This was my first time in Tashkurgan, and after browsing various platforms and recommendations, I finally settled on the Vanishing Starry Sky Camp. My stay was incredibly satisfying.
The place was clean, the service was excellent, the location was superb, and the views were absolutely stunning!
The room was tidy and quiet, with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast offered a great variety, making for a fantastic overall experience!
Traveling with kids, I was particularly pleased. The lobby area had a small play zone, and there were various facilities for children right next to our room. The staff were very attentive to the little ones, making it perfect for a family trip!
The lady in the lobby was very welcoming. Seeing that we had a lot of luggage, she immediately used a cart to help us move our luggage. She even pushed it a long way to deliver it to the room. The front desk staff had a good attitude and helped us upgrade the room. The room was very large. The surrounding environment of the hotel was very beautiful.
The B&B's location is excellent, right next to Guizi Alley and just across the river from Hestian Old Street. It's a short walk to the Kuche Grand Mosque and the Prince's Palace. The exterior of the rooms is designed in a minimalist style, reminiscent of ancient residences, while the interior is fully equipped and comfortable. There's also a private parking lot, making it very car-friendly.

The location is fantastic, right inside Liuxing Street and very close to the entrance accessible by car, so you don't have to worry about dragging your luggage far. The area is lively and vibrant. If you get tired from exploring, you can easily pop back to your room for a rest before heading out again. The service was also exceptional and very welcoming; they even helped with our luggage. My only minor complaint is that the room was a bit small, especially the bathroom.

The room size was adequate and quite spacious, providing a comfortable stay. It certainly did not feel small.
One area for improvement is that Hilton Urumqi should inform guests in advance about the complimentary shuttle bus service to the city center. We only discovered its availability after noticing other guests taking the shuttle back to the hotel. Had we known earlier, it would have been very convenient and enhanced our overall experience.
Huge thanks to Alice from Guest Relations for the thoughtful room upgrade – it was a wonderful surprise and truly enhanced my stay. Upon check-in, I received a beautifully prepared welcome gift, including a generous selection of fresh fruit, a hand-drawn greeting card, and vouchers for drinks and breakfast. The attention to detail was impeccable.
Hotel Highlights: The Courtyard by Marriott Korla's design really stands out with its unique local flair, moving beyond a standardized look. It's artistic yet comfortable, and I was particularly impressed by the room layout and the views from the window.
Dining Experience: The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. Plus, having access to the Renaissance hotel's pool and fitness center was a great bonus; the facilities and environment there were excellent.
Overall Impression: From the warm welcome to the outstanding service, and from the design to the dining, this stay far exceeded my expectations. A special shout-out to Alice for her attentive follow-up, which made my trip exceptionally pleasant. Highly recommend!

The hotel lobby has a very exotic, luxurious, and grand feel. During my stay, they really focused on the guest experience! Coco also paid great attention to the experience while I was there. Any issues were promptly communicated and resolved, offering a one-stop service. It was excellent. The room arrangements were also very comfortable and clean; I was very satisfied with my stay! Overall, it was great, the environment was beautiful, the room was very clean, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. The hotel front desk staff were very welcoming and provided thoughtful service, and the facilities were quite complete. Generally speaking, the hotel service was excellent.
The hotel boasts luxurious decor with a strong Southern Xinjiang vibe. There's a night market and vineyards nearby to explore. After touring Northern Xinjiang for 7 days, spending the last two days chilling in Turpan was incredibly comfortable! Although the outdoor temperature was high, the hotel's air conditioning was powerful. Even sipping hot tea at the hotel's on-site cafe, Putao Pub & Bar, didn't feel hot at all.
The front desk staff, Ziba and Xiao Zha, were exceptionally professional. Every time we called, they responded quickly and enthusiastically resolved our issues. When we first arrived, we weren't familiar with the bathroom fixtures and thought they were broken. We used the smart speaker to call the front desk, and they immediately sent someone to show us how to use them. Their service during several follow-up calls was also patient and gentle, leaving a wonderful impression. They truly live up to a five-star hotel's front desk standards.
The restaurant, located by the pool, has splendid decor and a great atmosphere. The breakfast was also delicious, especially the grape juice and lamb dumplings. This wasn't the most expensive hotel we stayed at in Xinjiang, but it offered the best experience.
The hotel was very spacious, parking was convenient, and the environment was comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful. We traveled with our child, and the 2-meter king-size bed was perfect for our family of three. The hotel also provided brochures for daily tours in Turpan, which we used to plan our trip. However, there was one minor drawback in the room: no separate makeup mirror. This was a bit inconvenient for someone with poor eyesight, as the mirror over the sink was too far away, and leaning forward was difficult due to the sink blocking the way. It would be perfect if there was a small makeup mirror next to the sink mirror. Other than the heat, Turpan was really great, and it was a perfect trip overall.
The Tangbula Shuperis Hotel was a fantastic experience; the receptionist kindly upgraded our room. The room offered expansive views, with snow-capped mountains visible right outside the window. You could even catch the sunrise – it's beautiful and perfect for flying drones. The Mengkete Ancient Trail was stunning, and the path was easy to walk, not at all as difficult as some online reviews suggested; it was a great road. The MPV sped along!

GGuest UserI never expected to be so impressed by a hotel in Yining! The Lyufa Intercontinental is probably the best hotel in the area, not just because it's new, but also because of its seamless blend of ethnic minority elements with modern, stylish design. The lobby is upscale and grand, while the rooms are bright and comfortable. The unique textures and colors of the ethnic minority culture are evident in the carpets, countertops, bathroom partitions, and even the hotel corridors – truly captivating. The bedding is exceptionally high quality, the lighting design is well thought out, and the dual sinks perfectly meet my personal needs. The staff are all very enthusiastic, helping us with directions, carrying luggage, and taking great care of us. The breakfast buffet offers a good variety of options. I'm especially grateful to the hotel for noticing we left some clothing behind, contacting us immediately, and then shipping it back to our home via express delivery. All in all, it's a distinctive, tasteful, and well-designed hotel that's definitely worth revisiting.
MMaiermeiAfter a long and bumpy journey to beautiful Kashgar, checking into the Radisson Hotel was definitely the right choice – it's quiet and convenient. If I hadn't specifically asked, I never would have guessed this hotel has been operating for 12 years. Everything, from the cleanliness of the hallway carpets to the pristine condition of the furniture and appliances in the room, is maintained to a high standard. The service is superb, and both the late-night snacks and breakfast are reliably good. The hardware is well-maintained, and there are no overlooked spots when it comes to hygiene. I felt completely at ease during my stay and highly recommend it to anyone who values a great practical experience.
GGuest UserA very satisfying stay. The hotel bedding and amenities were all of high quality and thoughtfully provided. The service was exceptional; every staff member was attentive and caring, attending to every detail. The staff were all incredibly handsome men and beautiful women from Xinjiang, offering a truly VIP experience. The hotel scenery was also stunning, with miniature horses and lambs perfect for children. The food was absolutely amazing, a true culinary experience. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserGreat value for money! The environment is extraordinary, like entering a secret garden, and you will feel relaxed physically and mentally as soon as you move in. The room is clean and tidy, with complete facilities. The owner is warm and hospitable and helps plan travel routes. Having stayed in so many B&Bs, this one really stands out! Good location, close to surrounding attractions and food. The room is decorated in style and full of details, and you can see that a lot of thought has gone into it. The service is impeccable, the staff are always available and responsive. It was a very comfortable stay, highly recommended!

JJiayinziThis hotel is really hard to spell! Their standards are inconsistent, and they shouldn't let booking channels and platforms dictate their service quality.
I stayed here twice, once at the start and once at the end of my trip to Duku Highway, flying in and out of Urumqi. The first night was booked via Trip.com, and the last night was redeemed by a teammate using his American credit card points. Both stays were 100% pre-paid and confirmed.
For the first night, a guest relations manager contacted me a day in advance to discuss my itinerary, prepare the room, and even ask about my pillow preferences. Upon arrival for check-in, the same manager personally greeted me, guided me, and introduced the hotel. The room had welcome fruits and a cute bear plushie, and I especially loved the bath service. When checking out, I mentioned my next booking and was really looking forward to it.
Unfortunately, during my second stay, there was absolutely no special service. The front desk service was very standard and process-driven. Although the room type was better than the first time, the soft services were significantly worse. There were no pre-arranged pillows, no welcome fruits, and I had to call myself to request the bath service. All the towels were old and worn out.
Is this difference in service purely due to the booking platform? I can understand that different prices might lead to different rooms, facilities, and views, but it shouldn't mean a loss of basic hotel service standards. What felt like a 'home away from home' before now just seems like empty courtesy.
GGuest UserWe had an unforgettable few days here! Initially, I was a bit skeptical about the one-on-one butler service, but I was genuinely impressed by their warm and dedicated attention. The private car service was fantastic, taking us to and from attraction entrances, and even helping us buy bus tickets at the station. The hotel food was surprisingly delicious – their Dapanji (Big Plate Chicken) was even more authentic than what I've had in Urumqi! The chef is from Chongqing, and you can tell how much care goes into the breakfast and afternoon tea. They even arranged dragon fruit into rose shapes, and the coffee was freshly ground and wonderfully rich. The coconut water was 100% pure. And the Chongqing noodles for breakfast were absolutely amazing, alongside the Western options. Everything was all-you-can-eat. We also tried the horseback riding, which was 80 for an hour. The horses were beautiful, and the scenery, especially the river valley, was breathtaking – you really have to experience it to believe it. Plus, there was a complimentary travel photography service. The manager was incredibly hands-on, tall, and handsome, and the supervisor was a dashing Uyghur young man. They truly went above and beyond to fulfill every request. All in all, this stay truly showed me what a real vacation feels like ⛱️. I'm definitely coming back next year!

ZZHL0069Overall, my stay was great. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft, ensuring a very comfortable sleep. The bathroom had no unpleasant odors, and the hot water came out quickly. The front desk staff were very friendly, and both check-in and check-out were efficient. The location is convenient for getting around, and the area is quiet, not noisy at all. The hotel offers good value for money with no hidden charges. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit and highly recommend it to everyone.

XXingyundenvshen1I spent more than 100 yuan to experience a five-star hotel. The room is relatively large. The location is far from the ancient city, but there are many restaurants around and it is clean and hygienic. The room decoration is relatively old and the light is relatively dim, but the price is very cost-effective.
GGuest UserMy top choice for hotels when I'm on a business trip to Xinjiang! It's clean, hygienic, and incredibly convenient for getting around, with all the necessary amenities nearby. Most importantly, the service attitude is excellent and very friendly, especially from the lovely Ms. Nur and the handsome Mr. Alpha, who provide very thoughtful service!
