I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, albeit a brief one. The service provided was excellent, and the staff at the front desk stood out for their professionalism and warm hospitality. They were accommodating to my needs and demonstrated a high level of training, which made the check-in and check-out process smooth and hassle-free. The air-conditioning in the room was impressive, keeping the space refreshingly cold even during warm weather. However, I was slightly disappointed to find that no bottled water was provided in the room, which I feel is a basic amenity most hotels offer. On a positive note, essentials like a toothbrush and shower cap were available, which I appreciated. That said, there is some room for improvement in terms of the room's condition and amenities. The towels provided were thin and showed signs of wear, which detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, the bathroom were quite compact, with an awkward layout that made moving around less convenient than I would have liked. Despite these minor drawbacks, the excellent service and comfortable air-conditioning were definite highlights of my stay. With some attention to the room's amenities and layout, the experience could be even better.

Good neighborhood location with River side walk. There was 7-11 within a min so I could get some water etc. The Room was a bit small but comfy for one person. I loved it was very quiet at night so that I could have a good sleep. Recently renovated. I will come back for my work trip due to good price and the quality of the accommodation. Overall very good 👍

This is a hotel apartment, the advantages and disadvantages are very obvious. Let me talk about the advantages first. It is very convenient and quiet near Clark Pier. Forkangning and the river are very suitable for walking. There are also many places to eat nearby. The room apartment has many rooms with facilities, such as tableware washing machine dryer, suitable for a family. The disadvantages are also obvious that the hotel is very environmentally friendly, almost no paper, no sheets, the facilities are relatively old, Zhou 2-4-6 someone cleans, if you don't have a car, it is difficult to take a taxi, if it is acceptable, it is still worth staying at the hotel.

This was our third time in Singapore and third time at this hotel over six years, and again our experience was really great, this time we spent 10 nights here. The place offers such a comfortable accommodation, it is so much nicer to enjoy the luxuries of an apartment rather than having the family cramped together in one hotel room. The beds are extremely comfortable, and there is a wide selection of pillows. This time we used the kitchen for simple cooking and the washer dryer several times too. The location is very convenient, we were again able to walk along the river, to China town, to many sights nearby, and for the rest we used busses from Clemenceau Avenue or River Valley Rd, or the underground from Fort Canning. It is easy to get your shopping at the UE mall or 7/11 shops very near, but even nice is to enjoy the variety of meals on offer nearby. If felt like coming home again and we were so happy to recognize many staff members, all of whom are very professional and courteous. They were patient enough and very helpful to help me deal with my daughter being bitten by sandflies at the beach. The breakfast has even much better selection that what we remembered since last time, every day there were numerous warm options and several different cakes as well as the staples of a continental breakfast, and the staff will happily prepare omelettes or what you ask for. This time we also enjoyed the lunch snacks served at the bar, generous portions. Our great memories of Singapore are inevitably bound with this place: compliments go to the management on a successful and professional business and our deepest thanks to the staff for such a great service. We miss you! Greetings from Switzerland :)

I have stayed at Park Avenue Clemenceau several times now. Usually between 2-4 weeks at a time. The room has everything from a well laid out kitchen including a clean induction stovetop, oven, microwave, mini toaster/grill/oven, washing machine/dryer, as well as the things that are often not supplied or require special request such as a very sturdy and portable clothes drying rack that folds away. The hotel I believe has been recently renovated, which is noticeable as the rooms are very clean, neat, and same goes with the cutlery and cooking utensils. Conveniently located in Robertson Quay with lots of restaurants, bars, CS Fresh supermarket, Fort Canning MRT, and the Singapore river all within a very short stroll. The staff are super friendly, and very accommodating. Would like to especially thank Vijaya at reception for her positivity, can-do attitude, and professionalism. I would highly recommend Park Avenue Clemenceau. It has become my number one choice for a place to stay in Singapore.

The Holiday Inn Express Singapore is a modern hotel with comfortable rooms and a convenient location. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hotel is also conveniently located near Orchard Road, one of Singapore's main shopping districts. Overall, the Holiday Inn Express Singapore is a good choice for budget-minded travelers who are looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Singapore.

Positives: The pool was quite big, and the jacuzzi was nice. The location was also quite good as the hotel is a short walk to the Singapore River (the view at night is amazing, and there are a lot of expensive eating options). The breakfast was really yummy 😋 The room was also quite nice, and the television was a bit blurry but had a lot of channels :) Negatives: the room bath area had a nest of insects. The service was also very slow, I had to remind them 3 times to set up the sofa bed. They also accidentally gave a guest my room card, so the guest suddenly entered my room :(

The location is right in the city itself but you need to have transport to take you there as it's quite hidden from the main road. At the reception, the people there are very friendly. When I went to my room, the bed was awesome. I have requested 2 beds and I am so excited that there are 4 pillows given for each bed. The only thing that, my bedroom is right at the end of the building, which also means that its surrounded by windows. Sadly, the view of my windows is all blocked by other apartments. I can practically see them and vice versa. No privacy at all. You have to keep the blinds down for privacy. The breakfast buffet is awesome. Its a combination of Western and Asian food. I would love to be back again but I guess not the corner room.

It is still a bit far from the subway station and bus station, and it takes 15 minutes to walk. However, the hotel is still very close to Clarke Quay and Orchard Road. It takes more than 10 minutes to walk. There is a supermarket downstairs from the hotel, which is very convenient for cooking. But the price is a bit expensive. There is a low-priced supermarket about 10 minutes away, which is much cheaper. We stayed in the room on the second floor. Every morning, the supermarket downstairs was loading and unloading goods, which made it difficult to sleep. The hotel is cleaned twice a week. There is often no one at the front desk, and you have to contact through what.s, which is a bit inconvenient. There is no shower cap and no slippers. The price-performance ratio is quite high. On the way from Fort banning to the hotel, there is a Hainanese chicken rice restaurant, which is highly recommended. We ate there for 2 consecutive days.

The location was excellent, being conveniently near the subway station. However, the service response needs significant improvement. My TV was not working for three days, and despite multiple requests, no one addressed the issue. Additionally, a roommate left takeaway food in the common area for five days, and it remained uncleaned until my checkout. This lack of prompt service detracted from the overall experience.

Stayed here with the family and its probably the worst stay I've had in my many experience staying at different accommodation in over 10 years. I have many complaints I'll probably wont remember to include ...but to start; 1. Location was decent, but quite disappointing. Because it was quite a walk to landmarks they said in their listing were close. Except Chinatown 2. There were broken items in the rooms. Minor but still not a good look. 3. Hot Water didnt work the 1st day, and it was quite hard to keep water temperature constant. (there was a day that we had to set the faucet to max cold, so we could get hot shower pouring). 4. My parents had a problem with their room's AC. It kept turning off after some time, and even when they asked for help, the same problem still persisted. 5. Staff were quite rude and have no sense of responsibility. It felt that they hardly give a care about their customer needs and if you ask or request something from them, they will just try to dismiss you quick in any means they can. 6. their RATES are not worth the quality & service for what you'll pay for. 7. Not a 4 star hotel as they advertise in my opinion, even in a business hotel standard.... They have very minimal amenities, and again service was the worst experience ive had in a long time. Ive stayed in lower rated hotels that're way above them in most aspect. 8. Room was small. Cant complain much here though. 9. Wifi was quite slow & intermittent at times. 10. They didnt clean and change our room one time. 11. Our room landline was disconnected by their staff... Which I dont know the reason why. (Maybe so they could avoid us 😂) 12. Not my experience... but I saw a group of people who had their new years eve celebration at their in house bar/pub, who were not allowed to stay in their lobby when they couldn't find a taxi (i did at least see one of the staff assist them outside to help find a taxi - still, a little humility would be nice. They were old people too.) Im sure there were more reasons why I wouldnt reccomend this hotel. But it was the staff that I was mostly disappointed with (specially the staff who wears shade) ... My other grievance were just mostly triggered by this factor. On a positive note... I like how it was quite close to chinatown. It was a bit of walk but not much to complain about there. There was at least one staff who was very nice to us. So thats a plus. Near hospital just in case of emergency.

This capsule hotel budget-wise is recommendable. The location is great and 5 minutes away from the metro station. I have taken the mixed capsule. I did not expect much because of the price but I stuttered with disappointment when I was there. I availed myself of a stay with free breakfast for 5 days and in these 5 days, never I had tried and seen any food. What I saw are leftovers kept uncleaned. I usually wake up at 5-6 am because I have a conference by 7 am. By that time, no food on the counter. The toilets were furthermore small and crowded. No social distancing or infection control practices. The spaces are cluttered, unkempt, and unmaintained. I have raised the issue to an Agoda representative who told me that I should have the breakfast inclusion. Still, the next day, no breakfast was there. I planned to talk to the reception but most of the time, staff are not present there.

Campbell Inn

Please read - IMPORTANT about Campbell Inn: My 3 tourist friends from overseas have encountered potential scamming of tourists at this Campbell Inn. They have lodged a police report and contact Singapore Tourism Board and CASE in regards to this case. Hope by doing so, it will prevent the owner of Campbell Inn from cheating other tourists and disgracing Singapore as a safe country again. My 3 friends were ignorant of the various Google negative reviews of Campbell Inn and booked two nights with the Inn. However it seems that they have been scammed. It was their first visit to Singapore and she emailed and they tried to call the Inn several times without getting a proper response from the Inn. They wanted to inform the Inn about the late timing that they would be reaching the Inn. However as the Inn was uncontactable for a proper response, the 3 tourists decided to check-in physically at the premises. The Inn was obviously unsafe as it was occupied by alot of migrant workers in the premises and look more like a illegal foreign worker dormitory. The 3 tourists were initially informed by the receptionist that their room were given to other workers and were even asked to stay together with the male workers in the same room. They realized that these workers were wearing scantily (only sarongs) in the room and some of them appears to be drunk. The 3 tourists refused and left the Inn immediately feeling the whole situation was not right and unsafe. However they were left stranded on the streets in the middle of the night. My friends credit card was deducted for the nights which they did not stay in the Inn. They believed that the Inn management have planned this scam in such a manner that they can easily cheat the tourists who did not know the actual ground situation of the Inn. Also suspect several of these workers may be overstayers without legal work permits as they seems to be staying there for a long time. The Inn is definitely not a safe place for tourists to stay in. The practice of this Inn not only causes distress to the overseas visitors but also shame us Singaporeans which our country projected a very safe reputation to visitors from all over the world. The matter has been reported to relevant Singapore authorities.

I stayed here in early December 2022 for a few nights. In general, this hostel is very conveniently located. It is only 4-minute walk from the Downtown Line MRT station. It is the same station that has the closest ATMs. The hostel requires you to pay your balance using cash. If you want to pay by card, there is an additional 3% charge and you'd have to walk to their sister hostel to use their card machine. The sister site is on another street but they claim it's just a 5-minute walk. Also, if you want to print anything or use a microwave, you'd have to walk across the street to the Chic Hostel to do so since this one doesn't have it. There is a fridge but no microwave. The good thing is that they do your laundry, within the same day if you tell them to, for $12. The dorms on the 4th floor did not have a lock on the door so it didn't feel secure from anyone else who may decide to wonder up there. They did have a key card for the individual lockers though. There's only one outlet by your bed so I'd recommend getting an adapter with multiple USB ports or something. The 4th and 3rd floors share a 2-stall shower and toilet combo which was a tight squeeze and a bit moldy, which probably cannot be helped with such humid climates. Only bodywash was available in the showers. Each toilet come with its own handheld bidet. I just wished that the restrooms had paper towels to dry your hands. I did like that each bed had its own TV with Netflix and headphones (even though I never used it). The A/C runs all night which is great. I also liked that eac bed has their owne privacy curtains as well as their own drying rack and clothes hangers.

In curtin Singapore Reading, very close to the new site of the school, 15 minutes by bus, and close to Jin Wentai, the hotel provides continental breakfast from Monday to Friday, although the variety is very limited, but the breakfast is enough for nutrition, especially the ham is delicious, the hotel apartment room is what I see Singapore Hotel is comparison Big, there is a kitchen where you can cook kitchen utensils and tableware. The washing machine with dryer is very convenient. There are also food courts nearby, but there is a pasta restaurant downstairs in the hotel that tastes very good, and it is also very close to west coast park It is very suitable for running. house keeping is done on Tuesdays and Saturdays. It won’t be too disturbing to rest. Overall, this apartment is very good, very quiet and suitable for living. If you don’t like noisy, it’s also very difficult to book.

Arrive in Singapore late at night. I was at an age when it was difficult to stay at the airport, so I chose to lie down, but this was quite comfortable. A taxi from the airport costs $33 (including late night charges). The late-night reception was unmanned, but the self-check-in system worked well, and although it was a small space that looked like a closet, the women's 6-person room was so quiet that I thought no one was there, and the mattress and sheets were surprisingly good. It's high and I had a good night's sleep (although in the morning some people started unpacking their suitcases and there was nowhere to step) Showers and toilets are clean, but be aware that the floors can get wet. Also, perhaps because of the corona crisis, there is no breakfast service as mentioned in previous reviews.

great experience! First of all, had a free upgrade to a Premier room. So huge thanks for that! Went with my partner and had a good rest! Room is beautiful! Although it's rather small, the layout of the room is good enough for it to not matter. One downside is that there was only one chair, which prompted us to move the table by the tv nearer to the bed so that both of us had a seat whilst eating. You can get nespresso in the morning which doesnt add on to your bill and a mini 'fridge' to keep your cold items chilled! Service was great too! Had in-room dining in the morning where we ordered the chef's brekkie. Took me a while to figure out how to call the front desk but when I did, everything else was seemless. However, the food we got didnt really live up to the price. Location-wise, the hotel is near where you wanna go for a good shopping day. However, heading up the hill to get to the hotel is somewhat annoying. It wasnt as accessible as I hoped it to be. Best to drive to the hotel rather than public transport because you'd have to walk a distance and up a hill to get there.

I was at room 301. With 1 Double bed and 1 Single bed. The room size is quite large than my thought, which is great! This room has no windows. There are shower kit of L’occitane, an dryer and slippers below the bed, free bottle of water, and free coffee and tea bag. The toilet has bidet. The shower has closable door to separate wet and dry area. The fridge is little bit small (can store up to 3 medium bottles of water). Each outlet has a switch that can be turned off. The side bed is a little bit dusty but I don’t really care. The location is great, not far from MRT DT23 and bus stop that can go to Chinatown and Marina bay. The staff is nice. The issue of this stay is the door has a security lock but cannot use because the lock at the door side is missing, anyway the door is digital door lock. We had a double capsule in a large mixed dorm, however the capsules create fantastic privacy and it didn't feel like a shared space at all. The capsules were well maintained and neat and had everything we needed. Mirror, plug etc. Shared bathrooms were cleaned regularly and were great. Location is brilliant, right in Chinatown and very close to the MRT. I would definitely stay here again. Only criticism is that the capsules and bathrooms can get verrrrrrry hot. One night, my partner couldn't sleep all night as the AC just didn't seem to be effecting our capsule. We notified the staff about this the next day and they gave us a fan for our capsule. Which was fantastic. Not great if you need silence for sleeping. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Maybe 7 feet by 5 feet space that the bed and counter ledge doesn't take up. Not much bigger than a pod sized room; but at least you get a good-sized bathroom which was the best part of the room. Excellent shower head with plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable even though it was difficult to get out of as you had to butt hop to make it to the end of the bed. There was more free space in the bathroom than in the bedroom. Narrow counter top for your laptop, the phone, the coffee maker, and other odds and sods. Other positives apart from the bathroom were the basic cleanliness and kind of cool gold-colored basin. Air conditioning worked well; but was difficult to control the temperature. Not much to sit on - a half-chair with basically no backing and hard on your back-end. I would recommend not staying in the type of room I stayed in for more than 2 weeks. There are larger rooms in the hotel with a window; but even the larger rooms from the photos I've seen don't have much room to move around. The hotel has a very small lobby with 2 comfortable armchairs; and not much else. There are nooks and crannies where you can store your belongings including clothers hangers on the walls and space under the bed. Definitely no closet. Another positive is the excellent modern elevator and friendly receptionists. Apart from the coffee maker there is a small refrigerator (which wasn't working during my stay) and a personal safe. I told the receptionist about the fridge not working; but he misunderstood me and thought I meant the phone not working. Another negative - during the weekdays the hotel receptionist is only on duty until 5pm. On the weekends they are on duty until much later. If you need something from the receptionist and they are off duty you have to go to the sister hotel around the corner the ”Hotel Clover - The Arts.” If you arrive when the receptionist is not on duty there is a note with a phone number to phone; but it would be helpful if they had directions to where the Hotel Clover The Arts is located. I actually had to show a fellow who arrived late and was waiting for a receptionist to show up where the HC The Arts hotel was. The Clover 7 may not be a bad choice; but only if you are there for not a long time period. I was there for a month and got used to the room size; but would definitely not recommend staying longer than a couple of weeks if that. Strange how you can adjust to anything; but if you are a tiny bit claustrophobic either make sure you either choose a different/larger room or a different hotel.

This review is long over due. My extended family and I stayed at Oakwood Studios Singapore through most of December 2022 and onto the first week of January 2023. The circumstances around our stay was very difficult but the management and staff at the Oakwood Studios made our stay most comfortable and we can’t thank them enough. This is not your typical service apartment but one with a special touch. And it seems to be popular with expats on short assignments to Singapore and families who have patients being treated at MT E Orchard or many of the other medical facilities across Singapore. Nestled across from York hotel and one building next to Quincy this is a most unique property. I have stayed at both the others in the past but I prefer Oakwood by far with its balcony in every room and clean and modern style with kitchenette. But it’s the people that made all the difference. I would like to specially thank Hitesh for going out of his way and even while on holiday to accommodate our ever changing dates and need for rooms. A big thanks to Nass as well for always stepping up and being most accommodating. Thank you Dan, Denise, Kym, Jet and Shobina for all the help at reception, with the brilliant breakfast boxes and recommendations. The residents loved the Thursday night cocktail and snacks which were complimentary and the many hidden outdoor places in the building (including the roof top pool). A must stay in Singapore for those planning to stay for a week or longer. At the time we were there, we heard that the Ascott group had bought Oakwood Studios. As good as the Ascott brand are themselves, I do hope they allow Oakwood Studios to retain its unique style and personality.

Mary, Maica, and Carms were excellent team that help me in everything that I requested, thanks to all of them. The room was quiet at night even it is in China Town. Plenty good restaurants, near to two SMRT stations, ”China town” and ”Maxwell”, The cleans of the room was amazing and in the same floor you can wash and dry your clothes free or charge. The cooking stuff enough to cook a regular meal. Decent Internet speed. Easy check in and out. quick to revert the deposit to my credit card. Overall wonderful stay

Excellent service, nice staff and host. Love this clean, spacious and well equitment apartment. A palace ambience and super huge from the path way to the entrance and all the way to the unit. Felt like your own kingdom when you enter. Super economic price for singapore stay like this. The area is hidden in housing estate around tourist spot like chinatown and also towards east west side of singapore. They provide such a clean and huge water pressure not to mention which makes a plus tick for foreigner who is worried of water hygience. After my check out the staff also greeted me with super nice attitude and easy going personality. Very nice place that won't push or kick guest out once you complete the stay, everything was smooth and perfect. Nice idea of this concept!

The service is excellent and you can see the smile in the crew’s faces all the time, that can really boost the guests’ moods. In addition, the room is small but well laid out, all the facilities are provided in a sustainable way. On top of that, the cleanliness is remarkable, all the corners and space that are unobvious are as clean as the other parts. The breakfast is delicious and the categories are diverse. What’s more, the hotel provided a free cake for my birthday, that’s really a huge surprise and I’m extremely happy. Overall, if you would like to stay in Singapore, the Clan Hotel is definitely your best choice.

The facilities are very good, it is a local villa area, very beautiful, the landlord is also very good, and provide a lot of help. The only thing that is not perfect is the 30 Singapore dollar sanitation fee, which is not cleaned. It is said that it will be cleaned only once in 7 days. We only live for three days. We do n’t have cleaning tools ourselves, which makes us unreasonable.
