Hotel Mercure Paris Centre Gare Montparnasse Reviews

Overall experience was pretty good. Room was spacious and clean. Hotel location was perfect for us to stay a night, and caught a train the day after. Lot of restaurants close by, and a supermarket Monoprix opened 7 days until 11:30pm was a plus. Staff were polite and helpful, speaking both in French and English. The only down side was not enough AC in the room, an electric fan was placed in our room, but we didn’t use it, electric fan had no way to replace AC. Giving the price and proximity to Gare Montparnasse, I would stay there again.

They had a water fountain in the hallway, which was a nice touch. The room was ok, but the bathroom could have been better.

Nice hotel, love the decorations! Location is perfect near Montparnasse train station. Breakfast very good quality, giant screen for some sport games or news.

As we arrived on an early morning flight, we pre-booked 1 night before so that we can check in upon arrival. Check-in was easy and smooth. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was superb. Very near to train station. Vibrant further up the street where all the cafes are located. Overall, nice neighborhood.

all was good, friendly service, except that there was no egg in the breakfast and no clear communication of when is it available, which is a pity as I often get the the room with breakfast included

It was so nice to have water purifiers on every floor! It was close to Montparnasse Station, and when I said the room was cold, they even brought me an auxiliary heater so it was warm!

The room is acceptable, after all, it is Paris. The front desk on the first floor is adjacent to the bar, which I like well Quiet people, maybe a little lively at night.

I was prepared for a small room, but my room was located in the attic with a sloping roof. I would hit my head if I stood up on one side of the bed. It was cold and there was no heating.

Very comfortable. The hotel is a five-minute walk from the train station. Although the room is not big, it is a good place to rest. It is very convenient for guests who need to take the train the next day.

Excellent hotel. Very well located in Montparnasse and close to the metro station. Clean, quiet and with a very neat and varied breakfast.
