When I booked this hotel, it was advertised as a four-star property on the screen. However, upon closer inspection and after checking in, I realized it's actually a three-star hotel, and the price should not have been so high. I believe your hotel policy might be rating hotels without reviewing their official tourism ministry certifications. There's a big mistake here that needs to be corrected. The star rating on your platform should match the official hotel star rating. You are misleading people into thinking they are booking a four-star hotel when they end up staying in a three-star one. This causes embarrassment and wasted money and time for guests. Star ratings are important; whether a hotel is three or four stars matters to me and to the hotel itself. When I make a purchase, especially on your site, I specifically look at the star rating and reviews. Also, the room I got was tiny, like a small box.

I stayed at this airport hotel near Sabiha Gökçen for an expensive pric. While the location is convenient and the room was generally clean, there were several operational issues that should be addressed. Upon check-in, the shower pipe in my room was faulty. The staff promptly arranged for a technician, which I appreciate. However, this indicates that rooms may not be thoroughly checked before guest arrival. A simple pre-check process could prevent such inconvenience. There were also no facial tissues provided in either the room or bathroom. This is a very basic amenity that most travelers expect, particularly at this price level. In addition, the hotel does not offer a coin laundry facility. For an airport hotel that likely serves transit guests, this would be a highly practical addition. The staff were responsive when contacted, and I appreciated the availability of slippers in the room. However, improving basic quality control and ensuring essential amenities are consistently provided would significantly enhance the guest experience. I hope this feedback is helpful for future improvements.

It’s a good hotel for business travellers. There is a Starbucks just downstairs. The staff all speak good English. Its 2 minutes walk from the metro station is a legend, as traffic is pretty bad in Istanbul. The room is warm, modern and clean.

The hotel isn't large, but it's very cozy. Breakfasts are standard, not a buffet, but there's enough for a light meal. The location is excellent, with major attractions within walking distance and public transport close by. We mistakenly booked a room without a window; it was indeed small, and in the morning, you couldn't tell what the weather was like outside because there was no window! It takes some getting used to. However, the rooms are clean, and housekeeping and towel changes are daily. If all you need from a hotel is a clean bed to sleep in, breakfast, and hot water for a shower, then this place is perfect. In any case, the hotel won't spoil your impression of Istanbul itself.

I had an overnight layover on my way back home, so I decided to stay at a hotel near the airport. It's about a 30-minute bus ride from the airport, but I ended up waiting for the bus at the airport for 35 minutes. The fare was 84 Lira. The hotel seems to be in a small town, right on the main road, with not many dining options nearby. There's a large mosque not too far away, and I also spotted A101 and BIM stores nearby. The hotel itself is quite clean, probably opened not long ago. However, the trash can in the bathroom was already broken, but other facilities were fine. Breakfast was a set menu, simple but filling. For the price, it really offers great value for money.

The hotel is located in the old city, with metro and light rail nearby. Although the surrounding area is noisy, the hotel itself is of good quality. There are 2-3 small supermarkets and many family restaurants close by, and the prices are very affordable (don't eat in tourist areas, it's too expensive!). The hotel service is excellent, all the handsome guys at the front desk are very enthusiastic! The hotel breakfast is very rich, and during the day, there's free black tea, lemonade, and small cookies available. The only thing about the room is that the bed is a bit soft, but all other facilities are great, with free bottled water, a kettle, and good Wi-Fi!

We had an excellent experience with this hotel from beginning to end. The transfer service was absolutely outstanding. They sent a beautiful luxury limousine for the airport pickup, and the driver was extremely professional, respectful, and kind. Communication and guest support were excellent at every stage, and the staff cooperated with us very professionally. One of the best points was the flexibility and convenience of payment for both the hotel and transfer service directly at the property, which made everything much easier for us. The hotel itself was very clean, elegant, and comfortable. The rooms were spacious, stylish, and perfectly maintained. We were honestly very impressed with the cleanliness and overall quality of the hotel. The food was also excellent, fresh, and delicious. In addition, the airport drop-off service was perfectly organized and arrived exactly at the scheduled time without any delay. Overall, everything was perfect. Professional service, excellent support, beautiful rooms, outstanding transportation service, and a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A surprise package with an adventure factor! The room itself was clean and visually appealing – a good start. However, things got 'creative' afterwards: I had booked a 'courtyard view,' but upon arrival, I was told I'd reserved a room without a window. They generously offered me a 'great, free upgrade,' accompanied by an explicit request to highlight this positively in my review. This adventurous upgrade, however, came with a complete power and Wi-Fi outage. My phone died, and planning my route for the next day became impossible. Since elevators, as we know, have a fondness for electricity, I had the athletic opportunity to exit the hotel on foot once the emergency lighting in the stairwell kicked in. The minimalism continued with the culinary offerings: The advertised breakfast turned out to be a solitary chai tea bag and a paper cup for preparation in the room. Solid food – contrary to the hotel description – was nowhere to be found. If you enjoy guessing what's coming next in the dark, this is the perfect place for you. Personally, when booking, I prefer a certain level of predictability.

Although the rooms are on the smaller side, the atmosphere is really lovely. All of the staff are extremely helpful — especially Uğur, Eren, Sadullah, and the rest of the hotel team, who are all very friendly and welcoming. The location is excellent, with easy access to all parts of Istanbul. Taksim Square is about a 20-minute walk, and you can also reach it easily by metro. In addition, the metro provides direct access to both Sabiha Gökçen Airport and Atatürk Airport, which is very convenient. Overall, it was a wonderful experience — truly a great place to stay. I would definitely choose to stay at the same hotel again on my next visit.

XXiaowen31Pros: 1. The breakfast offers a mix of traditional Turkish breakfast and Western options, with a great variety of cheeses and plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. 2. Although the room is small, it's very tidy and clean. It gets cleaned daily, and the bed sheets are changed every day. 3. The location is excellent. It's within walking distance of Yedikule Fortress and Marble Tower, and only an 8-minute walk to the sea. 4. The surrounding area is a residential neighborhood with schools, making it very quiet. 5. The hotel's Wi-Fi is super fast and never lags. Areas for improvement: 1. It would be great if there was an airport shuttle service.

GGuest UserWe had a fantastic three-day stay at this hotel in December with my parents. The location is excellent: within walking distance of the main attractions, and although it’s situated near the Grand Bazaar, it’s surprisingly quiet. The hotel is very clean, and we were kindly upgraded to a Triple Deluxe room after the air conditioner in our original room wasn’t strong enough. The upgraded room was spacious, bright, and spotless. We chose to have dinner at the hotel restaurant every evening because the food quality was outstanding, and Ozgur took wonderful care of us throughout our stay. Having access to the spa included in the price was an amazing bonus. Our daily routine was perfect — sightseeing until around 8–8:30 pm, relaxing at the spa until 10 pm, and then enjoying dinner at the restaurant with a breathtaking Bosphorus view until midnight. It was incredibly relaxing. The staff were all exceptionally friendly, breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant view is truly stunning. We especially appreciated that on our first night, when we arrived at the restaurant close to midnight, we were still able to order a full meal without any issue. Overall, a truly memorable and relaxing stay — we would happily return and have already recommended the hotel to friends

AAkif. My first night was a disaster because my room's power supply kept cutting off and they took almost 3 to 4 hours to fix it, due to that I couldn't sleep the whole night and my morning plans got wasted too. I asked the hotel manager Mr.Arda to give me an extra night, (he refused), airport transfer on my checkout date , (he refused) , room upgrade, (he refused) , Then Mr Arda promised us a complimentary dinner at the rooftop restaurant and that was amazing .My initial plan was to stay 3 nights but then I extended it for 2 more nights because of 1 man Mr.Karem at the reception , the nicest guy of the hotel , Mr.Karem and Mr.Arda helped us alot and supported us in every aspect, but sorry to say all the other staff members there had just 1 answer. im sorry we cannot help you we cannot help you , I'll definitely visit again, Thanks to Mr.Arda and Mr.Karem ❤️ and lastly thanks to Mr.Servet who told us about the free shuttle service provided by the hotel which takes us to Taksim . Thank you, Double Tree Regards Akif

AA.Twiceit was fantastic weekend. We came for concert, but found this district very cute: a lot of specialty caffès, local cousine, friendly people. Waiter helped us to schedule our last day – we left our bag on reception and went for lovely walk before went to the airport. Place is nice, restaurant on 5th floor where we had a good breakfast, also has a nice view. Will be back ;)

5550kkThe hotel is extremely clean compared to other 5 star hotels in Turkey. The staff at reception. Together with Staff in the restaurant , concierge and the bell boy were all extremely helpful and polite. Always ready to help. The restaurant dinner and breakfast was absolutely fantastic 👌. The hotel is very well located. It is a 15 minutes walk to Hagia Sofia, Bascillica Cistern, Blue Mosque. 7 mins walk to Grand Bazaar . The interior of the hotel looks magnificent with the old style charm but all newly renovated. I would highly recommended this hotel to stay in Istanbul. 😀😃😄

NNztommyI met the kindest and nicest host while staying in Istanbul. They even upgraded my room and made my check-in time 2 hours earlier, and they welcomed me warmly. This was the first time I felt kindness among the Turkish people I met for 4 days. The room was also nice. The water pressure was strong! The room was really spacious.

The staff were so helpful and friendly and the hotel is located in walking distance to a beautiful palace and art gallery, as well as the tram which gives easy access to the attractions of the city. GGuest UserThe hotel is in a dilapidated, sketchy neighbourhood. As a female solo traveller, it feels very scary to travel alone back to the hotel at night, as you will come across groups of men hanging along the street. It’s also ridiculously far from major train stations (15-20 minutes depending on your walking speed) and a lot of uphill climbing, which is a big minus for people who would stay more than 3 nights with more luggage / elderly. My local friend said with this price I could’ve booked a hotel at a more convenient location. The room is clean and has a functional layout. The sound insulation is poor, the first two nights I could hear the neighbour laughing, they were loud but still I had to wear earplugs to sleep. Also traffic noise continued even during late night. The hot water in shower is not very consistent, I had two days of perfectly hot water, and two days of lukewarm water. I was shivering when I went out of the shower. The water tap of the sink is very hard to switch on/off. The sink is big but not much space for putting necessities, which is a bit of an impractical design. As I was travelling alone, they only gave me one room card, which could be inconvenient in some way because if I would like to use the fridge in the room, it would turn off after I left the room. Even though I didn’t use the fridge, it is something to be noticed. I had experience staying in other hotels alone, they always give two cards. While it’s more energy saving this way, it’s inconvenient. The breakfast was alright, just like all other 3/4-star hotel breakfast, there is a variety of food. Staff checked the buffet area quite frequently, and the dining area is comfortable with a lot of light. It also has Turkish tea, which is great. One key event: the door lock was not functioning. After I left the room the second day, I checked if the door is being locked but it didn’t. I was terrified to know that the door lock wasn’t functioning, as I could go inside without a card. I immediately asked the front desk to fix it, and turned out the door lock was just out of battery. However, if I didn’t check the door, my room could’ve been easily broken in. Another thing is after this, I couldn’t find my earrings which were on the table. The coincidence made me think it was a stealing event. While eventually they found them after I checked out and they returned them to me, I could not help but felt frustrated in the meantime as my trust for the hotel was damaged. Despite that might have been just a misunderstanding, the hotel staff, especially Dilan, was very helpful and proactive in handling the event, and she also promised to compensate me, even though they saw no other people entering my room in the surveillance camera and she claimed that no stealing event has happened. Overall, despite all that has happened, I think the hotel is good and quite affordable for a short stay, but there might as well be other better options. l
