Overall it is above average considering the price. The location is quite central. Bathroom cleanliness needs some improvement. There is a multilevel car park beside the hotel which is connected to the hotel by a walkway. Parking is free for hotel guests.
The hotel number is not the same as on the website, no one answers the call, they are awareness of the flood situation that causes the customer unable to enter the hotel but they do not want to compromise and has no consideration.
Pro: Hotel location is quite central with surrounding lively food stalls, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. It is also walkable to prime attractions such as the Flamboyan Market and the Kapuas River Waterfront. Breakfast is fairly good despite limited choices. Rooms are spacious, clean, and basic. Hotel decor is primarily modern vs classic European style—both beautiful inside and outside. WiFi is available but was not informed by the check-in staff. All staff are very polite, and that is a big plus!
Cons: The area is a bit overcrowded, but that is reasonable. Some exposed areas are a bit unsightly, especially around the hallway. Constant error beeping near the elevator is annoying and the doorbell keeps on malfunctioning.
XC's service is good. It showed that there is an airport shuttle bus, but after waiting for more than half an hour, it turned out that there was no shuttle bus. I received a cash subsidy of 30 yuan, which is not much but much better than that.

DDSJ141I recently stayed at the Golden Tulip Pontianak and had a truly fantastic experience. The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to explore the city. The room was clean, spacious, and equipped with modern amenities. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and the strong Wi-Fi.
GGuest UserIt was our second stay at this hotel in 4 months. We especially liked the poolside terrace where we can see the sun rise over breakfast. The staff were excellent with their service and attentiveness.

TTong Robert KennedyThe third day. Everything is fine, only that is a bit annoying when there is a big truck, the road in the room is also going to be shaken, other than that everything is no problem.

NNurfa777Hotel lobby looks nice. But people smokes openly inside this air conditioning space, such a turn off. Check in without hassle. Very fast. 2 person at the counter working. Warm face towel and welcome drinks offered complimentary. Swimming pool available but its raining during my visit. Didn’t get to utilize it. Room is okay but air conditioning is bad. Not cold. Complaint to receptionist but doesn’t seem to have any impact after the maintenance check it. View from room 1909 is amazing since its the 19th floor. Overall for a 4star hotel, its overated and overpriced
AAnugrah1999The service is friendly and very helpful. The room conditions are clean, tidy and ready to be occupied. The motorbike parking area is behind the building and the condition is spacious, and there are also those who guard the parking lot.
