My stay at this hotel was truly exceptional from the very first moment. The welcome was impeccable, making me feel immediately comfortable and valued as a guest. Upon arrival, we were delighted to receive a basket of fresh fruit, which was a thoughtful and refreshing touch. The following day, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary breakfast. Everything was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of high-quality options. What made the experience even more special was the breathtaking view over the village, which created a perfect and relaxing atmosphere. I would also like to highlight the reception staff, who were extremely kind, attentive, and always ready to help. Every one of my requests was met with efficiency and a smile, including assistance with laundry services. Overall, this hotel exceeded all expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay.

The room faced a large construction site, and they were still banging away at 11 PM, only to start up again before 7 AM. Luckily, I was so tired from visiting Tianmen Mountain during the day that I fell asleep quickly despite the noise. The hotel's location is right opposite the Tianmen Mountain cable car, but unfortunately, the cable car was under construction. We could only take it to the middle station, then had to take a long winding mountain road to the top. Personally, I think route A/B is not as good as route C; you can just take a taxi to the mountain gate. So, the hotel's prime location turned out to be a bit of a mixed blessing. I haven't stayed at a Hampton Inn before, so I'm not sure if it's because it's a scenic area hotel, but it felt quite basic. There were no children's play facilities, and the breakfast was very simple with nothing particularly good to eat. Apart from that, I was quite satisfied with the hotel room itself. It was spacious, and all the amenities were thoughtfully provided. The room looked neat and tidy, and there was nothing uncomfortable about the stay. The staff were also very enthusiastic, which I really appreciated. If it weren't for the large construction site opposite, I would recommend it. Actually, staying on the other side of the hotel probably wouldn't have been so noisy. We checked in around 8 PM that night, initially thinking they would stop construction later, but to our surprise, they were still going strong past midnight. When I first saw the two pairs of earplugs on the bedside table, I didn't understand why they were there, but it all made sense later – it was truly frustrating. This construction site won't be finished for at least a year or a year and a half, so consider carefully if you plan to stay here.

The room itself was cozy and comfortable, and most importantly, the bedding was clean, so I slept really well. The location is fantastic, directly opposite the Tianmen Mountain cable car lower station, just a few minutes' walk away. The owner was also very welcoming and helped me with my luggage. The front desk even gave us some oranges! There are plenty of restaurants in this area too, so it's a great spot. It's about a 20-minute drive from Zhangjiajie West Station.

The location is excellent being at the scenic spot itself. That's a shop selling noodles buns and snacks right beside the hotel. I stayed on the 5th floor and the view was excellent. The only thing is there is no elevator and I have to climb up the flights upstairs. So it is not recommended for those who have problems climbing. You can ask to stay at level one though when you book and the owner will accommodate. They also helped to carry my luggage up and down the flight of stairs. The room is very comfortable and there's a projector where we can watch movies. There will be no more noise from the pub after 11:30 pm. There's air conditioning and heating in the room. One thing to note transport is very difficult to get from the train station to the hotel. So bad to arrange pick up and send off with the hotel beforehand. Difficulty to get transport is a norm in Phoenix ancient town.

Five-star rating | Sheraton Changde Stay Experience Beyond satisfied! The front desk service was warm and efficient, making for a seamless check-in. The room was spacious and tidy, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering lake views, and the Sweet Sleeper bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was extensive, and the Changde rice noodles were absolutely amazing. The 24-hour gym and pool facilities were complete, offering a fantastic experience. The location is close to Wanda Plaza, making travel and dining super convenient. I'll definitely come again!

This is the second time i come here to this hotel , and it won’t be the last time, there may be other hotels with similar or better views, but the service of the girl in the reception is the reason why i will always choose the Siman luxury hotel, she is so friendly so helpful so kind so serviable so professional , makes me feel home , i live in changsha i don’t need a hotel to stay the night, but whenever i need to feel home i come to this hotel thanks to her she is one of the best receptionists that all the hotels need , that girl deserves the best , and i love this hotel as long as she’s here , but the hotel it’s self is beautiful calm and comfortable clean and everything is in the order as well ❤️

I specifically booked the room because of the large floor to ceiling window. I was initially put in a room with super small windows, quite dark and I had to ask for the room I actually booked. Unfortunately there is a massive building and construction site right in of window! So, despite the room being really nice and comfortable, in that specific topic, the pictures are quite misleading overall. There was not so much noise from the construction, but the ”mountain view is sideways. The location is super convenient. The bus line 17 stops few meters from the hotel and connects to the high speed station. The cable to the mountain is just a couple of minutes walking distance. 1 person of the staff is incredibly nice and helpful and does everything to give you information and help. The other one doesn't speak a word of English, struggles to use translator app but also puts no effort. It was really hard to communicate. The restaurants below the hotel are good.

We are from New Zealand and Australia and had the best stay here, the staff were incredible, the interior design of the hotel was amazing and relaxing. It was our favourite place to stay out of our whole trip to China! Peng Xiaoyan was so hospitable and even helped us pre book everything prior, as well as the staff who were there during our time. We got recommend Tang Ximing as our tour guide and he was the best. So informative, made us laugh and a very friendly guy. Would give this place a ten star review if we could! ⭐️😌

Great hotel very close to Tianmen Mountain. The room was super clean and had plenty of amenities. They even upgraded my room, which was a nice surprise. They also offer free transport to Tianmen Mountain and a free airport pickup service, which made everything much easier. Highly recommended!

Lovely hotel with excellent service. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The rooms were very clean, and well stocked with ameneties. The bathroom and shower were spotless. Beds were clean, and sheets and pillows were comfortable. The location was excellent and I could visit all the places I wanted to go to in Zhangjiajie with ease. Very good food options nearby as well as convenience stores and many Didis available in the area. Breakfast buffet was delicious and even had a noodle bar which I thoroughly enjoyed. Laundry also available for guests in the hotel. Also there was a gym which was decently well equipped. Xiao Li was very helpful and kindly organised a mountain facing room for me. She also suggested an itinerary, as well as booked all of my tickets for me and answered questions I had during my stay. This was very helpful as my Chinese isnt very good and it saved me a lot of stress booking. Overall, an excellent hotel and even better service, made my visit to China very enjoyable, and I will be back next time I visit Zhangjiajie.
