"Loved the service. The front desk team are super friendly and helpful. Here are the reasons why I'd rate 4/5: room cleanliness (we noticed stains), the lack of hair conditioner (bottle in the shower was empty), 1 tissue left in the tissue box (with no backup boxes), and we only got 2 sets of towels despite there being 3 people staying the night. Once I asked for the towels, they readily gave me them. It was just disappointing that I had to walk to reception to retrieve them."

In central Ottawa, we’re located less than a half kilometer from the Rogers Centre and shopping and entertainment at Byward Market and CF Rideau Centre. The University of Ottawa is only 400 meters away. Indoor parking beneath the hotel, several event rooms, a fitness center, indoor pool, and an on-site restaurant and bar complete your stay.

"The room was quite comfortable, and the bedding was just right. Overall, the hotel felt pretty good. Its location, right in the heart of the city, is particularly convenient for transportation and city walks. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic, always offering warm walnut pie, which made up for the slight inconvenience of the lobby renovation. They say it'll be finished in May, and looking at the renderings, the newly renovated lobby seems promising. There's one slightly unpleasant incident I'd like to mention. We booked a room with breakfast, and on the first morning, we went to the restaurant. After registering our room number at the entrance, the server immediately asked if we'd like coffee or tea. I asked for a double espresso, and she cheerfully arranged our seating while talking, which felt quite good. However, as our meal was nearing its end, the server presented a bill saying the coffee was an extra charge. This approach felt a bit disingenuous, and it's the first time I've encountered such a thing. I was a bit unhappy and immediately asked the server why they didn't inform us upfront when we were at the entrance. In our usual way of thinking, coffee with breakfast is perfectly normal. Seeing our displeasure, and noticing the $10 CAD tip we left on the table, the server beamed and said she would take care of the coffee bill, implying it wouldn't be charged. However, three days later, it still appeared on the bill at check-out. Although it was only $4 CAD, that's not the point. I complained about it at the front desk, and they also agreed that such a practice was inappropriate and offered to re-print the bill and refund me. I didn't want the hassle and declined. I'm only mentioning this in hopes that they won't resort to what frankly feels like a deceptive tactic in the future. Perhaps it was an individual server's action, but it ultimately affects the Hilton group's image. Because of this, I'd also like to offer a friendly tip to future guests."

"The room was cute and has a historic rustic look. Although charming, it lacked some basic amenities such as mini refrigerator and the tv was in an entertainment armoire and the doors would open but the latches did not allow it to stay open. It would swing close on its own so we couldn’t watch tv. The breakfast was $22 each with amazing comfortable seating and just okay with 4 choices: avocado toast, egg plate, French toast, or oatmeal. There is ihop across street more food for buck. Parking is 40 a day but there is parking around between 10-20 a day. The location is good with a lot of local favorites around and everything walking distance. There is an outside leisure good for social with music and lounge. Not able to see the falls from hotel but you can hear it from afar. There is a nice scenic walking trail to the falls. Front desk clerks were kind and helpful. Hall looked gloomy in my area room 309 and the shower pipes made loud knocking noise after a shower. Good for a one day stay just needs some small adjustments- not updates."

Kirkdale Crescent Luxury Villa Gusthouse nestled in the perstigious Banbury- Don Mills neighborhood of Toronto .Tree- lined quiet residential area with a perceful living environment. It is about a 10 minutes walk to Edwards Gardens.Close to parks ,shopping malls and restaurants. Downtown Toronto is around 20 minutes by car .

"This was a very last-minute decision. We chose a villa on Trip.com that was very close to the Toronto Botanical Garden (Edwards Park). Even though we arrived close to midnight, the owners were still waiting for us. The villa was spacious and bright, and the husband showed us several suites to choose from, each looking extremely comfortable. The one we stayed in even had a complimentary electric massage chair. Waking up early the next morning, the streets outside the window were remarkably peaceful; the villa was located in a very elegant area. Although breakfast wasn't included, the wife had prepared a sumptuous meal of milk, fruit, and other refreshments. The kitchen was fully equipped, so cooking was no problem. My wife and I enjoyed chatting and drinking tea with the wife. The Toronto Botanical Garden, less than a 10-minute walk away, was the main reason we chose this villa, and we found it to be one of the best value-for-money Airbnbs we've ever stayed in, and highly recommended."

"PROS: New, clean, secluded, decent enough gym, quiet, boring, no chemical cleaner scents other than the towels and sheets that will stay on your skin 100%... I always bring my own due to this. Free floride water lol...🙄 Don't drink it. CONS: The heavy room doors slam insanely hard, fast and would chop fingers off, blow out eardrums and shake the walls. I woke up every door slam, hard to not. Mind blowing to spend money building a Hotel and not consider to have quality safe quiet doors. SOLUTION! I had to use some ”white noise” to drown out the crazy door slams. ****** is a lifeless end of the line in purgatory vibe, but I'm not into that activity and wasn't there for that. If you want a clean, new, mostly quiet nice hotel, this is a good choice if you find a good deal. Service I never ordered food but the complementary tea and coffee are ok if stocked, NO Milk Alternatives and boring list of food to over pay for."

"Went to front desk to tell them  air conditioner and fridge was not working. Asked him to send someone in an hour. Didn’t write our room number down. No one came. Sent  someone right after my second complaint. Maintenance came twice didn’t fix air conditioner or mini fridge. Spoke to someone  on the floor about housekeeping just to make the beds only and no need the rest(vacuum/bathroom/empty trash). Beds were not made. What a disappointment in the hotel."

My husband and I stayed here from September 9 to 10 last for our 20th wedding anniversary. We had a medical appointment down the road so it was a convenient location. Here are some of our observations where they could do better. 1. l use a cane with my disability, and there was no luggage trolly in the lobby when we arrived. I had to haul two heavy bags on one arm while using my cane with the other hand. 2. I checked to see that there was body wash for our evening and morning showers and the bottle was completely empty. The housekeeping staff hadn't refilled and we had to find someone to put a new bottle into the shower. It's a good thing I checked and didn't get a rude awakening in the morning. 3. The picture in the room looked as though something was thrown at it and went down the glass. There were two streaks and it was very disgusting. Obviously, the cleaning had not been done properly in the room. 4. Nowhere on the website was there mention of a continental breakfast so we were quite surprised that there wouldn't be your typical eggs, bacon, sausage. Etc. It was very disappointing. We only found out because we got on the elevator, and there was an ad taped to the inside of the elevator. At the time of booking, all it said was free breakfast included. 5. The shower-head sprayed all over the ceiling when it was turned on, so we had to put a face cloth over it to contain the spray 6. The microwave glass tray did not rotate so when you put something in there, it didn't heat it up evenly. It actually burned the item. 7. Bathroom light fixtures were covered with caked on dust. I wrote my name in one of them. It's Obvious that the housekeeping staff does not pay attention to cleaning - only does minimum.

We had a great stay at Holiday Inn Downtown Toronto! The hotel is conveniently located near the heart of downtown, making it easy to explore nearby restaurants, shops, and attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. The only small downside was the hotel parking, which was a little pricey at $40 per day. However, there are plenty of cheaper parking options nearby, so it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely stay here again!

The shared shower room is *too* shared, meaning there's nowhere to put your personal toiletries. A simple breakfast is provided in the morning, which is nice. I liked that the beds have curtains. It's great that shower towels are provided for free. There's a 24-hour convenience store right out front. However, there are homeless people around 24/7 next to it... It's unnerving when they all stare at me at once... I felt scared both day and night. Some homeless individuals stand by the convenience store door, holding it open, then demand money after opening it for you. I know how to open a door myself, and I never asked them to open it for me... I was sharing a room with someone from a country known for poor hygiene, and they had a strong, unpleasant body odor. It was truly agonizing. My request to switch rooms was not processed, apparently because there were no other rooms available.

This was our first time staying at Americana and we are very pleased with the experience. We drove 3 hours from northern Ontario and it was worth it! We went with another family for New Year's Eve and our children had such a wonderful time. We ordered room service, went to the waterpark several times, played in the arcade and our kids had so much fun. We are planning to come back next year!

Came to Toronto for a conference and booked this apartment a few days in advance. It wasn't cheap and didn't include breakfast, but I chose it for its proximity. I didn't have high expectations, but after checking in, I felt it was excellent value for money. It's on the 44th floor, the highest level with a balcony, and the sky is directly overhead – the view is perfect! I just felt the safety could be a bit better, as it's completely open.

The hotel’s location is excellent — very convenient for traveling to and from the airport. The property also provides a shuttle bus service between the airport and the hotel, which makes transportation easy and straightforward. The shuttle operates every 30 minutes, which is quite manageable, though it can mean a short wait at times. The gym and pool look great as well, perfect if you want to get some exercise or relax during your stay.
