GGuest UserDoesn’t meet Belmond expectations. 1. Food is average, the same we had in a small village, change a chef, not tasty at all. 2. On a breakfast waiters ALWAYS bring fruits and after 5 min asking if I need them. Why on earth I should eat fruits in 5 min? And why do you need it? Quality and variety of breakfast is not nice — all days we had not fresh blueberries. In my home country I have blueberries from Peru and it’s fresher. How it is possible? 3. Welcome is not in Belmond style: no champagne or good chocolate. 4. One day we asked to clean the room before 12, they did, we came and I was sure we are alone in the room. When I was naked I saw a gardener in our private terrace. He also saw me. How it’s possible he entered our terrace when I was in the room????? With no bell and knocking???? 5. Alpacas feeding is also trash: all people from hotel come, you will never get nice pictures like on instagram. Why you don’t make it by appointment? We had a lot of experiences with animals in different countries , this one is the worst. 6. Stuff is not well trained, communication is super artificial. Place is beautiful, but that’s it. Worst Belmond we have been to. Ask Monasterio Belmond about good experience and top notch service.

GGuest UserI arrived in the hotel found that the bath tub doesn’t have stopper so asked them to provide stopper but was given a day later and there is no hand wash provided. No soap provided on my last day. Also the hotel staff asked me to pay additional $55.00 as they don’t seem to have record of my arrival to Peru and I have come illegally to Peru.. I have to argue about it and finally they found my arrival details. Breakfast is fantastic and cleanliness is good as well.. Apart from minor issues it is good..near to all amenities .

KKattyTravelerUnfortunately, I am not satisfied with the hotel. The first is no heating here, no battery. On the third day of stay I got sick because of the cold. Reading the reviews, I realized that you could ask for a heater, what I did. The second is the hearing is really strong. huge gaps in the doors of the room. I hear absolutely everything - as people come and go, watch TV, talk, etc. I often woke up in the night when people went on tour and clapped the door. The third is a very scarce breakfast! Just two bulks per person, a little butter, cheese and sausage, jam and on a small dish serve the crambles , on drinks tea, coffee and that's all the breakfast . I also had a problem with breakfast for the tours. I asked to prepare them for me, but nobody did. I had two tours and I just throw money out for two breakfasts. Fourth - in the 5 days of my stay, I did not clean the room, although I read that the cleaning is daily. For 4 days I asked why my room was not cleaned and I was told I had to give the key to the room and then they would have cleaned. But of course no one said :) Lastly, the woman who cooks breakfast seemed to me not to love me because I don't speak Spanish. At the same time I saw her being nice to other guests. I wouldn't advise this hotel!

GGuest UserCleaning lady friendly and helpful. Owners who normally run the place out of town. Hotel is about 10 minute walk to town. Most of the road to plaza is paved. I ate at a very good restaurant in plaza. Almost all the restaurants offer excellent views and vegetarian options. The hotel has glorious views from the rooftop where they serve breakfast daily. There is coffee available or hot water 24x7. The area is quite except for cows mooing. Internet excellent. Hot shower excellent. Eggs made to order for breakfast. Google translate needed at hotel + in town. Wish all hotels offered filtered water. This would reduce the daily purchase of plastic bottled water. I enjoyed my stay.

GGuest UserThe staff was very attentive. Because the tour we were participating in departed very early, the hotel provided a packed breakfast to take away. The breakfast was great with water, drinks and fruits. I really want to give it a thumbs up.

極貧女子大生This place offers incredible value for money. The beds have really thick mattresses, and while there's no hairdryer, the hot water is consistently excellent. I actually stayed here before Machu Picchu and then returned after, choosing to rebook. When I mistakenly booked for a month later on my second stay, the hotel staff understood and even told me they were worried because they didn't know how to contact me about the booking error. They're very considerate; they even asked if a double bed was okay for us. Although we didn't use it, breakfast is also provided. The owners don't speak much English, but they're incredibly enthusiastic and patient, using translation apps to communicate. Upon our initial arrival in Cusco, they gave us a map and thoroughly explained all the recommended spots. The interior decor is also charming. I'd definitely stay here again if I return to Cusco. A huge thank you to the owners for all your hospitality!

KKurzaEverything was very good at this hotel, especially considering it is a 3-star property, but it feels like good 4 star hotel. The rooms are quite spacious, and we had a huge king-size bed as well as a double bed. There is daily cleaning service. Breakfast was generous and freshly served at the table by the owner, including fruit, jam, avocado and chicken sandwiches, omelets, and bread rolls with olives and spreads. It is a family-run business, and everyone was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were quiet, and we slept very well during all three nights.

LLennard’sIf you enjoy some quiet from the bustling city center, this place was perfect. Located 15 mins walk from the city center (it doesn’t feel that far honestly), the photos of the hotel are as shown in the pictures provided. The place is really clean and cosy. Giara liaises with the guests ensuring every need is covered. She and the team have been so lovely and helpful throughout. They do prepare packed breakfast for whenever we had to leave early for our tours. Absolutely enjoyed our time at the stay

GGuest UserAmazing hosts, they kind, friendly and helpful! Hotel located in the beautiful place close to our geological sites, not far from a city centre. Rooms are very nice and clean. Coca leaves and coca leaves are offered to help with altitude. Hotel provides very delicious breakfast and snacks if you are leaving hotel early in the morning for excursions. If we’re back to Cusco we definitely want to book this place again! We highly recommend this beautiful hotel!

MMARINAThe man at the reception was very kind. The facilities and services are excellent, so you won't get bored even if you stay for a long time. The rooms are clean. The showers have hot water. The kitchen is spacious. There is also a video viewing room. Since it is in Cusco, tours will pick you up in front of the hotel. They will also store your luggage when you go to Machu Picchu. It was really good.
