local habits till my first onsen visit.
Something special is dinner in traditional Japanese way and sleeping on futons.
Onsen with different baths and types of water is perfect after hard travel day and went us into the sleep in a seconds
Very small and remarkable city around the hotel easy to walk around and keep a lot of nice photos to remember
Super convinient location in 5 min to railroad station to Kobe and 30 min total to Shin-Kobe station.
Staff support us even when we need to send luggage to the next hotel in Kyoto.
Wish to visit it again
Opposite Hiroshima University, although it is an older hotel, the room is not small, the facilities are complete, clean and tidy, and the service is very good. There are no screens and mosquito coils. The mosquitoes are a bit powerful. The front desk lady provides a radar-like mosquito killer, which is still very easy to use.
The open-air bath on the room was very good. There is also a large communal bath on the 9th floor. The scenery is very good, so we recommend the 5th and higher floors.
The number of guests on the app did not match the hotel plan.
However, the plan was listed as an available slot, so I should have wondered about it, but I made the reservation without thinking about it. On the day, the number of guests did not match, so I was a little flustered, but the hotel accepted it and dealt with it, which was a relief.
The kaiseki dinner at night was also delicious and looked great!
The location was great and we traveled by car, but there were two parking lots, so it was convenient to go to Miyajima.
At night, there is a dragon boat that allows you to see Itsukushima Shrine, and it is a service that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and genders. I didn't have time to ride it this time, but next time I would like to adjust my schedule to include a private bath and use it.
The guests seemed to be couples of all ages, families with small children, and business entertaining!
I learned that the hotel in Chateau de la Se that I wanted to go to was built in Hiroshima, and went through the Shimanami Kaido. Starting with a cake set, the ice cream service, dinner and breakfast were fashionable and very delicious. The buffet at the Chateaux Hotel was great to be able to eat slowly while watching the scenery because the table was spacious. Next time I would like to come with my son's family. The hotel was very nice and the room and the public bath were clean and comfortable.
Because the flight to Okayama was diverted to Osaka and cancelled, we arrived about three hours later than expected. After calling the hotel, they helped us reserve dinner (normally dinner is at 7 o'clock at the latest). After arriving at about 8 o'clock, dinner was served as originally scheduled, which was very good. The room is spacious and very clean, with four beds, and it looks like you can also sleep on the floor. This room is 85 square meters, which is no problem for a family. The decoration quality is very high, and there is a type-c USB port on the wall, a full set of Sony TVs, echo walls, etc. There is only Japanese breakfast, but the room type I booked can go to a room similar to the executive lounge, which has coffee, drinks, small pastries, etc., as well as drinks, all free. The hotel service is very good, and there are waiters who speak English. The shuttle bus to Fukuyama Station takes about half an hour, and the schedule can be checked on the official website. The hot spring is clean, there is also water massage, and there is a sauna room. There is an open-air hot spring pool on the third floor and on the top floor, but it was too cold when I went there. Very good hotel, with few people.

CCheuk KaAs the only option on the island, although the hotel is quite historic, it offers quality services and well-maintained facilities. Both breakfast and dinner are Japanese buffets, and I think the taste is pretty good. The hotel also arranges special activities, where you can watch sea firefly at night. Although you don’t go to the beach, it is still quite special. Rabbits can be found all over the island, especially near the hotel, where you can see them even from your room.
