Petra was an amazing experience for us. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this beautiful place. The Nomad Hotel is pretty strategically located near the Petra Visitor Centre, provided you have a car or someone is driving you. It's still a walkable distance but on the way back it can be strenuous as you have to climb uphill to where the hotel is located. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Our room was not really spacious so we had to manage a bit with our large suitcases. But the bed was comfy and we had a good sleep. The view from the rooftop was fantastic. Breakfast was adequate, nothing too fancy but it served its purpose. There is a resident dog called Lucy who is very friendly.
We arrived in Petra with suitcases via the JETT bus, so minimizing the distance we had to walk with luggage was a key consideration — and this hotel was a great fit.
Pros:
• Excellent location — about a 2-minute walk from the JETT bus drop-off point and the Petra Visitor Center; nearby there are restaurants, souvenir shops, and small grocery stores.
• Communicating with staff in English was fine, and they were friendly.
• Good variety in the breakfast buffet.
• The room included a sofa, which was a nice touch.
• The room was quiet.
• Heating/air-conditioning worked well.
• A large bottle of water was provided in the room.
Cons:
• The door stopper on the floor was placed in the narrow walkway next to the sofa — I accidentally kicked it a few times, which was painful. Not the best design choice.
Large room, with perfect bathroom. Very good the pool and the free shuttle service to Petra. Good and large breakfast. Only dinner isn't up to par with the hotel; the buffet is always the same and poorly prepared. It's worth considering that the price of our package was very reasonable, so it's no problem. But at full price, the restaurant isn't worth the stay.
For those driving to Petra, this hotel is arguably the best place to stay. It's conveniently located right across the street from the Petra Visitor Center. In the afternoon, we walked over to explore the Petra Museum. The next morning, we made sure to be among the first group to enter the ancient city right when it opened at 7 AM. This allowed us to avoid the intense sun and enjoy the Siq with very few people, making for an incredibly peaceful experience.
The room wasn't large, but it was perfectly sufficient. We received a complimentary box of about five pastries upon check-in, which were quite tasty.
We had an early breakfast just after 6 AM, and as mentioned, were among the first to enter Petra at 7 AM. We moved through the site quite efficiently and were back at the hotel by around 11 AM, allowing us a little rest before checking out at 12 PM and heading to our next destination.
Also, there are plenty of restaurants near the hotel; a quick search on Google Maps will show many options, and the food quality is generally good.
The hotel is quite close to the ancient city of Petra. Breakfast is also ok. The hotel has a buffet in the evening. 10 yuan (local money) is equivalent to RMB 100. Generally speaking, it is more convenient to live here in the ancient city of Petra. I asked the hotel to help me arrange a car to the hotel in the center of Amman. 650 yuan. 250 kilometers. It is more convenient.
With a stay at Petra Brothers Hotel in Wadi Musa, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Petra and Moses' Spring. This hotel is 1.9 mi (3 km) from Street of Facades and 1.9 mi (3.1 km) from Petra Visitor Center.
Enjoy a meal at the restaurant or snacks in the hotel's coffee shop/cafe. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served daily from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
Free self parking is available onsite.
Make yourself at home in one of the 18 guestrooms. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Bathrooms have showers and hair dryers.
Good location (nearby visitors center but on the hill, you need clime
The service is not very good:
It was the first time when I didn't got information at the reception about breakfast time, spa service, swimm pool, etc.
The bath -hot spring was semi-fulled afternoon.
The bathrobe was so small
The breakfast was ok.
Opportunity for the late check out
Great location, right at the entrance of Petra. The hotel feels great after walking out for a day. There are not many people in the hotel, it is quiet, it feels good, and the breakfast is good. The gift bag in the hotel is better than the outside Cheap, the quality is better than the outside, it is worth recommending. In short, this hotel personally thinks that it is the first choice to go to Petra. When people are young, the room has been upgraded and it is good value for money.
Super, super good!
1. The room was clean and tidy, and the Wi-Fi signal was strong.
2. The hotel owner and staff were all fantastic. Upon check-in, the owner said the drinks and snacks in the room were free for us because we were Chinese, and he likes Chinese people.
3. We had a full-day Petra itinerary on our second day. After asking us, the owner said we could have breakfast whenever we wanted, and he would arrange free transportation for us.
4. We told the owner we wanted to leave at 7 am and asked him to prepare two breakfasts takeaway. The owner was very punctual, and the breakfasts were two large, heavy bags containing simple hot dogs, canned meat, five kinds of whole fruits and vegetables, water, drinks, and yogurt.
5. It's worth emphasizing that the entire hotel was extremely punctual, completely different from our experience in Egypt and Jordan over the past few days.

PPranav Patil PA Fantastic, Value-for-Money Stay with Exceptional Hospitality
I recently stayed at Hotel Petra Gate and had an overall wonderful experience. This hotel is an excellent choice for travelers looking for exceptional value and genuine, personal service.
The most outstanding feature of this hotel is without a doubt the owner. He is incredibly polite, soft-spoken, and went far out of his way to ensure my stay was comfortable. He expertly arranged very affordable cab services for all my travel needs and was invaluable in guiding my sightseeing, offering helpful tips and advice that greatly enhanced my trip.
The hotel itself offers great value for money. A lovely perk is the self-serve coffee and tea service available in the kitchen at any time—a perfect way to start the morning or unwind in the evening.
Petra - Wonder of World is just 1.5km away from this hotel.
· Exceptional Value: Very affordable prices.
· Wonderful Owner: Polite, helpful, and arranged everything from cabs to sightseeing.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very clean and nice view of petra with very friendly owner. The local kitchen is also very nice food, we order lamb mansaf which was perfect!
YYutoupingguoliIt's perfect. It's the best hotel I've stayed in in Jordan. The waiters are very nice. Even though I arrived late for breakfast, I was still very willing to serve. When the temperature was low outside at night, they offered to provide coats to keep warm, which was very considerate. The Petra scenic spot and hot air balloons can be seen from the room window, and pigeons will fly to the window sill to wake up in the morning.
