There's a common room upstairs where you can eat. They also offer a simple breakfast in the morning with coffee, juice, toast, and dinner rolls. The breakfast was really good, especially the dinner rolls. When toasted, the butter would ooze out – absolutely delicious! The famous Miyahara Eye Clinic is just a short walk away. Next time, if I need to, I'll ask them to help me get a lower bunk.

Easy to check in and check out, well placed in Hualien (close to the train station, not so far from the beach and some yummy restaurants around) ... Those things are already nice. But the architecture of this hostel is also pretty neat! The rooms are rather beautiful imo and I was surprised to see the bathroom in the room, it made me happy (compared to public one in some other places, I prefer to have the bathroom in the room, only shared with the girls). I liked that. The sink out of the bathroom but still in the room is also very well placed so you can wash your face or hands even if someone is in the bathroom. Breakfast is rather simple but enough to start the day. Highly recommended ! 😊

The stay was excellent, with a high overall operational standard. The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped with amenities, and the bed was comfortable. The soundproofing was also good. The front desk staff were professional and courteous, responding quickly to requests. The location is convenient, a big plus for both transportation and nearby amenities. The self-service breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, was refilled quickly, and maintained good overall quality. The dining area was clean and comfortable, with good flow, which significantly enhanced the overall experience.

Pros:
The hotel is incredibly close to Kaohsiung Station, just a four or five-minute walk away. This is super convenient for anyone traveling without a car and relying primarily on public transport.
The staff were friendly and helpful, always enthusiastic to assist with any issues. Their service definitely enhanced the overall experience.
Cons:
The soundproofing is really poor. You can hear almost everything happening on the entire floor, whether it's from nearby rooms or further down the hall. It seemed like the guests at this hotel were quite late-nighters; people were still moving around, showering, and using the restroom well past midnight. This would be a problem for light sleepers.
Also, there are quite a few rooms on each floor, but only one elevator. During peak hours, you might have to wait a little while.
Overall Impression:
Overall, my rating is still on the positive side. If I'm ever in Kaohsiung alone again and prioritize convenient transportation, I would definitely consider staying here again.
Hotel brief:
The ground floor has the reception area and a few sofas for lounging; the second floor houses the restaurant and hot spring area; and all floors from the third upwards are guest rooms, with bathroom facilities on each floor.

Super near to train station but must know how to walk. Do not follow Google map as it will bring you the long route. Assessible to night market, lalaport mall, weekend flea market at train station. The neighbourhood have alot of foreigners. Breakfast is good but a little oily and salty.

Right across from Taipei 101, the location is excellent. You can hop on the subway as soon as you step out. As for the facilities, they're pretty standard.
Stayed on December 6th. The decor was beautiful and the bathtub was huge. The water temperature was also consistent, not fluctuating between hot and cold. My kids had a great time playing in the spacious tub. Breakfast was delicious and well-prepared. The only minor issue was some dust on the curtains!

The breakfast offers a good variety of food, but I suggest adding yogurt to make the meal even more comprehensive. Also, the parking lot should have more spaces to ensure that guests with reservations are guaranteed a spot, which would eliminate the hassle of finding parking. The hotel is very close to Hualien Train Station and the transfer station, making public transportation very convenient.
The location was perfect, close to the bus stop.
The room was small, but there was a water server in the hallway, free powdered coffee and tea (both sweet), and some snacks, which was appreciated. There was no refrigerator in the room, but there was a shared refrigerator so we were able to store fruit and yogurt. The staff were also kind. I was glad to be able to stay in a private room for this price.
However, there was only one bath towel provided, so I think it would have been better if there was a face towel.

XXilinnnnGreat location, like 30m walk to one of the exit of Taipei main station (exit Y13). Simple buffet breakfast with dimsum and toast. I booked a 4 bed dorm, one bathroom is attached in the dorm room. Comfortable bed, feel firm and new.
Overall quite nice stay for a budget hostel with this value and location, not much to complain.
AAnonymous UserThe room is very spacious! I was a bit bummed to not see at least one hanger in the locker, though. It's common to have at least one when the locker has the possibility to. Otherwise, remove it. As I was on the 6th floor, I was also a bit uncomfortable about leaving my room and having to walk past the reception to go to the bathroom area. But I understand that hostels around Taipei Main Station have to deal with the buildings' architecture. For the price, the location and the length of my stay, it wasn't entirely problematic.
MM TravelerLocation - Near MRT, Bus Station, Night Market and convenient store like Family Mart. Almost near everything you needed.
Cleanliness - It's clean, every morning, towels were changed, looking forward for beddings to be arranged too.
Service - Good Service. Easy to request additional pillow, umbrella etc.
Facilities are good too. Have Hot & Cold Shower, Have Blower, Have heater and hangers too.
SSiva Rama 256Check in takes only 5 minutes and check out much more faster with 10 seconds with a self check out machine that will suck in your room card.
Check in gets faster with your reply to the property telling them what type of room you have booked and what time you'll arrive. With booming businesses and too many bookings, the staff might get entangled in mess, so partially you reply is helping them to get grounded and avoid mistakes.
The property is clean, neat, nice and next to easy transport and family mart and 7e.
GGuest UserThe room is clean and spacious, facilities are great, and the staff are super friendly.
The hotel is a bit of a walk from the train station though.
Since it’s converted from an old commercial building, you have to climb about 10 steps through the mall to get up to the hotel, not the most convenient if you’ve got big luggage. Also, at night some of the mall doors get locked, so you might need to ask security how to get in, which is a bit of a hassle.
Overall, it’s more suitable for business travelers than leisure ones.

VVenus5262My boyfriend and I stayed here for the first time. The room was quite spacious and came with a bathtub. Unfortunately, the internet connection for the TV was a bit spotty. On the positive side, the pillows were nice and soft, and the soundproofing was good.
SShuxiaThe location is fantastic, right behind Shin Kong Mitsukoshi. The elevators and front desk area look a bit dated, but the staff were decent. They put a large bed in the room, but because the room was small and the duvet wasn't warm enough, I got cold in the middle of the night and had to turn off the air conditioning. The kettle had dust and limescale marks. However, the bathroom was really clean, and the toilet was modern. I was genuinely surprised and impressed that the shower had two types of showerheads. It's a very good budget hotel. I'd definitely consider staying here again in the future.

GGuest UserThis is a very convenient location with plenty of food and entertainment options nearby. The young men and women at the front desk were incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, thoughtful, and attentive. They helped us plan our itinerary and transportation for our trip to Hualien Yilan, and also shared recommendations for delicious food and fun activities there. The room was also quite neat and clean, overall everything was excellent. Definitely recommend!
NNiko KinzazuThe room was quite spacious; mine had a sauna. There was a partial view of Taipei 101 — only a small part of it, as the main view was of the building across the street, but that was fine for me. The hotel feels a bit dated, but it’s excellent value for money. The sauna heats up quickly and was great for warming up during the cold days in Taipei. The water pressure was good, and the bathroom was spacious. The bed was soft and clean. The TV was old and I wasn’t able to connect to it. There was no heating in the room, so it was quite cold, but the staff provided us with an extra blanket. Bottled water was provided in the room. The breakfasts were very good and filling. The location is also excellent — close to cafes and a metro station.
