We chose to book this hotel for the convenience of transit. We didn't expect anything, but it was a pleasant surprise.
Facilities:
It is relatively close to the airport, only about 3 minutes by car.
The guest rooms also provide free mineral water and coffee☕️
The shower in the guest room has a large water flow, which is very comfortable.
Hygiene:
The 2 Virgo babies said it was not too dirty.
Environment:
The lobby is very chill.
Service:
When you enter the lobby, the hotel will serve you free freshly squeezed juice.
Wang Fan Hotel provides free airport pick-up and drop-off.
When we dropped us off at the airport, the driver learned that we were going to the Galapagos Islands. When we arrived at the airport, the driver got off the car and sent us to the designated check-in counter before leaving.

The room is very large and spacious, the service is very good, the breakfast is very rich, the surrounding environment is very beautiful and safe. It is the first choice for business trips and travel. It is highly recommended to stay.
Great service. Super convenient shuttle. Extremely comfortable and perfect for a stay in Guayaquil. Stayed twice. Ate at El Patio, drank at the bar, and enjoyed the sauna. All excellent.
Everything was fine except for the food that was served in room service, the pizza was raw and fruit was rotten and when brought to the attention of the personnel they did nothing in regards
The room was clean and tidy, the check-in and check-out were convenient and smooth, the front desk service was very good, and I was very satisfied with my stay.
The location is pretty good, with the Cocoa Museum downstairs.
Opposite is malecón 2000, where you can take a walk in the evening.
The infinity pool on the rooftop should be an internet celebrity check-in spot, and the view is pretty good.
There are not many kinds of breakfast, the room is average, and the river view is not very good because of the cloudy day. It doesn't have a very high-end feel. The 12th to 17th floors should be hotel apartments.
The hotel is good, the room is big and clean, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a good view. It is also close to the airport, but the bed and chairs occasionally shook when the plane took off, and I thought it was an earthquake. Other aspects are good.
Old Hilton. Public security is better. The room is large but very old. The bedding is relatively clean, and there is a balcony that can even go to the balcony of the next room 😂😂😂, which made me panic to confirm that the balcony door was locked several times. In addition, I spent 32 dollars for breakfast, but Guayaquil was too dangerous to go out to eat. By the way, don't go to the cafe and it's unpalatable.

Hotel Review: Hotel Malecón Inn, Guayaquil, Ecuador I recently stayed at Hotel Malecón Inn in the heart of Guayaquil, and here’s my honest experience: Location: ★★★★★ The hotel’s location is its strongest asset. It’s within walking distance to the Malecón 2000, Las Peñas, and many other key tourist attractions. I loved how easy it was to explore the city from here—whether during the day or in the evening. Staff & Service: The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the reception team. They answered questions and offered directions, though English was limited with some. Still, they tried their best to assist, which I appreciated. Cleanliness & Comfort: The rooms were basic but clean. Bed was decent for a night’s sleep. However, some parts of the hotel feel outdated and could use a refresh. If you’re expecting luxury, this might not be the place, but for a practical and affordable stay, it does the job. Wi-Fi & Amenities: Wi-Fi was okay—stronger in common areas than in the rooms. The air conditioning worked, which was crucial in Guayaquil’s heat. Value for Money: If you’re on a budget and want a central, safe place to stay in Guayaquil, Hotel Malecón Inn offers good value. Don’t expect five stars—but do expect convenience and functionality.
The place is very cozy and has a nice sharm. Good size of rooms and modern bathrooms. Crean and decent size of pool is empressive especially evening time with tons of lights around. Morning breakfast is nice as well. Locaciones the hotel is working distance to main attractions
I stayed at Grand Hotel Guayaquil for 3 days and 2 nights, and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Check-in was quick and easy, which I appreciated after a long trip. My room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The bed was super comfy, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver in Guayaquil’s heat! The location was also perfect — just a short walk to the Malecón 2000 and lots of great places to eat and explore. I loved the pool area — such a nice spot to relax in the afternoon. Breakfast was great too, with plenty of choices and some tasty local options. Overall, I had a really pleasant stay here. It’s a great hotel with a warm atmosphere and excellent service.
Everything was fine except for the food that was served in room service, the pizza was raw and fruit was rotten and when brought to the attention of the personnel they did nothing in regards
The hotel is located close to the airport and bus station. Taxi drivers know it well. A nighttime ride costs $10. The rooms are decorated in a traditional Ecuadorian style. The rooms are clean and cozy. There is air conditioning. The shower has hot water and necessary toiletries. We want to say a big thank you to Christian, who warmly welcomed us after midnight, helped with our luggage, and in the morning he fed us a delicious breakfast. We recommend this small but cozy and welcoming hotel. The only drawback is that it is impossible to reach the hotel at the number provided after 10 PM.
Excellent! From check in, luggage delivery, sushi restaurant, front desk, airport shuttle, friendly and helpful! The sushi restaurant stayed open to serve lunch to our party of 12 lady scuba divers from Galapagos.
The hotel is about 3 minutes by car from the airport and about 5 minutes from the Mall del Sol. The staff at the reception (and also on the phone before my arrival) has been incredibly friendly and helpful: thank you so much! The room was big, full of light, very clean and comfortable. The free shuttle service from and to the airport is a handy and welcome treat. All in all, great hotel.
The Radisson is a good hotel for an overnight stop in Guayaquil. It’s only 10 minutes from the airport and they provide a free airport transfer. It has a nice pool, a decent but small gym, and the food in the restaurant is good, as is the service.
