Hotel very clean and very helpful and friendly staff. Feels very countryside hotel despite being in Sheffield city. Its also very quiet for those wanting to study or do some work away from noise

The Rutland Hotel is conveniently located near to the University of Sheffield. Single rooms are not the best however double room are quite nice having a traditional feeling. However both kind of rooms are newly decorated so the rooms and bathrooms are quite nice. The breakfast is good as they prepare made to order eggs, hash browns,mushrooms and tomatos. Overall I like it and will plan to stay again.

The room is so small that I couldn't unfold my suitcase. The bath water was cold, freezing to have a cold. The bed is dirty and wilted weeds were found on the sheets. Don't come to stay.

There are shampoo products, bath towels, towels and floor towels, drinking cups and kettles, which are rare. I didn't know about the above, so I brought them all by myself. There are no slippers, hair dryers and conversion plugs, so you have to bring them yourself. Then there is breakfast, which is really rich. Because I stayed for 20 days, I had enough. The room is very big, with air conditioning and bathroom, but the window on the first floor cannot be opened. It is fine after the lights are turned on. In short, I like this place very much. It is also close to Chinatown for eating and shopping.
