This hotel is perfect for a weekend getaway if you're planning to stay within the scenic area. You can spend the second day exploring the sights and enjoying the morning views.
We arrived at the scenic area's guesthouse center after lunch and dropped off our luggage to start exploring. We were told check-in was at 5 PM, but it actually depends on room availability and cleaning. I was able to check in before 3 PM. Each room comes with a dedicated butler. The bathroom drain was clogged, but it was fixed very quickly. They were also accommodating when I requested a late check-out. They even send helpful tips for exploring the scenic area, which was a nice touch.
The room has a large bed downstairs, and the loft has a 1.5m bed, accessible by a ladder. The room was reasonably clean, though some of the loft walls showed a bit of wear.
Getting from the room to the attractions involved quite a bit of stair climbing up and down, which was a bit tiring for the legs.
I came to play on May Day and booked this hotel. Although it was a holiday, the price was very suitable. The hotel is very large, decorated very attentively and upscale, with scenery everywhere and a swimming pool. The breakfast is also very rich. In short, it is worth it!
Xiao Xie at the front desk is very warm and considerate, and actively helps to solve problems. Thumbs up👍👍👍

The hotel location is great. It's in the center of Wangxian valley with beautiful scenic view. The amenities is well-equipped. The room is clean but not spotless. There's water stain on the floor and in the shower room when I checked in. There's huge problem in communication because we can't speak Chinese. Almost all the staffs cannot understand English. The check in process took very long. We can't redeem the free photo service that is included in the promotion of the room we selected. We arrived at the hotel around 4 PM, the photo service is available until 5 PM. We knew that we have to contact the hotel at least 24 hours before we check in. We tried to contact the hotel many times, both through Trip.com and WeChat, that we wanted the photo service. There were no response in every platform. After we checked in, we requested the staff to lead us to the photo service area. When we arrived, there were 2 customers who are in the process of makeup in the photo service. We handed the photo card to the lady in the shop. She explained that the photo card only included the costume, the makeup had additional fee, which we already knew from the start. We told her that we only need the costume, the makeup is not required. ,when she heard ,she told us that that day is fully booked, we have to come there again the day after on 9 AM. It was impossible for us as we have to check out early the next morning. We accepted because we couldn't do anything about it. In the evening, we showed the photo of the restaurant we wanted to go to the staff. We asked 2 staffs, and they said the completely different ways to get to the restaurant. One of them told us to take the shuttle bus, while another told us to walk to the restaurant. We tried to ask about the shuttle bus stops, but no one could tell us how the shuttle bus travel in the valley. In the end, we gave up and walk around the valley to eat the street food instead. The next morning, the breakfast starts at 7.30 AM, which was not 7 AM as the receptionist told us. We have to hurry because we have to take the high speed train at Shangrao at 11AM. The process of traveling back to the visitor center was very tiring, it took a very long time to communicate with the staff to take us back to the visitor center because no one can understand our English. All the time we communicate with the staffs, we have to use translator. At first the staff thought we wanted them to take us to the train station, which was not correct. In conclusion, this hotel is excellent only if you understand Chinese. The staffs have great service mind and tried to help us, but communication was really bad and time-consuming. The hotel should be more honest about the photo service that is included with the booking. Not recommend to people who cannot speak and understand Chinese.

I have to give Yishanju a great review! While it's a bit pricey, it's absolutely worth every penny. First off, the location is superb, right on top of the mountain. The room facilities are five-star; you can lie in bed and enjoy a picturesque江南 (Jiangnan) landscape right outside your window. Staying within the scenic area means you get to experience the tranquility of the evenings and early mornings exclusively. The breakfast buffet is also incredibly generous. Overall, the hotel's service attitude is excellent. Highly recommended!

This 12-day Chinese New Year family trip, Shangri-La Nanchang was by far the most comfortable hotel we stayed in. The location is superb, with convenient transportation. The tram downstairs goes directly to all the major popular attractions.
What truly impressed me was the service; they genuinely made us feel at home. Check-in was very thoughtful. They proactively arranged our two rooms together and patiently explained why there was a connecting room in between (due to the king-size bed layout). They also meticulously inquired about all our needs. On the day we left, our child wasn't feeling well and fell asleep, and the hotel was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to extend our check-out until 2 PM without any rush or催促, which was particularly heartwarming.
The room view was unbeatable, directly facing Tengwang Pavilion from the window. We could even watch the fireworks display from our room, and the staff even proactively reminded us to tune the TV to the music channel to accompany the viewing. Additionally, the robot delivery for takeout was very prompt, and the buffet dinner was affordable, delicious, and offered a wide variety of dishes. The overall experience was impeccable, highly recommended!

The facilities are clean and tidy. Although it's a homestay, it has the vibe of a luxurious hotel with its light luxury color scheme and soothing background music in the lobby. It's actually more comfortable to relax in the hotel lobby during the rainy season than in a coffee shop. The room itself is perfect, with no strange smells. The only downside is that our room, 308, had too few chairs, so there wasn't really anywhere to sit comfortably.
Cleanliness: Absolutely top-notch!
Ambiance: Fantastic! I especially loved the hotel's background music.
Service: The young staff were quick to respond and had great attitudes.
It's located on a quiet street in the bustling city center, very close to Taoxichuan by foot. Taxis are also very convenient, and you can get to most places for around 15 yuan.
Big thanks to the hotel for the vending machine, and the complimentary washing machine and dryer!

This cliffside hotel is undoubtedly the most mystical and spectacular in the entire valley. However, you can't fully appreciate it from inside; you need to go down into the valley and look up to see the architectural marvel on the cliff. Staying on the valley-facing side of the scenic area offers no real view except a towering mountain. In contrast, rooms facing the central guesthouse area provide a beautiful panorama of all the guesthouses at the entrance to the scenic area, especially enchanting when lit up at night.
Yet, as twilight descends and the canyon lights illuminate one by one, the crowds gather. This is when the advantage of the cliffside location truly shines – the need to escape the hustle and bustle. From the cliff, looking down, the world below shrinks into a miniature landscape. Simply gazing from afar, you command both the illusion and reality, the noise and tranquility of the entire canyon. It's like watching the human world, with all its earthly desires, unfold, yet feeling utterly detached...

Hotel Breakfast: The dining environment is excellent - clean, quiet, and offers an expansive view of the Gan River through floor-to-ceiling windows. The plates are just the right size, and the soup dishes are of great quality and incredibly delicious. The cold dishes are delicate and petite, and the pastries are adorably small, which is perfect for guests to try a little bit of everything without wasting food – truly commendable! The staff clearing plates are quiet, efficient, and discreet, which I particularly appreciate.
Hotel Room Service: I troubled the staff a few times, and they were consistently gentle and polite in their service. Many thanks!

My stay in Jingdezhen was a delightful surprise, especially at the Chuan Shang Hang Hotel, which offered a serene and artistic ambiance.
The hotel's architecture blended seamlessly with the natural landscape. Wooden corridors wound around preserved camphor trees, creating a tranquil 'coexistence with nature' feel through the interplay of light and shadow.
The guest rooms were simply designed yet cozy. Large floor-to-ceiling windows brought the lush greenery and distant mountain views indoors, and the lounge chair on the balcony was perfect for an afternoon nap. The room's furnishings were also meticulously chosen; from the tea sets to the fruit platters, every detail showcased thoughtfulness.
Furthermore, the hotel thoughtfully provided a personal photo shoot service, allowing guests to capture exclusive memories while enjoying the aesthetic design – a truly special touch.

This hotel was unanimously voted our family's favorite among all the places we stayed during our three-province road trip. What woke us up in the morning wasn't an alarm clock, but that incredibly fragrant homemade mixed noodles – especially with the pickled long beans, we couldn't stop slurping them up. I'm still craving them now! The front desk lady was incredibly thoughtful; she helped us plan our sightseeing routes like a friend when we checked in, so we knew exactly where to go and what to see. The room was spacious and bright, and the smart home system was a huge hit with me. Being able to open/close the curtains and turn lights on/off from bed was a true blessing for a lazy person like me. The decor was elegant and understated, not overdone, but you could tell the owners have great taste in every detail. The location is also super convenient; it's just a ten-minute stroll to Taoxichuan, so food and fun are easily accessible. Next time we're in Jingdezhen, this is definitely where we'll be staying again.

GGuest UserI opted for one of their newly opened rooms for this stay. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring I slept soundly right until dawn. What I particularly loved was the Huipai architectural style, with its classic white walls, dark tiled roofs, and charmingly arranged courtyards. The subtle aroma of tea permeated the air, instantly putting me at ease.

WWHUThis is our third week travelling through China. Our stay at Wuli Shanshui Wenquan Dujia Jiudian. Mentioning the full name of this hotel pretty much gives you a full description of what you will likely experience. A lot of good value for money!
The hotel is situated at the bank of a river and behind the river you will see beautiful forested hills. Early in the morning and late in the afternoon you will hear the birds singing.
Your stay in this hotel comes with free entrance tickets to the hotpools, each with its own theme. You have the Danggui, the Red Wine, the Green Oasis, the Milk and Red Vinegar pools. We spent about 10 minutes in each of them. Relax, take time to have the body adjust to the temperature. I sat on the side with only my legs and hands under water. Later I let my body slide into the water fully. That night I slept like a baby and this morning I had a smooth soft skin, like a baby 😁
The rooms are fully equipped with all necessities and the reception was very helpful. We got a fruit basket as a welcoming gift.
Unfortunately there was no restaurant service but the reception helped us to order in lunch and dinner from a nearby restaurant. All we had to do was to pick from the menu and send the order to the reception via Wechat. For a modest fee our lunch, dinner and cold beers were delivered to our room 👍
The breakfast buffet offered great variety with fresh Ginseng fruit and mini tomatoes.
We liked it here so much that we booked a second night.
There is so much to explore in the neighbourhood with the beautiful old villages of Likeng and Wangkou nearby.
Thank you! 🙏
XXiang_khushExceeded our expectations. Beautifully designed, exceptional concierge service, excellent amenities and areas to truly enjoy a staycation. Conveniently located in the bustling Sanbao street, eleme deliveries are also available and come right up to the room, the hot tub came with bath salts, mood lighting and really was worth every penny.
Standout features:
- Luxurious design
- Exceptional bed and pillows, best sleep in months
- Amazing hot tub
- Good quality bath products and toiletries
- Very cozy robes
- Spacious room
Few suggestions that could elevate this experience further:
- The tv does not have GiTV it has CRTV so English entertainment is unavailable on the projector unless you mirror your device and use a Chinese streaming app. International apps are not compatible.
- Room temp at night is quite warm since air conditioning is switched off during the winters, fans would be a relief
- Would’ve loved some chocolate placed on pillows for a honey suite
- The service is only in Chinese and restaurant closes at 4:30 pm unless you book a meal in advance
- There is no dairy creamer with the coffee only milk available in the restaurant on 1F
- Would’ve loved the projector in the hot tub area
- Xiao Du only understands Chinese and most room commands need her assistance, inconvenient if someone doesn’t speak the language
- Hard to find Didi Cabs to go anywhere but relatively easy to find cabs 2km away. (Very scenic walk or e-scooter)

GGuest UserThe 85-square-meter family double-bedroom room has a bug. There is only one bathroom, and the bathroom is in another room. It is inconvenient for our family to live. After consulting the front desk, we were upgraded to a 100-square-meter double-bedroom family room for free. This is very good. The family stayed for two consecutive nights and lived very comfortably. Thumbs up to the front desk lady!
It’s nice to take the baby out and have a bird park!
There is also a water park in summer. I will come again next time!
GGuest UserHighly recommend this hotel for family trips! The location is fantastic, super close to attractions like Tengwang Pavilion and Wanshou Palace, making it incredibly convenient to get around. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and they even upgraded us to a high-floor room on the seventh floor. We could enjoy the night view of Tengwang Pavilion right from our bed – the view was absolutely amazing! The room was a bit close to the elevator and stairs, but we're light sleepers so it didn't bother us. It was clean and tidy, with complete facilities and comfortable bedding, so both the elderly and children slept soundly. The overall environment is quiet and elegant, offering excellent value for money. It's perfect for traveling with kids or elders. Our experience was top-notch, and we'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Nanchang!

GGuest UserRight at the foot of Guifeng Mountain, the entrance is a scenic spot, it is an antique but leisurely place with a beautiful environment. You can see the boss's care in every flower and grass. The beautiful lady boss would communicate with us every time she saw us. It was a very good stay. The boss and the staff were very enthusiastic and gave us a lot of help. It was a very warm and relaxing holiday.
XXiaoniaoThe hotel is as large as described, with several buildings and a great environment. The front desk upgraded my room during check-in, from Building 3 to Building 7. Both Building 1 and Building 7 offer check-in and check-out services, which made leaving much more convenient. The room facilities are befitting a 5-star hotel. There are plenty of parking spaces, which is very friendly for self-driving travelers. Since I was just stopping over during a long road trip, I didn't explore the surroundings much. I heard it's closest to the Ceramic Museum, but after checking in, I didn't leave my room until the next day. A 5-star hotel for 337 RMB/night is truly a bargain, and it even includes two breakfasts. Of course, at this price, you can't expect an amazing breakfast, but it's enough to fill you up. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would choose this hotel again if I visit Jingdezhen.
