I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel.
The restaurant was excellent, and every meal was delicious and well prepared.
The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made it easy to relax.
Most of all, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, always making me feel welcome.
Thanks to their hospitality, my stay was truly enjoyable, and I would definitely choose this hotel again in the future.
There were 4 huge cockroaches in my room. I killed 2, the other 2 were running around. I did not know how many more cockroaches were hiding in the room. I called reception to request for a change of room. Staff came quite promptly and assisted with change of room, which thankfully was much cleaner and without cockroaches. Definitely not a good first impression for a first-timer staying in the hotel. Other than that, hotel lobby and cafe were decent looking and clean.
one of the best hotel in the airport side. all the staffs are very polite and well manner. clean and quite. i would definitely visit again and would like to recommend to all travellers to stay here.
Excellent location, within walking distance to the Thamel area. It's close enough to be convenient but far enough to be quiet. We were offered warm drinks during check-in, which was a nice touch, especially in winter.
The room was very clean and quiet, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared a cake for us.
The laundry service was also very convenient and efficient.
All the staff were very helpful. The gentleman who helped with our luggage even assisted us in identifying our car by its license plate (as all license plates here use Arabic numerals), and the front desk staff helped us book bus tickets.
Nice, clean rooms, big comfy bed and pillows. Shower was okay. Water did not get hot, lukewarm at best and refrigerator was not cold at all, I almost thought it was broken. Food was good if you stick to Nepali and Indian food options, but lassis were watered down. Drinks were also not cold. Most of the staff were really friendly and helpful, but I had two instances that really turned me off. They have a free buffet breakfast, but if you opt to skip it, they call you very early in the morning to ask if you're coming or not. This disturbed my sleep several times until I asked them to stop. Today was also my last day here and although check out is at 3pm, I received a call from reception at 10:30am asking when I'd be leaving. He informed me that a big group would be arriving and told me that the check out time was noon, when it was clearly stated otherwise online. He asked if I'd be staying another night instead as if I was bartering to not be pushed out of my room before check out time, when I was right. I've never had such an experience before and have traveled all over the world. Such a lack of professionalism and tact. That is not how you treat guests at a 4 star hotel. Not recommending this hotel to anyone!
We had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional hotel for a total of 6 nights, and we couldn't be more thrilled with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff displayed an authentic and warm hospitality that made us feel truly at home. Their genuine friendliness and willingness to assist with every request went above and beyond our expectations.
One of the highlights of our stay was the remarkable cleanliness and tranquility of our room. It was evident that great care was taken to ensure a pristine environment, allowing us to relax and unwind in utmost comfort. The icing on the cake was the superb internet reception, which allowed us to stay connected seamlessly throughout our stay.
Our stay was punctuated by delightful mornings indulging in an exquisite breakfast spread. The puri or chapati and curry quickly became our favorites, perfectly complemented by the aromatic masala tea and the flavorful masala omelette – a true culinary delight!
The hotel's al fresco dining experience was an absolute treat. The ambiance was charming, and the food left an indelible mark on our taste buds. With each meal, we explored a plethora of different dishes, each more tantalizing than the last. It's safe to say that the culinary offerings exceeded our expectations in every way.
A noteworthy mention is the hotel's convenient proximity to Boudha Stupa, a mere 10-minute walk away. This made our visits to the stupa incredibly convenient and allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in its serene atmosphere.
What sets this hotel apart is not only its remarkable amenities and services but also the unique opportunity it offers. The daily free yoga and meditation sessions held within the monastery on the premises are truly transformative. We highly recommend inquiring about the schedule from the attentive hotel staff – it's an experience that added immeasurable value to our stay.
In summary, our time at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of attentive staff, immaculate rooms, delectable cuisine, and the added touch of free yoga and meditation sessions make this hotel a standout choice for anyone seeking a memorable stay near Boudha Stupa. We wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to fellow travelers looking for an unforgettable experience.
Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay truly remarkable – we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to return!
Tip: Indulge in delightful puri & curry breakfast, relish al fresco dining, rejuvenate with free daily yoga. A tranquil oasis near Boudha Stupa.
I recently booked Sara Sadan Hotel in Kathmandu for my parents, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The hospitality and clear guidance provided by the staff were excellent. My parents were very comfortable during their stay and were truly happy with the service. The staff were extremely friendly, respectful, and always helpful. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a pleasant and caring stay in Kathmandu.Definitely we will be back there. Thanks and best regards. Binod
Clean. Nice selection of breakfast. The concierge was professional and helpful. The valet staff was very helpful with the taxis.
The reception desk staff was not quite familiar with his work.
1. Couldn’t find my booking.
2. Miscalculated the number of nights to stay
3. Didn’t realize the room was prepaid and was going to charge again.
But he acknowledged his mistakes.

The hotel is conveniently situated right behind of the Garden of Dreams. Just a short walking distance to the busy Thamel area. The vicinity has convenience stores, cafes, eateries and pharmacy.
The room is quite small but it's alright for a short stay. The bed wasn't quite as comfortable as other hotels that I've stayed. Very basic fitness facility in the hotel, do wish that they would make the gym bigger and better equipped.
The breakfast buffet is good enough for some fuel before heading out to explore. Omelette could definitely be improved but I do like the mushrooms and bacon with my omelette. They also have a soup station which you can pick what you want to go into your soup. The soy latte was nicely done. Some day they serve the chocolate cake which is a must try.
Staffs are very well trained and speaks good english. I'd definitely recommend staying here for the value for money, fantastic location and good hospitality.
I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. Here are the highlights:
- **Proximity to the Airport**: The hotel is conveniently located just a short drive from the airport, making it perfect for travelers with early flights or layovers. The shuttle service was prompt and made the transfer seamless.
- **Friendly Staff**: From check-in to check-out, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. They went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed, offering recommendations for local attractions and dining options.
- **Clean and Comfortable Rooms**: The cleanliness of the hotel is commendable. My room was spotless and well-maintained, with comfortable bedding that made for a great night’s sleep.
- **Variety of Breakfast Options**: The breakfast spread was impressive, catering to various tastes. There were plenty of options, from fresh fruits and pastries to hearty hot meals. I appreciated the variety, which made each morning enjoyable.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay near the airport. I will definitely return on my next trip!

GGuest UserThe room made a decent first impression and did the bare minimum. But, it quickly became clear that it’s best suited for a very short stay. The bed was comfortable enough. Overall, the room is fine if you’re just passing through, but anything longer starts to feel like stretching it.
Staff presence around the hotel was limited. They clearly run on a lean operation, which can go either way. The guard in front of the elevator stood out in the best possible way and added a genuinely warm, human touch, which helped balance things out.
At check-in, I was given two complimentary cocktail coupons for the upstairs bar, which immediately lifted my spirits. This was a place I had enjoyed many times before and often recommended to friends and family. I had good memories of the atmosphere, the food, and the general vibe, so I went in with high hopes. In the past I had written raving 5-star reviews of their restaurant food and amazing service!
Unfortunately, the experience that followed didn’t live up to those expectations. What should have been a simple, enjoyable night out unraveled into confusion and unwelcoming interactions. Small moments piled up, the mood shifted, and it became clear that the experience had gone off the rails. Rather than force it, my group and I decided to take our time and money elsewhere. Sometimes you read the room and move on.
I returned to the hotel later that night and stayed over. Took a hot shower in the morning, loved the smell of their body wash, btw!
Another brief interaction during checkout reinforced the same theme: rigid, abrupt, and lacking the kind of hospitality that makes guests feel welcome.
All in all, it’s disappointing to see a place I once enjoyed and freely recommended lose its consistency and warmth. I’m no longer comfortable recommending it, and I’m not sure I would choose to return.
As for the unused cocktail coupon, I still have it. Any takers?
GGuest UserThe hotel is so historic that it is a living museum. The experience is great, from furniture and supplies, architectural stone carvings and wood carvings to photos and pictures of history, there is a sense of time travel and fulfillment, as if talking with time and space.
Stayed in the hotel for a day, the spa was great, the Indian food was also good, and the service was especially good. The handsome front desk guy Anish lakhe took us to visit the hotel, exchanged coins, introduced food and beverage, and helped call a car to see us off. It is worth recommending.
GGuest UserI stayed for 2 nights, it didn't feel safe for me as a solo woman traveller. One the first night around 11pm there were 3-4 men shouting and laughing and knocked my door. I was scared and called the reception. The phone wire was not connected to the phone, i have to hold it tight to the phone while i was speaking. It was a terrifying experience. When in emergency even the phone wasn't working! the receptionist took 30 min to for the men to calm down. The next day morning the receptionist told me they men moved out. But i saw them in the evening in the hotel. Didn't feel safe. Again, the men, shouting and aloud. Still i couldn't sleep there, awake whole two nights i stayed there, didn't feel safe. The place was clean. Location was good.

XXUENANOn the way from Kadu to Chitwan, we have been contacting the hotel through Ctrip customer service to pick us up when we arrived, but the customer service has not been contacted by the hotel. I did not expect that as soon as the bus arrived, the driver arranged by the hotel was waiting. It is fixed, it should be that the hotel will take the initiative to go to the station to pick up and drop off according to the occupancy and bus time. The hotel is relatively good in the local area. There are beautiful gardens and detached villas. The rooms are also decorated with special features. They are clean and hygienic. The staff are very enthusiastic. They will try their best to help you if you have any problems. Personally, I think the price of various activities offered by the hotel in Chitwan is reasonable, so it is possible and convenient to book at the hotel. There are some villagers around the hotel, not far from the river. You can visit or take a walk in your spare time. There is a bustling market about three kilometers from the hotel. You can take a taxi to eat. . If you eat at the hotel, the price is not cheap, but the taste is really amazing!
TTraveltheworld@bd⭐️ Wonderful Stay at Magnificent Hotel ⭐️
We had a truly pleasant stay in Pokhara at Magnificent Hotel. The location is excellent — close to Phewa Lake and within easy walking distance of restaurants, cafés, and shops, yet the atmosphere remains calm and relaxing.
The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing everything needed for a restful stay. The space feels bright and welcoming, and housekeeping keeps everything neat and fresh each day. After long days of exploring, it was the perfect place to unwind.
The staff made a strong impression with their kindness and professionalism. They were always ready to assist with directions, transportation, or local recommendations, and their warm hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome.
Another highlight is the peaceful environment and lovely views around the property, which add to the relaxing experience. Whether you’re visiting Pokhara for sightseeing or simply to enjoy the scenery, the hotel provides a comfortable and convenient base.
Overall, Magnificent Hotel offers great service, a convenient location, and excellent value. A very enjoyable stay — highly recommended for travelers visiting Pokhara! 🌄
AAnonymous UserLocation is alright, there’s occasional cockroaches running past you when you are in the room, cleanliness has a lot to improve on. Worst part is that I booked a single room and was given a room next to the elevator with a window without curtain, anyone tall enough would be able to look into my room and everything in it, to add on to that, the room was next to the elevator and you can hear every footstep and noise/chat coming from the corridor, and when the elevator moves, there’s this super unnecessary music that runs with it so you would get a sense of that throughout the day and night. When I went to the receptionist to ask for a different room, she told me there’s no other rooms available and I have to pay an extra 1500 rupee to upgrade to a different room, that amount, adding with the original I paid for- would already be much higher than a standard deluxe room. Obviously she and the hotel was trying to scam me by leveraging on giving a super lousy room at first. Even though they eventually agreed to change room for me at no charge, I was honestly traumatised by this hotel and was uncomfortable through the stay. Then at check-out in the next morning, the guy was reluctant to let me go asking if I had already paid and making calls to confirm about it. Overall there’s surely better rooms for similar price in Thamel, so do try to skip this hotel unless you like some good memorable reasons to spoil your trip.
HHsiehTsaiLinI stayed in Kathmandu for a few nights this time and really loved the vibe of this hotel. The room was super comfortable, giving me that cozy 'home away from home' feeling. The bed was great too; coming back and lying down on it every day felt so relaxing. The room was kept very clean, and the overall environment was quiet, so I wasn't disturbed at all while sleeping.
The hot water in the bathroom was consistent, and the water pressure was strong, which made showers really comfortable – a truly important detail for travelers. The location was also very convenient; I could walk to many places. There were money exchange spots and a small supermarket nearby, making it very easy to get daily necessities.
Overall, it's a hotel that makes you feel very relaxed and at ease. If I come back to Kathmandu, I would definitely want to stay here again. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Nepal.
