when we walked into the hotel, we saw a lot of people playing in the swimming pool, some women wearing skirts with black scarfs on their heads, men wearing T-shirt, they playing, laughing, even eating in the water, making the water disgusting, we were totally shocked! there's a restaurant in the hotel, they were holding a party from evening to midnight, playing music every every loudly! there was a machine just close to the room, I don't know what kind of machine is, I took a picture, it made noise loudly just liked a big truck driving pass your room all the time . Mosquitoes are extremely abundant in the room, but there's no mosquito net or mosquito incense. you can imagine the disgusting pool, the loud noise all the night, abundant mosquitoes, making the hotel like a hell for the guests. I can take legal responsibility for what I said is true!游泳池里很多人穿服泡在水里，女的穿裙子包头巾，男的穿短袖T恤，他们又闹又笑甚至在游泳池里吃东西！晚上酒店的餐厅举办party直到半夜11点半45分才结束，音乐声震动窗子哗哗响。房间旁边有个机器，不知道是什么，像个大卡车一样整晚响不停，这里简直就是一个地狱！我可以为我说的真实性负法律责任

This hotel is the most cost-effective in my trip. The previous two adults and one child were all over 2000, but here there is no need to add a bed. It is within three digits. I saw that the room next door costs more than 2,000. The room is large and the balcony is also super large. The front desk helped us upgrade the room for free. The whole hotel feels like a resort. It is in the villa area and very quiet. Next time I come to Negombo, Sri Lanka, I must stay two more nights.

This hotel is our first stop when we arrived in Sri Lanka. It's a pity that our flight arrived at night, so we felt the attentive service when we arrived at the hotel. When we got up the next morning to have breakfast, we were amazed by the large lawn and swimming pool. The environment is really good. It's a pity that we have to leave, otherwise swimming would definitely be a very happy thing 😄

Great hotel, with a very warm welcome! The sunset facing the lagoon and the swimming pool is to be done and we ate very well Cleanliness of the premises, high quality service (valet parking, very responsive reception, etc.) I recommend !

After initially staying at Regenta Arie Lagoon last year with a cousin, I returned this year with family and friends and couldn’t have been more impressed. They were so responsive beforehand, met our various groups flying in from overseas at all hours and were such good value for money with excellent facilities. The beautiful pool and delicious breakfast buffet were a hit with all our family and friends. The GM Mr Shashika went out of his way to assist with bookings and coordinate other day trips as part of their service which was greatly valued. We will definitely be back!

This was our second visit to Regenta Arie Lagoon, and once again, it was an amazing experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff stood out—they were incredibly friendly and helpful. Any little issue was resolved so quickly, and they really made us feel cared for. It’s rare to come across service that is *this* good. The food was absolutely delicious and served in abundance, which was such a treat. The rooms are super spacious for the price, making it such an easy choice to stay here. Everything was so clean—the bathrooms especially were spotless and had reliable hot water, which was a big bonus. There were many big swimming pools to enjoy, and the views of the lagoon were calming. Every little detail felt thought out and well-maintained. We stayed here so that my sister could have an easier and more joyous time getting to the airport, and it couldn’t have been more convenient. Thank you to the amazing team at Regenta Arie Lagoon for making our stay so wonderful again! Honestly, we don’t have a single complaint—it’s a 100/100 stay for us. We wish the hotel all the success and prosperity in the future and hope it continues to provide this level of outstanding service for years to come.

This was the worst hotel we stayed at Sri Lanka . The rooms were terrible the bathroom was filthy. The restaurants looked scary the pool was slimy. We thought we would have a drink at the bar. What a mistake it was hot and the music was pumping like a night club. We left and decided to venture to Jet Wings resort next door which was simply amazing.

Ok place to put your head down after a long flight before you get out of the city. Rooms a bit dark and tired. Bar and pool staff lovely but restaurant staff not the best at service. The dinner was average. Everyone trying their best but need more training to ensure guests get drinks with meals and service completed quicker than 90mins.

Stayed here recently for 1 night at the start of a Trip A Deal tour to Sri Lanka and would stay here again. The property and room looked fresh and clean with a polished cement floor which took a while to get used to, but seems common in Sri Lanka. The room we had was quite big with a large firm-ish bed. The pool was cooling, with a nice outlook, but poorly positioned near the dining room. The hotel however, is not well positioned, but in a quiet area - Tuk Tuk needed to go anywhere interesting. We experienced a massive thunderstorm here overnight and some in our party had their rooms flooded. It represents good value, and would great for a relaxing few days.

Lovely hotel to stay after a flight, would of been good to stay longer food was good great Tea & Coffee, very relaxing rooms, beds very comfortable beautiful surroundings perfect and relaxing close to outside amenities showers were great swimming pool great

One of the hotels used by Luxury Escapes tours in Sri Lanka. Accoms were nice enough, drink on arrival and good customer service in the hotel part. Loved the pool aspect and that the hotel had a gym (which I used). Biggest downside was the area, I wouldn't really recommend this location, need to get a Tuk tuk to Negombo, which wasn't that nice a place to visit (we looked at the fort and the fishing markets, but I wouldn't recommend stopping). The town centre itself wasn't anything great in comparision to other stops in Sri Lanka. Possibly in the wrong area to get the best out of Negombo. Worst part was the service in the ala carte restaurant. We had been earlier in the day and people were getting food within 20 minutes. We needed to eat and had an hour before our tour meeting at 7pm, we ordered a drink each and three meals between three of us. Took 20 minutes for the drinks to come out, and then after 40 minutes we checked on when the food was coming, told it was shortly. Then another 20 minutes for ONE main to come out, and then another 15 for the next, and then another 5 for the last. Couldn't understand the delay, the buffet restaurant was nearly empty, nothing seemed to be happening quickly inside that would account for the extraordinary delay. We got the bill - all full price, so we asked manager for a discount as we had missed the meeting and had been stuffed around. It wasn't overly expensive, more the principle of the matter. They offered 10% (basically the service charge or a tax) and then couldn't allow more apparently. This just really was disappointing service. In the end I negotiated a free coffee in the morning. I also suggested that they should provide updates if customers are waiting a long time, and perhaps a free drink and some apologies for delays. Breakfast (buffet) was better as I served myself, food however was generally not hot unless you visited omelette stations etc. This was the second night in Sri Lanka and by far the longest time we waited for foods over the trip. This did seem to be a theme throughout Sri Lanka however in hotel restaurants (buffet foods always cold, and slow service for a la carte). I would not stay here again for the location, but also the food.

This hotel was our first stop in Sri Lanka. It is a few miles from the International airport but the journey is quite long due to the busy roads. The room was quite spacious and of fairly good quality - a little dated - so fine for one or two nights to recover from a long flight. Our evening meal was delicious - a huge choice of buffet curries etc.

The Regenta Arie Lagoon regularly I visit this property, I am writing to file a formal complaint about my recent stay at your hotel Chauffer / Guide Accommodation. Unfortunately, my experience was not up to the standard I expected, and I would like to bring a few issues to you attention! The Chauffer / Guide Accommodation I was disappointed to, No drinking water and no any water filter machine. Bed Mattress (More than 5 Yes old) Spider Nat's everywhere. Bed Sheets (Very small sheet not enough for the bed) Mosquito Net (Not Wash More then 1 year) Bathroom (Not clean more than 6 month) Commode Toilet seat Broke. Car Park Toilet drainage overflow (Very Bad Smell Car Parking area). Overall Poor maintenance, the accomandation and toilets looking very poor!

We were warmly welcomed by the hotel's staff upon arrival. Check in was smooth and the rooms are spacious. A lovely bath had been drawn waiting for our arrival.
