Bugis
The decoration is very old and has some smell. You need to let the smell go in every day; the hygiene is quite clean; the sound of the air conditioner is a window machine, and the sound is relatively loud: the quilt is a layer of cloth, and there is a separate thin blanket; the location is in a pedestrian street, taxi It’s not very convenient. Many drivers don’t know it. There are subways and buses nearby. In general, the traffic is convenient; there are shopping places such as bugis around; the service is good; breakfast is relatively simple, and there is a Yabo Center nearby that is good for eating; Sim Lim Square nearby It is said that the water is deep, so please be cautious when shopping; there are no dental appliances, there are fewer charging ports, and no water is provided.

Orchard Road
I had a great stay at Mercure on Stevens. The two Malaysian gentlemen at the front desk were incredibly helpful during check-in, and they even allowed me to check in early. Although my room, 417, had a slightly strange smell, my overall experience was fantastic. The highlight was the convenient hotel shuttle transfer to Wheelock, the famous Orchard area in Singapore.

Jurong
Great hotel if you’re heading to Universal Studio as it offered a free return shuttle service. It’s still about 30mins drive away. The hotel is pretty minimalistic- very small room, comfortable bed, tv, and has a pool. I liked the ice/water machine instead of bottled water and they provided 2 carafes to fill water/ice with. Staff were great. There were 2 restaurants but I didn’t use them. There were metro/bus station across the street with malls within 10min walk away. There was also a street market near the metro station, not sure if it opened every night. My only gripe- I turned on the Do Not Disturb sign but still got interrupted by Housekeeing. Maybe the hotel could provide the option to have your room service very second day to so.

A very good location, in terms of getting toward the Marina Bay area. Staff were lovely, cleaning service was great. The only downside was the toilet smelt of sewage the entire time we were here, and the shower was very temperamental. As we were out for most of the time, this wasn't a huge issue to our trip, but still, not what we had expected. Again, really good location and lovely room, in comparison to what Singapore has to offer and how awkward and pricey other places can be. Out of the way enough, but with really get MRT links. The MTR station is only a quick 5 minute walk (Buona Vista: See Pictures).

Chinatown
A wonderful and very convenient hotel to stay for anyone. The hotel ambience and room light and view of the busy city, yet the night light was also a delight. Take a walk to see Chinatown, the local Chinese food was delicious & (if U are able, try the durian and chendol) . Jus wanted to talk about the hotel breakfast, it was simple with both western and Chinese, but have to say, included was vege & cauliflower , one of the best ever . Kudos to the hotel. Cheers
