The second time as this location. Firstly, love the Mercure hotel lines: the rooms are always spacious, lots of space to freely open up your suitcase. The bathroom is clean and has a bidet. This hotel’s location is not too far from the city. Good food places around to order from. They have 3 Robots that brings your food for you. And the staff are very lovely and welcoming!

Great hotel close to jiahui hospital and also the train station. Very convenient. Great service from reception particularly 杨晓凯。Would stay again!

The hotel was able to facilitate a smooth and efficient check-in and assisted us with a late check-out. The room was spacious and clean with all the necessities needed for a quick stay. House keeping was done daily and provided clean towels and toiletry kits as needed. The room type that was booked for this also included the use of the mini-bar at no extra cost. I was also able to utilise the fitness centre and felt that the setting was well-maintained. A special thanks to the staff that helped to check me in!

Traffic jam during peak hours outside the hotel main road. Carpark entrance Barrier cannot be open for car to enter.

The location is really good, you have some restaurants, coffee shops and stores on the nearby The staff in the front desk are friendly and helpful The bed and pillows are very comfortable and clean Breakfast is good but no too western style; you can enjoy some eggs (hard boiled or fried), toast and tea… the cappuccino is not good

Overall is good, hotel is nice, room is clean except taxi can't drive into hotel entrance as it's inside a carpark which belongs to others

Great staff, clean and convenient location. Only down side is the. Breakfast wasn’t really that good. I wouldn’t recommend paying for the breakfast.

The hotel was very nicely located for where I needed to be (close to the international hospital), the service was friendly and everything went well.

Good hotel for the value you pay in SH, location for us was perfect, especially close to Laowai street.

Service was grate, receptionist helped us with free upgrade. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Hotel is not convenient to reach by metro, but 15 mins drive away from hongqiao station

I initially booked this hotel because of the close proximity to a hospital I needed to be at for an early appointment, and I was open minded about what I was going to get given the economy price. The check in process was ok. The staff could only speak a little English but I was able to check in fairly smoothly. No dinner or room service available, which was disappointing. But, the front reception staff were able to help me with ordering on a food app, so they were helpful. A robot delivered the food to my door. The room itself was an 'executive' room, but really it's just a basic room that is slightly larger in size compared to a standard room. The room itself was clean and the bed was soft and comfortable.There were enough towels and slippers for use. There were some drinks and biscuits in the minibar that were free of charge to consume. A nice touch if you wanted it. Tea and coffee facilities were available, but no milk if you wanted this.There was bottled water as well. Rooms at the hotel are available by the hour (!) and the walls were so thin, I unfortunately heard pretty much what was going on each hour. Perhaps if the hotel offers this service, they could only dedicate one area of the hotel for this? I was unable to sleep, as the cleaners cleaned right up until midnight and they talked loudly from one end of the corridor to another, not to mention the rattling of the cleaning trolleys. I was not impressed. Breakfast was cold. The breakfast sausages were cold. The rice was cold. The eggs were cold. Not a good start to the day. If you can overcome these objections, then the hotel is a good budget stay. I won't stay here again for my next scheduled hospital visit. I'll pay the extra and at least have the comfort of knowing there's dinner and room service available if I want it.
