The location is okay, but it's actually quite a walk from 3rd Street and also the beach. The room was pretty small for US standards, and the decor was a bit rococo. Plus, there were unmentioned extra charges (on top of taxes, occupancy fees + ridiculously expensive parking) and they couldn't even provide me with an accurate invoice... Honestly, you can probably find something better for this price in Santa Monica.

Facilities: Alright. Hygiene: Very good. Environment: Near the airport, so it's okay. Service: Didn't really use any services. Overall, it's a decent hotel near the airport. The bed is big, and the room is quite spacious. The hygiene is also good. The facilities might be a bit old, but all in all, it's still a good stay.

Located at the foot of Yosemite's South Gate, this hotel really deserves a two-day stay. Out of all the places we stayed during our West Coast trip, this one was the most worthwhile.

Part of the Hilton brand. We got a Twin room so that we could really rest and sleep well. The hotel is old but they did a good job refurbishing. So the lobby and rooms still give off very modern vibes. I felt the room was a good size. They provided a lot of cupboards. So all you need to do is take your clothes out of your luggage into the drawers and you have a lot of space. Room was clean. They tried their best with the limited manpower during the first 2 days of our stay. Location is near to Union Square. Love it or hate it or both. Love it because it is within walking distance to Union Square and from there Chinatown. Or go South and you will be in Financial District. Hate it because if you are planning to drive, parking at night is a very challenging thing for tourists. The security guard was super helpful and he provided great tips which really helped to save a lot on parking. While roadside is free overnight, be very careful to check if there are any road sweeping which makes parking illegal. The other thing is it is very near to Tenderloin. So walking around that area at night can be scary. But to be fair, it is not an issue specific to this hotel only but all hotels in this vicinity. Our itinerary left little time to explore the hotel itself unfortunately.

The hotel is a 10-minute drive from the airport, approximately 5 kilometers away. North-facing rooms offer direct views of planes taking off and landing across Highway 101, but the excellent soundproofing ensures no noise disturbance. The hotel is situated within a recently developed complex and features a large parking lot at the back. Both the rooms and facilities are brand new, which is quite unusual for a US hotel. The rooms are spacious and equipped with basic kitchenware and a stovetop, making them ideal for families with children who want to prepare simple meals. As the surrounding area is newly developed, there are currently only two fast-food restaurants across the street (one of which is Panda Express, a well-known Chinese fast-food chain in the US). The other units are still for lease, so it will probably take over a year for more amenities to become available. However, in the community directly opposite, there are three to four restaurants, including the famous West Coast burger joint, In-N-Out. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) station, offering quick and easy access to Silicon Valley and San Francisco. The hotel offers breakfast, which is quite good for a US hotel, featuring options like hard-boiled eggs🥚, scrambled eggs, bread, oatmeal, waffles, yogurt, coffee, and more.

My recent stay at Fremont Marriott was a delightful experience from start to finish. The hotel's location was convenient, the accommodations were comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. However, one aspect of my stay that truly stood out was the breakfast. The hotel's breakfast buffet was impressive, offering a wide range of options to suit every taste. But what really caught my attention was the omelette station. The omelette chef was incredibly skilled and attentive, creating custom omelettes to order with a wide selection of fillings. Each omelette was cooked to perfection, with a fluffy texture and flavorful fillings that made every bite a treat. I had the pleasure of trying several different combinations, and each one was better than the last. The quality of the ingredients was also noteworthy. Fresh eggs, a variety of cheeses, and an assortment of vegetables and meats were all on offer, ensuring that every omelette was a delicious and nutritious start to the day. Overall, my stay at Fremont Marriott was fantastic, and the breakfast omelette was a standout feature that made my experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Fremont Marriott to anyone looking for a comfortable and delicious stay in the area.

The hotel is located on a peninsula, with the bay front and back, and the scenery is beautiful. It is a few kilometers away from downtown, so it is convenient to drive to shopping and eating. There is a parking lot downstairs for 30 knives a day. The front desk service attitude is very good, and the check-in is very fast. The room facilities are a bit old, and there is a small balcony with a sea view. The bathroom is generally clean, but a cockroach was found in the bathroom.

Just a few minutes from the airport, this hotel has a ton of rooms. The only downside is the parking, which is quite pricey at $45 USD per night, not including tax. The rooms are well-equipped, but when I booked through Trip.com, breakfast wasn't included and had to be purchased separately!

Here's why we gave the experience 3 stars; First of all, when we booked the hotel, neither Trip.com nor The Aster, Los Angeles, mentioned anything about the rooftop being closed on the dates we booked. On May 13 and May 14, we stayed in room 3 0 6. The hotel pictures showed and bragged about having a rooftop and plenty of pics of people there, and nowhere was revealed anywhere on their website or Trip.com that would not be available on those dates. When we reached out to Trip.com, they pretty much said that the rooftop amenities weren't listed as part of our package. Really Trip.com? You have to list the rooftop as the amenity... Got it. That was so lame a response. Everyone knows people book due to the pictures, and this was a seriously lame response from the Trip.com customer support personnel. We decided to save our opinion for this review. The Aster had nice people, but it's hard to believe the availability missing on their website is a detail they would miss. Their hotel has impeccable detail and design. One can only surmise they conveniently left out the information because people would obviously not book there and go somewhere else. I told the front receptionist this as we were checking in. She mentioned, well, it said it on *******. But we didn't book through *******, we booked through Trip.com. And those specific details were not evident. After July 1st the Government is getting stricter on transparency with hotels having to mention things so we missed this window, but we're happy to hold hotels like The Aster accountable:-) Also, on Wednesday, we checked out, and they had a fire alarm drill test that lasted about 10 minutes. They forgot to mention another minor ”inconvenience” when we booked on their website. It was at 10 am. It wasn't so bad, but to state the obvious, they left out the ability for customers to decide by not making that information transparent during the booking process. It's not like the fire department or tech people didn't schedule that in advance. 1. If you book through Trip.com, please make sure you specify, call their customer support, and get it in writing. The clickbait and pictures seem shady and sketchy and reflect a lack of credibility in the process. 2. Trip.com asked which room we wanted to be in. When we picked the room, we picked the city-view balcony. But we got put in the poolside view instead. It wasn't bad, but that was missing in the booking details that Trip.com sent to The Aster. My fiance ended up being okay with the poolside view, but it should have been in the booking details via Trip.com. So please, please make sure you watch this if you book through them and call the hotel in advance. Lastly, the decor, valet, and, in general, the service people were very nice and thoughtful. We would give them 5 stars.

The hotel room was very spacious, and the location was excellent with plenty of restaurants nearby. The lobby was really impressive and grand, especially for an American-style hotel. We stayed for five nights, but the only downside was that we were charged $5 for the two complimentary bottles of water that were provided.
