We really liked this hotel a lot. On the groundfloor of the hotel there are shops, 2 restaurants, very convinient. There is a 10% discount for guest if you will eat there. Everyday cleaning, welcoming letter, staff was very friendly. Hotel has laundry room, gym. Cool design.
We Highly recommend it.
We had a great 3 days 2 nights stay at Sunway Lost World Hotel đ€ The room was super spacious and felt quite new, which made the stay really comfortable. The hallway is a bit older, but it didnât affect our overall experience.
Loved the small details in the room too, the plugs come with USB charging ports.
Hospitality from all the staff was excellent, everyone was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We also got free 2-night night park and hot spring tickets, plus 35% off day park tickets, which was such a good deal.
Breakfast was so-so, but okay lah. Nothing fancy, but still decent enough to start the day.
Honestly, at least 2 days are needed to properly enjoy everything because one day can be quite tiring. We also highly recommend adding the RM25 Malayan Express Lane. It really helps save time and lets you enjoy more rides (both water and dry attractions).
Overall, a very enjoyable and value-for-money stay. Would definitely recommend đ
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and both the hotel environment and room were generally clean. However, the mattress was too softâmovement from my partner could easily be felt, which affected my sleep. The TV remote was also difficult to use, and the internet connection was poor, causing constant buffering when trying to watch shows.
Location is great as walking distance to Parkson Mall and Restaurants around the row of shops opps and beside the hotel. Breakfast selection not bad with Asean and Western choices. Parking lane a bit difficult esp at the corner areas. Free parking at the basement and to tip TnGo or debit or credit Card before driving out of the hotel. Nice view of the misty mountain side in the early morning. Room is not sound proof so can hear if baby crying or kids screaming  or making loud noises next to your room. Overall a good place to stay.
First time try out. Lobby is nice and cosy except personally I donât like the room. Soundproofing of the door is terrible and the theme colour of the room I donât really like it. It doesnât give out a very good vibes. Gym room located not a good location and it close super early around 8pm??? I didnât took picture of the room cos I just want to faster get over for 1 night and check out. I wonât be back.
P/s I read from review hair dryer is Dyson brand. It is not. Is just normal China brand. Quality is okay as most things are made in China.
Ipoh Excelsior Hotel
1. The location is excellent, with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. For its prime location, it offers great value for money.
2. The hotel staff were friendly, polite, and very helpful with their service.
3. Breakfast was decent, though most of the food was spicy. If you don't eat spicy food, your options will be limited, and there was only one type of vegetable. A special touch was the ice cream served at breakfast, which I'm sure kids would love.
4. The bed felt quite old and wasn't very comfortable. The bathroom, in particular, had many 'traps' on the floor â you could easily slip if not careful.
5. There were no small hand towels in the bathroom. After washing my hands, I had to either use a bath towel or toilet paper, which ended up leaving paper bits all over my hands, forcing me to re-wash them.
6. The hotel didn't even have a basic first-aid kit. I accidentally cut my hand and bled, and when I asked staff for a plaster, they surprisingly told me they didn't have any!
New hotel so everything is nice and clean. Room size is huge enough and doesnât feel cramped. Would totally book this hotel again the next time im in Taiping
The room rate was affordable and included free breakfast. The booking was actually for two people, but I stayed alone.
There are a few areas that could be improved. The room looked quite worn out, and the hygiene could be better. The bedsheet had stains that could not be cleaned off.
The water pressure was also very low. Unfortunately, my room was facing a shop lot with a disco, and the loud music and vibrations continued until around 2am, making it difficult to sleep.
On the positive side, the hotel provided two bottles of water, coffee, toothbrushes, and shower caps. Two small bottles of shower gel and shampoo were also provided, although there was no tissue box in the room.
Security felt good, with a standard hotel door lock system and lift access restricted to room card holders only.
The breakfast was good, with a standard Malaysian-style selection. Considering the room rate, it felt quite generous.
They also provide basement parking, which is very convenient for guests traveling by car.
overall a great stay.. good location near to eateries, there was a super long ramadan bazaar right in front of the hotel during my stay which made the stay a little more exciting..
Very Good

Great
Me and my wife recently stayed at Weil Hotel to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The hotel atmosphere was super nice, cozy, and perfect for a special occasion. We were pleasantly surprised when the team prepared a complimentary swan towel decoration in our room â such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay feel even more meaningful. The amenities were excellent too: the room was clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable for both of us. The food throughout our stay was delicious, and the hotel even provided a complimentary supper, which we truly appreciated. Another plus point is that the hotel is directly connected to a shopping mall, making it extremely convenient for us to walk around and explore without needing to drive. Overall, Weil Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you for making our anniversary stay memorable. Highly recommended!
The hotel is newly renovated. We love the view from the room that we can see the river. The hotel is very near to the train station, not more than 10 minutes by car.
Travelodge Ipoh is a household name in good accomodation services, so as my first time staying here I was impressed with the staff. From the security personnel, front desk to housekeeping all are very friendly, always smiling an very helpful. The underground car park is spacious, well lit and easy to access. Check in was a breeze and the room is spacious, clean, cozy and confortable. Will stay here again for my future business trips to Ipoh
We had a lovely stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Damai Laut đ€ The resort is peaceful and surrounded by nature perfect for a short family getaway to unwind from city life. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, and waking up to the greenery and sea view was truly refreshing. What we enjoyed most was how kid-friendly the resort is. The kids had so much fun with the pools and outdoor spaces, and we could actually relax knowing they were happy and occupied. Breakfast was good with a decent variety, and the staff were consistently warm, polite, and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience for both adults and kids. A great choice for families looking for a calm beach resort vibe. Weâll definitely consider coming back
Good location. It is quite silent place but not far away from town. Just walk about 5 min reached Ipoh old town and can have a cup of old town white coffee there. The service is friendly and the decorations of the hotel is high standard and make people feel so comfortable. The price we pay through trip.com is reasonable.
Service was excellent. The resort was really beautiful and peaceful. You really feel like you're not even in Malaysia at all! The breakfast was really good! Had a wide selection of western and local delights. And it's ala carte buffet so they cook it whenever you order! Drinks are complimentary in your room. Jeff cellar was amazing but do note there's a dress code and it's set meal and dining will take 2.5hrs. Surprising I was not bitten by any mosquitoes. But the spring water in the room was not hot enough... the pool was a little dirty which I feel can be improved... overall though a very nice experience and will definitely come back again!
Our stay in Impiana Hotel was nice and wonderful. We were treated by the concierge staff and front manager with in a very friendly manner. The room was spacious and well equipped. The coffee house serve good food. Overall the services provided by the hotel was superb.
Thank you for bringing Bali to Ipoh without us buying ticket flights đ€ the stay was lovely, suitable for anyone whoâs looking for tranquility but still near to the town. Since our room was upgraded to the garden view room, the experience was top notch (and bigger Koi too! đ) 10/10 would repeat again if we ever got to go Ipoh again.
