Stepping into the lobby of Shaoxing Hotel, I finally understood what it means to find luxury 'hidden' in Jiangnan. It’s not the ostentatious, gilded kind, but rather white walls and dark tiles, winding paths leading to private courtyards, like a meticulously preserved Jiangnan garden. Passing through moon gates, circling around rockeries and ponds, Fushan Mountain is just a stone's throw away, with lush tree shadows stretching right to the windows.
The front desk didn't hand me a room card, but a heavy brass key tied with a silk ribbon, feeling as if it could unlock the gates of some ancient mansion. The elevator walls were adorned with ink paintings, local masters' renditions of Shen Garden – the willow branches in the painting still drooped, as if you could hear the sighs of Lu You and Tang Wan.
Suddenly, I realized that a five-star rating isn't displayed on a wall; it's hidden in the details – the weight of that brass key, the warmth of a handwritten note, the uncontainable pride in the tea master's eyes when talking about tea.
The next morning, I was woken by birdsong. Pulling back the curtains, an old man was practicing Tai Chi in the courtyard, each movement slow, much like the pace of this city. Breakfast was at the buffet, and beyond the Western options, there was a dedicated Shaoxing snack station – freshly fried stinky tofu, freshly wrapped ai jiao dumplings, and freshly cooked Ciwu Dajian noodles. The chef, a local auntie, muttered as she cooked, “The broth needs to be ample, the noodles firm, and the toppings freshly stir-fried for the best aroma.”
When leaving, the front desk asked if my stay was enjoyable. I said it was excellent. Even after driving a long way, I looked back and could still faintly see the white walls of Shaoxing Hotel standing amidst the tree shadows. It’s not flashy, not showy, just like this city – reserving its best for those willing to slow down.

Chose to stay at the Sheraton Huzhou Taihu Lake, and it was a wonderful experience with beautiful views and a pleasant environment, perfect for a relaxing family trip. We had butler service, and our butler was incredibly attentive, following up on every detail. The service was impeccable, really top-notch! The room was very clean with excellent attention to detail, and the facilities were complete and in great condition. Highly recommend!

The service was excellent the day before yesterday, I was very satisfied. There are many shared bikes in front of the hotel, and you can ride them to West Lake, which isn't far even on foot, about a 10-minute walk. Wushan Subway Station on Line 7 is just a 5-minute walk away. Hefang Street is also nearby, which is very convenient. The hotel even provides free umbrellas on rainy days. Taxis are also very easy to catch. Subway Line 7 goes directly to Xiaoshan International Airport, and a taxi ride only takes about 30 minutes. The hotel is also not far from attractions like Longjing Village, West Lake, Wushan Scenic Area, and so on. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The hotel is located right in Jinhua city center, surrounded by skyscrapers, and not far from Shuanglong Cave, making it the perfect choice for accommodation. The breakfast is rich and varied, clean and hygienic. It offers great value for money, though the kids' play area is a bit small, only a reading corner, which could be improved.

The Hyatt Place Hangzhou International Airport is perfect for travelers catching a flight! It's super convenient for early morning flights or layovers. The room was clean and comfortable, and I was surprised by how excellent the soundproofing was – I had a peaceful night's sleep. The service was attentive and efficient, and you even get access to fast-track security. It's incredibly convenient, offers great value for money, and is definitely my top choice for airport accommodation!

We had a fantastic stay! The room was spotless, clean, and dry, and came fully equipped with all the daily essentials. They even thoughtfully provided noise-canceling earplugs in a beautiful little pouch, and a delicate wooden comb. There were two types of slippers: a pair of flip-flops and disposable blue patterned cloth slippers. What's great is that items like the blue patterned cloth slippers, the earplugs in their pouch, the small wooden comb, and the body lotion can be taken home as souvenirs – not just the flip-flops! The large bed was incredibly comfortable, the kind that looks inviting just by glancing at it. The front desk was manned by an older gentleman with glasses who spoke slowly but was very thorough and considerate. This time, our guesthouse booking included morning tea. Since I hadn't booked the 'water morning tea' in advance, the kind gentleman told me we could just have it at the guesthouse, and he'd register it for us, so no need for an online reservation. I took photos of the morning tea the next day – it was very generous, and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband said that out of all our travels, this was one of the most comfortable and satisfying stays we've ever had. To summarize, we were both very pleased and had a wonderful time on this trip to Wuzhen.

My stay was very comfortable. The hotel room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were well-equipped, including disposable items like slippers. The bathroom had a wet and dry separation, and there was a full-length mirror and a makeup mirror, which were very convenient to use. The bedding was super comfortable, and there were two pillow options: one slightly higher and a latex pillow, both great for sleeping. The front desk staff even helped carry my luggage to the room during check-in, which was very thoughtful.

Quzhou is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Zhejiang Province. We stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton for a self-driving trip during the National Day holiday. Parking was convenient and free, the service was warm, and the accommodations were comfortable. We were extremely satisfied. The hotel is very close to historical and cultural attractions like Quzhou Ancient City Wall, Shuijingmen Scenic Area, Kong Family Temple of the Southern Branch, and Quzhou Museum. We went exploring in the evening, and the ancient city was bustling with activity – it was fantastic!

A great place for a weekend getaway! The service was excellent; they even helped us with our luggage to the room. A special thanks to Xiao Dong for their service. We were upgraded to a lake-view room, and the balcony offered a stunning view with quaint bridges and the lake. After settling in, we walked along Nanhu Lake to Nanhu Tiandi for dinner and stumbled upon a bread festival, which was a lovely surprise and we got some great finds. Back at the hotel, we found that turndown service had been provided. The next morning, after breakfast, we headed to Haogu Pagoda. I actually wanted to go there on the first afternoon, but we couldn't find the small back entrance, and neither could several other groups who came looking later. We eventually realized it was blocked by illegally parked cars. I hope the hotel can put up a sign there to explain this. After descending the pagoda, we took another stroll around the hotel grounds to enjoy the garden scenery before leaving. We skipped Yuehe and Zicheng, which were mentioned online, as we had to head back in the afternoon, and having been to Xitang, I didn't feel the need to visit another water town; once a year is enough for me. I actually prefer places like Nanhu Tiandi. Of course, for those with more time, it's worth exploring all these places.

The hotel parking is super convenient, with plenty of spaces in the ground-level lot. They allow license plate registration, which is great because you don't have to go to the front desk every time. The self-service laundry room is pretty standard for Hilton Hampton Inns, and I usually use it. My boyfriend wanted to go for a run, so having a self-service washer and dryer was a huge plus. The hairdryer in the room wasn't great – it was noisy and didn't have much power.
I specifically booked a deluxe river view room, and the view was fantastic. The hotel breakfast was also decent; the rice cakes and xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) were delicious.

MM2g5bl4kj****Staying at the Hangzhou Shuxiang Shijia Hotel with my parents was the best decision of our trip! The hotel's impeccable care for older guests made our whole family feel incredibly comfortable and at ease. From the moment we checked in, the staff were warm and proactive. Noticing my parents were older, they deliberately slowed their speech and answered questions patiently. This respect and consideration made my parents feel truly cared for.
The details in the room particularly touched us! The anti-slip shower stool, specifically prepared for older guests, greatly reduced safety concerns during bathing, and this thoughtfulness gave us, as their children, immense peace of mind. After a day of sightseeing, the provided traditional Chinese medicine foot bath bucket was a brilliant touch. My parents soaked their feet, relieving fatigue and promoting better sleep, and they both raved, 'This is wonderful!'
The hotel has an elegant, traditional Chinese style, and there's a small park nearby, perfect for my parents to stroll or relax. Unlike hotels in bustling downtown areas, it's very quiet, ensuring excellent rest quality. The hotel's location is superb; it's very convenient to get to major attractions like West Lake and Hefang Street, whether by taxi or subway, saving my parents from long, tiring journeys.
When traveling with parents, comfort and safety in accommodation are paramount. The genuine details in Shuxiang Shijia Hotel's elderly-friendly services far exceeded our expectations. It's not just a hotel; it's more like a tranquil haven where older guests can rest assured. I highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit Hangzhou with their parents or family; it will definitely make your filial journey even more perfect!
SShouzhongdedaoI come to Hangzhou every year. This time I chose to stay on Longjing Tea Mountain. After comparing several hotels on Ctrip, I feel that Hangzhou Radisson Longjing Manor is more suitable. The hotel is on the tea mountain of Longjing Village. There are tea gardens everywhere. Farmers can pick tea and make tea everywhere on the roadside. The environment is very good. The service of the hotel is very thoughtful. Xiao Chen at the front desk is proficient in business and can meet the requirements of customers as much as possible. We want a room with a better location, so he took us upstairs to choose a room and upgraded the room type for us for free; we stayed in the room and didn’t want to go out, and they gave us a lot of extra bottled water for us to make tea. The rooms in the hotel are very spacious, and each room can see the beautiful scenery outside the window. The linens are clean and comfortable, and all kinds of facilities are complete. The Longjing tea delivered in the room is very fresh and fragrant. Especially for breakfast, although there are not many dishes, the tastes of the several favorite ones are good. The chef’s fried eggs are in place, and the noodles are better than those in restaurants outside. I couldn’t help but eat three servings. I checked out late, and when I checked out, I met the front desk lady Chen again. She brought us water and sent us to the car. I accidentally broke a glass, but she waived our compensation, which made me feel warm! Compared with other hotels in the same area, it may not be the best in the grade, and some hardware is also aging, but considering the environment, service, price and other aspects, if I come to Hangzhou Chashan to live again, I will choose Radisson Longjing Manor.

JJinsededadiThe room was absolutely five-star, and I even got a free upgrade to an Executive King Room, which was fantastic! The cleanliness was satisfactory. The location is superb – just a short stroll to West Lake, and right outside the door is Wulin Night Market, making dining, staying, and sightseeing incredibly convenient. Because it's close to a bustling area, it can be a bit noisy, but that's part of its charm. The service was quite good, though the lobby could get a bit noisy with people coming and going. There were a couple of minor oversights when things got busy, though; I was told there would be a welcome fruit platter when I booked through Ctrip, but it never arrived, even by check-out. It's not a big deal, and I understand. My child really liked it here, though, so I guess we loved the place for their sake!
(The photos I took aren't of the room interior, but of the hotel exterior, the night market entrance, the unique lobby layout, and the night view from the window…)
HhelengaoOur four-night stay at InterContinental Qiandao Lake exceeded expectations. A big thank you to Ms. Ye and Ms. Zhao at the front desk for providing us with the utmost assistance within their means, allowing us to fully experience the beauty of the InterContinental's surroundings. The hotel itself is like a large garden. Both the mountain view and lake view rooms offer stunning scenery. We'd also like to thank the housekeeping staff; not only did they clean meticulously, but upon seeing we had a child, they provided even more thoughtful service. And to the restaurant staff, thank you for the delicious breakfast and dinner.
Qiandao Lake Scenic Area is beautiful with fresh air. We will definitely be back!
GGuest UserThe hotel's renovation is quite impressive, they spared no expense, practically a complete tear-down and rebuild. There's absolutely no hint of an old hotel, which shows the owner's generosity. For a 22-story building, having 5 elevators is excellent, and it doesn't seem to be shared with office spaces.
Back in the room, the amenities are perfectly adequate. While the original room size couldn't be changed, everything else you'd expect is there. The only thing missing is an indicator panel in the elevators.
Breakfast: For the price, it really has everything you could ask for, including several live cooking stations for things like noodles and fried dough sticks, and it all tastes delicious. I'd even say it's better than the Yiwu Marriott. If I had to pick a flaw, it would be with the staff themselves; the training seems lacking. In just half an hour of dining, I saw the same man and woman chatting privately, pushing and pulling each other around.
Housekeeping did a good job overall, though I think they should pay more attention to checking the sofa in the future. Providing 4 bottles of Nongfu Spring water helps reduce the need for refills, which is a big plus. The teapots and cups are both attractive and high quality, and even the coffee cups at breakfast are excellent.
The front desk staff also deserve praise; the concierge on WeChat was always responsive to requests.
The delivery robot for takeout is incredibly fast, whether it's due to the order system or the robot's speed, I'm not sure. Either way, it was faster than I expected.
Given its proximity to Yiwu Tiandi, if they just improve the breakfast service staff a bit, this hotel, in every other aspect, offers great value. Even at a price point ¥50-¥150 lower than the Marriott, it would still be very much worth staying at.
SShicengyuniduoguoyudewuyanJust got back from my trip to Hangzhou, and this Mercure hotel truly exceeded my expectations!
I have to give a special shout-out to Jingjing at the front desk – she was absolutely wonderful! Check-in and check-out were super fast. They even have a robot that delivers your laundry once it's washed and dried, which is incredibly thoughtful!
The hotel itself was very comfortable. The lobby and hallways were spotless, and the bedding and pillows in the room were incredibly comfy. You can even choose a memory foam pillow, so I fell asleep in an instant! The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, and the air conditioning and mini-fridge were both quiet, not making a sound. Breakfast was also good, with freshly made noodles and local snacks – very satisfying.
But the best part was the location! It's right in the city center, just a few steps from Fengqi Road Metro Station. It's super close to West Lake and Hefang Street, and downstairs there are convenience stores, restaurants, bubble tea shops, and everything else you could want. It was so convenient for going out and grabbing a bite to eat or shopping in the evening!
Overall, my experience was fantastic. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hangzhou!
MM868905****This hotel stay truly exceeded my expectations! Not only were the views from the window stunning and pleasant, but the service was also incredibly thoughtful and memorable. From the warm and attentive check-in at the front desk, to the housekeeping staff who promptly responded to requests and kept the room spotless during my stay, even the restaurant staff were meticulous, proactively recommending dishes and refilling tea and water. The entire experience was top-notch, and I will definitely choose this place again for my next trip!
GGuest UserThe service was warm and attentive, and our dedicated butler, Kit, responded promptly. The breakfast was plentiful, the pool was clean, and there's a gym. The surrounding area is quiet and tidy, and it's conveniently located near a metro station. The room facilities are complete; though a bit dated, they are still perfectly functional. Overall, a good experience.
ZZaeraFinally found my dream mountain hot spring B&B, hidden deep within Anji's vast bamboo forests. The minimalist black architecture stands out strikingly amidst the lush greenery. Check-in was super smooth; the butler proactively helped with luggage. The private hot spring in the room was perfect – soaking in the warm water while watching the mountain mist and swaying bamboo shadows, and even stargazing at night. Breakfast and afternoon tea were also excellent. It's only a ten-minute drive from Yunshang Grassland, so after skiing, you can relax in the private hot spring – a double dose of healing! The service details were impeccable, they even delivered warm sweet soup to my door as a goodnight treat. I'll definitely stay here again next time!
GGuest UserI have to commend the hotel's butler service; it's truly seamless and incredibly thoughtful. The hotel offers a wide range of activities, catering to both relaxation and excitement, and they are all meticulously arranged with dedicated staff accompanying guests, making our stay at the hotel truly fulfilling. Wendy contacted me a day before check-in and even saw us off at the hotel entrance when we left, presenting us with a small hotel gift. This made us feel incredibly warm and cared for, adding greatly to our overall experience during our stay. My best friend and I both agree that the hotel's service and experience deserve full marks. The hotel's dining is also excellent, with carefully selected ingredients and exceptional quality control. I'm planning to bring my parents here for a visit next time; it's definitely worth repeat visits.
