GGuest UserPleasantly surprised to be upgraded to the top 12th floor! This floor offers exclusive complimentary afternoon tea with both sweet and savory treats, accompanied by local coffee. Unfortunately, we were out all day and missed it. We also didn't get to experience the infinity pool on the 13th floor. The hotel is centrally located, connected to a large shopping mall, and you can easily walk to popular attractions in the old town like Mural Street and Concubine Lane. It was very convenient to walk back in the evening, and there are plenty of authentic local eateries nearby, offering a lively atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable, and being on a high floor, it was quiet. Service was prompt, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. If you're visiting Ipoh and want a comfortable stay while easily exploring the sights, I highly recommend this place! 🏙️☕ Great value for money 👍

GGarfieldtangMy second stay in this excellent suite. A warm welcoming from the receptionist, five lifts for convenience. Very clean, spacious living/dining room, fully equipped with three air conditioners, three fans, a bathtub, L-shaped couch, a fridge, a washing machine, hairdryer, toiletries, iron, ironing board, kettle, drinking water and coffee/tea sachets. Nice city view from the balcony. Free and guarded parking lot at the basement. The bonus point was walking distance to Parkson, eateries, bars, reflexology, laundry shop, bank, city council and Greentown business centre. Therefore, I strongly recommend to all travellers in Ipoh.

Ssusysparkling✅I booked Premier Triple Room for 3 person, and the room is very good. I feel satisfied with everything ✅The room is clean and the space is wide. ✅No bottled water provided, but there is water dispenser in the corridor for us to get the water using the bottle provided in the room ✅The view is very good also ✅Breakfast is good also. Overall, it is excellent 👍👍

CCGSOHIt was a pleasant stay overall.. except that the hand basin was clogged, the traffic noise from the adjacent main roads was a bit too much to bear at times, especially for those light sleepers. There was one early morning that we were abruptly waken up at about 6:30am by the heavy and persistent cigarette smoke from the centralised air conditioning system. With this, we asked for a room changed and the reception was responsive and willing to accommodate to our request.

AAnonymous UserWe had an amazing stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Damai Laut Resort! The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning sea views. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The swimming pools, beach, and family-friendly facilities made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast had a good variety of delicious food. Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable getaway!

SSS8The hotel decor very nice as the hotel name as Boutique, the room i booked was double bedded not big as expected but just nice for solo traveller, the toilet very nice colour which black and white, the toilet flashing got problems and the counter gave a fast and good solution very fast . The only I wanted to complaint is the bed and the pillows not nice for good sleep, maybe the hotel need to made a changed especially the pillows .

AAnonymous UserLove the hot spring facilities offered by the hotel, especially when you get to enjoy a private hot spring and pool in the villa! And regardless of where your villa is located, there’s buggy service available 24/7. Yoga among nature was also amazing. A really nice place to relax within nature.
HOWEVER, as a luxury resort, I was disappointed with the check-in service. Firstly, there wasn’t a clear indication of where the reception/lobby was, so our driver ended dropping us at the carpark. Once we were within the lobby area, it took a while for the staff to actually welcome us. Unlike the check-in service we saw another family receiving later in the day when they were dropped off at the main lobby, we immediately felt the difference. Btw, the resort should really consider lighting the direction into the lobby at night. Most of our private hire drivers have pointed poor signage/lighting to the lobby.
Next, the jungle walk group was too large with only one guide. We could barely hear what the guide was saying at the back, so yes it was merely a walk for us.

AAnonymous UserHad a wonderful stay at M Roof Hotel Ipoh! From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile.
The hotel’s location is convenient, with plenty of great food nearby and easy access to the city’s attractions. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I’d definitely recommend M Roof Hotel to anyone visiting Ipoh. Looking forward to staying here again!

For me this hotel is overrated, cleanliness wise need to improve a lot. Doesn’t look like newly refurbished / renovated.

- toilet shower area: mold
- light : detached
- plug : far from bed, the nearest plug voltage not stable, cannot charge at all.
- sofa: old.
- curtain over bathtub: not function
- window : dirty
-soundproof : poor
Overall i would rate 2 star only.
Paid rm200/night+- for this room, probably no next time for me.
