[”Amazing value for money! It's a 2-minute walk directly to West Lake, and downstairs you'll find a shopping area and subway entrance, making getting around super convenient. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful, proactively upgrading my room and even giving me Longjing tea. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and coming back to a hot shower after a tiring day of sightseeing was so therapeutic. If you're on a budget, this place is definitely the right choice!”,”I was so surprised by how comfortable it was for this price point! It's not far from West Lake, just a 10-15 minute taxi ride. The room had a smart toilet and a projector for screening, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was a big plus. Although breakfast was simple, it was filling. The front desk lady was enthusiastic and patient, giving detailed recommendations for attractions and routes. Choosing this place for a trip to Hangzhou is both hassle-free and budget-friendly!”,”The location is absolutely fantastic. Step out and you're right on the West Lake walking path. After exploring Broken Bridge and Oriole Singing in the Willows, it's just a short walk back to the hotel to rest. The room isn't large but has everything you need, and the soundproofing is good, so it's quiet at night. There are tons of snack shops nearby; you can get Cong Baohui and Dingsheng糕 (Dingsheng Cake) just a few steps away. It's all about convenience and comfort!”]

First time to wuzhen cuz of the views and it is indeed better to experience in person and our stay was very pleasant. We came at the time where it is lull season so there is no crazy crowd. The check in process was smooth and we got them to deliver the luggage for us so we can explore the area first. Then when we are tired we can just look for the buggy and get them to drive us to a drop off point near our minsu.
The minsu hosts were super friendly and inviting, like staying in your relatives house. We asked them for where we can buy some ginger tea as it was quite cold one night and they just went and kindly make a pot of ginger tea for us. Super appreciate this gesture!
The room was spacious and well equipped with amenities. Our room did not face the waterside view but we still had a small lake view and it feels very private. As we stayed in the scenic area we also get to experience the night walks.
Their breakfast was simple but well prepared and of big portions. Love their local food. Overall great experience and wish we had stayed one more day there!

I booked this hotel in the terminal as my flight arrived late at night, and it truly is conveniently close. The room was spacious enough and had all the basic amenities. However, the light from the hallway would seep into the room through the gap under the door, and light also came in through the sides of the curtains. For those sensitive to light, it's impossible to get a good night's sleep. If you don't have time for breakfast, you can get a packed meal with two pieces of bread and milk. Overall, it's a good hotel for a brief layover.

My stay at Xitang Yuyaxuan's 180-degree river view room was absolutely perfect, completely fulfilling all my imaginings of a Jiangnan water town.
The room's floor-to-ceiling windows and balcony framed the misty promenade and the gurgling river into a living painting. I slept beside the water, watching the morning mist drift over the stone bridges and black-awning boats cut through the dawn light. In the evening, I admired the setting sun painting the corridor roofs red and lanterns gradually illuminating like stars – truly ”living within the scenery.”
The guest room itself was also incredibly charming, cleverly converted from an ancient Ming and Qing dynasty residence. The interior retained the elegant antiquity of wooden beams and carved windows, yet was equipped with modern comforts, showcasing a strong sense of design. Lying on the soft bed, with the gentle sound of sculling oars in the background, even my dreams were imbued with the warmth of the water town.
This is undoubtedly an excellent place to experience the essence of Xitang, and I highly recommend it to every traveler seeking tranquility and beautiful views.

The room was very clean, and the service was great. The hotel's location is also super convenient. To the left is Intime, and to the right is Qinghefang. Traveling with friends, it was easy to get anywhere nearby. We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel offered a day trip to nearby attractions, which was excellent! We visited West Lake, Lingyin Temple, the First God of Wealth Temple, a tea plantation, and Qinghefang. Hangzhou East Railway Station is also very close, so we even squeezed in a quick trip to Shanghai.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise! All the services were excellent. My luggage was handled for me, and I was offered warm roasted sweet potatoes right after checking in – absolutely perfect for such a cold day. They even have popsicles, which would be amazing in the summer. Beyond breakfast, they also serve lunch and afternoon tea. I'm not much of a morning person and usually just want noodles or wontons, so it was great that they still had food available even when I woke up past 10 AM. There's also a laundry room and a gym, though I didn't get to use them much. Although the room was a bit small, it was comfortable and had everything I needed. Many items were disposable, which made it feel very hygienic. I'd definitely come back again!

Choosing this hotel for our trip was absolutely the right decision! The location is fantastic – just a ten-minute walk to the scenic spots, so no need to rush for transportation early in the morning. It was super convenient to pop back to the hotel for a rest when we got tired. Plus, there are several local eateries nearby, making evening food hunts incredibly easy.
When we checked in, the front desk even proactively recommended some less-known sightseeing routes, which was a really thoughtful touch. Our room on the fourth floor had an amazing view; we could pull back the curtains and see the Southern Song Imperial Street right outside, perfect for photos. The room's cleanliness was impeccable; the sheets and duvet covers were spotless, and the bathroom's wet/dry separation was well-done, so the floor wasn't soaking wet after a shower. There was plenty of hot water and excellent water pressure, which was wonderful for a relaxing hot shower after a full day of exploring.
The hotel's breakfast selection wasn't huge, but it was fresh. The freshly cooked noodles and wontons were delicious and very authentic with the toppings – we really enjoyed them. The soundproofing was also good; with the windows closed at night, we barely heard any street noise, allowing us to sleep soundly until we naturally woke up.
For this price point, the experience was incredible – truly excellent value for money. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to the area!

Booked a suite at the Hilton Jiaxing via Trip.com, and the experience far exceeded my expectations! Upon entering, I was immediately impressed by the expansive space. The living room and bedroom were distinctly zoned, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a picturesque panorama of the city skyline blending with the serene lake. With the lights on at night, the ambiance was absolutely captivating.
Every detail in the suite showed thoughtful consideration: the bedding was cloud-soft, allowing me to drift off to sleep instantly. The bathroom featured a modern wet/dry separation and an oversized bathtub, perfect for soaking away a day's fatigue. The mini-bar was well-stocked with a great selection of drinks, instantly making it feel like a cozy home away from home.
The service was simply impeccable. Duty Manager Cathy provided a flawless response to all requests. Check-in at the front desk was quick and efficient, and room service was incredibly prompt – when I requested an extra pillow in the evening, it was delivered within minutes.
The breakfast the next day offered a huge variety, with both Chinese and Western options – definitely a must-try!
Whether for a business trip or a family vacation, this place offers a perfect experience. It has already been added to my go-to list for stays in Jiaxing!

You truly understand what a five-star hotel experience should be like only after staying in a five-star hotel in Zhejiang.
In short: Absolutely recommend it! If you're coming to Shaoxing, you *must* stay at the Shaoxing Hotel at least once!
**Ambiance**: As Shaoxing's traditional state guesthouse, it's beautiful and grand, a tranquil oasis tucked away at a bustling street corner. From the moment you drive into the hotel lobby, there's just one feeling – this money was well spent.
**Facilities**: We booked a loft in Building 8, which is perfect for traveling with parents. Three adults in one family don't need to book two rooms; you can be together while still maintaining relatively independent spaces. The independent bathroom upstairs was a pleasant surprise.
**Parking**: Although the hotel is large, there's ample parking, thoughtfully accommodating the needs of each building. Both ground-level and underground parking are available in front of Building 8, complete with charging piles. You can park your car and take the elevator directly upstairs, completely avoiding the hassle of dragging luggage through the massive hotel.
**Service**: It boasts the kind of service you'd expect from a five-star hotel. From the moment our car pulled up to the lobby, someone was there to guide us, help with luggage, and assist with check-in. The shuttle bus continuously transports guests between the various buildings, which is very convenient. Especially in the morning, as soon as you step downstairs, there are staff members directing you to the breakfast area, and the shuttle bus is already waiting. In short, any time I felt the need for service, it was readily provided – excellent!
**Breakfast**: I *must* commend the breakfast! In an era where pre-made dishes are everywhere, it's truly rare to find such a rich and varied breakfast that clearly isn't pre-made! Many specialty pastries are being freshly prepared by chefs right before your eyes. The 68 RMB per person buffet breakfast is highly recommended! Also, during holidays, it can get crowded, but several hotel managers were on-site, guiding guests to tables, instructing servers to clear tables promptly, and responding to various customer requests. I haven't seen this level of service in a long time; it felt very reassuring and comfortable.
**Final Thoughts**: In recent years, while my parents are still active, I've been taking them to explore different cities across the country. Along the way, I've had disappointing experiences at various so-called ”old-brand five-star” hotels, which made me distrustful of five-star establishments, preferring instead to choose Huazhu or Atour. This time, our New Year's Day trip was primarily for leisure, and we chose Shaoxing Hotel because we wanted a loft-style room. It turned out to be the highlight of our entire trip. The hotel's配套 seasonal Cantonese restaurant is also delicious and equally recommended!

The hotel's location is excellent, and the entire decor has a Republican China-era style, which is very elegant and full of atmosphere. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast with a good variety of options. The service is exceptional; they contacted us in advance, provided a free room upgrade, offered shuttle service to and from the parking lot, and waived the parking fee. Makabaka was also very thoughtful and attentive, giving us guidance on touring the scenic area. Overall, we felt very much at home, and I'd definitely recommend it to friends.

AAnonymous UserThe room is clean and tidy. There are many books to read in the lobby. There are also free Hanfu costumes to borrow for taking photos. There are Tremella soup and tea eggs for midnight snacks in the evening. Parking is convenient. The surrounding subway is not very convenient. There is a villa garden next to it where you can take a walk and drink tea and coffee.
__WeChat54958****Before arriving, I read quite a few reviews and honestly had some concerns. I had initially planned to book two rooms, but due to a mix-up and booking late, I only managed to secure one. With a 'what-the-heck' attitude, I called, and Ms. Shao Linfang from the reservations department answered. She said she'd help me confirm. Although I couldn't get the second room, she was incredibly responsive, upgraded my existing room, and even arranged for a fruit platter. She also proactively asked if I needed children's amenities, which were prepared and ready in the room, along with a mini-bar. It truly lives up to its reputation as a seasoned five-star hotel; the overall service standard is consistently excellent. Crucially, the hotel's location is superb. Wulin Night Market is right downstairs, and West Lake is just a 10-minute walk away. This was incredibly convenient, especially when West Lake's traffic restrictions made it impossible to get a taxi. The buffet breakfast also offered a good variety. I was very satisfied with the accommodation on this trip. A special thanks to Ms. Shao!
RRomeryIt was our second time in Kingdom Hotel and we plan to stay always there. The staff is really outstanding. They helped us to change our booking even after the cancellation period, because of the flight delay. Kelly, that can speak English, was incredibly nice, and she asked for a driver to collect at the airport our Apple power bank, without CCC mark, otherwise it would be retained by the authorities. When we returned to the hotel 2 days later, it was stored at the reception and we picked it up. We just needed to pay for the driver. We have no words for this kind gesture. Amazing! The staff really cares about the customers needs and puts themselves in their shoes. We will definitely come back to Kingdom Hotel.
MM353196****As a frequent business traveler to Hangzhou, my stay at the Mercure Hangzhou West Lake Fengqi Road completely elevated my business trip accommodation experience! The location is an absolute prime hub, just a 5-minute walk to Jianguo North Road Metro Station. It saves so much time whether I'm heading to Wulin Intime or Kerry Centre for meetings, or catching a train back from Hangzhou East Station. Even a relaxing stroll by West Lake is only a 15-minute walk away. The room amenities perfectly meet my business needs: smart room controls are easy to use, high-speed WiFi is consistently smooth without any lag, and the spacious desk with a comfortable chair makes working late on documents feel less tiring. The bathroom has a separate shower and bathtub, along with dual sinks, so soaking in the tub after a long day is incredibly stress-relieving. The complimentary mini-bar drinks are a thoughtful bonus. The service efficiency is outstanding; the 24-hour front desk handles check-in and check-out very quickly. The robot delivery for food and water is prompt, and they offer free luggage storage. The breakfast buffet offers a rich variety of both Western and Chinese options, allowing me to grab a nutritious meal in just 5 minutes, which perfectly suits the fast pace of business travel. This will definitely be my go-to choice for future trips to Hangzhou!
MM502229****On my business trip to Jinhua this time, I chose the Four Seasons Yijing hotel because of its convenient location. After my stay, I was completely won over and just had to give it a glowing review!
The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. It's just a 5-minute walk from Jinhua High-Speed Rail Station, so no hassle even with luggage. Getting to Intime City and Yongsheng Shopping Plaza for some retail therapy or dining is only a 7-minute walk away, making it incredibly convenient for both food and shopping. The front desk staff during check-in were exceptionally friendly and patient, explaining all the hotel facilities. Later, one of them even offered to iron my shirt for my business meetings – such thoughtful details really made an impression! Plus, it's very convenient to get to Dongyang Hengdian from the Jinhua light rail station.
GGuest UserThe hotel was very nice, the staff exceeded my expectations, Igor the manager he did everything from withdrawing money, extending my stay till literally reading my mind, before I even asked he already knew what I wanted. Exceptional service will definitely come again 👏
__WeChat41221****My expectations were fully met, and the hotel lived up to the hype. The only minor drawback is that check-in isn't until 3:30 PM (though earlier check-in is possible if rooms are available), but this hotel is just incredibly popular.
The hotel boasts numerous rooms with an exceptionally high occupancy rate and a variety of room types. Stepping inside, there's a magical sense of calm. For the same price, you might only get a standard room in Shanghai, but here we enjoyed a lake view suite.
The service was also top-notch; my family felt right at home, praising the hospitality. It was money well spent.
Even during the holiday, the swimming pool and hot spring weren't overcrowded, which speaks to excellent management, as reservations are required. Since it's winter, swimming was a bit chilly. However, there's also a sizable, slightly warmer children's pool area, which is absolutely fantastic.
LLudanxiaTraveling with our kids this time, the hotel's butler service was truly the most touching part! As soon as we got out of the car, the butler proactively came to help with our luggage and arranged the most convenient transportation and sightseeing routes for us, which saved us so much hassle. This kind of family-like care made us feel completely at ease throughout our stay. Seeing the children have so much fun, we knew we had picked the right place! ❤️
MM769141****Had a great stay! The location is excellent, really close to Hubin 88, in77, and Gonglian CC – just a few minutes' walk. The environment was also very good, no dirt anywhere, and the cleaning staff tidied up daily (they'd ask first or wait for the 'please clean' sign). Soundproofing was surprisingly good too. Being right by the road, I expected some traffic noise, but I didn't hear a thing at night and slept very soundly, hehe. Lastly, the lovely ladies and gentlemen at the front desk were all wonderful, with super friendly attitudes! 。:.゚ヽ(*´∀`)ノ゚.:。
WWulongaihechaMy family and I visited Xixi Wetland during the National Day holiday and stayed in Room 19 of the 'Hushu Guest House.' The 60-square-meter room was spacious and airy, perfect for three people. The decor was a charming Chinese retro style, and the garden landscape was beautiful and serene. Overall, the stay was fantastic! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
🏠 **Indoor Environment:** The room featured an entryway for shoes, a bathroom, a sitting area, a bedroom, and a private outdoor terrace. I loved being able to see the lake directly from the bed – very relaxing. A nighttime soak in the tub was wonderful, with a lovely view outside the window.
💁 **Service:** The butler and all staff members were incredibly polite and enthusiastic. There was a dedicated shuttle service from the North Gate of the wetland. After check-in, the butler thoughtfully explained the hotel's garden design and surroundings, then guided us to our room and detailed its layout. We received complimentary welcome fruit and evening service, and the entire room smelled fragrant and fresh. We also participated in a craft class with an instructor, which was a great experience.
🍃 **Outdoor Environment:** The winding paths were secluded and picturesque. All guest room areas could be accessed via a single loop, so there was no getting lost, and along the way, we experienced various scenic views. The air was fresh, there was abundant greenery, and it was very quiet – even the elderly enjoyed it.
📪 **Minor Drawbacks:** Unfortunately, the complimentary photoshoot service we were offered fell through as the collaborating photographer bailed, so we didn't get to experience that. Also, we forgot to claim the complimentary drinks at the bar.
