We enjoyed this second stay with Holliwood Homes even more, we were given a very spacious flat for a similar price than the first smaller flat. It was exceptionally clean and well presented, with all the accessories we needed. Thank you for providing such good value for money!

Fantastic stay! The location was superb, right on the edge of the beach with absolutely stunning sunset views. The facilities were great and very clean. Having a bath was a real bonus, as we’d only had showers in all the other accommodation on our trip so far. Would definitely recommend this place.

1. The bed is not comfy.
2. Very basic furniture and utensils.
3. Passed whole week without TV as no one gave us TV remote. The stove was given connection after repeated email next day.
4. Check in and checkout was smooth. Owner was very prompt in replying email from remote location.

The hotel is self-service throughout the stay, the kitchen is integrated with a stove, there are supporting cookware and tableware, dishwasher, washing dryer, all very well used, each floor has an observation deck to sit, the view is very good. There is a subway station 500 meters walk, which is very convenient to travel. About 800 meters from Little Tokyo Street, many restaurants and small shops, there are Japanese supermarkets to buy ingredients suitable for Chinese people. In short, the overall experience is very good, a travel or family visit is very suitable.

This hotel is under new management so we couldn't see many reviews before booking but it was a great experience! the self check-in was a breeze (we received all the info in an email) and our room was nice and clean. The room is cozy but normal size for SF and if we needed a little more space we just went down to the lobby lounge area. There was wifi in the room and in the lobby area. The kitchen was super convenient to make a quick breakfast. We didn't use the washer/dryers but if we stayed longer we probably would have. We could walk to Union Square and there is also a Trader Joe's a couple blocks away. It was a perfect place to stay for a couple of nights!

EesorIt was very late when I arrived, and the full self-service check-in was still a bit unaccustomed, especially we still needed to park by car. However, it is convenient to check in with the email guide, it is recommended to check in in advance. Outside the window of the room is Hollywood Mountain, the location is very good, the facilities are also very good, recommended

GGuest UserI had to cancel and the hotel did not accept any attempt to negotiate a cancellation fee. I was fully charged even though I did notify this with anticipation. On the other hand, they can and will cancel your reservation without even notifying you in advance. I know this because they did that to me before. Sadly, my experience was not positive.

GGuest UserThe location is very good and the security is very guaranteed. But it is not a traditional hotel. It is a hotel with several houses in an apartment, so it is very difficult to find. And there is no physical front desk, and the apartment administrator will get off work very early. English listening is not enough, even check-in will encounter obstacles. Because we arrived late, after the check-in procedure, it took a lot of time to study how to enter the door from here. Finally, I found this door to go in. It was to the lobby on the first floor of the apartment. I couldn't get to the room at all... There was no explanation for the relevant situation when booking, and the order was marked as check-in at the front desk. We were a bit busy with this and called the hotel on duty and took more than an hour to get into the room

EEu.1. Honestly, it's perfect for a guy, as the beds aren't big and the bathroom doesn't have much space for women's supplies (for maintenance, cleaning, etc.). The environment isn't very safe, and most of my roommates are guys (some of them are quite strange and creepy!).
Some nights and early mornings, I see people who look like homeless people lining up at the front door!
Also, the room rates are relatively low for Americans, which makes it more likely to attract people of lower quality (we even had the police break into our house to arrest someone during our stay).
2. The soundproofing is extremely poor. Some roommates get up at 5 a.m. and use the kitchen quite loudly, while others don't go to bed until 3 a.m. and have doors slam loudly (even with earplugs). I can only say that most guys don't pay attention to detail. Since there are three floors, some roommates check out early, and the banging of their luggage from the third floor to the first floor... Yeah, it definitely wakes them up. On the other side of the wall was the ”neighboring building,” where I could hear luggage being stored, children crying, kicking things, and running around in the middle of the night. I could hear everything. It was a riot all night, and I didn't sleep at all. Although the landlord refunded one night and dealt with the situation, she wouldn't let me leave for several more nights. Later, someone else moved in next door, and the problem was exactly the same (luggage was thrown onto the wooden floor early in the morning, making such a loud noise that it could wake anyone up. I think we were the only ones who were careful with it). Furthermore, we could hear the man's voice clearly.
3. One thing I can't emphasize enough: if I had known the landlord was a ***, I wouldn't have moved in! I already knew their logic and values were so different. They were always friendly at first, but when you had to deal with repeated problems, they would become impatient (this includes the customer service manager they hired; the culture of interaction is the same). Their logic in communication was truly flawed! In short, they were incredibly self-righteous and believed they were right.
I couldn't sleep well for five consecutive nights, and I had to endure this kind of irritation. (For example, the towels they were supposed to prepare weren't, and they kept delaying it, with no apology!) There are so many other things I won't go into because the whole story would be too long.
4- Some of their so-called advanced technology is actually quite stupid, as it's all automatic and completely uncontrollable, which is incredibly inconvenient at times!
