5 Star Hotels in Sanya

All staf can not speak english. I didn't get any free gift as mention when i am book this hotel for 5 night. Breakfast so boring because every day you get the same breaksfast, and the breakfast just so so. Can not compare with Crowne Plaza hotel in the other country, very disappointed. Just want to said Crowne Plaza at Sanya city centre lower standards than crowne plaza in other countries.

We arrived at 11 am and could enter our rooms straight away. The reception staff was very helpful and we communicated well with the held of a translation app. The location is excellent, right across the beach. Despite being located on the main beach road, it was quiet at night. Perfect. Nice pool, too. We did not have any food a the hotel ,so I can't rate that. There is a supermarket just around the corner and a street with lots of lovely restaurants nearby.

Our trip to Sanya turned out to be absolutely amazing and one of the reasons was this hotel. Everything from check in to check out was perfect. While the staff couldn't speak English, they never hesitated to solve the problem. The front desk person who checked us in, Ricky, was super helpful in explaining everything and answering my countless questions. He was kind enough to give me his WeChat so I could bother him anytime I wanted and he didn't disappoint. When we were tired of beach or just wanted to be lazy, the pool served a great place to go. And not to mention gym and games that kept us occupied in the non-beach time. The only thing I wish that was missing in the room was the lack of sunlight. Our clothes couldn't dry. But we carried extra set of swim wear so it wasn't a big deal. The hotel's location, breakfast, concierge's tips and overall service, everything was top notch and we had a wonderful time.

I recently traveled solo to Hainan and had a wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. My room was spacious with a large bathtub and offered a stunning view. As a foreigner, navigating without Google Maps can be challenging, but the hotel staff, particularly Perou Zhang, were incredibly helpful. She assisted me with hotel facilities, booked the shuttle for me, and recommended nearby tourist spots. Her excellent English and friendly demeanor made my stay absolutely perfect. I highly recommend this hotel for their outstanding service and hospitality.

Sara was assigned to help us during our 2 night stay. She is efficient and very helpful as she was answering all my questions before and during the trip from transportation to places to visit in sanya, to weather. We booked a family suite for the trip and the room was huge and spacious, with an ocean facing view. I can even see the lights on the tower near phoenix island from the living room. Our stay was comfortable and it really made me feel at ease. The pool was awesome and there was even an arcade in the hotel. There were only two things to improve - food and bed. Buffet breakfast and BBQ dinner, there were a few hits and misses in terms of taste and our bed was a little too hard for our back but hey we can ask for diff types of pillow so plus minus. Overall I will recommend this hotel to relax and chill. Last thing to note for foreigners, if your return flight is at the international airport instead of domestic to other parts of china, don't bother going to cdf. You can't buy anything as there is no collection counter in the international airport. We didn't know and wasted four hours at cdf.

Would I recommend this hotel for seaside trip? First when you look at photos before booking, you suppose it's not very modern, but not too old - when you come, you realize that it's old as your grandfather: lobby and restaurant is open space with no conditioning, all inside looks tired. The territory is fascinating and great: nice pools, lots of trees , grass and flowers. Seaside amenities are very old and don't look that nice as in photos. Although the seaside itself is wonderful. The worst thing is food: it's ok for Chinese but as there is no lunch and supper inclusive packages , you see all people going to and back to nearest shopping centers to buy something. If you are a foreigner, you'll find one guy speaking English and one speaking Russian through an the stay, to everyone else learn to speak with your fingers :) , no entertainment in the evening. For attracting foreign tourists, I would recommend adding halfboard packages, some more international food and English-speaking personnel. At present I am not recommending this hotel for visiting by foreign tourists

Service was fantastic, hotel wasn't for me because I'm a solo traveller and the hotel is more for families. If you are a family definitely stay at this hotel as it is amazing for young children! Food was excellent, location was a little far from the main town of Sanya. Would have liked more beach chair options. The gym was fantastic and staff were very helpful. Fantastic trip all together.

We were guests in this hotel for the third time. We were left with wonderful impressions and that is why we chose it again. And we are delighted again! The hotel is in a wonderful location, Dadonghai Bay. It has its own territory with swimming pools. The breakfast was for every taste. Varied and delicious! On the territory of the hotel there are several restaurants, shops, children's club, etc. The service staff is at an excellent level. My personally thanks to Vanessa! Firstly the concierge at the front desk was easy to contact before arriving at the hotel. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary so I asked them to plan ahead whatever they could and they prepared some cake and a romantic bed setup. The front desk clerk was available at most times during the day if we had any questions or requests. The selected villa room was spacious and very comfortable. Room service did a good job daily and they were very understanding. The hotels facilities are pretty great. All maintained well. The location of the hotel is superb for yalong bay, it’s walking distance from the beach. The breakfasts weren’t bad either, and the breakfast time was up until 12:00 which is amazing. This was a fantastic experience and I’d recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Sanya for leisure.

The building is very impressive, the rooms are good, as is the breakfast. But the garden is very small, so there is noise from the swimming pool everywhere and far too few sun loungers. The aircraft noise is also very annoying. No restaurants nearby.
