The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore (Staycation Approved)

Location abit far. But it is great. Room are sparkling clean with excellent services. Facilities are great except some felt abit outdated.

Customer service was very satisfactory...appreciate was given a late checkout and also was given teddy plush gift.. =]

Our stay was overall quite pleasant as we got a free upgrade to the bay view room. Soon after, we discovered a bed bug on the bed and was switched to a new room at a higher tier(?) almost immediately. I was pleased by the staff's efficient response. There is no doubt their standard of service is very high. I am still perplexed at the presence of the bed bug though. Perhaps it is time they call in pest control as the situation could be way worse if the bed bug proceeds to bite their guests. I would visit again as I loved the view and interior decorations. Oh, and we had $200 dining credits as well, and I enjoyed the best lamb chop I have ever tasted in Singapore, with their in-room dining service.

Check in put a real dampener to our couple and 30th anniversary get away. The check in time was 3pm and to be safe we arrived at 4pm. Soon after completing all the documentation for checking in, we were left hanging and waiting for more than an Hour. We were not told anything. The male Indian staff that attended to us was friendly but disappeared after a while. The new female staff did not really know the situation and told us that our room was still not ready at 5.15pm. We were told that the manager was aware and in another 20 minutes, they would have our room ready. No welcome drinks were offered whilst we sat there being paraded to the other hotel staff and guest. The manager did not come personally to explain anything to us. We had to approach the front office staff to enquire about the long delay. We finally got the keys to our room at 5.30pm. At these prices for this higher class hotel, we would have at least expected better treatment and service. This is something I would expect at a budget hotel. Sad that it happened at the start of the much awaited 2 night get away.

Wonderful stay with my wife and son, got upgrade to Bay View room, lovely view of the bay and MBS. Service was exceptional, thank you Fullerton Bay Hotel team.
