We had booked Ibis Galati. At arrival we were told it was closed. We received a upgrade to the Mercure Hotel that is directly next to it. Therefore this review applies to the Mercure Hotel. Checkin was easy. Rooms are very generous. Breakfast is rich staff is very friendly and helpful.

This is the only place of its kind in this area, so we had a good stay. It's much better compared to the Ibis next door. The Danube River is close by, so we enjoyed some nice walks.
