Guest UserWangxian Valley is somewhat similar to Qianhu Miao Village. Checking in was quite inconvenient, as there's no elevator, and we had to carry our luggage up and down the mountain for 100-500 meters (depending on the room's location). While staff guided us to our room and helped with our bags during check-in, when we checked out, we had to carry everything uphill ourselves for about 300 meters.
In the evenings, the scenic area was packed with people, and there were various performances. Our room was in the core area, so it was noisy until almost midnight. Being in the mountains, we encountered spiders, and some other creatures – maybe large earthworms or small snakes? My mom was screaming, quite scared, but my 10-year-old son was brave and simply used a towel to deal with them. We booked a duplex suite, and surprisingly, apart from a hanging chair, there wasn't a single stool. No bathtub either.
Overall, the value for money was poor. Although the scenic area's design and performances were good, the overwhelming crowds just ruined the experience.

Guest UserLooking out at the mountains, the water, and Xiangu, it's worth every penny to stay a night at this hotel nestled in the Xian mountain. No need to fight crowds or rush down the mountain; just enjoy the tranquil night as the lights come on. Sitting at the mountaintop coffee house, with a gentle breeze, you can truly appreciate the ultimate Oriental aesthetic and savor a moment of peace.
Everything else was great, but the check-in time was a bit late, and the balcony hadn't been cleaned and was a bit dirty.

Full score! Wuyuan super healing treasure homestay!
The most pleasant surprise of this trip to Wuyuan was to choose this homestay. The stay experience was directly full, and the whole process was comfortable and healing.
Must focus on praise the butler, the service is particularly intimate and thoughtful. When checking in, take the initiative to help carry luggage and relieve the fatigue of the journey. I also carefully introduce the surrounding situation, sincerely recommend the authentic restaurants that locals often go to, avoid the net red stepping on the thunder store, and take the food guide directly, which is very practical.
The overall environment of the homestay is quiet and elegant, clean and refreshing. The room is open and well equipped. My favorite is two large balconies with a wide view. Sitting in your leisure time, enjoying the scenery of Wuyuan Mountains and Wild Mountains, it is comfortable and relaxing. The sanitation is meticulously cleaned and the living comfort is very high.
The overall price is super high, the service is warm, the environment is beautiful, and the details are full. I highly recommend this homestay for a trip to Wuyuan, and I will choose to stay again next time!

I opted for one of their newly opened rooms for this stay. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring I slept soundly right until dawn. What I particularly loved was the Huipai architectural style, with its classic white walls, dark tiled roofs, and charmingly arranged courtyards. The subtle aroma of tea permeated the air, instantly putting me at ease.

C.R.TunnAfter spending a night on Sanqingshan, I made my way down the mountain and checked into the resort again. Whilst my room was being cleaned, I opted to wait by the area by the lobby and it was shut. I asked a young female waitress to let me in so I can sit on a comfortable sofa whilst waiting for my room and she let me through when she realised that I was so knackered after coming down from the mountain and there was no where else to sit in the lobby. She fastened the rope behind me so no-one else could get through and left me there to rest.
10, 15 or maybe 20 minutes went by and approached the reception again and this time was given my room key and gestured where to go. I was a little annoyed for not being told that my room was ready.
It was in a different wing of the resort to my previous room. This resort is huge. The room was so spacious and beautiful with a double bed.
I then went downstairs to the area by the lobby to order an early lunch but was told by the young female waitress that it was closed until 12:30. I asked if I could order a 3 course meal from the menu and they can bring it up to my room. They said it was fine and I also managed to speak to the chef to see what was available. I was forewarned that it might take a while to cook. I placed my order anyway and went back to my room. The wait was worth it and all the courses were so delicious.
Despite the feeling of being disorganised, most staff in this resort are really quite helpful.

This is our third week travelling through China. Our stay at Wuli Shanshui Wenquan Dujia Jiudian. Mentioning the full name of this hotel pretty much gives you a full description of what you will likely experience. A lot of good value for money!
The hotel is situated at the bank of a river and behind the river you will see beautiful forested hills. Early in the morning and late in the afternoon you will hear the birds singing.
Your stay in this hotel comes with free entrance tickets to the hotpools, each with its own theme. You have the Danggui, the Red Wine, the Green Oasis, the Milk and Red Vinegar pools. We spent about 10 minutes in each of them. Relax, take time to have the body adjust to the temperature. I sat on the side with only my legs and hands under water. Later I let my body slide into the water fully. That night I slept like a baby and this morning I had a smooth soft skin, like a baby 😁
The rooms are fully equipped with all necessities and the reception was very helpful. We got a fruit basket as a welcoming gift.
Unfortunately there was no restaurant service but the reception helped us to order in lunch and dinner from a nearby restaurant. All we had to do was to pick from the menu and send the order to the reception via Wechat. For a modest fee our lunch, dinner and cold beers were delivered to our room 👍
The breakfast buffet offered great variety with fresh Ginseng fruit and mini tomatoes.
We liked it here so much that we booked a second night.
There is so much to explore in the neighbourhood with the beautiful old villages of Likeng and Wangkou nearby.
Thank you! 🙏

Looking for a serene place to rest and rejuvenate? Cliff Residence in Wangxian Valley is the perfect fit. Tucked away amidst the mountains, it's a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Open the window to breathtaking views of green hills and flowing water, and let the sounds of the babbling brook and wind rustling through the trees wash over you. In your downtime, relax on the balcony with a cup of tea, watching the clouds drift by, or take a leisurely stroll through the valley, breathing in the fresh, natural negative ions. A special thanks to our housekeeper, Huanhuan, who was professional and meticulous. She tailored her service to our needs, maintaining a quiet presence that respected our privacy while always being available to assist. This allowed us to truly unwind during our business retreat, shedding our fatigue and returning to a state of peace.

moment🫧 A blissful moment 🥣
A few days in Jingdezhen 🤍
Staying in a minimalist, 'blank canvas' space nestled in the mountains, with white walls, interplay of light and shadow, and distant mountains, sketching out the most gentle sense of ease. There's no hustle and bustle here, only a breathing-like quiet, and lazy moments enveloped in gentleness. As light and shadow shift, life slows to a leisurely pace, allowing the mountain breeze and your relaxed self to truly connect.
The hotel's overall aesthetic is a minimalist white tone, so clean it's instantly captivating. Large areas of blank space paired with transparent floor-to-ceiling windows make the distant mountains and greenery the most captivating decor indoors. ☁️
Curl up on a lounge chair by the pool to sunbathe, or snuggle into a soft sofa in your room with a cold drink. Light and shadow slowly flow with time, and even the air exudes a sense of relaxation.
The hotel's attention to detail really impressed me, from the simple soft furnishings in the public areas to the skin-friendly bedding in the rooms – every detail reveals thoughtful sophistication. Here, there's no need to rush; just slow down and enjoy the tranquility and healing embrace of the surrounding greenery.

The hotel room was quite spacious and even had a balcony, and being a standalone building, it was very quiet. The front desk staff were lovely and very welcoming. I had a great experience, and the firework displays were beautiful. The hotel breakfast had a wide variety of options and tasted delicious. The service was thoughtful and meticulous, making me feel right at home. The staff, especially those at the Western and Chinese breakfast stations, were warm, friendly, and professional. I was extremely satisfied with everything, from the front desk reception to the room service. It truly made my trip very comfortable and relaxing.

Guest UserI was initially worried that a hotel inside a scenic area would be noisy, but staying at Xixinyuan completely changed my mind. Although it's not far to walk to the main street and various performance venues, the moment you step into the courtyard, the hustle and bustle are instantly shut out. My favorite part was after watching the Thousand Lantern Festival at night, avoiding the crowds heading back, and leisurely strolling back to the room along the path, smelling the damp grass and trees along the way.
The room wasn't overly decorated in an antique style; it was simple and comfortable. The shower had great water pressure, and a hot shower after a tiring day of exploring was incredibly therapeutic. The staff were warm and thoughtful, never bothering me with unnecessary chatter, but always willing to lend a hand when I was carrying heavy items or asking about show times. The package included tickets and the cable car, saving a lot of hassle with queuing to buy tickets. There was no need to go in and out of the scenic area; I could just head back to the room to rest when I was tired. This sense of relaxation is something you wouldn't experience staying outside the scenic area.
