The lighting a bit dark but the room was clean.
The bathrooms were clean too but there was no shower door or curtain so the bathroom floor got flooded a lot and we had to use up our towels.
The location is about 5min walk from sloterdjik station.
They also offer bike rental.
The Hotel is a nice option only for short stay,
No wardrobe in the room that’s why it is only suitable for short stay, Otherwise the View is very nice and the breakfast as well, leaving some photos of the nice view from room here,
The receptionist was a bit strict on the name in the Trip.com account/reservation should be identical to the one in the presented ID, first time to see this, so watch out for this before you reserve for someone else or if you reserve with a nickname
The room was bigger than expected, with super comfortable beds (a bit smaller in size but great sleep quality). Sound insulation was excellent, so the room was quiet and relaxing. Check-in was smooth and there were always staff around to help; same for check-out and luggage storage, which made everything very convenient.
The bathroom was spacious and clean, though I personally don’t like the half-glass shower door design, as it tends to make the outside shower we, but otherwise it was great. Cleaning was spotless and done daily.
We didn’t include breakfast at first but decided to try it later, it was definitely worth the €22.50 per person. There were plenty of choices, and the smoked salmon, olives, and cheese section were especially nice. Honestly, breakfast cafés in Amsterdam cost about the same or more, so having a full buffet here felt like good value.
There isn’t much going on immediately around the hotel, but it’s right next to a metro station that takes you to the central area in just a few minutes. A great option if you prefer to stay somewhere quieter yet well connected.
I booked this hotel for a three-night stay in Amsterdam, and overall, I found it to be quite good.
Location: It's incredibly convenient, right next to the Noord metro station and bus stop. It's only two stops to the city center, and there are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, covering all basic daily needs.
Room Facilities: The room itself was a bit compact, but the bathroom was spacious. Even with three people and three large suitcases, we could still move around comfortably. The beds were a good size, perfect for three people. The blackout curtains worked well, and the soundproofing was decent. My only complaint is that the pillows were square, which I found a bit uncomfortable. Also, the bathroom mirror was installed so high that I could only see the top of my head, let alone using it as a makeup mirror – it was practically out of reach!
Service: If you press the cleaning button, they come to tidy the room daily, and I was satisfied with the cleanliness. If you run out of bottled water, you can pick some up at the front desk.
While the value for money wasn't exceptional, it's pretty standard for the area, and overall, I had a pleasant stay!

The hotel is right by the airport, but still, it's very quiet. The room is comfortable enough, but no amenities such as a shower cap.
The breakfast was ok, less options for vegetarians than other hotels.
A big payable parking is provided on-site. Still, it was packed when we arrived. There was just one small space left that we managed to squeeze into.
Overall a great hotel close to the airport if you're not looking to stay for long.
The Qbic Hotel Amsterdam WTC is ideally located, roughly halfway between Sloterdijk and Centraal train stations, and just a short walk from Zuid metro station. This makes it easy to reach the city center in just 5 to 10 minutes.
The hotel offers a variety of comfortable rooms featuring climate control, rainfall showers, and high-quality mattresses. Smart TVs with internet access are also provided at no extra cost.
Breakfast is excellent, with a wide selection ranging from classic options like bacon and scrambled eggs to fresh pastries and Dutch specialties. Near the reception, guests can also purchase drinks and snacks—perfect for enjoying while out exploring the city.
A little far out from the centre but we did not mind the travel to the centre. Metro/bus stops were under 10mins walk, very accessible. The neighbourhood was lovely had plenty of convenience stores nearby including a Lidl and New York Pizza takeaway. The staff were hospitality and had room service every day of our stay. We were able to leave our belongings in the hotel as our flight arrived earlier than check in time and bonus was we were able to check in half hour early than the check in time. Room was equipped with mini fridge, coffee machine, shower, radiator, TV and AC. Only problem was from the second day there was cigarette smell sipping into our room. It was very strong and my guess was that it came from the bathroom vents, this was very unsettling as we asked for a non smoking room due to my asthma. Everything else was top notch
Located in a quiet place, away from the city. The room is spacious, clean and tidy. It has a full kitchen with stove and oven, very convenient for self cooking. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk away from Albert Heijn and it's close to the tram stop.
After checking out, we left our luggage at the reception and went for a walk before coming back. The reception was really helpful and it was an easy process.

Very Good
TTSJGreat stay in Novotel Amsterdam City. This is more like a business hotel - high speed and stable wifi, generally clean, spacious, with in-room Nespresso coffee machine and shower amenities (using Ritual products!). Would be great if room slippers are included. Hotel is near to the convention centre, 15 minutes drive from airport and walking distance to the tram and metro.
On the first or second day of our stay, realised the housekeeping was ”half done” - the tablecloth on our desk, bed not done and bathroom not cleaned. Was quite worrying at first - we took it as a one-off mistake and didn't pursue. After which we are heartened by the prompt and efficient housekeeping :)
GGuest UserThe location is excellent..10min walking distance from the train station central. Hotel is next to the Dam Square..also walking distance to red light street..room is small overall is clean..only the toilet..a bit difficult to flush away.. reception is doing a great job..I feel warm and welcome..they also give me the perfect recommendation..my bad that I didn't ask the name of the gentleman..he is being helpful indeed.
TT. ÇınarIt was a fascinating 3-day-journey. I really liked the hotel and the staff… They welcome you at the reception with a kind big smile. They gave two magnets while check-in and 3 key rings while checking out as presents.
Hotel’s location is very close (7-8 mins on food) to Sloterdijk Station which you can have access to train, metro, tram, public and international bus.
The room was clean. They changed the towels and cleaned the room on the second day. The bed was so comfortable and big enough. There was also a microwave oven, fridge, kettle and coffee/tea bags…
The only missing things are air condition and hair dryer.. there was a fan which works but seems mot enough to cool down the room.
If I come to Amsterdam one more time, I will stay there again.
AAnonymous UserThis place is convenient and cost effective as compared to other hotel options. The rooms are as the name indicates capsule size. Bathroom is large A cleaning cleaning my room realised I left a hard copy of my ticket behind he came down to give it to me and I showed him my soft copy I wanted to tip him but he was reluctant to take it. I am sharing this to show why I give the staff 5 stars. This is my second time here.
GGuest UserThe place is squeaky clean, their behavior is amazing! The only downside is that it's a bit far. Well I guess they can do nothing about it, hence the lower price.
HHskiltonNice hotel, good breakfast as well. A bit out of the centre but near a train station (10min walk max) which can take you straight to Amsterdam Central. Staff were nice, hotel room was clean and quiet as rooms were away from the busy lobby. Really can’t complain myself and my girlfriend stayed here and we enjoyed!
JJessePoonLocated canalside, the hotel offers beautiful river views and stunning sunsets from its upper floors. It's conveniently situated right by a subway station, not too far from the city center, yet surprisingly quiet. However, the 25-euro breakfast felt a bit expensive for the limited options available. Despite this, the hotel's ambiance is very pleasant.
AAnonymous UserExtremely disappointing experience.
The room was messy and poorly maintained from the start — dirty floors, clothes and trash everywhere, and absolutely no sense of hygiene. My roommates were loud and inconsiderate, making it impossible to rest. I requested a room change, but staff said all rooms were full.
I haven’t had a proper night’s sleep in two days, and it completely ruined my trip. Definitely not worth the money, and I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean or peaceful stay.
