Hotel is located near the subway and bus stop. Thus, making travel to places of interest easy. There’s also shopping and food within walking distance from the hotel. Breakfast is not bad considering the price point. Slight variations for breakfast are made daily too.

Great for multi-day stay. Great cost effectiveness. Great location. Clean and great amenities. Near metro. Near lots of food options. Would recommend to others.

The hotel is close to Karasuma-oike station. However, if you have a luggage, it is easier to exit by elevator from Exit 5 and cross the road to the hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Space is decent for a family of 3. We also liked that they have a common place at the lobby where we can eat or snack. They also offer coffee, water and other amenities (toothbrush, cotton buds, face wash etc) too.

Horrible experience at the hotel. besides the bed and frequently used areas, I can see dust on the walls and corners of the room. The 6 nights no cleaning policy is horrible. The only benefit you get is the washing machine. Bathroom has the old mouldy smell. They assigned my room to another person because I checked in late and I got a shocked when I opened the door that there were belongings inside. The staff were running to me to change the keycard. As it was cold there’s only heat function, I had to open the window for cold air. Price is reasonable for such standards but I wouldn’t recommend if you can’t stand too much dust left over by the past tenants.

This hotel has wonderful costumer services and the employees speak many languages. Right up the street there is a 7/11 store for all your snack run, there are cafe and restaurant within walking distance. The Karasuma-Oike station is literally 3-5 minutes walk. The best part is the traveler’s store that is about a 10 min walk. I been wanting to go there and finally got to visit it. This store has stationary items such as notebooks that can have you record your journey.

Bed was super comfy and bigger than most of the other Japan hotels. Good space to open luggage. Provides PJ too. Service was warm and nice from the moment we arrived. Staff not always stationed at the front desk but someone will assist when you ring the bell.

Great location near subway (2 lines) and only 3 stops from Kyoto station. The view was nice from the 7th floor. Washing machine in the room is a plus. There even is some kind of trousers press in the room. Unfortunately there was no free bed linens change during my 6 day stay. I had to pay for one (not very expensive though). Also the breakfast could be better.

Good vibes, good breakfast

Good location, great hospitality but the hygiene was so poor that I was looking fwd to checkout day. The bathroom smelled bad all the time. The water in the toilet bowl was so high that it spilled whenever used. I felt disgusted and stressed whenever I used toilet. If you don't mind the hygiene, maybe you will like this place but for me. I prefer another place. Breakfast was too salty. I couldn't find anything not that salty except egg, bread, rice and raw cabbage If you have kidney problem, I recommend you to avoid.

Best location for a fair price in Kyoto. 350 railway station and even bus station is closer. But a walk of 2 km to the city is not bad !

Location is very convenient. I love the facilities with washing machine. The room is spacious, I enjoyed my stay here!

The room size was pretty generous for 4 person family. We had two mattresses and two floor mats. We liked the bathroom and facilities such as bar fridge and kettles. We like the breakfast with a range of food to choose from. We are also very happy with the services. The only drawback I would say is that the floor mat is not comfortable.

Excellent hotel, not big, but also not small. Great location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Will definitely come back again!

We had a great experience staying in this hotel.Our room has everything including Microwave and washing machine😍. Nice interior,comfortable beds and all the staff are very polite and kind. We had the best breakfast eveyday!! Both japanese and western food are available. I booked 3 hotels during our Japan trip and Tokyu Stay Karasuma is no.1.😁
