Riviera Hotel Macau Reviews

We had a good stay at Riviera Hotel Macau. The location is good, it’s quiet. Had a great view of the Macau Tower and walking distance to Our Lady of Penha church. The room was clean and have all the basic nessesities for a comfortable stay. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed there for 6 nights and 6 days. they served same breakfast everyday. We didn’t mind at first but overtime, we started to crave variety. Eating the same thing everyday can become monotonous, even if it’s delicious. If would be nicer if they could serve breakfast with different dishes every other days. Overall, we had a good stay.

Great Hotel, with great services, the views are immaculate.

They upgraded my room without me asking them. The staff members were polite and helpful. The surrounding is nice and quiet. We easily figured out how to get to the busiest area with public transportation. The ride duration is only 15 minutes. The bus stop must be within a couple of hundreds feet from the front door. We were also impressed by the water-front view.

The hotel was very good overall. It was 11 mins from the Macao ferry port, taxi ride about 50-60HKD. We walked to the ruins of st Paul's which took 24mins. We were on the second floor and had no view, but we were there for 1 day, so not too bothered. A room with 3 beds cost £83 with breakfast, although Western choice was limited, Chinese selection was ok We got small bottle of water free, everything else was chargeable in the room, other soft drinks, tea and coffee too. There was a shower and a bath tub in our room, 2039.

recently stayed at [Hotel Name] and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the view from my room was stunning. Waking up to such a beautiful scenery each morning was a real highlight, and it made for a peaceful and refreshing start to my day. The cleanliness was well-maintained; the housekeeping staff did a great job, and my room was always tidy. I appreciated coming back each day to a neat, clean space. However, there were a few downsides. The breakfast was the same every morning with limited options, so it got repetitive quickly. A bit more variety would really enhance the experience. Additionally, the gym left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, many of the machines were either not working or in poor condition, which was disappointing as I like to keep up with my workouts when traveling. Overall, it’s a nice spot if you’re looking for great views and clean accommodations, but improvements in breakfast variety and gym maintenance would make it a more well-rounded experience.

The concierge was really nice and gave me a free upgrade to a room with a balcony. What a spectacular view of Macau 😍 because I could see Macau tower. I also dropped my powerbank in between the furniture and I asked help, the staff immediately came to my room to assist. I also got on the free shuttle to the city centre or ferry terminal. It's also very clean and have toiletries and water. Will want to stay again! 😁

Staff were really friendly. Rooms were clean, spacious. We got an upgrade to a room with balcony as well. View was really great as we could see the Macau tower and the sea. Have a great stay and definitely would reccommend. Downside is that it is up the hill, hence might be a little inconvenient.

Great hotel! The bed is so comfortable! The location is a bit far, but you can always take the bus or taxi. Remember to bring more cash when in Macau!

The hotel is located on the hill with Macau Tower view. It’s a nice and quiet hotel without ******.

Pretty calm place to have a hotel in. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Bit less amenities than usual hotels in Hong Kong. But overall was extremely satisfying.

It may seem far from Casinos, but it is within few minutes of ride. it is on mid hill, having great view, day and night, down the lakes, casinos, bridges. Up the hill is an ancient church, now a nunery. It has gyms. Taxi drivers say the breakfast here is great, better than anywhere in town. Staff, especially Nina at front desk, are competent, decisive but yet soft and gentle. Around the hotel, there is a pathway, by the harbor and water utility board, down to the Magi temple.

Overall is qood. However, the room was different from what I saw during the booking. They assigned me a room with bold red tones and heavy Chinese deco, but it's fine. The room was still good and spacious.

Good hotel, this is a very nice experience, I really appreciate this place

The hotels location wasn’t easily accessible to nearby restaurants. The blankets were dirty, all the water and bar items were priced. The staff wasn’t welcoming. Buffet breakfast was limited, the options weren’t versatile for a four star hotel. We were vegetarians. Plus when we requested the hotel to book us a taxi for 6, the front desk couldn’t, just because he could only order a four seater. But the other hotels would always order a 6 seater. I don’t know what was the issue.
