Ruby Hotels Properties in Shenzhen

Pros: The room design is quite good; I liked the wooden decor and the sound system. The location is excellent, within walking distance of Sea World and very convenient to the subway. The service was also good; they offered fruit, etc. The breakfast selection was decent, and the front desk had a stylish, dark design. Cons: 1. It was quite dusty, especially the mirror. 2. The room lock was broken, but maintenance arrived quickly to fix it. 3. The soundproofing is terrible; you can hear every door close on the floor. If you play music, the entire floor can hear it. There's a BBQ restaurant downstairs, and a group of people were singing late at night, which was very noisy. 4. My booking package mentioned complimentary drinks or cocktails, but when I asked the front desk, they said the bar wasn't open, so I didn't receive any. 5. You have to download an app to check in, which I'm not a fan of; I prefer a traditional room key.
