The hotel is small, but it has everything you need. The only things missing were a toothbrush and slippers, but perhaps that's normal for hotels here. There's an airport shuttle, but the frequency isn't great, and I had to wait a long time. Luckily, there's a 24-hour McDonald's and Subway nearby, and a Starbucks a bit further down, so breakfast options are quite convenient.

Although the hotel is small, the environment is good, it is very quiet and safe. The front desk uses online service to check in. The guy is very smart. We stayed there for a long time. The shower water is good. Someone cleans the room automatically every day. There is no need to ask the front desk for cleaning. The occupancy rate is high on weekends. It is best to live upstairs, as the noise on the first floor will be very loud.

The hotel's location is convenient, about 800 meters' walk to the Civic Center/UN Plaza metro station, and close to Union Square and Chinatown. However, there are many homeless people in the surrounding streets, which makes the environmental smell a bit strong. Although the room is a bit cramped, it is generally clean and tidy. The blackout curtains are excellent, and there are plenty of power outlets near the desk and bed. The bath towels are very new and pleasant to use. Breakfast is served from 7-10 AM, but the variety is simple.

Clean, new and pleasant. Everything you need to enjoy ocean stay. Parking super expensive $28 os over over paying.

The hotel is a ten-minute drive from the airport and offers a free shuttle bus every half hour. The rooms are clean and tidy. A definite plus is that the rooms come equipped with an electric kettle and a coffee machine. Breakfast was also quite good, with congee and fried dough fritter bits available. The surrounding environment is pleasant too.

Well hotel is “Oldtimer” and definitely below average ranking visible here in trip.com web. Check in was quick, short walk/drive to designated building. Corridors in the building looks and smells like 1970’s, so initial shock but room was bit better. Old style but ok to sleep one night. Breakfast - same low quality food as any American hotel chain with this price range. Overall I would not come again.

The hotel room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I especially appreciated the blackout curtains once closed, the room became completely dark, which made it perfect for a good night’s rest. Even during the daytime, the room stayed wonderfully dark and peaceful. Also got a workout in the gym. However, I was disappointed with one aspect of my stay. Since I had a late flight, I requested a late checkout. Unfortunately, there was ongoing construction noise that made it difficult to rest. The constant sound was quite frustrating and took away from what would have otherwise been a very relaxing experience. Overall, the room itself was excellent, but the noise issue impacted my final impression.

Convenient location for visitors to San Mateo area. Good breakfast; appears recently-remodeled. Comfortable beds. Plenty of parking, including underground garage.

After reading other reviews, I was a bit skeptical about staying here. Yes, it is a bit outdated but it was clean and comfortable. The staff was quite courteous and there was actual housekeeping service which most other places no longer offer. This was one of the least expensive places to stay in the area and I would absolutely book here again. Good value.

Room had a funky smell and windows were filthy. There was a note under task from April saying rooms would not be freshened due to labor shortage. 7 weeks later no remedy. Negates one of the reason fro staying in a hotel Bathroom had half doors; knob fell off without me noticing. I stepped on it and slid. Fortunately was able to catch myself before falling. There was no remote for tv so had to call for one. Once it arrived tv didn't work; it had been disconnected. Maintenance came relatively quickly both times
