This is an excellent hotel for a peaceful getaway. The grounds are compact but very well-maintained, and there's private parking available. The rooms are spacious, offering panoramic sea views and all the necessary amenities.
The food is top-notch: breakfast and dinner are served buffet-style, offering a diverse and delicious selection. There's a deep swimming pool and a jacuzzi too. The equipped beach has easy entry into the water, and a coral reef teeming with colorful fish starts right off the shore. There's also a professional diving center with instructors and equipment rental.
The ”15+ only” policy ensures a quiet atmosphere free from children's hustle and bustle – perfect for couples.
This time I was mainly looked after by Zid, and all the staff, including him, were very kind.
The location was great, there was plenty of delicious food, and I had a fulfilling trip.
If you're coming to Wadi Rum, Jordan, I highly recommend this place!
Good value hotel in Jordan
I have stayed in 5 hotels during 11 days of trip in Jordan. This is the best one !⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
All of the staffs are so friendly and nice. The restaurant staff is helpful and considerate . On the second day morning, she remembered my breakfast preference 😨, even the details.
There’s an Italian restaurant right near the hotel. You can enjoy discount yet there were cakes, drinks and shisha.
The room is so comfortable and new. I love the design. The night view is so lovely and magnificent. The amenity are good , it’s way better than Movenpick hotel. This hotel offers Dead Sea products for the guests. You can have free drinks from the fridge as well.
🏜️ “Magical Desert Escape at Hasan Zawaideh Camp” 🌌
Staying at Hasan Zawaideh Camp in Wadi Rum was one of the most unforgettable travel experiences I’ve ever had. The camp perfectly blends comfort with the raw beauty of the desert, making it a truly magical getaway.
✨ The tent was clean, cozy, and surprisingly comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing night under the stars. At night, the view of the starry desert sky was absolutely breathtaking — something you can’t experience in the city.
🍽️ Dinner and breakfast were delicious, served in a warm, communal setting with traditional Jordanian hospitality. Sharing a meal by the fire while listening to local music made the experience even more special.
🚙 We also joined a desert tour arranged by the camp, which took us across Wadi Rum’s stunning landscapes — red sand dunes, rock formations, and panoramic views that felt like stepping into another world.
Most importantly, the staff were so kind, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel like family rather than just guests.

🌟 Highlights:
• Cozy, well-kept tents with amazing desert views 🏕️
• Star-filled night sky 🌌
• Delicious traditional meals 🍴

Very polite and hospitable frint desk, especially Randa and Carmen. Service from all staff was very good. Only limitations are facilities for young kids. This hotel would suit mostly business travellers or couples. Also of note, is the newly refurbished roof-top bar .overlooking Gulf of Aqaba
An interesting experience, take a pickup truck into the desert, light a bonfire to see the stars at night. I thought this environment would be more difficult. The surprise was: the room was clean and clean, the hot water was sufficient, the bed was very comfortable to sleep, and it was not noisy at night. It also included dinner that day and breakfast the next day. The only thing to note is that there is no net.
When you stay at Wadi Rum Magic Nature Camp in Wadi Rum, you'll be steps from Wadi Rum Protected Area. This hotel is within close proximity of Little Bridge and Mushroom Rock.
A complimentary buffet breakfast is served daily from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM.
Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Make yourself at home in one of the 20 guestrooms. Bathrooms feature showers with rainfall showerheads.
We really enjoyed our stay at UFO Luxotel. One thing to note is that the hotel is not within the Wadi Rum protected area, so it is about 5 minutes drive to the main gate. The hotel does have some partnership with the local bedouins who can take you on a desert or camel tour, but it is better to liaise with the local bedouin on your own. The bubble tents are really nice, made of plastic, comes with a standing shower, washbasin and a comfortable bed. There is air conditioning inside the tent. Outside the tent, there is a hammock and some chairs. At night, the weather in the desert can get quite cold so we enjoyed the special fur blanket provided in the room. There was a stargazing photography course but we did not sign up for it. The food was absolutely delicious, from the dinner with local dishes and underground baked lamb, to the breakfast buffet. Since our tent was quite far from the entrance, there was a buggy to send us to our room. But on the day of the checkout, after calling reception, the buggy took a bit longer than expected. Overall we enjoyed our stay in the desert in these luxury tents, and the price was affordable.
Our stay at Shaheen Camp was an incredible experience, even though we were transferred to Hasan Zawaideh Camp due to the low season. Since the camps are next to each other, and likely have the same owners, the transition was seamless, and we were warmly welcomed upon arrival.
From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The staff made sure we felt at home, offering delicious tea, traditional dance, and live music, creating a truly immersive Bedouin experience. The variety of tours and activities they provided allowed us to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Wadi Rum in an unforgettable way.
The food was outstanding—authentic, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every meal felt like a special occasion, adding to the magic of our stay.
The only minor point for improvement was the bed setup, as it was made up of two single beds combined, but honestly, this was such a small detail compared to the overall incredible experience we had.
If you’re looking for a welcoming, authentic, and memorable stay in Wadi Rum, I highly recommend Shaheen and Hasan Zawaideh Camp. I would gladly return for another unforgettable adventure!

GGuest UserWe had a very bad experience during check in. Despite explaining that we were very tired & hungry (as it's already almost 8 in the evening), and we just need to check in immediately & have dinner; the staff at the reception denied our confirmed & paid reservation at trip.com. The staff knew that we were very tired, and we even offered to guarantee reservation with our credit card (just so we get the room & can have dinner); but he insisted to keep us waiting until he can get the response from trip.com.
After waiting for so long, he said that still no responses from trip.com and he just asked us to wait forever. I got really upset after a long argument with him; and i have to strongly argue with him to give us room & we paid with our credit card for a new reservation. WE NEED A ROOM! I showed him the amount I paid for the Seaview Room charged in USD. (I just realised the next day that he charged me the wrong amount instead of calculating it to USD amount with the correct convertion). So i was charged a wrong amount as I was too tired to check how much he charged me.
After a long argument & waiting, he finally gave me the room key; and said sorry for the waiting. They said that they will upgrade the room as an apologies. Just when we were in the room, I found out that they DID NOT upgrade the room. That's exactly the room I booked at trip.com; just I had to pay again with my credit card with a much higher rate! I was to tired to argue with the staff, so I no longer care after calling them saying they didn't upgrade us! This staff didn't even try to change the room; after we said this is not an upgrade. We PAID for this room category at trip.com.
Nobody apologies for these so many mistakes from the staffs or management. When we checked out, the manager asked me how was our stay? He was not even aware that WE HAD ISSUES that they denied our paid & confirmed booking!
Trip.com finally settled this issue with the hotel, and the hotel returned our overpaid credit card charged. Trip.com apologies a few times, they made many efforts to call us a few times. But the hotel & the management acting as if nothing happened! Is this really how a 5 stars hotel service? Luxury what? They treated us like a homeless person begging for room! So UNACCEPTABLE!
I have never experienced staying in a 5 stars hotel with such a BAD service like this! This is the worst in our history of travel! This place must keep their act together! Learn hospitality BETTER! Overall, we were very disappointed, & this place is far from Luxury Collection, it's a CHEAP collection!
GGuest UserBeautiful hotel close to the city center but there is not much to do there.
The hotel is a haven of peace where you are cut off from the world, you dress as you wish which is not necessarily the case outside.
The private beach is small, too bad we can't access the other hotels (walls delimit the hotels)
Small swimming area due to all boats passing nearby.
For a 5* the curtains with holes are average.
Otherwise everything else is great.
The breakfast buffet is huge and varied. The restaurants, on the other hand, are expensive and not great compared to the quality in the city center. They should have created a self-catering restaurant like in the morning.

GGuest UserEverything was fine, but I faced a problem with the lack of availability. For example, I contacted the receptionist in the morning and asked for the room to be cleaned and for my shoes to be changed (the room was cleaned, but the shoes were not provided). In the evening, I asked for the shoes to be provided, and the receptionist replied, ”Immediately,” but my request was not met.

If you're coming to Wadi Rum, Jordan, I highly recommend this place!
GGuest UserMy sister and I were traveling in Jordan. We had high requirements for accommodation. We stayed in the Wadirum Desert for one night and chose this one instead of the bubble house because we thought the bathroom here was better. We were also worried that the bubble house would heat us to death.
The overall experience is good, but the signal in the desert is really bad. Contact your family as soon as possible. Since we bought the Jordan Pass, we have to go to the tourist center to check the ticket and stamp it, and then tell the uncle in the hat which hotel you are staying in. He will ask for your phone number because there are so many hotels... But fortunately, his phone went through as soon as he dialed it, so the hotel arranged a Jeep to pick us up. Note⚠️This jeep is actually the same as the jeep in the jeep tour later. The weather was too hot and we were not happy to sit outside. When we arrived at the hotel, the air conditioning was a bit slow... After half an hour it was still around 33 degrees. Since I didn't have lunch, I ordered a relatively large meal for 15jd. At 5 o'clock, a jeep picked us up to go to the desert to watch the sunset.
⚠️You need to communicate with the hotel in advance about how long you want the tour to last, because it is not free. It is said that under normal circumstances, a 2-hour tour costs 35 DJs. The hotel seems to be more expensive, so it is recommended to ”bargain” ~
The guide was very good. He took us to see the springs in the desert and also saw the sunset at the best spot. It was beautiful!
Dinner was a surprise! Very ceremonial ~ Everyone gathered together to start the 🔛 food night ~
All in all, it's very rich. The only flaw? There is no wine, but if you want, you can prepare it in advance and bring your own ~ Anyway, I regret it very much ~
It started to get cold when I was sleeping... The air conditioner was turned on, and the temperature was about 18 degrees.
Accommodation in the desert basically includes breakfast and dinner. The breakfast the next day is also very rich and ceremonial. It is a full experience.
Without further ado, let’s take a look at the pictures
⚠️Their beds have very wide sides… Anyway, I bumped into them many times
Eight rooms in total
I guess there were about six guests that night.
The hotel manager has done a lot to make us happy. Thank you 🥹
MMoathThe hotel is beautiful and huge, but the swimming pools are very small and not enjoyable, and the sea beach is very small. The staff are wonderful and helpful
