This was my second time staying at this hotel. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I would especially like to thank the Chinese-speaking front desk staff member, who looked Malay, for her patience and excellent explanation in Chinese. Her service was outstanding, and I truly appreciated her help. I will definitely stay here again whenever I visit Ipoh in the future. Keep up the great work! 😊

Had a pleasant stay at M Roof Hotel & Residence. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with modern design and good facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The location is convenient with many eateries nearby and easy parking available. The rooftop pool was a nice bonus. Breakfast could have more variety, but overall it was a good value stay and I would consider coming back again. One suggestion for improvement would be to provide more clearly designated disabled parking spaces closer to the entrance to improve accessibility and convenience for guests with mobility needs.

The room is clean & spacious, aircon is cold enough & water pressure for shower is good too. Breakfast varieties though not extensive but good enough (similar to the airport lounge) & breakfast ambience is good. Staffs were helpful & friendly especially the breakfast staffs & the conceirge staffs. We have 5 guests joining us for breakfast & the staff helped to see to the arrangement. Thanks. Hotel location is very convenient, within walking distance to mall & famous dim sum places but will highly recommend taking grabcar as it only cost 5RM as the cars don't stop at the crossing for pedestrian to cross at all & when it's raining!

Strategic location, spacious rooms suitable for families, and most importantly, there's even a mini theme park for the kids. The kids were happy staying at this hotel. The staff were also friendly and helped make the registration process smooth.

Convenient and ease as already included morning tickets and night hot spring tickets and also breakfast so everything is seamless. Room floor should be spc wooden as tiles too cold and tiles flooring looks cheap for hotel, not a personal fans for carpet floor and luckily they did not install that. This is 3rd time staying here, good place for our son to experience lost world tambun as he loved the animals here roam freely and feeding freely. Room has a strong smell as we guess they use strong air freshener male strong musky smell to mask the smoking smell before us. Water given to us also past expiry date 😅

Cititel Express - Great Value in a Prime Location! I had a pleasant stay at Cititel Express. While the rooms are not particularly spacious, they are very clean and well-maintained. The staff were courteous, friendly, and genuinely helpful — they even allowed us an early check-in, which was much appreciated. The hotel has a convenience store on-site, which is super handy. Location-wise, it’s excellent! Just a 5-minute walk to Concubine Lane, with plenty of eateries and attractions nearby, including the Han Chin Pet Soo Museum, Ho Yan Hor Museum, and the beautiful 22 Hale Street Heritage Gallery. The Kinta River is right across the road, making for a nice view and easy stroll. The room was equipped with all the essentials: a good fridge, safe, powerful cold air-conditioning, and excellent water pressure in the shower. Overall, a solid choice if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located hotel in Ipoh. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed my stay overall, especially the cleanliness of the hotel and the excellent customer service. The staff were friendly and attentive, and all the necessary amenities were well provided for guests. However, I was a bit disappointed with the room interior as it did not reflect the Balinese vibe I was expecting. The design and overall atmosphere felt lacking, including the absence of the signature Bali-style aroma or fragrance that usually enhances the experience. Additionally, the hotel does not have a swimming pool, which was a downside for me. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, but there is room for improvement in terms of ambiance and facilities.

I’m from Ipoh and brought my Friends here for a short gateway . What a wonderful hotel to stay . Walking distance to famous restaurants and attractions. Easy to grab . Beside a restaurant got a nice restaurant to dine in especially the tou fu fa !!! Much nicer than the famous one . Another Japanese restaurant just beside the hotel . I will definitely recommended for all .

The hotel's strengths are the spacious rooms and the presence of a bathtub, making for a generally comfortable stay. The cleanliness was acceptable and met basic standards, but the overall environment was quite ordinary, with nothing particularly special about it. The only minor letdown was the service details: even though we booked a triple room, they only provided two sets of toothbrushes and bath towels. We were even charged an extra RM5 for an additional bath towel, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, if you're looking for a short stay and prioritize space and basic comfort, this hotel is a decent option, but there's room for improvement in terms of service details.

The first room the hotel gave me wasn't great and had a few issues (I'd recommend checking it when you check in). After I switched rooms, the overall experience was good. The gym and pool are both well-equipped. The hotel location is excellent, right above a mall, and it's super convenient to walk to Taiping Lake and the hawker center (around 5 minutes).
